Granting Katelyn is the second book in the Sweet Valley Series by S.E. Reichert. It is a wonderful small town western romance with plenty of emotion, angst, a damaged MC, an injured horse, painful past, secrets, mystery, chemistry, challenges, family, friendship, taking a chance on love/finding love unexpectedly, breaking barriers, the healing power of love, and hope. The story highlights some sensitive topics too, which could be triggers for some readers- so be aware.
This is Katelyn and Grant’s story. Katelyn is Elle’s younger sister (Elle was our mc in “Raising Elle’- Book #1). Katelyn is called in to help an injured horse, whose owner sparks more than her curiosity. We get front row seats as we watch the healing power of love at work. But that’s not to say there aren’t a few bumps along the way.
Another great addition to the series. Now I’m happily anticipating Book #3.
