Tears Into Gold by Cori Cooper is an original and fun fantasy story that has a definite fairytale feel to it. I got the ‘vibe’ of several well-known and loved fairytales from this story, such as Cinderella, Rumpelstiltskin, and the Emperor’s New Clothes. It gave the story an extra element of intrigue and mystery that I really loved.
I have read and enjoyed all of Ms. Cooper’s books, and this was no exception. I Can’t wait to see what she does next.
