The Killmores (A Killmore novel) by Martha Sweeney 4 Stars!!!!
Wow is what comes to mind first. This is the second book in the series and I was not disappointed. I was just glued to the pages to see how things would unfold. The author really has a refreshing style and the world she has created really grabs you and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The chemistry between Aiden and Laurie just heats up more in this book and the drama that unfolds around them really adds to the whole dynamic. I was drawn in as Laurie’s past comes back into play and how things get resolved. The whole undertone of the book of the mob and corruption really just adds to the story. I found myself really routing for Aiden and Laurie. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I really like paranormal stories and when you add the added bonus of time travel well who could ask for anything more? The author has such a refreshing world that she has created. The story line is unique and the story just grabs you and keeps you glued to the pages.
I really felt myself connected with Emeline. The way she built her life with Samoset and his people really adds to the story. I really liked how she is able to time travel and the drama that is played out in the book as she fights to put the future straight really keep you enticed. This book is such an addicting read and I will most certainly be reading it again as well as more books from this author.

I must admit I like a good mystery book once in a while. This was a great find as this is my first book by this author. The book has just the right amount of drama and really grabs the reader from page one. I was at the edge of my seat awaiting to find out what would happen next.
I found that Karina’s character was very realistic. I found myself being transported into the book as she delves into the museum heist mystery. The drama between her and Patrick just adds to the drama in the book. The whole way that things unfold along with the darknet auction to the mob connections I just couldn’t put this book down. I found my adrenaline running as I am sure Karina’s would be as she followed each lead to the heist. I look forward to reading more not only from this series but also this author.

I really love it when I find new authors and new series. This book is a great start to this series. I really like paranormal books and with the added drama in this it makes it really grabbing. There was constant want to not put the book down.
I found Trinity to be quite relatable. The way the author brings the emotions and how a normal teen struggles with feeling normal. I was drawn to the characters in this book as the story began to unfold. The chemistry between Trinity and Blain just really adds to the story. As Trinity begins her journey that is destine for her and battles the evil I was so drawn in and the added bonus of the romance between her and Blain really hooks the reader in. I find that I really cannot wait to find out what happens next and look forward to reading the next book in the series. I I am glad to add this author to my top favorite authors.

Once again going out of my genre choice and I must admit that I was quite drawn in. There is so much that drew me in. The author does such an amazing job of creating the world in which her characters live. I like how the book is written in first person view point. The use of the past as well to help put the story together is just so refreshing.
I really enjoyed the fact that Laurie was doing the right thing and helping to bring down the bad guys. I found that although the story line was a bit drawn out that it still had the desired affect that I was pulled in and couldn’t put the book down. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Aiden and Laurie was a leading factor that kept me glued to the pages of this book. I don’t often enjoy cartel or mafia based books but I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I found that the author was able to be create the sexual tension between the two main characters as well as wrap the drama around them. I do like mysteries and case solving and I found that the author really put good use of this in the story. I very much look forward to reading more from this author as well as this series.

What happens when you put a busy loving family and Christmas coming up with a very pregnant lady? Well you get eagerly awaited twins coming early. I really enjoyed this opertunity to once again get to lose myself in the Greg and Faiths lives. This was such a great delve into their journey into parenthood.
I really like how the author focused on Greg and Faith again and we were able to see the lead up to and the days after the twins birth. I really enjoyed how the families all came together to help and keep Greg going as Faith recovered. This was such a great short read that I am sure it will be one that I will be reading over and over. I really look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I really like finding new authors. This was such a refreshing read for me. I like to read various genres and I really liked how the author winds the story around the characters. It’s quite nice to have a unique character base.
I really like how the author made the character realistic as sometimes in books they just are too fake. Frank is so realatable. There is so much to be said for asterisk. The author really had me hooked on this book and I was glad to have a break from my normal steamy romances. This book really was a breath of fresh air for me. It wasn’t superficial it was a really great down to earth read and I will be reading it over and over.

This is a very unique book and a very refreshing author. This is my first time reading this author and I have to say that I found this book to be quite interesting. The whole concept of magic in everything is just so refreshing. I really found myself getting caught up in the creative world the author was creating. I found that it really made me look at life and see just how magical it really is.
There is just so much going on in this book that you really need to just get lost in it. The author brings so much creativeness to this book. You can easily get lost in the ramblings of this book. It was such a unique book and I am so glad that I was able to read it. This is like a trip down a road less traveled and everyone should read a book like this at least once if not again and again I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I just love dragon shifter books. This was also a new author and series for me. I was not disappointed! This is yet another wonderful twist on the legend of King Arthur. The author’s writing style and story are so unique and refreshing.
The whole chemistry between Nathaniel and Chloe is just electric. I felt as though I was Chloe and went through all the feelings and emotions as she did. I really liked the fated mates bit. I found that I was just glued to the pages to see what would happen. I was definitely on the edge of my seat waiting to see what Chloe would decide and how it would all end. The emotions and affects of being fated mates brought so much to the book. The fact that there are seven more brothers brings so much to how the series will move on and I cannot wait. This first book is such a great starting point of this series and I cannot wait to see how the remaining stories unfold. I definitely will be reading more of this series and from this author.

I like that once again I have found a new author to read. I found that the authors writing style was quite refreshing. I really liked the fact that nothing was really straight forward and that gave this book a real sense of realism. Life isn’t predictable and neither should a book be. I was hooked right to the end.
The combination of Jamie and Kira is just sensational. I really liked the fact that both had pasts and that both had to heal. This story really shows that everyone deserves that special someone. I really like how the author brought the couple together and how everything works out in the end. It really shows that even in real life we all have our dreams and desires and how when we find the right person everything can fall into place even if we have our doubts we should never give up on our dreams.I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

I have to say that I wasn’t disappointed. This is the third book in this series and I was just as hooked on this one as I was the first. The author has a really refreshing take on werewolved. I really couldn’t put this book down.
I really got into the story and could feel all the emotions Bryce was going through. I really could feel the chemistry between him and Alexis. The drama added just enough to the story line. I really liked that Bryce was the first human in one hundred years to be transformed. The story really just fits so well with the first two books and I really cannot wait to read more from not only this series but also this author.

What can I say but I absolutely have fallen for this series. The author has such a unique way of bringing the characters to life and I felt as though I was actually in the story. The refreshing way that you are drawn into the book and just feel as though you are escaping into the world that the author has developed. I just couldn’t put this book down.
I really felt drawn to Wren from the very start. The drama that unfolds around her brings you to the edge of your seat with anticipation. I liked how the author was able to not only throw in drama and intrigue but also weaved in just the touch of romance to boot. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Wren, Sable and Hale. Into the mix you have the chemistry between Wren and Lucas. The whole dynamic just adds to the intrigue in the book. I really cannot wait for the next book in this series. To get to delve more into the lives of the Confectioners and their world alongside the other guilds and see where the magic leads.

I love it when I find a new series. This is the prequel to the series and it really put a lot of things in perspective. I really enjoyed the author’s unique writing style. The story just jumps off of the pages. I felt as though I was really going through the things that the characters were going through.
This book really sets up the series. I really enjoyed Hale’s character. This book brings Hale’s life before he joined the Confectioner’s guild. I really liked how the author brought his character to life and showed how he matured over the course of the book. I really enjoy this author’s work and will definitely be reading more from her and this series.

This being the third book in this series was another great one. I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed the chance to get to know more about the Mallory’s and the extended family. I was just as entranced with this book as I was the first.
I really like how Skye and Edward’s lives just really became entangled with one another. The outside dramas that incurred from her ex and his ex just really made the story. The author really has a unique writing form that you get sucked in from the first page. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Skye and Edward and then throwing in his young son really just made the whole story. I found myself really drawn to Skye as she was so relateable. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future and I actually hope that there is more to this series.

I absolutely adore Arthurian legends and stories. This was just an absolutely refreshing take on the legend. I really enjoyed reading this book. I like how the authors were able to bring a refreshing twist to this and bring the story to life. I was so hooked from page one.
I like how there was new life brought to the legend of old. I was really routing for Fionna. I could just imagine myself as her trying to fight for what was right and the people I loved. This book brings such a unique twist to the legend along with more drama. I really couldn’t put this book down. I am really on the edge of my seat now awaiting the next book in this series. This is such a great read! I really like magic related books and this certainly filled the bill. I was drawn into the book from the get go. The author has such a refreshing writing style that I didn’t want to put the book down.
I was really drawn to Caitlin’s character. I like the fact that she was sort of a rebel but really deep down she was the good girl her aunt knew she was. I like how she needed to believe in the magic for it to work. I am a crazy cat lady so I really loved how the cats were more than just familiar. I also found that the relationship between Caitlin and her aunt is quite special. I really found this to be a really nice change of pace. There was just enough drama included as well. I found it really interesting that the magical realms were created by writers and more over that their books were the worlds histories. I like the fact that the author focused on Caitlin being her aunt muse and that unbeknownst to her she also helped to create part of the magic realms. The villain being her creation.I really found this book to be a great read and I really look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Well the second book is just as addicting as the first. I was not disappointed! The journey for Gwen continues as it does for her family and friends. I was on the edge of my seat from the cliff hanger from book one and I was not let down. I found that the author had such a great writing style that I once again felt as though I was going through the emotions alongside Gwen.
This concluding book in the duet really brings things full circle and draws even more on the heart strings than the first. I was so torn from the first book on the way Gwen’s mom had reacted but I felt as though through this book I got to know not only Gwen more but her mother as well. I found that the author really brought life to the mother daughter relationship and this is what makes the book so real. As well as the way in which she also brings the relationship between Kame and Gwen slowly through the book is so unique and refreshing. I like the fact that it is a bit more realistic than all hearts and flowers. I really enjoyed not only the first book but this book as well. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.
I have again delved into the created world of another new author. I have to say that I quite enjoyed this book. The author has a great writing style that keeps you glued to the pages. I really didn’t want to put the book down.
This first book introduces you to Gwen and her friends and family. I really enjoyed this first book as I felt that I could really relate with Gwen. It was a very great start to the build up that I was sure to come. The author has just enough intensity to the plot that you can really find the characters relate able. I definitely found the dynamic between Gwen and Kame to be unique as well as how her relationship with her mother progressed and sort of declined. There is just so much realism to the whole situation that I found myself feeling the emotions as if I were Gwen. I really look forward to reading more from this author and the second part of this duet.
What better way to spend a cold evening than with a cozy book by a new author? I went outside of my comfort genre and was pleasantly surprised. This book was very well written and I was very impressed with the author’s candor and the way she handled the subject matter. The story was gripping and had me not wanting to put the book down.
Yoko’s character really came to life for me in this book. I felt as though I was feeling the emotions as she experienced them. The drama that ensued in the beginning till the very end just brought this book to life for me. The chemistry between Yoko and Mark is really intense. I felt that the author really had a unique way of grabbing the reader and drawing them in. The way Yoko goes about getting her revenge is quite unique. I was at the edge of my seat not wanting to put the book down till I got to the end. I will definitely be reading more from this author.

Love, Christmas – Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2) by Various Authors

When you just want to get lost in romance this is the anthology for you. I love the fact that there are so many authors and a wide variation of stories. I like the fact that there are so many new authors as well. I know that this is a group of books that I will be able to read again and again.
I would like to highlight my three favorite stories starting with my most favorite A Royal White Christmas by by Leanne Banks. This was such a sweet romance. It is the typical love at first sight that just grabs your heartstrings and has you routing for the girl to get her guy. I like how the author kept the air of mystery surrounding Brice till just near the end.
The instant chemistry between Brice and Holly is endearing. Sometimes the typical mushy romance is just what one needs and this book totally filled that need for me. I really like how the author was able to make Brice make Brice accessible and not your typical royal. I found that the author had a nice writing style and a very creative way of bringing the characters to life. I definitely will be reading this one again and again.
My second favorite was Jingle with my Princess by Mona Risk. This book had quite a complex plot to it. There were parts of the past of the characters that really played a big part to the whole story line. The past between Amy, Paul and Scott really created the people that they had become. I like that Scott really gets to get through his hurts of the past.
The chemistry that develops between Scott and Charlene is quite refreshing. The fact that she is the balm that heals his wounds and helps him to come to terms with his past is the best part. The fact that in the end Scott and Paul sort their differences and Paul realizes that there is no reason to be jealous really added a realism to this story. I was really drawn to Charlene’s character as I felt I could relate to her in some ways. I like how she was able to see through Scott’s faults and checked the facts before she threw away her chance with Scott. She was able to see that Amy although her sister in law had a flawed view and by taking a look from the outside she saw that in fact Scott was misunderstood and I was ever so glad when she gave him a chance. I will definitely be reading this book again and again as well.
My third favorite was Her Mr. Miracle by Donna Fasano. This is another one of those you can’t always be prepared for the love bug stories. I like how the author is able to bring the characters to life. I really got into this story as if it was happening to me.
The complexity between Ronnie and Adam is quite refreshing. She has her complex life she is trying to escape from and he has his own problems to deal with. It’s a two peas in a pod sentiment. They are totally made for one another. I like how the author brings in just enough drama to the story line . There is a point just at the end where I was just banging my head cause you knew that Adam would make things more complex than they should have been and I could feel my heart drop as I am sure Ronnie’s would have. Then getting to near the end when in typical guy fashion he almost makes a complete mess of it all but alas the day is saved. I know that again this is another book I will read again and again.
There were so many books in this collection and I know that I will enjoy them all again and again. This is the perfect set for the cold long nights ahead not just for Christmas. I am so glad that this has many new authors for me and that it is a varied collection of story themes. This is a definite must read!

I must say that even though it isn’t my go to genre I was still as impressed with this book as I was with the first. I found that the author has a unique way of writing that the books just flow one right after the other. There is a constant that brings each book together. I was as hooked from page one of this book five as I was from book one.
This book really brings things full circle as Petrosky really has to battle his inner demons and work his way through the case. I really felt my heart strings tugging for him. I like how the author was able to make it so that you had bated breath to see how things would turn out. Petrosky really has his redemption in this final book. I really would like to read more from this author in the future and even though it isn’t my go to genre I will be reading this series again as I am sure that as with most you tend to find details and things that you missed the first time.

I so love finding new authors as well as a new series. I however am also in the bad habit of reading the books out of order. I came across this author by suggestion and I am glad I did. This author has a refreshing writing style and representation of immortals. I quite like the concept of the Readers, the Jacks, and the Seers. Even though this is the second book I wasn’t out of sorts as I read it and found it quite easy to get to grasps of what was going on.
I like how the drama unfolds around Archer. I found myself really routing for him as he was looked upon as the black sheep so to speak. I like how everything all fell into place and how the chemistry between Archer and Sadie developed over the book. I found myself glued to the pages to see how things would play out as the twists and turns in the drama unfolded. I really look forward to reading more from this author and this series.

The Catch (Eastern Shore Swingers #2) by Phoebe Alexander 4 Stars
Yet another journey into the lives of the swingers! I have to say that I wasn’t disappointed. I quite admire the way that the author deals with her subject matter. The characters are very relateable. I find her writing style to be very refreshing.
The chemistry between Paisley and Calvin is very unique. I could feel the turmoil Paisley felt as she battled her doubts if she was good enough for him or not. I quite like how I could relate to some of the emotions and feelings that she had even though my experiences have been different. The author has really brought an alternative lifestyle to life in her books and in a manner that even though it isn’t your lifestyle choice you can still enjoy reading about the characters that portray it. I will definitely read more by this author in the future.
Running From Demons by M.K. Theodoratus 4 Stars!!!!
I have to admit that I like to find new series and new authors. This book definitely was a good find. The author has a rather unique writing style along with a very original take on demons and witches. I found myself getting lost in this world the author created and didn’t want to put the book down.
The whole story unfolds bit by bit in this book which is quite great and grabs the reader in. Pillar’s character grabs you by the heart strings from the get go and I really routed for her. As the story unfolds you do get a sense that there are not just two factions pitted against one another but that one of them is divided so in fact really there are three. I like the fact that there is really a shadow over the divided group as even though two groups are pitted against the third you know that you really cannot trust the second group.
I found the chemistry between Pillar and Nate to be enticing. I found myself getting drawn into the book the more they began to interact. I really look forward to reading more from this author. I know that this is the second book so I have once again began a series out of order. I en devour to read the first and the last.

Embrace the Passion (Pets in Space 3) by Various Authors 5 Stars!!!!!
I ask you what more could one ask for but cute pets and space? This is the third collective and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. I like how a collective of authors can all bring such life to space and add a touch or romance with the pets as an added bonus.
This collection is very vast and I really enjoyed them all but my absolute favorite was The Bajo Cats of AnterosXII by E.D. Walker. I am a crazy cat lady at heart and the whole story was quite interesting to me. I like how the author had the alien cats have a defense mechanism that when young they cant control. I like how Zandro and Aliette work things out and how there is just enough drama in this short story to really get the reader engrossed in it and not able to put the book down till then end. The author has a real interesting take on how different pets in space can be and also tackles real life issues with the conservation efforts of Zandro. I really would like to read more from this author in future.
I have a close second to my favorite and that is Quashi: (A Mandrake Company Story) by Ruby Lionsdrake. This story reminded me so much of the Star Trek episode The Trouble with Tribbles. I like how the author’s unique writing style brings this different creature to life.
The whole sort of chemistry between Chanda and Kor is quite refreshing. This short story has a lot of drama that works around the blossoming romance of the two. The mystery that evolves during the story helps to bring them together and also helps Chanda really achieve her original purpose. This author does a great job in such a short expanse and grips the reader from page one. I would like to read more from his author in the future.
I finally have one more favorite and that is Starway by Alexis Glynn Latner. This was full of adventure this one. I have to admit that I was quite impressed the amount the author was able to get in such a short story. I really do like these anthologies of short stories as they highlight such talent.
I really found myself routing for Nikka through this book but I have to admit at first I didn’t expect her and Danyel to end up. I find that the author has a very refreshing writing style that grabs you and brings you into the book and gets straight to the point. There was quite a bit of drama that played out in this short story and I look forward to reading more from this author.
When I read an anthology I am always drawn to at least one story. The rest are the added bonus and I find that this collection is full of the stories that I like to read and I know I will find myself reading this collection over and over.

Marks of the Mazza:Reverse Harem (Mazza Series book 1) by Blake Blessing 5 Stars!!!!!
Imagine getting into the wrong car and finding your destiny. Wow this book just really had me hooked from page one. I love supernatural and paranormal romances and to add the extra drama well this book has just ticked all the boxes. The author has such a unique and refreshing take on the Fae.
Isolde really doesn’t have a clue what she steps into and I just love the whole sort of mystery and drama that plays out. The whole dynamic of her and the four Fennin is just mind blowing. I find the author has such a great way to bring this story to life. I found myself feeling the emotions and doubts that Isolde was feeling. I really liked the concept of the reverse harem and the whole idea that she was the one to bring about the destined change. I really cannot wait to read more of this series and also more from his author.

Fisher of Men Eastern Shore Swingers #1 by Phoebe Alexander
4 stars!!!!
I have to say that as this is a slightly different romance genre than I am used to I was well impressed by the authors creative way of bringing it to the reader. I admit it isn’t a lifestyle choice I would make but I came into this book with a very opened mind and wasn’t disappointed.
The whole chemistry between Cap and Leah is definitely unique. I like how the author did get a bit of drama written in. The whole religious conflict Leah feels I can so relate to with all be it a slightly different situation but nonetheless it brought it home for me. I like how the author addressed this with Mary. This book brings an alternative lifestyle to light and the author has a very refreshing and unique way of dealing with the subject. I would probably read more of this series in the future even though it is something I would never consider but I can always get lost is the books.

Can’t Forget Book 2 in the Solum Series by Colleen S. Myers 4 Stars!!!!
I am forever reading books in series out of order but I found that I didn’t have trouble in understanding what was happening in this book. I do love an alien based book. I found the author had a very refreshing style. I quite liked the plot and was quite drawn into this book.
Elizabeth and Marin have such a unique and special chemistry. I was quite drawn to them as a pair. The way the author uses the back flashes of Elizabeth’s past really add to the drama of the book. I found myself feeling the emotions along with her and also her fears. I really do need to get the other books in the series read and I plan on not only reading them but also reading this book again as I feel as though I have found another author to add to my top favorites!

This series seems to get darker and darker. I once again found myself drawn into the world createdynn by the author. I again took the journey out of my comfort genre to the dark and thrilling adventures of the police of Ash Park. The author has a very unique and chilling writing style.
I really found myself drawn to Petrosky and also feeling just a bit sorry for him. He seems to be on a bit of a self destruct mode and you just really find yourself routing for him. As the case draws on you find that the ghosts of his past really do impact the way he is in the present. I could feel the emotions coming off the pages. As I was glad that the case in the book was brought to an end I found myself really feeling so much concern for Petrosky. The author leaves us on a cliffhanger and that just makes you hunger for what is to come. I will be on tenter hooks waiting for the next book in this series.

Transformations: The Shifter Series by Cari Schaeffer
5 Stars!!!!!
What more could one ask for in a new series and new author than plenty of drama and intrigue and an age long feud that no one remembers how it started. I was so enthralled with this book that I couldn’t put it down. The author has a very refreshing style and take on the shifter.
I was very much drawn to Kat not only cause she is the partial focus of the book but because her character is original. I like how the author brings in many different aspects to this book. There is the Hatfield and Macoy theme as well as a Romeo and Juliet undertone. I like how the author brings in the twist of not knowing who the leak is and I like how the drama is drawn out and it isn’t predictable. I am very eager to read more from not only this author but this series.
