Fierce Emotions (The Marcy Series Book 8) By Linda Burson
4 Stars!!!!

Once again I am delving into the world of Marcy, Brad and Liam and again I wasn’t disappointed. This is the eighth book in this series and it’s still just as grabbing as the first. The characters just come to life as the drama and story unfold around them.

I find the whole relationship between Marcy, Brad, and Liam quite quirky and unique. I find that the author’s take on polygamy is unique even though it would not be my choice. Marcy seems to really attract a bit of danger to her and drama and I really found myself drawn to her character. I really enjoy the dynamic around her and the men in her life. This book was not short of any drama and I found myself glued to the pages to see what the next adventure would be for Marcy and family. I definitely would love to read more from this author in the future.

I have read books from this author before and this book was just as good as the ones I have read before. I really find this author’s style to be quite refreshing. The characters just seem to come to life and I feel as though I am actually there in the pages as the drama unfolds.

The drama that unfolds around Jade and Konstandin really keeps you glued to the pages. I just couldn’t put the book down. The feud between Konstandin and his brother Tarek really adds to the story line . I must admit that I found the ending to be a twist I was not expecting but as the drama unfolds I really found that I felt as though I was there. The author really has such a brilliant writing style that you cannot just assume what will happen next. I really look forward to reading more from this author and this series.

Rage (The Macy Series book 1) by Linda Burson
4 Stars!!!!

I am so in a bad habit of reading books out of order in series and this one was no different. I have to admit that I still found things to be easy to follow. This is the first book in the series and I feel that it was a good chance to better get to grips with what I have already read of the series and a way to get a little more insight.

I really felt for Macy and I really was grateful for the chance to really get to understand and see what happened in her past and what brought her to be the Macy that I had read about. I really liked the opportunity to see how her and Brad began and what events really shaped what was to happen between them and how their relationship evolved. I also was grateful to help put the timeline together of how Liam entered her life and also watch that relationship evolve. The author really did a great unique job of setting the series off and I am glad that I am able to put a few pieces of the missing puzzle in the series together and really cannot wait to read more from this author.

I really haven’t read this series in order but that hasn’t effected my enjoyment of it. I find this author to be quite refreshing. I really do enjoy stepping out of my comfort genre. I really enjoy being amerced in the Irish days of old.

I enjoyed getting to have more of a glimpse into Orlagh’s life again. I found that the drama as it unfolded to keep me glued to the pages. I really found myself empathizing with Declan as the story began. I really was glad that Orlagh wasn’t alone and that her grandson was still alive. I found that as the story progressed that the drama was just enough and the flow of the book made it so I just couldn’t put it down. I look forward to reading more from this author and more from this series.

This is the third book in the series and I have to say I was not disappointed. The author just keeps the momentum going and I was glued to the pages. The characters are brought to life and you feel as though you are part of the story.

I love the fact that Tandi was actually special as well. I just found myself really drawn to her character from the second book and this third book really just drew me in closer. I love how Stephan and Tandi get together. I also found it refreshing that it wasn’t just obvious that they were mated and he played sort of indifferent to her. I love how the author brought the drama around the story and yet had that underlying romance. I will definitely be reading more from this author and I hope to read more from this series.

I do like to mix it up a bit and read a bit of a mystery sometimes. This was a new author and a new series to me and I was not disappointed. I really found this to be a refreshing change and well written. The book grabbed me from the beginning and held me till the end.

I found myself really drawn to Avery’s character. The fact that her case was indirectly tied into the new ones just brought a real good twist to the book. I really found myself feeling the emotions as she was going through them as she found out the truth of what really happened. Then the author does a good job of throwing in just that little twist to keep the book flowing and I found myself then really drawn to Charla’s character. I must admit that I cannot wait to read more from this author and this series to see how things turn out.

I really liked the fact that this book was biographical. The way that the author brings her own story to life really draws the reader in. I like finding new authors along with new series. I quite often find myself reading them out of order but that is ok. I really enjoyed this book and found it to be quite heart warming. The author has a refreshing writing style and brings the characters to life.

The chemistry between Maggie and Carson is quite literally explosive. The whole past history that they share really brings a lot of spark to the book and the underlying misconception on Maggie’s part adds to it. The way that he feels like he should be off limits but is really what she needs just makes for just the right amount of drama added to the book. I really like how the author ties different prospects of the afterlife and gives the slight comedy twist as well as keeping the romance in it.

I found that the author really has a refreshing way to put the humor into the story and brings the characters to life or should I say the afterlife. The way that the author entwines the characters in the afterlife with the living characters really adds to the story. The author has a unique style that has you feeling that you are right there in the midst of the story alongside the characters.

The author is able to bring in twists to the story along with the drama. As Orlagh rebels against her
grandfather I could really relate to her character. The way the author had it that Maelan has to bargain with the Fae really brought a new dimension to the story. The Fae once again bring a unique twist to the story. This book was very hard to put down. I was eager to see how the drama would unfold around Orlagh as a descendant of the brooch. The amount of suspense and drama is just the right balance. Picking up from the cliff hanger ending of the last book this one gets the story moving. I was really entranced by the way the author created the delusional and stalker character of Hawk. The way that the author twists the story and all the drama around Lia and Robins is very addictive. This is just a sweet little collection of paranormal romances. I like the variety of authors and the variety of paranormal subjects. I found that each book complimented one another and just added the right zest to the collection. Each author has their own unique style and I found this collection to be quite refreshing.

My utmost favorite was Flirty Dancing by Jennifer Theriot. This is the fourth book in her Series and I can I just say I wasn’t disappointed. I really like how the book seems to keep the flow of the series. I really felt the emotions that Kitty was going through. When your time is up your time is up but she definitely was gone too soon. I really enjoyed the rest of the collection but another absolute favorite was For Haven’s Sake by Nicole
Garcia. I love wolf books and I find that each author brings their own unique flavor to them. This book was no exception. I really ‪like how he ends up helping with wild wolves. I like how the author sets up the story with Jax and how he ends up where he does. I found myself really routing for Haven and couldn’t wait for the secrets to come out. I really found the chemistry between Annabel and Ethan to be sweet. The whole sort of crushing on your best friend’s brother really makes this story realistic. I just love the fact that Trouble plays a big part in this book. A detective cat just adds such a cuteness to the book. I loved getting to know Annie and how she came to be who she was and how she came to become part of the family with Millie and Alexandre. The best part was getting to see how Thayer and Annie found one another and how they were meant to be. I found it really interesting to get to know Thayer as well with part of his past. I like how Libby is down to earth and how her character feels real. The drama that unfolds in the book just adds to it and keeps the reader interested. I also like how Libby and James have their ups and downs and how they really pull out of them and seem to grow stronger. I was a bit anxious when it came to James’ ex but it seems that even that drama couldn’t bring them down. I will definitely be reading more from this author and hopefully this series.
