Jack and Joy’s story definitely has a different feel to it. It isn’t a love story that starts like most. Both were in a desperate place, and were joining forces out of necessity. After being around each other for a few days, they like the energy each other gives off and you can see a romance building. Joy has some loose ends that will need to be tied up first though. It makes for a great romance with a little danger. I loved the way these two came together and the way the romance builds. Great story!

Logan just cant stay out of drama. In the beautiful pacific North West Logan decides to volunteer for the Raptor Sanctuary, but she gets way more than she bargained for when the vet ends up dead, their office absolutely ransacked and a raptor the vet was specially caring for is also dead. Logan jumps in to figure our what happened and this drags her into the center of trouble while the killer desperately tries to close any ties to them before they get caught. Logan and her friends find themselves in danger. I enjoyed that I didnt immediately have a suspect and had to follow the story with Logan to figure it out. This book can be read as a stand alone but you will Understand Logan better if you read the previous stories first!

OMG! I was super duper excited to read this next installment of this series. This one follows Shane from the previous books. This one was just as fantastic as the other. No, i think it was better, TBH. It’s filled with so much deceit, lies, emotions, drama, betrayal, spicy romance, and ups and downs that it’ll leave you dizzy and want more at the same time🥰. Some of these characters are a real piece of work (not gonna name names you’ll see lmao) but that’s just extra kudos to Isla Vaughn for creating them so well that you’ll feel such strong emotions toward them. Get ready to be left on the edge of your seat because this one leaves you on a cliffhanger 😬😬😭.I can’t believe that this series is about to end. This is the 9th book in the Logan McKenna mystery series. I have read every book on the series and thoroughly enjoyed them. It helps that I love the scenic Oregon coast and the view of the Pacific Ocean! This is a suspenseful mystery with a well defined female lead character. The plot gives the reader the right amount of mystery, deceitful twists and turns to keep asking what’s going to happen next. Things are not what they seem in this complex novel. You don’t have to go back to book one to enjoy this story but you’ll want to see the events that led Logan to this small town on the Oregon coast!

My emotions are not okay after reading this book. The story of Hope and Adam is passionate, raw and pure. The author builds each character separately while simultaneously intertwining their stories into a beautiful tale. I needed tissues and time with this one. Each time I put the book down I had to process what I had read. I love books that invest readers in their characters, connect them and make them feel a part of their world. This book is definitely one of those. Get some tissues ready and hold on to your heart because it is a fantastically emotional ride!

Such a wonderful story. I began reading this and was immediately channeling my inner kid. A great novel for children from 6 up to 10. I wish I would’ve found this a few years back when my son was younger because I believe he would’ve loved the story of Dylan the Detective. The story has a great captivating way of pulling you in with the words and illustrations.

Angela does a wonderful job of reeling you and making all the feelings come. If you haven’t read anything by this author, you are definitely missing out! The Logan McKenna series is one of my favorites and this 9th installment is quite an adventure. I love that we are always catching up with Logan in each book, but the setting is always different which keeps it refreshing. As usual our main character finds herself in the middle of a mysterious situation with a possible murder involved. I thought I was drawing great conclusions as to where we were headed, but the book takes quite a few twists and turns keeping you guessing until the end. You can read this as a standalone if you prefer because the author does a great job of providing background, but I bet you’ll be reaching for the rest of the series just as well! I highly recommend picking this thrilling crime read up and getting lost in Logan’s journey.

A fast paced, well written unpredictable gripping psychological thriller. Full of betrayal, violence lies and much more. The characters are thought out and well developed, easily believable. This book definitely grabs you and pulls you into the fear and paranoia as a good thriller should. As this being book one you will find it to be a cliff hanger, but enough twists and turns that you won’t be disappointed. Winning the lottery isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

In the second book in the series, Genie and Adriana find themselves on holiday in Italy. While there, they hope to recover a dress formerly owned by Adriana at an auction house. When the auction house goes up in flames before the auction, Genie and Adriana find themselves knee deep in another murder investigation, with the hunk Matt on the sidelines to offer help again. Opinion I found this book utterly charming. The suspense of will they/won’t they concerning Genie and Matt kissing kept me on the edge of my seat. (No, I will not tell you if they did.) The fact that Adriana is a ghost and can talk to animals kept me intrigued. (I’d love that ability!) Overall, I found this to be a great mystery book with loads of charm to it.

4.5 stars Grave Digger Academy III is a wonderful YA paranormal fantasy. Each book is delightful and gets better than the last. Make sure to read them in order so you get the back story and understanding of the characters. I love that the series is unique and original and full of fun. This intriguing story flows well and is well written. It is an exciting tale and is full of delightful and quirky characters that feel real. Grave Digger Academy is the place everyone wants to be at now, but it is a place where nothing is as it seems, and people are disappearing. With Witches, death, graves, deadly foes, deadly secrets, deadly games the twisted turns the intensity is turned up and mayhem and madness ensues. Expect the unexpected. Makayla is back at the Grave Digger Academy and finds there is something amiss and at the Academy. Who is this new foe? There is something darker at the Academy this time. It already has lots of secrets and things hidden within the grounds and in the darkness. Things that definitely go bump in the night.
I have said it before but will say it again there are still so many layers to be explored and revealed due to the unique nature of this world C.A has created. Follow along as Makayla and friends delve into the current mystery. You won’t be disappointed.

I enjoyed the first book in this duo and went on to read this one straight after. Where the Ocean Meets the Sky is the second book of a two-book duo although it can be read as a standalone. I do suggest you read this book first before reading this book The Ocean in His Veins otherwise you will be missing out on getting to know Cal as the first book goes through his life from 16 to 45 years.
In the end of the first book Cal met a woman that he felt something for. He is quite a bit older than her, but age doesn’t matter if it is love. Unfortunately, they both have their own demons to work through before a HEA could ever happen.
Annie is not coping from her brother’s death. But she has decided that she has to try to move on, but it means she needs to confront her demons. Now that she has met him she wants to overcome her past and hope for a future but is one summer all they will have?
Cal finally finds someone who he wants to get to know better but he still has to fully overcome his demons.
This book is just as interesting as the first book, and I still had moments of frustrations with both the MC’s. But it was good to see them confront their demons, their doubts, their fears, their loss and becoming comfortable with who they were.
Once again there are a lot of emotions in this story that was heartbreaking and made my heartache.
I look forward to seeing what else AR brings to the table.

A captivating stand alone! I wasn’t sure what I was getting with this book. The cover caught my eye and the description piqued my interest. Definitely glad I picked it up! Easily devoured in a single setting. I could not put the book down. It had a mix of dark magic with terrifying beasts set in a dark fantasy world. Would Oden end the war or die first? A what cost will a father go to save his child? How far into the darkness to triumph for a brighter future? I look forward to reading more works by this author.

A.R’s narrative flows well and is simplistic in its telling but makes for an interesting read. It is an emotional tale with grief, sadness, longing, love, and trust issues and so much more. Cal had lots of flaws and vulnerabilities making him seem more real. I have mixed thoughts about Cal, he frustrated me no end, but he is dealing with his demons. Trying to drown out his feelings by partaking in all the world had to offer instead of listening to his soul. At times I wanted to hug him and take away his pain then I wanted to smack him silly and knock some sense into to him. I put the book down in frustration so many times, but I kept picking it back up because I wanted to know what happened with him. Follow along as one boy goes through life and into an adult not finding what he thinks he needs but that may all change when she comes into his life. To find out though we need to read the next book Where the Ocean Meets the Sky which is where I am off to.

Ghost Takes A Vacation is a fun read. I love a good cosy mystery and one with a paranormal twist is even better. It is a quick and easy read and a perfect escape for a few hours with a glass of wine. Genie and her sleuthing ghostly partner great-great-aunt Adriana are back in the next adventure. It is full of lovable, quirky characters with a couple of unpredictable instances. I absolutely loved their crazy and witty banter and was laughing out loud. Aunt Adriana is such an enchanting character. Mayhem and madness ensues when Aunt Adriana won’t take no for an answer and wants her things requiring a quick trip to Tuscany. Well, it was mean to be anyway. Super sleuthing has never been more fun when these two get together to solve a crime. I am not going to share any spoilers because you should dig in to find out what happens. I can’t wait to see what comes next from Carmen.

The Cold Kid Case By: Rosalind Barden This was an incredibly unique historical mystery. The main character in this is an 11 year old girl which makes the plot incredibly interesting. This story is incredibly fast moving and Rosalind Barden creates a character that is absolutely enchanting. She has given Sparky such an interesting personality and really made me fall in love with the character of Sparky. I wanted to see how she was going to keep getting herself out of trouble. I wanted to see everything really work out for her. Sparky drives the plot and is such a well written character. I definitely cannot wait to see what more the author will bring to the series.

Even with both guarding their hearts out of fear of being hurt, there are some things that feel as though they are meant to be. However, as feelings deepen and truths come out….maybe they were never meant to be at all. What happens when others are pulling the strings of your life? Can your own feelings be trusted?
This was an amazing story of love, loss, and healing. There were moments that my emotions were rolling down my cheeks in the form of tears. I can’t even imagine what Adam was going through. And, it seemed as though these two were fated to find each other and fall in love. But, when the pieces start clicking together and they find out there were people working behind the scenes….can they trust their feelings for each other? I was rooting for them and hoping they could each heal themselves together. This was a great book that I did not want to put down. I will recommend this to anyone who asks for an emotional love story!

Finding Your Heart is a journal where you can unclutter your life by writing your thoughts and feelings. It is full of positive affirmations, creative prompts, and activities that will guide you in practicing love and self care. The exercises contained throughout the book will help you feel empowered and aid in your journey to letting go of past hurt and loss. After reading through this journal and following the exercises I had a different outlook on life and felt ready to move forward past the hurt, loss, abuse, and mistreatment I endured throughout my life. This journal was powerful, inspiring, motivating, and thought provoking. The artwork throughout the journal was stunning and the quotes were relatable. I highly recommend this journal for anyone looking to let go of past hurt and trauma.

Joy’s Christmas Escape By: P. Creeden This is a fantastic Historical Fiction novel focusing on a mail order bride. I definitely loved the character development and the depth that was given to Joy. Her story was truly amazing and she definitely was a character that won over my heart. The story of Marshall Jake was also fantastic. I definitely could not imagine myself being in Joys position. And to turn to a mail order bride service to find a husband or truthfully for a wife is such an interesting thought to me. However, this story really makes it all seem relatable. I definitely recommend this book and I will be reading more of this series. This is really an amazing historical novel and I highly recommend it!

This is the type of book that really sucks you in from the first sentence and really keeps you engaged throughout. This book takes place during the San Francisco Gold Rush. This book has romance elements, however, the real plot movement is in Elena seeking revenge for the death of her little brother. She will give up anything to get her revenge. When she finds out who it is, it turns out it is someone who has always wanted to be with her. This allows her to really seek her revenge and find a plan that may actually work. She seeks him out to exact her revenge, however her plan doesn’t go as she expected and so very many twists and turns during the story. This was honestly such a fantastic historical fiction novel. It reads as a standalone but it is part of a series. I definitely will be going back to read the first well. Pamela Gibson has really written an engaging story with fantastic characters. I highly recommend it!
Lost and Found is the ninth book in the Logan McKenna Mystery/Thriller series and can be read as a standalone, although I do recommend reading the previous books just for character development. From birds of prey in the last book, to the crabbing industry in this one, Logan gets her hands in all sorts of things. If you think life has become normal for this strong headed woman, think again….murder seems to follow Logan and this time is no exception. When the suspect turns out to be a friend, she knows she has to help prove their innocence. But, are they innocent?? Who can shee trust? If you have read any of the previous books, you know that Logan McKenna will get the answers and she will not back down until the right person is caught. But can she do that before the killer stops her? I found alot of enjoyment reading this nine book series so far, and I do hope the Logan McKenna series continues. Reviewed by @zoltrixes

This book was honestly really good. This focuses on two people who met the person who is your true love when you were a young child / teenager. But it isn’t enough for them to meet once, they kept meeting over and over again. But not only is there this, it has a focus on a multicultural romance. This leads to much of the story line – there are cultural differences, racism and tension stemming from all that. However, the two main characters find their way back to one another. This book does focus on the importance of clear communication. These two lost a lot of time together because of miscommunication. I definitely recommend reading this story! It is sooooo very good!

Logan McKenna is back again in book eight of the series. All of the series can be read as stand alone books, but it does help with background character building to read them all in order. The story itself is not affected by reading the books solo. In Plain Sight brings us back into Logan McKenna’s ever busy life and things seem to be going well for her. She decides to volunteer at a wildlife rescue center, helping wild birds of prey. Her life can not get any better…until a coworker is found murdered. This one is a little different. There is no evidence, or even a sign that a murder took place other than the body. Law enforcement are stumped so Logan, ofcourse, gets involved. This one may be my favorite in the series so far, I cant wait to read the next one in the Logan McKenna series.
Whisper Creek is the 7th installment in the Logan McKenna series and she’s found trouble….and murder…once again. Logan has gone viral with her voilin compositions, her confidence is booming, and her long time boyfriend has finally proposed. Life is perfect. That is, until a woman no one likes turns up dead. The local law enforcement have it all figured out, except Logan is sure they have it all wrong. As always with Logan McKenna, she has to get involved and help solve the murder, and take the suspicion off of her friend. This woman is a magnet for trouble but she knows how to get out of it too. I like that we are in book seven and the story is still fresh but it IS becoming a bit predictable with her always being involved or getting a friend off. Overall, I still love the series so far.

Whilst the positive affirmations help keep you in the present, and look forward to and work towards a brighter future. This journal really does help you “unfurl the happy petals within your heart”, and I was definitely taken on an inspirational and liberating journey, “to self-love, self-worth, and self-healing”. The book it’s self is lovely and I enjoyed picking it up each day and journaling in it. I found the activities thought provoking and I particularly liked reading the affirmations. A self-help book/journal which really does help!

First I highly recommend you start this series at the beginning with Book 1. This story has so much more than I expected. I enjoy reading the series from this author. This is a fantasy that will take you places in your mind. Ian Troy was trapped in a prison set by the King. Everything he knows has been taken from him. He endured beating, drugs and even his memories were taken. They also took his magic. So sad and yet so worth reading, and listening to. After getting rescued he now has to find himself. What will he remember? Can he take his life back? This story is well written and a page turner for sure. Hop onto this rollercoaster of emotions and enjoy the ride. I refuse to give you spoilers. This is one story you will have read to believe. I am excited to dive into book 3.
