This book was great!
This book hit in some many places. It was sweet, funny, cute, steamy, romantic, and adorable. This book had me go through a rollercoaster of emotions. This book was well written. This story flowed great, even between characters. I can’t wait for the next!

Gina and Bryce meet under a situation that I think many women would feel odd about. As someone who is insecure a bit about herself at times, I totally related to Gina and some of her assumptions. I can also understand some of Gina’s reluctance to share about her experience of being wounded while serving her country. But with any great love story, taking the time to listen and communicate helps Gina and Bryce really connect.
I really enjoyed reading about Gina and Bryce. I’m sure I will be reading the other books in this series soon.

A Hundred Wishes had me running through all sorts of emotions as I read. Happy, sad, frustrated, loved, relatable, ect. I enjoyed it as a whole though!
Gina, a homemaker/retired military with a deep secret. Her circle of friends(sisters) know because they were there together, but not the new man who entered her life.
Bryce, a fire inspector who squirms at the site of injuries and scars of injuries, doesn’t know his new person of interest has a deep secret involving just that.
The growth between Gina and Bryce is slow and frustrating because they suck at communicating with one another. They both need to overcome their fears if they intend on making it work. Individually I feel the character growth was definitely a lot better. They need to figure out how to translate that growth to their relationship.
Do they overcome their fears or do they let go of each other? Despite how happy they make one another.
A book in a series that I personally need to go back and read the first 2 books. You don’t have to read them; it works just as well as a stand-alone.
Of course after reading this book I’m going to anxiously await the last one, since there’s one friend(sister) left who’s story needs to be told.

What a lovely story! Sofia is an incredible woman and so strong. She was in a bad situation but didn’t let the past make her weak, instead it made her stronger. Theo was also amazing and helped Sofia so much. This book reminded me that it’s possible to move on and be happy even when it feels impossible. Definitely recommend if you want the feel goods wrapped in a great book.

Tia is running from her past, a relationship gone bad. Her goals are 1. Stay away from men, cops especially. 2. Stay in hiding and don’t attract attention from those around you. Tia is also a Reiko instructor in Boston, she is independent and strong willed. But in the back of her mind is her ex-boyfriend and two of his cop friends who are stalking her. She has to run as long as Dane is after her. Theo is a detective who is in recovery from an on duty injury. Theo sees Tia right after she gets a text that frightens her. When she drops her phone, Theo picks it up and hands it to her. He is instantly attracted to her. Can these two people let down their guard long enough to trust each other? No Spoilers!
This story is fast paced and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I instantly fell in love with Tia and Theo. Theo knows something is wrong and feels he must protect Tia. So sentimental! While this book can be a stand alone. I think this is one series I can’t wait to continue. This is also a new author for me. So I must find more treasures from her and read on.

Conveniently Yours by Anise Storm

I have always loved first-person point of view especially when seen for both Paisley and Caspian as it allows you to really get inside their heads and understand what they are going through and feeling. Anise Storm really captured what was going on by using this POV. Caspian and Paisley found each other, exactly when they both needed someone to keep them grounded. You can feel their feelings coming off the page right at you.

This was a great read! It’s the second book in the Titans of Manhattan series. Elsa is a successful Realtor, and Anton is a Hollywood actor. They have a wonderful story filled with romance until a series of events puts their relationship to the test. A story that has a rollercoaster of emotions taking you with them, their story is tragic and full of ups and downs and struggles, making it really relatable.

This story was short and anything but sweet. In a blissfully good way, of course. It was dangerous. It was passionate. It was dramatic. It was nail biting goodness. This story began fast and continued at warp speed. The characters had issues they needed to work out. Trust, abuse and tenacity were ever present and the play on words was very cleverly done by the author. Although short, the story had spice and impact, leaving you breathless and unable to forget a moment. 4 stars.

I was pulled in right from the beginning and didn’t want to put it down. This was a great 5 star read, my emotions were all over the place.
Gina has a secret that she holds pretty close, she uses her crafts to help her deal with things. She ends up meeting Bryce who is an arson inspector. He wants to get to know Gina better but she’s not sure if she is ready to open up just yet. Will Bryce be able to get her to trust him with her secret? Can they have a HEA?
Overall I really enjoyed their story, they definitely didn’t have an easy road but what real relationship is easy? These two were made for each other. You can read this book as a stand alone but I suggest reading from the start so you get the backstory. I can’t wait to read more from this author and series. 1-click and get started today.

I loved this story! Gina is a military veteran with a traumatic past. After getting injured in a bomb, she has recovered and is living life with her best friends. Bryce is an arson inspector who is used to being loved by the ladies. Until he meets Gina at a craft fair, who shot him down. When they meet with mutual friends, the chemistry is undeniable.
The connection between these characters was so much fun to experience. Gina is strong willed, independent, and knows what she wants from life. Bryce is cocky, witty and used to getting his way. He is flirty and gives his all to impressing Gina. Gina isn’t sure how much she can let him in with her injuries.
As a military family, this story hits a special place in my heart. Gina is battling with not only self love but letting someone in to know her whole true self. This story is beautiful, fun, lustful, and emotional. I’m so glad I read this book and would love to read the rest of the series!

This was my first book by this author so I wasn’t really sure what to expect but my goodness they have themselves a new fan! Right from the get go I was intrigued and captivated by the characters and their seemingly traumatic pasts.
This storyline moves quickly but in the best way possible, I was still able to connect with the characters and believe in their connection. I’m so happy with how everything played out and I can’t wait to continue this series asap!
If you are looking for a quick powerful romance read look no further this is the book for you!

So, when I first read the synopsis for this book, I had a feeling it was going to be good by oh my it was amazing! I was hooked from beginning to end and I have to admit I was a little disappointed when it was over – I wanted more of these characters! I loved Sofia and Theo their characters were very exciting to read about and the author really managed to bring them to life with her writing. I might be a little but in love with Theo!! I absolutely cannot wait to read more from this author!!

Although this book is part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone. I had not read any of the previous books in the series and did not feel as though I was missing any necessary information as the author fills you in with all information needed to understand and enjoy the story.
This is a great contemporary romance that follows one of my favourite tropes, and that is ‘wounded warrior’. Gina was badly burned in a roadside bomb while in active service three years previously. Her confidence is low and she hasn’t been with a man since and has no intention of letting any man see her body. That is until she meets, and gets to know, arson investigator Bryce. But how will he react when he sees her scars? Will she actually get the courage to let him see her as she really is?
I really enjoyed reading Gina and Bryce’s story. It’s filled with a great deal of angst, mainly on Gina’s part, as she tries to fight her growing feelings for Bryce but unable to see how such a relationship could work.
I loved the camaraderie between Gina and her friends, who have been the main characters in the previous books and in those still to come. They truly are a ‘band of sisters’.
I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others.

I really enjoyed this contemporary romance read. The characters were so well written that I couldn’t help but take them into my heart and want the best for them. Gina – I had so much respect for her, she sustained an awful injury but rebuilt her life with such strength and bravery – I truly admired her. Bryce may have stolen my heart! The way he interacted with Gina and made her feel safe and secure enough to finally let someone in. I was 100% rooting for this couple the whole way through.

I absolutely love the story. Sophia (Tia) is a woman trying to get her life back and Theo is recovering from a injury. What I loved most was the communication between them, their ability to trust and be trusted, cared for and listened to in a way they haven’t before. The give and take to what a relationship should be. Even throughout the drama of the book they were able to find joy and comfort in each other. I’m really looking forward to the other books in this series.

Theo and Tia are two of the most well-written characters I have come across in a bit. Tia has escaped from an abusive relationship and has walls up around her. You feel them as you are reading. You feel the emotions she is experiencing. Theo is in law enforcement recovering from an injury. Their paths cross and he feels she’s hiding something. He’s attracted but wants to help her. The chemistry is off the charts! I love how its set with an alternative medicine touch. Her ex is downright creepy and dangerous. The tension is real; the characters are relatable. Toss a little spice in there and you have a terrific story. I’d give it more than a 5 if I could. Highly recommend.

I loved this book. It was my first time reading a book by Marianne Rice and I was not disappointed. I immediately fell in love with Gina and Bryce. This book is part of a series but can definitely be read as a standalone as I did. I can’t wait to read more of the series. It’s such a heartwarming story. It kept me engaged the whole time.

Etched in this Moment is a fast paced Contemporary Romance that I absolutely loved reading. I’m going to be honest there was a few parts of the story that felt a bit rushed and a few other parts I wish she gave us more but other than that I loved it. This is a fairly new author to me and I’m definitely going to check out what other books she has written. This story is well developed other than a few spots and the characters are relatable and fully developed. This may be a trigger as there is mention of some abuse but its not to bad. This is Tia ( Sophia) and Theo’s story . She has a secret that no one knows about but her she’s had to move away from her family and friends to be safe from an ex. Her new life is going well until an anonymous text sends her running right into Theo who she doesn’t know it yet but he’s her saving grace. Theo is a detective who is on light duty after being injured on the job. These two from the first moment have a feeling like they’ve never felt before. The more they get to know each other the more she opens up about her past and her non trust in police officers. Can Theo protect her? Can he keep her safe from dangerous ex? You guys I highly recommend reading this book. You will find yourself lost in the pages. I read it in one sitting. It was a perfect snow day read. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Etched in This Moment is more realistic than people realize at times. It’s definitely a trigger warning for anyone who’s ever been in an abusive relationship. Besides that I liked it. The great book premise was there, might’ve been a little rushed in the timeline but the story still worked and it was good.
Tia aka Sofia is trying to hide in plain sight from ex-boyfriend Dane(who happens to be a cop.) Until he finds her! What he doesn’t know is that when he does contact to say he has, it changes Tia’s life for the better. She literally/figuratively runs into her future in Theo.
Theo, a detective, wants to do everything in his power to keep Tia safe.
Does Dane get to her?
Why is Theo so enthralled with a stranger?
What happens to Tia/Sofia?
All that and more can be found out by jumping into this story. Just heed the warning at the beginning if that’s you. If not jump in, it’s worth the read!

I thought this was a wonderful story, so well written and easy to read. It took no time at all to get lost in the story and the journey the characters go through. I thought they were such engaging and well rounded characters. They added so much to the overall story. This is an author that is still relatively new to me and I thought this book were a great example of what she could do. I loved the ebb and flow of the story. This c were a great book to read and I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

A Hundred Wishes was equally heartwarming, funny, sad and steamy. I loved that even though this book was part of a little series of books you could read it all by itself.
I fell in love with the characters. They were real. No fairytale romace here. Both of the main characters had issues that cause bumps and curves in their relationship together. Though they did work through a lot of the issues, the issues themselves didn’t magically disappear. By the end of the story they both still had stuff they need to workout but had learned how to better work them and cope. That made this story much more relatable and such a great read.

This is a contemporary romance suspense story and the first book I have read by this author. There are plenty of emotions and drama, angst, and suspense, secrets and lies, pain and suffering, fear, heartache and so much more. The story is fast paced and full of chemistry that is off the charts in this insta love story. Throw in some danger and mystery, and a bit of action with a woman living in fear with no trust and a charming alpha male who wants to protect, and you have an emotionally charged story that you can’t put down.

Well. That escalated quickly! I couldn’t stop reading. I’m sad it was as short as it was, and I personally feel like everything was rushed and that we missed out on so much goodness. BUT it is the first of the series, so I’m not going to harp. My first book by this author, very pleased with her writing style and characters. I’ll be here for book two!

Love me a good sports romance. Also a second chance and forced proximity romance.
I really enjoyed the role reversal that this author uses: I usually see the female as the one who knows who the other person is and is the one going after their love interest, but here Levi is the one who realizes who Brynn is and is the pursuer.
I liked that there was still a buildup of the chemistry between the characters rather than a “I used to love you as a kid, now you’re here, lets fall into bed” situation.
I love the sexy calendar fundraiser aspect to this story. Of the ones I’ve read that does something like that I found that this author did it the best. Also, I want that cabin in the woods for myself! Maybe Levi can make a guest appearance ;-P
I absolutely adore the side characters, with Tia and Bridger being the most prominent (oh the tension there!). I can’t wait to read their story (book 2) and how they find their HEA (this is romance, so a HEA— Happy Ever After— is expected). I also adored Xander and his gentleness. I can’t wait to read about him.
This book does mention characters from another book, and whets the appetite for that story., but that one is technically not part of this series. As this is the first book I’ve read from this author I’ll certainly be adding that to my TBR list.

It had me engrossed from the first paragraph and I wasn’t able to stop reading it until the very end. Tia and Theo meet by chance, but that very moment changes everything in their lives. Sofia finds it hard to trust again and Theo is driven to keep her safe. Their relationship progresses fast but it suits them very well. This story will absolutely amaze you with its brilliant plot, fascinating characters, and beautiful romance. It has everything, angst, suspense, mystery.

Gina has steadily been putting her life back together from the tragic roadside bomb from her army days. Gina is comfortable with showing herself from behind a computer but when she gets close to Bryce someone who is prepared to get inside the walls she has built up.
This story was heart warming and engaging, the characters were well developed and I related to Gina’s character and her reluctance to involve herself with Bryce in the beginning. Although she has scars on the outside of her body the ones on the inside are more powerful and more deadly.
The story was well developed and you are gently woven through the backgrounds and the present day for both of the main characters, the secondary characters also add a depth to the story which is great to read. I can’t wait to read more books by this great author.
