Wow yet again another new author and another gripping book. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started reading this book but I was pleasantly surprised. I found the author’s writing style to be refreshing and engaging. The book just really gets you hooked from the first page.

The complexity of the relationship between Lucy and Alexander is played out so well through this book. To read the drama as it unfolds in the book around these two keeps you at the edge of your seat. I really found myself by the end of the book routing for Alexander even though he is a very complex soul one cannot help but want him to get his happy ever after. I must admit that even with his complex past and the demons he seems to be battling he really won me over. I really cannot wait to read the next book in this series to see how the plot unfolds.

The whole drama surrounding Soumya and Vir is quite electric and that adds to the chemistry between them. I was very impressed that this wasn’t an easy love story but more a complex one. It made this book more realistic and enjoyable. I will definitely be reading this book over and over again. I also would like to read more from this author in the future.

I literally had chills reading this book. The author has really written a very twisted spine chilling book
that makes my mother-in-law look tame. I really found this author’s writing style to be refreshing and a step out of my comfort genre was really nice.

The characters are very relatable. I found myself drawn into the world and it felt as though I was Victoria. I really could relate with a mother-in-law who doesn’t like the wife, but this one really made me see just how fortunate I was. This book is very well written and all be it twisted with the plot it was a great read. I admit I don’t normally go for this type of book but I was very glad to have read it and gotten out of my normal genre. I would read more from this author in future.

Oh man am I in love with this series. This is the prequel book to the Soul Keeper Series and I must say that I am well hooked. I really found the whole pretense of the book to just grab me and drag me in. The author has such a unique and unusual take on vampires and soul mates.

Lets face it the whole triangle thing going on between Theodora, Lyzander and Sam is seriously unique. I quite think I am routing for Lyzander though I have to say. I really like how the author has weaved this complexity into the book and how it adds to the drama and spice. I really look forward to reading more from this author

I found myself really drawn to Evie’s character. I found that the author really made it unique. The fact that she is an empath really hit home with me. I also found the author’s use of her past in this book really added to the drama. The underlying stalker as well adds to the tension in the book and really grabs the reader. I really felt drawn to Lara and her character. As the drama unfolds for her I was eager to see what would happen next. The emotions that Tessa went through and the drama I felt as though I was going through it vicariously through the character. I found that I started to route for Locke the more the book progressed. The whole fight against evil even though supernatural is brought to life in this book. I found myself routing for Trinity and Blain. I have to admit that this is sort of a new genre for me. I really am not into like political murder mysteries and so I was pleasantly surprised when I got sucked into this book. I really like the way that the author weaves the drama into the story and you find yourself at the edge of your seat. I really didn’t want to put this book down.

I found myself really gripping the edge of my seat as Karina’s character helped to unfold the mystery and drama and solve the case. I really was eager just to turn the next page to see just what would happen next. I have to admit that the undertone of the romance between Karina and Mike really just adds to the drama. The author does such a wonderful job of keeping the drama going from book to book. There seems to be a smooth transition from the fist straight through to the third book in this series. I am once again not let down. This is the second book in this series and the third book including the prequel to the series that I have read. The author really has such a great way of grabbing the reader and keeping you at the edge of your seat. I really found myself getting lost in this magical confectioner’s world she has created.

I have to say that the more I read about Wren’s life the more I really find I am drawn to her character. She has gone through so much in her short time in the Guild and then to have to endure more. She is a very strong leading character and the author does such a great job of developing her character around the drama that unfolds. I really felt all the emotions vicariously as Wren went through them and in this book she has a roller coaster of them. She winds up losing so much and yet she still has Lucas. I really felt my heart in my throat as the book came to the ending and once again to have the book on a cliff hanger of sorts really has me anxious for the next book in the series. Once again going out of my genre choice and I must admit that I was quite drawn in. There is so much that drew me in. The author does such an amazing job of creating the world in which her characters live. I like how the book is written in first person view point. I really enjoyed the fact that Laurie was doing the right thing and helping to bring down the bad guys. I found that although the story line was a bit drawn out that it still had the desired affect that I was pulled in and couldn’t put the book down. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Wren, Sable and Hale. Into the mix you have the chemistry between Wren and Lucas. The whole dynamic just adds to the intrigue in the book. I like how there was new life brought to the legend of old. I was really routing for Fionna. I
could just imagine myself as her trying to fight for what was right and the people I loved. This
book brings such a unique twist to the legend along with more drama. I really couldn’t put this book down. I am really on the edge of my seat now awaiting the next book in this series. I have and will read more from these authors.
