This book is three short stories in one. Each story is fast paced with a little bit of story and a whole lot of steaminess with BDSM and Dom/sub story lines. This was my first time ready this much erotica but I enjoyed it. I was able to read each story in one night and look forward to ready more from this author. If you like super steamy reads this book is for you. You won’t be disappointed.

Taste of Honey is a 3 story BDSM collection. All with varying degrees of erotica, spicy, romance, feistiness, and anything else you can think of. Each story is different, the common being a male dominant and female submissive. Which is typically what you find in these works of fiction. The Gift is a story about a woman who made the choice as soon as she ended up at the hotel room. Penelope didn’t realize what she was getting herself into with Mr. Deveroux. She felt shamed, humiliated, and at the same time didn’t understand why her body screamed for more. The dynamic between these two felt slow at the beginning. I had difficulty pushing through, but overall their story was enjoyable. The Commander’s Club was my favorite of the 3 stories! A woman end’s up entering a bdsm club to retrieve a friend/colleague that disappeared. Unfortunately her alias raises some red flags. Lucky for her, Dragon is there to guide her through her 6 days of training. An undercover FBI agent, Dragon is there to take down the operation and Courtney could be just the one who causes it to blow up in his face. This is one of my favorite authors! I’ve read quite a few of their books because they are able to craft such an engaging experience of a story. The way they can pull you in almost immediately and somehow hold your attention the entire way through is incredible. There is plenty of action, danger, romance, and steam within these pages. I enjoyed how the “alternate” lifestyle was written instead of making it taboo. There are definitely some twists and turns that took me by complete surprise as well. It’s an emotional rollercoaster even from the beginning with Nico’s poor beaten body. The setting is also absolutely perfect. I felt transported to L.A. in the 1800’s! If you enjoy historical romances with a beloved MMF trope, please don’t pass this up! You’ll love it and go back for more!
I had an expectation after reading the synopsis of each story and my expectations were met with each of the stories.
There were parts of Penelope and Vlad’s stories I liked, but of the three it was the one I felt was missing something. While enjoyable it was my least favorite.
Courtney and Dragon’s story had lots of hot moments and some danger thrown in. The chemistry the author was trying to create come through loud and clear. There is one scene in the second half that was probably one of the best I have read in a while.
Laura and Nick’s story definitely had a Pretty Woman vibe which I’m assuming was intentional. I was hooked on this particular story before I finished chapter 1.
Each of these ladies is sassy, strong and independent. They each let go of their inhibitions after a short time. Dom/sub relationships are based on trust of one another. While that trust wasn’t there in the beginning it was built and further strengthened the bond between each of the couples.
Hot and heavy love scenes are not for pearl clutches, but I think the average woman will enjoy them.

This is the second book in the London Detective Agency series, and I enjoyed it even more than the first! While you could possibly read this book without reading the previous one first, I highly recommend picking them up in order. Not only are they just magnificent and complement each other, but getting the background of each character is important in the grand scheme of things. James and Tessa are incredible characters and have been very well developed. The chemistry between the two of them leaps off of the pages! I won’t give anything away, but I will absolutely recommend this book repeatedly. If you enjoy a fantastically crafted romantic suspense story, please do yourself a favor and pick this book up!

Be My Little Baby is Book 2 in the London Detective Agency series and after reading the first book and absolutely loving it, I was excited to dive into this story featuring James. I highly recommend reading the books in orders as you get to know the characters and are captured in each of the stories. I loved the story-line, suspense, drama but also the sizzle and spark between James and Tessa that kept me turning the pages to see what happens next….
Tessa Lopez is a bakery business owner, building her business, but now becomes the target of stalker. When the police do not step in to help, she hires the newly famous PI James Moore. When James takes on Tessa’s case, he never expected for the instant connection to light a spark in him. When the threats toward Tessa become more evident…will James be able to find out whom Tessa’s stalker is before it is to late….. definitely read and find out…
This is a great story and I am looking forward to reading more from this author….

This was a cute who done it mystery finding the murder of a close friend’s brother to Emma. Emma and Jeremy go under cover. Posing as Emma’s friend Peggy, she enlists the help of all her friends and some family to catch a Killer/ con artist. Along the way they are surprised with more twists and who done-its that will leave you guessing who the real killer is.
I’m not new to bdsm. But I’m definitely new to Julie Castle. She is now my favorite erotica author. I like that this book is a 3 for 1. 3 short stories in 1. I highly recommend Taste of honey. I promise you won’t regret reading this series.

This book is educational about taking cats to the vet. It is written at a level that is simple to understand. It compares common human doctor visits to that of a visit to the vet. This comparing makes it even more understanding for young readers. The information provided is good to know for owning a pet cat. It does make me on equal footing knowing my own cats are troublesome to get into their create to go to the vet. I highly recommend this as a read for young kiddos with pets needing to go to the vet.

This is a series that I have enjoyed from the first book I picked up. It is a series that keeps getting better and better with each book.. I enjoy this author’s ability to pull me into her stories with her creative writing skills and her loveable characters. This book is no different. It is a well written, engaging, hard to put down story. Emma is back in another mystery and what happens is something you don’t want to miss. Emma and Jeremy are faced with new family responsibilities and an undercover investigation. Using their skills will they solve this mystery? Emma is my favorite character and I am always excited to see what case she finds herself mixed up with. They are connectable and relatable characters that bring the story to life. They are characters that make this story easy and entertaining to read. If you haven’t picked up this series I highly suggest you do, you won’t regret it. I enjoyed this book and I look forward to seeing what is next. I highly recommend this book.
This is a cute little picture book that young children will enjoy. It’s full of imagination and adventure. It has wonderful characters and is beautifully illustrated.

Finding Hope: A Small-Town Beach Romance Book 1 Erin Brockus
Before I get to the book review looked up St Croix, it looks as beautiful as the book describes. As for the water I do not think I have ever seen water so blue or pretty. 44 hours from Australia thinking in the future that might be doable lol. I loved the storyline of book one in this series. The main characters in this book are Hope and Alex. Both Hope and Alex have issues from the past which make it hard for them to even think about being in a relationship with anyone. Issues or not Alex makes for the perfect bbf lol. Hopes life seems to be predictable to others around her she is the only one that dos not see it until she walks into the coffee shop and barista Ashley calls out her usual coffee without her ordering it, this has her thinking that Sara and Kyle could be right. Hopes life is about to be turned upside down when her boyfriend Kyle takes her to her favourite restaurant only to break up with her. To add insult to injury the promotion she was going for was given to someone younger. Hope was not happy and resigned from the job she loved. In the meantime, her younger sister Sara gave her somewhat of a lecture on it was time to change her life a little. Sara also told her about a raffle to win Half Moon Bay Resort in St Croix in the Virgin Islands. Sara knowing Hope would not buy the tickets, bought some for her. A week later Sara phoned her to say she had won the raffle. On hearing the news at first Hope wondered what Sara had done to her, but then thought this could be the change she needed. Steve the current owner of the resort spoke to Hope and was impressed with her. telling her he would remain at the resort for up to six months or less to help her settle. However, on arriving at the resort and introducing herself to Patti the resorts general manager found that Steve had abruptly left the night before without telling anyone. Patti informed Hope that Steve had also disconnected his phone number making him non contactable. The reason behind Steve leaving so abruptly was that he could not be there to hand over the arduous work he and his beloved wife Susan had done with the resort before she passed away. Patti lets Hope know that Steve had left her a letter which she could read when she was ready. Steve had also left a letter for Patti and Alex. Alex was angry that Steve could just up and leave like he had. Hopes concern was that Steve had promised to be there for the transition and now she would have to work things out with the resort by herself. That was until Patti said her and Alex would help her settle with the resort. Just a final part Erin has described some of the diving scenes in a way you can imagine yourself being there. Such a great and easy read, I give this book a 5-star rating.

This little mystery will make a big impact if you’re a fan of mysterious fantasy books.
We meet Gillian who is the eldest child who often takes care of her younger brother. They suspect he has wasting disease for which there is no cure. Albeit Gillian taught herself all that she knows of healing ailments with herbs. Her family is struggling, as is her community since the children and the crops are dying.
When Gillian’s parents discuss the possibility of crossing to the Shadowlands to desperately look for a coven of witches who may know how to rescue those dying of the disease m, they do not realize that Gillian heard the entire conversation.
The book follows Gillian on her secret journey hoping to find the necessary solution and return to her life on the other side. Little does she know that her life will never be the same after meeting an interesting character named Roman.
I enjoyed this book from the get go. It has all of the makings of an incredible adventure. I could see this adapted for tv or movies since the characters are so enchanting and engaging.

The author, Mavery, has created a world filled with dark and gritty plotlines, suspense, thrills, high-end danger, and strong, sexy ex-SEALs in protective mode, alongside equally strong female characters. This romantic suspense thriller is both interesting and highly entertaining, with a touch of humour woven throughout. It’s a must-read that won’t disappoint.

3.5 – 4 stars Welcome to Half Moon Bay, a small-town island with sun, sand, surf, and scuba diving. The story follows two fractured souls: a woman who is out of her depth and a dive instructor who comes to the rescue. Both are looking for change and a sense of belonging. Winning a resort in a raffle sounds like a dream, especially if it’s on a Caribbean island, but that’s the beauty of fiction – you can create whatever you like. Erin’s narrative vividly brings the island, the resort, and the sea to life. The beautiful picture she paints is marred by the characters’ feelings of inadequacy, hurt, and scarred hearts. This heartwarming romance tale makes it hard not to feel for the characters. The slow-burn relationship between them isn’t fully developed until closer to the end of the book, but I hope we get to explore it further in the next book. I’m eagerly anticipating reading more in the Half Moon Bay series.

Oscar and Emmy Visit the Vet” teaches children about the responsibilities of caring for their pets in a fun way. Pets are part of our family, so it’s crucial to keep them healthy and well-cared for, and what better place to learn than at the vet’s office. The story is simple and easy to understand, and the colourful pictures help children visualize the concepts being discussed. I’ve read most of the Oscar and Emmy series, and they are both educational and enjoyable. They are a must for families with children and pets. The earlier children start learning about pet care, the better.

4.5 stars Kimberly’s “Notebook Mysteries ~ Art of Deception” is another great addition to her series. It’s based on true events and weaves historical aspects into an entertaining tale. While each book in the series can be read on its own, I recommend starting with the first one, “Emma (Notebook Mysteries #1).” In this book, we reunite with old friends from the previous books and meet new well-written characters. The descriptive narrative brings both the characters and the story to life. Emma and Jeremy are back in super sleuth mode as they battle behind the scenes to find a treasure and track down a killer involving an ex and his pregnant wife, all while trying to stay one step ahead of the criminals. Although there are already many books in this series, I can see many more to come because each one is different, and the adventures and mysteries are endlessly intriguing.
This book is a fantastic addition to the series and I think has to be my favourite so far. I always enjoy the adventures of this character and this one was great as it involved more of her wider family. I swear she gets more feisty and independent with each book we read. The storyline was really exciting. It kept you on the edge of your seat as to what might happen next. This author has such as good writing style. Her books are so descriptive and detailed. They paint such vivid images that you cannot help but be drawn into the story. This was a great book and I am looking forward to the next one in the series.
This is the 3rd book in the Hearts of Gold series. This is a beautifully written MMF historical Romance. One thing I loved about this book is the amount of research the author does into the time period. The authors research is what makes this story come to life. It also shows how the relationship between our main characters would have been very unusual and also frowned upon by some people.
In this story we start off meeting Matty and Nico. They have been friends for years and as time progressed they realised that their love for each other was romantic. Just as their relationship starts to grow Matty is forced to leave to escape his abusive father. Fast forward and Nico has moved on and met Eden. Nico falls in love with her and plans on marrying her however Matty is never far from his mind. When Nico and Eden return to Nico’s home they find Matty has returned and with him all the feelings that Nico has held for him return as well. But what is he going to do? He can’t lose Eden or Matty. He wants them both but will they agree to a relationship where there is 3 people instead of 2? And will their relationship even stand a chance with everything against them. With people working against them and lies being told from people they should be able to trust will they even stand a chance of being happy together? This is a beautiful story about finding love, losing love, finding it again and creating something so beautiful and completing the lives of all 3 people involved. This is a story of fighting for the love you want dispite the people and things that maybe against you.

I was so excited to get my hands on this book and I was NOT disappointed! Caffrey has done it again but this time we get James’ story. I love Caffrey’s writing style and her character development and she continues that with this novel. This book has it all…suspense, mystery, romance, twists and turns. It is just such a nice mix of everything that there is something for everyone. Some tropes in this book include: forbidden love, protector, and damsel in distress among some others. I cannot recommend this book enough. You do not need to read the first book in this series; however, it always helps to have a better understanding of the characters but it’s not necessary. I love the way Sabol takes such an educational approach to pet ownership while also having such a great and relatable storyline for kids. In this installment in the series, Abby and Charlie need to take Oscar and Emmy to the vet for their yearly checkup. This story walks the readers all the way through a typical vet visit for a checkup while also talking about how pets may feel while at the vet. Again, I love the educational aspect of this story and the illustrations are phenomenal.
