Dark is the Wood” is an enthralling young adult fantasy romance novel that weaves together the enemies-to-lovers trope with enchanting elements inspired by Little Red Riding Hood and Beauty and the Beast, alongside the presence of majestic dragons. The protagonist, Gillian, embarks on a daring odyssey into the Shadowlands in a valiant effort to rescue her younger brother. The narrative unfolds in a hauntingly beautiful and perilous realm inhabited by captivating yet dangerous creatures, among them the enigmatic Coven.
