Reckless: A Steamy Contemporary Romance Anthology by Mika Jolie, Kylie Stewart, P.M. Carson and Sharla Lovelace was exactly as advertised. There were some pretty steamy moments along with moments that made you laugh, gasp and flip the page quickly to see what happens next.
Layla’s Chance by Mika Jolie is the first book in the anthology. Layla and Chance start off with major sparks between them and it doesn’t let up the entire time these together. I think most women in their thirties and forties have thought about the young hot musician, Layla actually gets him. I loved how her stories are all connected in some way and will be reading more from her.
Into The Deep by Kylie Stewart grabbed me from the very beginning of the story. I don’t know what is was about Gemma and Grayson’s story that grabbed me but it did. I think the moment on the table at his house had me fanning myself.
Dirty Martinis and the Spy Who Kissed me were also great books. I found myself getting mad at Rachel in Dirty Martinis and on the edge of my seat in Spy Who Kissed Me.

A Frothy Christmas Kiss is the 4th book in the Christmas Kiss series by Allyson Abbott. It is a holiday romance about two people being brought together by coffee and falling in love. It is a great quick little read, and is perfect to knock out on a cold day, bundled on the couch. Or was that just me… Regardless, I recommend it, as its a cute story about Kat and Dan. Kat has moved to a new city, and loves trying new places. One day she finds an adorable little coffee shop, with the best scents, and menu board. Even better is the cute barista, who turns out to be the owner and creator of the most wonderful coffee blends. Both have instant attraction and are drawn to each other. A huge misunderstanding leads to a lot of wasted time and awkward moments. The best part of this story though, is the cat! Full of so much personality, and a expert matchmaker.

A Second Chance (Powder River Pack book 1) by Brooke May 4 stars
This is my first read by this author and I love a good shifter book. While this one didn’t focus on the shifting part, it was still there and very interesting as they weren’t the “average” werewolves!
What would you do if your mate moved away and you lost the other half of yourself? That’s what Derek is feeling for years now after Annabelle left with her mom. Hes lost the voice of his wolf, and the happiness he once felt. When she comes back to town for her father, he is eager to get his questions answered but doesn’t expect her to have the same ones. As they get answers, they learn the past wasn’t what they thought it was.
I highly recommend this book, was a very fast paced and quick read. Hope to read more of this pack.

Beats of the Heart was a great 5 star read and book one in the Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star series. I LOVED this book and Izzy and Dawson are my new favorite couple.
Izzy is excited to be joining her boyfriend on tour. She wants nothing more than to be in his arms. Dawson is the lead singer of his band and they are at the top of the charts right now with a successful tour.
When Izzy joins Dawson for a few days, they have to keep their relationship undercover. When pictures start to come out in the tabloids Dawson starts to get heat from the label. He has to start spending time out in the clubs with his band and try and look single. That’s what draws the female fans in, ugh! Izzy tries very hard to understand the situation and supports Dawson as much as she can.
Shattered bulbs can’t give off light. A broken clock can’t measure time. A shattered mirror can’t reflect the truth. A broken car can’t get from point A to point B. How does a broken, shattered heart still beat? Why is it still expected to keep us alive?
After Izzy returns home there is a HUGE twist that throws everything off. My heart was twisted all up in my chest and I was teary eyed trying to read the words. And the ending, WHY did you have to end it on a cliffhanger? I need book two now so I can see what’s coming next. This book has prompted me to create a new folder in Goodreads – Must read series/book. This is my first read from Charli B. Rose and I can’t wait to read more, I was pulled right in and the connection between Izzy and Dawson was page melting. I am on the edge waiting for book two, Notes of the Heart. This is a must read series for sure.

Reckless: A Steamy Contemporary Romance Anthology was as the title says, romantic, steamy and chalked full of mushy good feels.
A collection of four unique stories that tell the tales of finding love, connections and not giving up. Each story has its own take on love, from an older woman, to online dating, older man and woman to a kick as ending book that envoles spys. This anthology surly has it all, and I believe there is a story for everyone.
Okay I’m going to get it off my chest, as much as I like the other three stories, the last one, is a fav. It may or may not have something to do with it having spies. It was so fun right out of the gate, and packed full of action as well as romance. I do hope they get their own full length series, cause that would be epic.
As I said this anthology has a little bit of everything, lots of variety, and as each story closes and you move onto the next there is a distance separation. Each story has its own tone, writing style and voice. They didn’t bleed together, and as a whole each story can stand on and be sold on its own. Each character has their own quirks and special traits that made them noticeable and memorable, again, clearly showcasing each authors talent to pull in new readers; because I will be checking out more books by each.
Overall this anthology was a fun, hot, light hearted read that drew me in, kept me in, and succeeded in making me a fan of these authors. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will have a time reading this anthology and maybe developed some new author crushes.
This coming of age story kept me engaged from beginning to end. I enjoyed the plot and characters and felt the author did a thorough job establishing each piece in rich detail. This story is one of discovery. This emotional roller coaster ride did a noteworthy job tackling tough and relatable YA subjects that included bullying. This book and its subject felt very real, very true, and highly relatable, no matter the reader’s stage of life. I highly recommend reading this book.

A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson Abbott is a fun Christmas story. It is fun loving story about Billie and Leroy from small town USA. Billie hears the lights from New York City. Leroy stays behind. Billie goes home to help her family out. She runs into Leroy. Will destiny put them together again or will reality keep them apart.
One thing I really like about Allyson Abbott is that her series Christmas Kiss is that it is what you read is the story. There is not an underlying cause to pop up from nothing and make the story serious. This is just small-town love story. There are times when you will be laughing, crying, and cheering all in one. This is a simple quick read. For me this is exactly what the doctor ordered this holiday season.

The Confectioners Truth by Claire Luana is the third book in the Confectioner Chronicles. This book is the epic conclusion to an amazing series. I would highly recommend reading these in order as they won’t make much sense if you don’t. Wren and her allies are on the run and facing a new a greater enemy. Will they be able to triumph? This series has honestly got better and better with each book. I could never wait to see what would happen next. I loved jumping back into Wren’s adventure with each new story in the series. As always with this author the book was well written and utterly captivating. The way she draws you in and keeps you engaged so effortlessly through the whole series is addictive. Whenever I pick up a book of hers I know to set aside a chunk of time as I won’t be able to put it down. I cannot recommend this book and series enough.

Snatching Dianna by Seelie Kay is the first book in the Fiesty Lawyers series. This is a fast paced and intriguing tale of a young girl who may have been taken as part of a Slavs trafficking cartel and one law professors race against time to try and save her/m. This is an entirely new author for me and I found her writing style to be gripping. I wasn’t overly sure from the blurb that I would be able to get into this book however I found myself hooked quickly. The author easily juggles the dark side of this book with the fun and entertaining side she brings to it. From what I can gather you are introduced to these characters in a different story however I never felt like I was missing out from having not read it. A great book I thoroughly enjoyed.

A Pink Christmas Kiss By Allyson R. Abbott Rated 5 stars!
OMGosh! I love this story! There are so many thing I enjoyed while reading this. First off Billie being a mechanic was my favorite thing. It’s not too often we read about a girl who can handle a garage. This girl completely rocked it. Her love of cars was very evident in every look or word uttered about them. Second was the Deuce Coup. What a great way to tie the past and present as well as the characters of the story. The secondary characters (parents, best friend and old schoolmates) were enjoyable and all served their purpose and didn’t seem to overstep.
This is my favorite book in this series so far. I loved the Pink, the car and the two main characters. All so sweet with a little struggle. This book gave me some wonderful feelings while reading. I enjoyed the characters and the writing drew me in and kept me interested. Thoroughly enjoyable story about second chances. I highly recommend this one!

I love, love, LOVED this anthology; all four novellas were fantastic reads. I already adore one of the authors featured in this collection so I was super excited to read something new form her but the other three were new to me so I was looking forward to reading their work too. I think it’s safe to say I have found another three new authors to love and I definitely want to read more of their stories. Layla’s Chance by Mika Jolie was such a wonderful read and a great story to kick of this anthology. I loved Layla and Chance – oh my gosh he was so hot!!! As always this author completely captivated me by her amazing writing and characters. I forgot that I was reading a novella at times because of how full the story was, I actually didn’t want it to end I was so wrapped up in Layla and Chance’s story! Dirty Martinis by P.M. Carson was another great read. I loved reading Rachel and Drew’s story and with a lot of people meeting via online dating now I thought that this was a story that felt real to life and I could imagine the story unfolding the way it did in real life. Into the Deep by Kylie Stewart was a fun read and one that I thoroughly enjoyed. There were some really good and unexpected twists and turns that constantly had me guessing what was going to happen. I loved Grayson and Gemma and together I really did think that they made the perfect couple! The Spy Who Kissed Me by Sharla Lovelace was a really great read. I loved that although similar in character to the main in Layla’s Chance it was completely different. I loved the humour in this story and it certainly made me laugh a few times. Overall a fantastic 5 star anthology that I would highly recommend!

“Her soot-covered body blends perfectly with the charredscape, hiding her tough bark-like skin against the wicked wreckage. Her kind walks and talks like humans do, only with a particularly distinguishing characteristic—delicate feathers that sprout from her body instead of hair. Though she has no way of hiding her violet eyes, her soft silver feathers blend nicely with her dark disguise. This feature gives the feathered-folk an almost symphonic sound when a breeze travels through the forest, like a meadow of foxtails brushing up against each other on a spring afternoon, although Lara has never known the swishing sound or the feeling it evokes. It died alongside the trees when the forest lost its breath. Her people used to believe that the wind would cleanse the nightmares that tainted their souls. However, her master says that the wind never took away the fears, but rather, brought everyone else’s to them to play out its cruelty. Lara doesn’t know what to believe, but in either case, the breeze no longer blows here since the leaves stopped growing to cheer on its presence with their rustling applause. Movements are difficult to hide in a place so still. Like hearing moaning in a graveyard, it puts you on edge. If it weren’t for the sun’s crusade in the sky, one might think that time had perished alongside everything else.”
The Progeny Assassin is A Tarnished Lands Story and the second book in the Forgotten Woods Series By P.A Wikoff. This is another interesting and original fantasy full of action, adventure, drama, unique creatures/beings, magic, some violence, drama, despair, discoveries, darkness & light, renewal, hope, and much more. As with the first book, this story has a bit of dark tone to it, giving it the feel of an epic D & D story/game. But mostly this it is a story of revelations & self-discovery and how Lara finds her true purpose in the Tarnished Lands. This is my favourite of the series, so far. I was hooked right from the beginning and didn’t put it down until I’d read every word! As with the first book, this is vividly descriptive, and intricately detailed- which brings this fantastical tale and world into ‘being’. A worthy addition to this wonderful series. So, if you love swords and sorcery, D & D, original and intriguing fantasy, and quirky/unique characters- then this book should be on your TBR. Bring on Book #3, “The Mad Wizard”!

4 stand-alone stories. 4 authors I’d never previously read. Taking a risk? Yes. A risk worth taking? Yes Reckless is an anthology of 4 novellas all about taking a risk and acting a bit reckless in life. All 4 are very different stories and I loved them all. A brilliant introduction to 4 brand new authors. Layla’s Chance by Mika Jolie tells us the story of Layla who is disillusioned with life and heads to Martha’s Vineyard to spend her 40th birthday alone. There she meets the much younger Chance, famous rock star and they instantly hit it off. In this story we go through Layla’s journey as she fights with herself over to do what’s sensible and what her heart wants. Dirty Martinis by P. M. Carson tells us the story of Drew and Rachel who had been carrying out a torrid online love affair and finally meet in person. Will sparks fly in real life as they had online? Into The Deep by Kylie Stewart tells us the story of Gemma and Grayson. When Gemma moves back home after a failed marriage she meets Grayson (who she had a crush on back in school) when she views his house. This story has the added bonus of some light BDSM. The Spy Who Kissed Me by Sharla Lovelace is a romantic suspense story. Ava is a lawyer working for a crooked boss, Dominic is an ex spy who is trying to bring him down. This brings them together with explosive results.

This book can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest reading the first book, a must read series! I love how this author takes me on a magical adventure that is creative and engaging. The characters are creative and they pulled me into their magical world and made me feel as if I was right there with them. Lara has been protecting what is left of the dying land. What will happen when her master turns up missing and she gets the adventure that she wasn’t expecting? A must read!

The Something Series Box Set contains the first three books in the brilliant “Something Series by Aubrey Bondurant. I adore this series soooo much and can’t recommend these books highly enough. They are superbly written and are so easy to connect with the characters, who draw you in and have you investing in them and their stories within the first few chapters. This box set is a great way to introduce yourself to Ms. Bondurant’s work- and represents great value for money too…. Three books for the price of one #bargain! The Box Set contains:
Tell Me Something Tell me Something is the first book in the Something series, and it’s a superb contemporary/ Office romance. Haylee Holloway has a heart full of grief, having lost both her parents in the space of five years, has left her not wanting to form attachments to anyone as she fears that they would eventually leave. Happiness is a fleeting thing and she won’t subject herself to that kind of pain, again. The incredibly smart twenty-two year old is saving up to attend law school in the Fall, and in the meantime, to help make ends meet she has taken on a job as an assistant at an advertising company. While on a shoot for a very important client, there is an issue with one of the models, so Haylee steps in so the whole shoot isn’t jeopardised. And if she didn’t feel awkward enough, the sexy owner of the company decides to show up. She can’t seem to take her eyes off him. Josh Singer owns Gamble Advertising. He is broody, intense and smoulderingly hot. He is impressed by her loyalty, dedication, willingness to pitch in and can-do attitude; not to mention her natural beauty. He is quite taken with her. Josh makes her an offer she can’t refuse- become his assistant and move to New York City. It really is an offer she can’t refuse. Knowing that there is an expiration date to their arrangement, due to Haylee leaving for Law School in the fall- they come to a mutually beneficial agreement. But Haylee has issues that affect her ability to fully embrace a relationship and Josh has trust and commitment difficulties. Things he has yet to tell Haylee. Can they put aside their insecurities and embrace what they could have together, or will they let fear dictate their future? I am really impressed with Ms. Bondurant’s vivid, emotive and descriptive writing style. This book is a real page turner; I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the story and knew what had become of Josh and Haylee. The engrossing nature of the story is entirely due to the authors writing talents. It was heartbreaking and emotional in places, but it also had funny moments; and times I had my heart in my mouth. Then there is the angst, it was so real, I felt it. The author touched on a few sensitive topics, but did so considerately and respectfully. I did get a little frustrated with Josh and Haylee at times. But mostly, I was cheering them on from the sidelines- hoping that they would find a future in each other’s arms.
Ask Me Something Ask Me Something is the second book in the Something series. It is a contemporary, erotic, office romance- with a bit of a friends-to-lovers element to it.- When I said erotic earlier- I really do mean sizzling, nibbling your bottom lip, forget the outside world, drooling on your kindle, kind of erotic! Sasha Brooks is the Vice President of the New York branch of Gamble Advertising. She loves her career and has worked incredibly hard to get where she is today. Sasha can come across as cold and unapproachable, does a great R.B.F and has a reputation as a fierce business woman. Sometimes appearances can be deceiving. There are things she has hidden, secret she’s kept from the world, her colleagues and even her family. Brian Carpenter is the East Coast Regional Vice President for Gamble Advertising and Sasha’s boss. He is very easy going, charming and considerate. Working with Sasha isn’t always easy, but he wouldn’t expect it to be anything less- plus she is really good at her job. They have eight years of friendship behind them- a history of friendly and flirtatious comradery. They also have incredible chemistry. But being work colleagues, it is far less complicated and easier to just remain friends. Right? When one of them seems to be seeing someone else, will it be enough to get them to admit how they feel? Or is it too late? What happens when ALL the secrets are revealed? This book had me burning up the pages, soaking up every word- time seemed to stand still while I lost myself for a few hours in this captivating story. It is quite funny and there were quite a few laugh-out-loud moments- some of the banter and antics were just hilarious. The characters were wonderful; really well written and fully developed- with their own, individual traits. They grew from their experiences throughout the story and learned from their mistakes. They were realistically written, there was no sugar coating them- they were written with ‘warts and all’. That made the story that much more believable and allowed me to really connect to the characters and the story. This book is told from Sasha’s POV right the way through till the epilogue, which is from Brian’s POV. It’s a highly engrossing and very entertaining read!
Bet Me Something “Being able to stand on your own two feet, sometimes requires getting knocked off them completely”……. Bet Me Something is the third book in the Something series. I really have fallen in love with this series; Ms. Bondurant keeps setting the bar higher with each consecutive book and nails it every time. This book is the best of the bunch so far, and that’s really saying something considering how much I have loved them all. I began reading and was immediately captivated by the story- reading it in one sitting, because I couldn’t put it down. It is a contemporary, erotic, romantic comedy. McKenzie Lane (Kenzie) thought she had her life mapped out, at least for the foreseeable future. Having just graduated from college, she’s really excited to begin work the following week. Kenzie was the one applicant chosen from thousands for this internship and considers it a once-in-a-life-time opportunity. But instead, her controlling mother has other ideas and is bulldozing all Kenzie’s dreams. She has spent the past four years attending college in LA to get away from her mother, but also to be close to the guy she has been crushing on since the day she laid eyes on him, sixteen years earlier. Colby Singer owns a successful movie production company in LA, he is very sexy and charming- popular with the ladies, he has a reputation as a ‘Player’. He and Kenzie have been friends for years, he’s always liked her- but because of their nine year age difference and the fact that she is his best friend’s sister, he has her relegated to the ‘friend zone’. After Kenzie’s mother dropped the ‘bomb’, Colby was determined to get Kenzie’s mind off the stressful situation by taking her away for some fun. What he hoped would be a simple weekend of fun with a friend, was a lot more difficult than he had realised. Especially when Kenzie decides that this may be the only opportunity she will get, to determine if he could ever see her as more than just “his best friend’s baby sister”. It’s at this point where the story got really interesting- but no spoilers from me, you really should read it and discover all the captivating details for yourself…. You won’t be disappointed. read it to find out what happens……… Ms. Bondurant has a wonderful way with words, she doesn’t just write, she paints a picture with her words. She lovingly crafts her plot and the characters, giving intricately detailed descriptions in her scene setting and witty dialogue. There is a lot of humour in the way she writes and the story did have many hilarious moments. There were a couple of points through the story where I reached for the tissue box. There were some really touching and heart-warming moments in this delightful book. All the characters are really well developed, well written, likeable and entirely enchanting. I loved that they learned, grew and ‘matured’ as the story unfolded. At the beginning Kenzie was being walked all over by her mother, but by the end she was really standing up for herself. I loved her sarcastic sense of humour and her sassy attitude. Colby is just adorable- I found him so swoony; he’s fun, charming and sinfully sexy with his trademark PDG (panty dropping grin). They really steamed up the pages with their sexy antics. “…losing a bet to you has always turned out to be the very best thing to happen to me”…. Another wonderful addition to a seriously great series!
So, do yourself a favour and grab yourself a copy to read, you are sure to love them just as much as I have!

A Pink Christmas Kiss : Christmas kiss, Book 3 By Allyson R. Abbott ⅘ Stars
This is another heartwarming and sweet Christmas story by Allyson. I have enjoyed these romantic Christmas books tremendously!!! I just love reading these magical books, they’re full of hope, love and laughter…. I just can’t get enough !! Billie left her small town home, to spread her wings in New York City. Leaving behind the love of her life behind, Leroy. Years later, she finally returns home near the holidays to help her family and runs into Leroy. Will they be able to rekindle their romance once and for all?? I would love to live in a small town, where everyone knows everyone and everything going on. I kinda do now, actually… I love it!! I looooooove this story, my favorite of the series so far!! Sometimes, true love is worth waiting for! I can’t wait to see what happens in the fourth and final book in the series!! Another great job, Allyson!!
5 out of 5 stars A Frothy Christmas kiss written by Allyson R. Abbott is another great read. This book was a total joy to read with the great storyline and wonderful characters with their quirky ways which kept me totally enthralled until the very last page!!!! Who doesn’t like/love coffee? Kat meets Dan at his coffee shop, she allows herself the luxury of lusting after such a gorgeous man, than she learns he has to rush home to babysit. Not wanting to admit her eagerness, Kat now tries to backtrack, but can’t understand why Dan seems to be flirting with her. But things aren’t as they seem or are they? To make matters worse he just offers her, her dream job to work at the coffee shop. She has been fighting her feeling and she sees what a great relationship he has with Becky. Becky has a lot on her plate with starting a new job, lusting after her new boss, trying to please her father, and dealing with an ex-boyfriend she needs to find some strength. If this is enough she is now a foster owner of a cat, she didn’t want, named Brian. Will she have a happy Christmas or will Kat spend her first Christmas alone while she tries to keep the peace with everyone? I highly recommend this story… By Tracy @tracym

Degrees of Power ( A Prestian Series Book 4) by Via Mari. I LOVED this series and I’m so sad to see it end. This story wrapped everything up nicely from the others. It picks back up with Kat & Chase and their hot & heavy love for one another. Kat is coming to grips with the fact that in the bedroom she can be a totally different person from the strong, powerful businesswoman she is. She can let loose and she likes it making Chase so happy. They are still dealing with their fathers trying to capture Alfreita and all the dangers that come with it. He is still a huge threat to their safety. Kat must also deal with the repercussions of them still after him. In the end will she finally give her all to Chase and trust him completely? This is such a great series and I loved them all.

I love anthologies where I’m introduced to knew authors. Some I do know and love and some are new to me and have been added to my must read list.
Each one of these stories were captivating! Each story had a different troupe which I LOVED. There were no two the same. These authors gave you a little bit of a taste of everything. I loved the strong female character’s and the men that couldn’t resist them.
Each author has their own unique writing style and I love discovering them in this anthology. Each story will suck you in until the very end. They are the perfect fast reads and I completely devoured it in one sitting!

Leaving Jackson Wolf by P. A. Kane. This is a young adult book that is so emotional and good. Its the story of Jackson Wolf and James McDougal who are both bullied at school. They get suspended together and after James keeps at Jackson he gives in and they become great friends. They love bikes, girls and music and they learn about both together. They both have alcoholic fathers and they bond over that as well. As time goes on and they both grow in strength, Jackson begins to lose people in his life and he’s wondering if something is out to get him. He ends up facing his greatest loss ever and he doesn’t know if he can handle it and if its all worth it. This is a great coming of age story that a lot of people can relate to. I truly enjoyed this book.

The Moon in Her Eyes by Nikki Broadwell a fabulous four-star read. I have read this author previously and thoroughly enjoyed her work so was so excited to get my hands on this, I must admit I didn’t realise this was book two, and I will go back and read book one, but I didn’t feel like I missed anything, the story was full and detailed. The story is fast paced and the plot was detailed but not overly flowery, you felt like part of the story and your heart would race as you get so sucked into the story you can’t put it down.

Reckless: Anthology four- amazing five-star reads. I have read two of the authors before and adored reading them again, it made me want to pick them back up and go back though their novels again, the other two I enjoyed but not quite as much. I know that in these story’s you will find at least one that will be worth the price of the anthology for you, probably more if I’m honest. For me the stand out story was Mika Jolie Layla’s Chance, it could be as I’m a sucker for a music story line, or it could just be the writing.

The Debt Collector by India Kells. This was a great quick read, for me it was over pretty quick as the story oukked me in right away then you add Locke and Gages sexual exploits into the story along with Locke and Tessa’s. This story is a mixture of erotica, suspense and some romance to me. I liked Locke, he was a strong, dominating, alpha male but he still had the nice, caring side that came out on occasion. Tessa was a great character, she was a mixture of dominate and subordinate depending on what the situation called for. Overall the story was great, the imagry from the scenes was good a deal you wanted more the entire time.

This short sweet Christmas novel focuses on family and love. Callie gave up her childhood early when her mom left to help take care of her family. With it being Christmas time she struggles to keep the fact that she is soon to be unemployed from tainting the holiday. With her father not able to leave the home because of an illness it remains up to her to figure out how to take care of the family. She is an amazing and strong girl and knows the importance of family. They are her priority and I love how she focuses on providing the best for them. She is selfless and hardworking. I love the little bit of Christmas magic that occurs in this book. It was an extremely refreshing read that I sincerely enjoyed.

This is the first 3 books in this series, I love this series! Each story is about a different couple. Each one is looking for something better whether it be a new start to a dream job. What they find may not be what they are looking for, the men may be hot but they come with struggles. The chemistry with each one makes the story hot and steamy. The characters are true to life, I loved them. They made me feel part of their story. What does fate have instore for them? A must read series!

This author is fast becoming among my favorites. She has the ability to pull me into her story with ease from the beginning. Alex and Madison are great characters that suffer from love at first sight for each other. I must say their chemistry is off the charts. They are bound to be together but someone from the past has something different in mind for them. Is it possible to overcome the struggles life throws at them to be together? I highly recommend reading this book.

A Frothy Christmas Kiss by Allyson Abbott is the fourth book in the Christmas Kiss series. This is a fun, Christmas read centering on the story of Kat and Dan. Kat comes across a great, little coffee shop with a very, handsome owner. After the two get to know each other over their shared love of coffee will the sparks fly? The story is a quick read with a happily ever after ending. The two characters are well written and their story is sweet. I enjoy stories like this especially during these busy times of the year. This is a sweet, uplifting story that I enjoyed. This series can be read in any order because they are standalone. If you enjoy one you will enjoy all of them.

The Something Series – Box Set Books 1-3: (Tell Me Something, Ask Me Something & Bet Me Something) by Aubrey Bondurant
Tell Me Something is the first book in the series and is a great read!
Our main characters Haylee & Josh are from completely different backgrounds and lifestyles and they have both had more than their share of challenges, problems and heartbreak. When these two meet by chance, an opportunity Haylee can’t refuse is offered and the instant attraction leads to a sizzling connection that can’t be ignored. But will their issues become too much between them? Will they realise what they want before it tears them apart? Will Halyee survive the perceived betrayal or will Josh come to his senses before he looses her forever?
Ask Me Something is the second book in the series by and is a great read, even better than the first and that is saying something as I loved the first one!
In this story our main characters Sasha & Brian have worked together for years in the advertising industry and are the best of friends. When a promotion comes along she takes it but it means she has to move away and makes him her boss. Sasha may be a force to be reckoned with in the business world but on the inside she is fighting a secret she has never told anyone.
Brian is the complete opposite in that he is so laid back and easy going until he is in the bedroom, then things get to sizzling with this hot and sexy alpha male.
Bet Me Something is the third book in the series and it is every bit as good if not better than the others.
Kenzie and Colby are our main characters who have always been in each other’s lives as they grew up together. Colby and Kenzie who both are dealing with their own insecurities which are holding them back from having a fulfilling life. There were a few times I was mad with how they were treated and for how others treated them and for not standing up for themselves. But overall they are two beautifully smart, witty and intelligent people who you envy their easy going relationship, if only it could be more!
The secondary characters were just as entertaining as the main characters and had me laughing and crying right along with them. I love reading books by Aubrey, as I love her style of writing as it flows easily and the story lines she comes up with keep me hooked and fully invested and wanting to know more about the made for each other couples that I so adore.
There are so many wonderful characters that we have learned about in this series but there are still so many that we need to have their stories told. You will find yourself laughing and crying, holding your breath, heartbroken and jealous as you walk through the Something series world. There are many, many emotional twists and turns and insecurities that will have you biting your nails and hoping for the best. I absolutely love all the witty remarks and the easy banter between all these characters and their loyalty and friendships. When these men love they love hard and fast and set the sheets on fire.
I look forward as always to all future reads from Aubrey as she is one talented author.
