This is a really enjoyable fantasy adventure. This story was really powerful for me. As a parent myself I can understand Oden’s need to do anything he can to protect his daughter from the reality of how dangerous and dead their world is and also to hide her from the things that happen that would scare an adult never mind a child. Like most parents Oden provides this protection no matter the cost to himself.
But all magic comes at a cost and Oden knows the cost of protecting his daughter in this way will mean losing his life. As the next war is due to start its not just his daughter that Oden has to protect but with his time almost up will he be able to provide the miracle they need to save the remaining people?
This is a story filled with magic, adventure, prophecies, danger, the constant threat of war and one man’s determination to protect his daughter no matter the cost. It is a gripping and moving story which I really enjoyed.

This was an absolutely adorable cozy mystery quick read! The hilarious relationship between Genie and her ghostly partner, her great aunt Adriana is simply laugh out loud funny. I had not read the first book, something I will be remedying ASAP, but the author did a great job of summarizing things, without over stating things, while still keeping the story line moving along. The sleuth team end up in Italy attempting to get Aunt Adriana’s things back from an auction, but immediately things go south and the pair are investigating. This is a wonderful quick read for any cozy mystery reader!

I enjoyed reading this second chance romance story. This is an author that I have enjoyed reading their books from the first one. I enjoy her writing skills and her attention to details that make the stories realistic. This book is no different. This is a well written story where one summer could change everything for two people. I enjoyed how they pulled me into their world with ease and kept me engaged to the end. The characters bring their world to life with their chemistry and growth. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. A story that will pull at your heartstrings in parts and hope that they find their HEA in others. I really enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.

This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. This is the third book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series as well. Makayla is back in another school year with a new suspenseful fantasy. A story where there are more than just dead bodies being dug up but also where no secrets are safe. These students are about to find out why skeletons are better off in a closet. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their story. Makayla is a great character that has been my favorite of this series. She is strong, engaging and adds so much to the story. The things she finds herself in keep me turning pages fast. I enjoyed the growth of this story which made it easy and entertaining to read. A fast paced, hard to put down story. A shorter story that packs non-stop fantasy. This is one you don’t want to miss or this series for sure. I enjoyed this book and I think you will as well. I highly recommend this book.

I loved this book so much! Yes, I bought it for my kiddos (8 & 11), but I also really enjoyed it. I love books that are entertaining, but also a learning experience as well. This book teaches you a TON of safety guides when it comes to dogs. The book follows CJ and Lora’s safety tips with their dogs, Porter who is a Mastiff and Midge who is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. They explain different ways to care for your pet dog and how to interact with other people’s dogs. Throughout the book you get to see many types of dogs and how to be safe with them all. The illustrations are super cute and the information in the book on dog safety is really great. I even learned a few things! Such a great book for kids. Learning how to act around dogs is something everyone should, not just kids! I can’t wait to read the next books: The Puppy Adventures of Porter and Midge: Out and About & The Puppy Adventures of Porter and Midge: Paws at Attention. If you are thinking of getting a dog for yourself or your child(ren) these books are GREAT for learning!! They ALL teach you different things- from safety, socialization, training, and focus.

Lottery of secrets was the first book that I have read by this author. Lottery of secret’s was a face paced suspense/ thriller read for me. Following Lynn and her husband Jimmys story was captivating to me i could not stop reading this book. I Feel for Lynn she is supposed to be living her life and enjoying it and instead she is kind of living in a nightmare. So many twists and the last 3 chapters were my favorite. Although we have to wait for book two to come out leaving us on cliff hangers it will be worth the wait. If you are a suspense reader or like thrillers i would consider reading this book you will not be disappointed. Thank you to this author for writing this wonderful book and i can not wait for more reads by you.

This book can be read as a stand-alone but I highly suggest that you go back and read the previous 8 books in the series…that’s the only way to fully understand Logan and her many murder mystery adventures! In this book we find that Logan finds herself yet again in the middle of crime and violence. It seems that no matter where Logan is, mystery follows her! The more Logan tries to solve the murder mystery, the more she finds that she has a target on her back. This is a page turning must read! I promise you will be throughly entertained and won’t want to put the book down once you start! Happy reading!!

This is the 7th book in this series and although it’s a standalone and I would highly suggest reading the rest of the series before this one.

Dingo is trying to prove himself to his brothers but hides his pain behind is fun personality. Celee is on the run and comes across Dingo who takes her in and gives her a safe place. Both characters are broken in their own way but together they learn to lean on each other. This story is full of action, drama, suspense, humor, and passion. Another great story from the Grimm Wolves series.

This was such an entertaining cozy mystery. I adored the adventure that Genie and her great-great-aunt Adriana were on. Adriana is such a unique personality in a ghost. If I were going to be haunted, I would love one like that. Genie is just trying to keep everyone happy. She’s trying to help Adriana get her belongings back. They are in Italy and the auction house with Adriana’s beautiful dress burns down. With Matt’s help, they have some crazy journey to figure out what happened and who set the fire. Who stole the dress? I loved the story. The humor is just right. I loved how Adriana is called the animal whisperer. Genie just wants to have a little bit of a relationship without Adriana present. That’s the downside, lack of privacy. The characters have such quirky personalities. The whole story just came together so well. This is a must read for cozy mystery lovers. I plan to read more from the author. This is a fun series.

It’s all going so well until a man from her past shows up, will he ruin things between Jack and Joy? Or will it be happily ever after just in time for Christmas? I couldn’t put it down, it was brilliant!

I loved all the prompts and positive affirmations and heart opening activities they helped me more than anyone will ever know. I’m trying really hard to find myself while being strong. This journal helped me to realize that my life hasn’t been mine for a long time. So here’s to me and healing while being the best me I can be and praying I find peace in all I’ve been through. . This book is a heartwarming story of Joy whom was down on her luck after her Grandmother’s passing and being relentlessly harassed by the evil Mr Pomeroy. She travels to Virginia city to become Marshal Jack’s mail order bride and care for his adorable twin niece Natalie and Nephew Nathan. Trouble follows her but Jack promises to protect her and after some misadventures they fall in love❤️. This book is a page turner and ticked all the boxes for a great read.

This was a great 5 star read. This series has quickly become one of my favorites and I was excited to finally get Shane and Winter’s story. Be prepared for a heck of a rollercoaster of emotions and so much more. Winter returns to university, she is struggling with some things from her past. When Shane see’s Winter his need for revenge ignites. But as he spends time with her will he be able to go through with it? What will happen if Winter finds out his secrets?
Overall this was a great dark read. There are so many twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I highly suggest reading this series from the start. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. 1-click and get started today.

This is an interesting story, Elijah books himself on an author’s retreat hoping to find that spark again but what he finds is so much more. Austin just happens to be working the author’s retreat and when the two meet the sparks fly. Neither man is sure of the step to take but they cannot deny what they feel.
It was nice to see the way their relationship progressed through this story. Each man is dealing with his own trauma and must decide if he wants to take a chance with his heart. Who knew a fake relationship would take them on a journey to this? Their story is sweet and low angst. It was nice to see how they supported each other and were willing to fight for what they wanted.

Doombringer by Marcel Liemant is a bit of an epic fantasy adventure with magic, prophecy, secrets, discovery, monsters, action, war/battles, challenges, dramatic developments, and high stakes.
This story tells the tale of the lengths a father is willing to go to in order to save his daughter from doom. But in his quest to save her, he finds himself thrust into an adventure with the fate of the realm resting in his hands. He must find a way to end the war, but at what cost? Add some darkness, corrupting magic, terrifying beasts, danger, challenges, and great risk- and this story takes an engrossing turn.
This proved to be an intriguing read, and I am looking forward to exploring more of this author’s work in the future.

Ghost Takes A Vacation is the second book in the Genie and Adriana Darling Cozy Paranormal Ghost Mysteries series by Carmen Radtke. Even though it is the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone, which is what I did. Having said that though, this was such a fun read and has sparked my curiosity about the events in Book #1 — So I will definitely be snapping up a copy to explore before continuing on with this charming series.
It is a light-hearted and fun cozy mystery with paranormal elements, drama, adventure, quirky characters, intrigue, suspense, banter, & investigation, family dynamics, friendship, and more.
What’s not to love about a mystery that pairs the living and the dead. Genie is the living, and Adriana is a ghost (and Genie’s long-dead Great-Aunt). Together they make quite the pair. A little mayhem ensues as they set about solving their latest mystery. Making for a very entertaining read.

Where the Ocean Meets the Sky (The Ocean Series) by A.R. Hadley. This isn’t the first book that I have read by Ms. Hadley, so I thought I knew what to expect- something emotional and angsty…. and she did deliver that.
This is a companion novel for/with ‘The Ocean In His Veins’ – which is where I started this journey. Cal and Annie are such well-developed individuals with their own baggage, quirks, flaws, and personalities. They have been lovingly crafted into ‘real’ individuals who pull us into their emotional story.
This story touched me, but also frustrated me, because I found it hard to connect with the characters and become fully invested in them or the outcome of their story the way I would have liked to. And I’m not sure why exactly. This has all the ingredients that would normally grab me- but it didn’t. So, I have decided to revisit it again in a few weeks to see if I still feel the same way, or maybe I’ll find that I was just having an ‘off’ reading day this time around.
Don’t let my opinion and lack of connection put you off grabbing a copy for yourself and making up your own mind though.

My biggest guilty pleasure, vampires! I’ve been obsessed for at least 30 years. This series though, I’ve been obsessed with this for 2 years. Master Sardinia is the 8th book in the Masters of the Consulate Series. A dark vampire romance with continued drama thrown in. I love this author and series and I don’t want it to ever end.
The rogues have moved into Master Sardinia’s territory, which is where this story begins. This is his story. Not one to believe in love and attachment he doesn’t understand the mates his fellow consulate members have taken on. Especially those who have settled with their mortal enemies, the witches. When he is tasked with saving Madria’s life his outlook on mate’s changes. Unfortunately he has a deep secret that could ruin their potential.
Madria loathes vampires. They slaughtered her ancestors, they are evil beasts. When she finally comes into contact with Master Sardinia she doesn’t hesitate to make that known. However when she wakes up after an attack as the one thing she loathes. Having to adapt to a new life while deciding to help these creatures she’s always hated has her wondering if she’s doing the right thing.
Secrets always come out…. Will this one destroy what our main characters are building?
Again I reiterate this is book 8 and I never want this series to end. It has everything you could want minus a comedic factor. The books the author has presented draw you in and leave you wanting more. It’s also a series where you need to start with book 1 and read in succession. So my question to you is? What are you waiting for?!?!

While she’s trying to solve this murder one of her students is kidnapped. While trying to help the parents she finds they are undocumented citizens and they don’t want to go to the police for fear of deportation
The tangled web of two different Mysteries and Logan being caught up in a web of lies deceit and betrayal makes this book intense but absolutely worth the read.
How much more death can Logan face, she’s strong and won’t stop for anything or anyone until the answers are unveiled
