My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Miss Georgiana Darcy is a young woman of very quiet temperament who is besotted with her family, especially her nieces and nephews and seeing them all so happily married and settled with children has given her the same dream and now she is ready to ask for it.

Once the subject is broached with her brother, a house party is arranged where family, friends and possible suitors are invited to make merry with the debutante and whittle down the prospective young men, however there is one thing which Miss Darcy is anxious of.

When the choices are narrowed down, will Miss Georgiana be able to find the courage to accept someone after what befell her at the hands of the dastardly Mr Wickham, or will she remain the wallflower she has become because of it? This is a charming and sweet historical romance of hopes, dreams and emotions with a little gently steamy content at the end for those who wish to indulge in the spicier aspects of life.
