Vantage Point, book 4 in the Gray Ghost Novel series, by Amy McKinley, follows my favorite character, Hawk. When it comes it missions, he is ruthless and will stop at nothing to get job done but when it comes to his love life, he always plays on the safe side of things. Stella, his neighbor is being thrown into world of searching for her families’ treasure. One night, Hawk hears a fight with Stella and instantly he is worried for her safety. Hawk, knowing he can keep her safe, does what he needs to do. Lies, enemies, and secrets follow these two, but will these two find a happy ending?

I grow to love each Gray Ghost novel but Hawk, there is something about him. I could close my eyes while reading and picture him on his job, I could picture him caring for Stella. I love Amy McKinley’s attention to detail and a way that the story just drags me in and doesn’t let me go. Another great read in an amazing series! FIVE STARS!!

This story enthralled me. I couldnt put it down nor stop thinking about it. It has a dystopian setting and forbidden love. A good combination. I seriously read faster and faster just waiting for the ax to fall. Assuming it would but never really knowing. All I want Is these two star crossed lovers to have a happy ending but it’s so impossible. Arg!!! Frustration!!

My thoughts and emotions ran a gambit while reading. Hope, irritation, scared, love/hate, frustration, and elation and anger are just to name a few. They were for the characters, the world and the situation. Speaking of characters they were all wonderful. Using terms like “lion” to describe the Sufferer really helped me to get a quick idea of his looks and disposition. The friendship between the girls was fun as well as her lovely family. Even the far off secondary characters added some insight and helpfulness. I need to mention them because even though they had little parts the author made their impact large.

This is a wonderful start for a debut book. The author created a world that makes you want to know about it. She invites you in and then dazzles you with characters you can hope for, dialogue you can *sigh* at an intricate society that engages your brain. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes dystopian stories with characters you can love.

I eagerly look forward to the next but sad it’s so far away….

Knights Who Won My Heart: Knights Series, Book 4 by Sonya Jesus. This is the fourth book in the Knights Series and also the fourth book by this author that I have read. All I can really say is….. WOW!!! I found myself wanting to turn the pages before I was even done reading, just to see what would come next. I fell in love with Amelia’s character. There were plenty of twists and turns, romance, and plot twists to keep you intrigued. I can not wait to see what this author has in store for us next. If you haven’t read the previous books in this series, I recommend that you do, just to be on top of all of the characters. ENJOY!!!!!

The story Little Miss Eyes of Blue by Holly Tierney-Bedord is a book that I enjoyed reading. It is the prequel to The Woman America Loves a Latte. I loved reading more about Veloura and her life experiences. She is an interesting and intriguing character who I found myself caring about with each chapter that I read. As you read her story she interacts with many additional characters. They all have their part to play and I found them interesting to read about and how they have an effect on her life. There are both times that I had a smile on my face and others when I felt sad or empathetic for Veloura. She is someone whose life experiences have her at times keeping up her guard. This is a story that draws you in and I found myself not wanting to put it down until I had read the final page. It is a book I would recommend reading.

Where can I find a Noah?! He’s seriously the perfect man! Too bad he exists in this book that is definitely a must read! Back in the Ring is the 4th book in the Predator Series by Brooke May. It is a part of a series but can be read as a standalone. I have not read the first 3 but after reading this book I’m more than definitely going back to read them! Bijou had lost her husband 8 years ago and runs a youth center in her small town in Georgia. Noah lost his wife to a tragic accident a year ago and moved to the same town as Bijou. However, Noah is also a World Heavy Weight Champion Boxer and so was his wife. Both Bijou and Noah know what its like to lose someone that they truly loved. They both have children, which become their common ground and with the help of Bijou’s crazy best friend these two unite and learn what it’s like to love again. I loved all the characters in this book and I seriously cannot wait to read the other books and any books to come in this series!

What a fantastic edition to this already beloved series! It checks off so many boxes for me – strong male main character, military, romance. The author does a great job continuing to develop this world. This book can stand alone but is more appreciated read in context of the series as a whole. The plot has a steady pace and the characters were relatable. I was immediately drawn in and felt myself slipping very easily into this world once again. Love this book, this series, and this author. Highly recommended.

Vantage Point is another great book in the Gray Ghost Series and I honestly think they just keep getting better and better. The MC’s in this one are Hawk and Stella. I love these two!! There is a lot of chemistry between them and I love the banter between the characters. This book has it all.. hot next door neighbor, bone head brother & loan sharks. This was one of those stories that quickly grabbed my attention and kept me interested and on the edge of my seat the whole time. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I would recommend this to a friend!

The characters are strong, well developed, and relatable. The story has clear direction and I loved the sneak peek at the end. Lost in Love (The Miss Apple Pants series Book 2) by Charlotte Roth is a fun and sweet story. We once again meet up with the quirky and loveable Jensen family. It is a fun read as we go on an adventure around the world. One in the hopes of finding someone and another Mrs Rock who is going with them in the hopes of reliving old times. It is a beautiful story that often had me laughing out loud at the antics and I felt right at home with them.

Charlotte never disappoints with her unusual stories and quick wit. They are easy read and to enjoy and always leave you feeling light. Grab a drink settle in and enjoy a few hours of fun.

Age of Saints is the 7th book in the standalone Druid’s Brooch series by Christy Nicholas. The author continues to impress me with the depth
of her storytelling and the vivid imagery she paints.
This is a fantastic fantasy series I’ve found myself lost in, with characters that are deep and relatable. I have enjoyed every book I’ve read in the series thus far, but there was something about Age of Saints that I loved to the point where I would venture to say it’s my favorite! If you’re looking for a great book series that transports you to another place and time then I honestly can’t recommend the Druid’s Brooch Series or Age of Saints enough.

Back in the Ring (The Predator Series Book 4) by Brooke May ​is another wonderful story in this series and is a second chance romance. This beautiful story is filled with lots of emotion that will break your heart but will also make you smile. There are new beginnings for our beautiful characters as they both deal with the loss of their partners. Brooke excels at this type of writing and is able to inject so much emotion, wonder and lets not forget the added bonus of a little steam and sizzle and of course the best friend who is an absolute joy and had me laughing at her antics.

Bijou is struggling to keep the youth centre her husbands dream going and support her teenage daughter, but she doesn’t know how she will be able to keep it going unless things change.

Noah Stone is struggling with the loss of his wife and being a single father to a two year old son. His only way to start to heal was moving to a small town and on beautiful woman. But when his past catches up with him will all he has built come crashing down?

This story was such a delight to read that I was disappointed when it ended. I wanted more.

Seraphina’s Revolution is the final book of this series. It cannot be read as a standalone. Seraphina faces her biggest challenge yet in this novel. I loved following the fast paced storyline. I also enjoyed Seraphina’s character. I am amazed at how much her character continued to mature. She is constantly changing throughout this series and I love who she finally becomes. There were also many new characters introduced in this final book. They really helped provide the storyline with a new kick. I am sad that this book is the end of this series but I know it is one I will be reading again.

Yearning Young (Burning Britely Book 2) by Deidre Huesmann was sweet, emotional read, that punches you right in the feels.

The second book in the Burning Britely series, we are once again taken on a raw emotional ride of two teens just trying to figure out this stupid thing called love. But being as they are a gay couple, it makes it all the more complicated and for one party, confusing.

Picking up almost where the last book left off, we are greeted by Braeden’s POV, and it was a nice change up. He was a character I wanted to know more about, and I got what I wanted and more. This book was just as sweet as the first, but it held more raw emotions, more realistic struggles, and of course Braeden’s struggle with his sexuality. God, I was a mess while reading this, and I really wanted to smack him. My heart is a fluffy mess, and I really hope there is another book. These two are by far my favorite couple of the year. I need to know more, and I want to know it they make it..

Overall this book is a must read, and I can’t praise it enough. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will be an emotional mess like me once you are done.

North to Nara (Crimson Sash, #1) by Amanda Marin was a hooking, original read that, was full of passion, and told the tale of two star crossed lovers and their fight against the odds.

This debut novel was truly something, as a lover of dystopian type books, I always love how each author develops the world and how they see it, if something were to happen to our way of life. This one wasn’t as loud, you could say, as some other dystopian books. The world that this is book is set in seems pretty comfortable, and at peace. So this story isn’t about one girl toppling an empire, no, it’s about a forbidden love, and the their choice to put love before Nation.

The only thing that bothered me about this book, was the pockets of info dumping, and I hate to say it cause I really enjoyed this book, but it did fall into this trend of the first book being a “setup book”. A complex world like this should have been present at the beginning, with some back story, or a prologue, to help with the worldbuilding. Especially when this world is not at war and is in a pretty tame and civil state.

Now the two MC’s, love them to bits. Micah really stole the show. Yes Neve is the main MC, but hell, Micah was written so well, and so full of emotions that I couldn’t help but fall for him. I would have like to see the world from his POV, I think that would have added that extra layer to not only help with the characters development, but with world building.

That middle to ending though, for a book that started out all sweet and heart melty, it sure kicked up into high gear. I was on the edge of my seat, and flipping the pages like a mad person. Man oh man, talk about going from 0-60. And that sneak peek at the end.. way to tease a girl.. I need the next book now!

Overall this book gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.

Okay, I thought the last Gray Ghost book was my favorite, but no. Vantage Point is the best one yet! Hawk is the quiet one of the bunch and becomes concerned about all the fighting he hears in his neighbors apartment. His neighbor, Stella, and her brother are constantly fighting over his gambling issues. Hawk’s instincts are correct as Stella is swept up in her brother’s latest. There is suspense, action, a feisty strong female lead and a hot alpha male. This book was just so good!!! I read it in one sitting. I’m hoping Keegan’s story is next!

Amy McKinley’s Vantage Point is the fourth book of the Gray Ghost series. This military romantic suspense does not disappoint. Each book within this story can be read separately, but by reading them as part of the series it adds additional background and depth overall. In Vantage Point, Hawk is now the hero waiting on the sidelines with Stella as the heroine who has strong values and opinions. These two may seem like oil and vinegar, but there is full-fledged chemistry waiting to burst at the most opportune moment. Danger is lurking and as it’s unleashed, limits will be tested. This story kept me engaged throughout. Amy McKinley is a fantastic author in this genre!

Misfortune of Song by Christy Nicholas is the fifth book in the Druid’s Brooch Series. This book can be read as a standalone and understood completely and enjoyed. This book is set in 12th century Ireland. Maelan is the head of his family and must look after them and assure that they make the best decisions. His granddaughter Orlagh is determined to not follow him and makes his life chaos. Can he keep everything together and protect his granddaughter?
This is my second read in this series and I am hooked. I enjoy both genres of historical and fantasy and this incorporates both well. The characters are well written and challenged in their lives. I can not help but get emotional at some of the things the author puts them through. I like the story and how it intertwines with the other books but is not essential to have the other stories to enjoy the individual book. I look forward to reading more in this series.

Love on the Line, by Laurie Lewis, is the sequel to Love on a Limb. This contemporary Christian romance continues Matt and Mikaela’s story. The author has a way with words in which they were so real along with the main characters. This beautiful story (and series) holds a strong message within it – so rich with faith, devotion, challenges, etc. Nothing in life ever bodes easily, there will always be trials and tribulations – how we respond to those and handle the situations determines whether a relationship can flourish or fail despite the best of intentions. Continuing with the emotional journey in this story, Laurie Lewis has showcased a remarkable couple who were captivating throughout the story – while the emotions ran high. Beautifully written, even during the story lows.

If the Shoe Fits was a good 4 star read and book three in The Liberty Lawrence Series.
This is a fun series that pulls you right in.

Liberty finds out that she will be working in the Woman Matters fashion section at her job. She is so excited and while waiting for an elevator to go to her new work area she ends up riding with a couple of women who seem to be looking down on her.

When Liberty meets her new boss she is shocked to see it’s one of the women and she’s not very nice, in fact she is terribly mean. Will Liberty get past her mean boss and enjoy her new job and make a career of it?

Overall this is a fun read with some mystery. Liberty discovers some interesting things about the clothing line that she is currently working with. She gets herself into trouble when she gets the attention of the bad guy. Can she solve the mystery before it’s too late? The secondary characters added a great element to the story as well. Liberty gave me some lol moments as well. If you’re looking for a fun read this is the series for you.

Libby gets a dream job position with a fashion section but her boss is definitely not a dream boss,she’s not the nicest person. I love libby’s character her mouth tends to get her into trouble saying the wrong thing at the wrong time Find out what happens when a look alike hoodie from the collection could have been used in a crime.There are a few twists and turns .I highly recommend this book and if you haven’t read the first two books I recommend reading them as well.

This is a fitting end to the series. It’s is full of action, suspense and some crazy angel fun. At times it was a bit slow in the beginning but once we got half way it really got down to business. The story is the final battle between good and evil. Each trying to turn the other to their side. We see a lot of the same characters from the series and meet a few new ones. While I liked the newer characters it is the older ones are that kept me going. Seraphina, Nate and Jack have a love triangle that has expired for all but one of them. There is a lot of back and forth like a tug o war. But I still like and think of them back in the first book so it’s hard for me to dislike one of them now. I still root for Nate but Jack…you have that great smile and those glorious eyes.

I would highly recommend reading the series in order. There are many references made to previous book. Plus you get to see the characters grow and change as the story moves forward. This isn’t my favorite of the series. It is still a good and needed story to round everything out.

Her characters are fun and believable. I could see myself hanging out with Catherine talking about what is happening and how to solve the mystery. This story has all the making of an fun mystery, romance, secrets, and paranormal characters that keep you going the whole time. Catherine is the main character who moves to Las Vegas to begin a Talent Agency. Catherine has found herself with actresses that have been murdered.In comes Alex who comes in to help Catherine with the mysteries. Alex reveals a paranormal world in which Catherine was not aware of this world. Will Catherine find out what is happening? Will Alex save Catherine and the agency?

This is Hawks story and it’s a good one. Hawk is always the quiet one of the group, the watcher, until he gets involved in his neighbors business, and then the story really begins. Stella is entertaining and when her and Hawk are around each other sparks fly. Vantage Point has a little of it all the action, adventure, and chemistry, it’s another great addition to the series.

Conall and Lainn deserve peace! This sibling duo has been through the ringer and most of it not their fault. Conall promised his father he would protect his baby sister with all that he is and what big brother wouldn’t? BUT there isn’t a whole lot you can do with an absolute expletive of an abusive step father and powerful fae out to get you basically just because.
I feel for Conall so much. He loves his sister and wants the best for her. Every decision he makes goes from bad to how could this possibly get any worse…. oh that’s how it could get worse. The only thing I didn’t like in this book was that the ending seemed kind of blah. It wasn’t exactly a cliffhanger but I’m hoping there will be more about these two in the next book. Can’t wait!

North to Nara by Amanda Marin is the first book in the Crimson Sash series. This is a unique and interesting YA novel that everyone should try.
This story isn’t like one I have read before. The idea of having our emotions taken away to enable us to continue is intriguing if a little scary. The author does a great job of creating this world where everything appears to be perfect and yet hidden away are plenty of dark secrets.
This was a new author for me and I really enjoyed her writing style. It was engaging and knew how to keep the story going. This was a brilliant book and one I would recommend.

Love on the Line by Laurie Lewis is the second book in the Great Expectations Love Stories: The Graykens. This book is as emotional and heart wrenching as the first book. There is something about these characters that completely draws you in and holds you captive.
The story was told so gracefully over both of the books. It definitely took me by surprised from the moment I picked up the first book but I can definitely say I am glad I have this series a go!
