Themes OF Kismet: A Multicultural Meet Cute Romance was a delightful read. I have not read anything from A. Akinosho before and I was pleasantly surprised. It reminded me a bit of the movie Serendipity.
They say third time’s a charm but, in this case, “fourth time’s a charm” in this little gem of a story. Our characters meet several times throughout their lives, but it is the fourth time that they won’t let anything stand in their way.
Kismet has a lot to answer for in this tale. Kismet is a finical and persistent creature and not to be trifled with when it comes to love.
Unfortunately, Noah and Ebun’s journey is not sunshine and roses. This lovely romance story is a twisty road to love. Being from different cultures plays a lot in the story but it makes for a sweet tale.
The characters are well developed and A. Akinosho writing style make this a charming tale.
It has all the feels and is filled with drama, angst, betrayal, lies, secrets, frustrations, hopes, dreams and humour but let’s not forget the danger that is lurking just around the corner.
If you like a sweet romance tale, then Themes OF Kismet is for you.
