Top 10 things I liked about this book (in no particular order)
1. The cover is beautiful 2. The discreet way the reader is taught how to pronounce the name of the dance 3. PTSD is openly acknowledged and spoken about 4. The friendships 5. The visually detailed description of the dance 6. The romance 7. The satisfaction of reading a well written story 8. A strong beginning, middle and end 9. Watching people “lift each other up” 10. The contented feeling when reading the epilogue
The hearts and flames on the cover are they perfect way to represent this book. I did not read this series in order and while I didn’t feel super lost in some parts, I would recommend reading them in order to get the most out of these books. Alexa has it all. She has looks, luck, smarts, and doesn’t need to worry about money. Kent doesn’t want the darkness that pervades his life to tarnish Alexa’s even though he is drawn to her. The connection between the two main characters is palpable and would make this book worth reading if it was just these two going at odds with their emotions. Fortunately, Kristina Beck added so much more. Strangers lurking in the dark threaten Alexa and force Kent to come to terms with his protective instincts and the inescapable pull he feels around Alexa. Also when I read “Your bright light shines through the cracks in my wall” I giggled like the nerd I am and thought about the crack in Amy Pond’s bedroom and wondered if Prisoner Zero would make an appearance.

A great read about struggles. After the events of the last book, Blain was infected by the dark orbs. Desperate to save him, Trinity uses new powers to look for a forgotten god and ask for help. But everything comes with a price, and is it too much to pay? A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Trinity trying to do whats right whilst dealing with new powers or new friends like Kyron and Centu supportive and brave. A spinechilling villain in Cronus I loved the visual detail throughout the novel with the natural imagery of the crisp dawn or the green meadows in the dream so vivid felt as if you were there. I also loved the sense of the elements with ice and fire and air with the wind and the aether aswell was a brillaint addition for a more powerful magical feel to the novel. The contrasts with cold and hot and vivid colours such as black and red or green and blue were perfectly written. I loved how it started straight with the action and Watchers to captivate the reader from the start. I also adored the use of mythology in the book with Cronus and Tarturus true to the original. Fast paced action and high stakes in a fantasy world made for a captivating read.Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

A quick read that was very interesting. I don’t know much about the culture but I really enjoy it. Soumya was too stubborn for me. She assumed way to much. Vir didn’t make it any better. Overall the story held my interest because of its uniqueness. This is my first story by this author and I will be picking up another. Every page was filled with something different. The characters weren’t all the way there but they have potential. I wish the attire was detailed more because it was hard to picture it especially since it’s not something I’m familiar with.

The Something Series boxset contains the first three instalment of Aubrey Bondurant’s Something series: Tell Me Something, Ask Me Something and Bet Me Something. Each story follows a different couple but all revolve around the same friendship group. Set in stylish cities across America, New York City and Las Vegas to name just two, all three of these books are exciting, glamorous and addicting reads. One of my favourite series EVER, I cannot recommend this boxset enough.
If the previous statement didn’t give it away, this review is definitely a little biased. I absolutely love this series and have done from the moment I started reading Hayley and Josh’s story in Tell Me Something. Those two characters, and their dramatic storyline, pulled me in from the very beginning and before I knew it I was hooked. While Josh isn’t the easiest person to love, including for Hayley (!), seeing these two grow closer over the course of the book was so much fun. Being the first couple of the series, they have a special place in my heart and in the series itself; they are the originals! So when I started Ask Me Something, I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive. How were Sasha and Brian going to live up to my expectations? Quite easily, as it turns out, and soon I was obsessed with them, too. This book definitely had a more grown up feel and I loved reading about to adult characters with powerful, high-level careers. The dynamic between the two was so interesting and their passion and charisma was hot. I loved how Brian both pulled Sasha out of her comfort zone and made her feel safe. A lot of love for these two!
Of all the books in the series, Bet Me Something has a special place in my heart. Colby and Kenzie are younger characters who are still trying to figure stuff out, which makes them so much more relatable for me. Another bonus is the friends-to-loves storyline, as this is probably my favourite romance genre. I love the whole ‘childhood crush’ thing Kenzie has for Colby and found myself screaming at Colby to finally admit his feelings for her. This is the perfect angsty read that the series was missing and I have to say, is probably my favourite.
If you’re not already convinced, this is a must-read romance series. I can’t remember how many people I have recommend it to and they have also said they love it. Once you’ve started this series you won’t want to stop, so the boxset is the perfect introduction; trust me, books four and five are just as good! I will never stop re-reading this series and honestly cannot recommend it enough.

5 Star Wish upon a Bollywood Star by Pamela Q Fernandes is a book that draws you in from the beginning and keeps your attention till the end.i love this author’s style of writing and her attention to detail, I felt like I was right there with the characters. Vir Seth and Soumya are both very interesting but the attraction is definitely their even though they both deny it. What does their future look like? Can they even have a future? Find out what happens when they find themselves in the middle of a situation. I highly recommend reading this book. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

A Pink Christmas Kiss is the third Christmas story in Allyson R. Abbott’s Christmas Kiss series. It is a beautiful Christmas romance of second chances that takes place in a small town in the middle of nowhere! You can for sure read it as a standalone. A Pink Christmas Kiss is the story of Billie who left for the big city lights five years earlier and is now back in her small hometown as her dad was no longer able to continue running his auto shop, and of Leroy who never followed Billie even though that is what she had hoped/assumed/wished for. Leroy was her first love and the guys in NYC never managed to fill the hole he had left in Billie’s heart. When these two meet again, the connection is still there … it feels as nothing has changed … they do have a rough start though as Billie always seems to be saying something wrong but it is a Christmas story and their love is so strong and … I am sure you can guess the rest! The writer though takes us on this beautiful journey of two people realizing that they are each other ‘the one’ and no matter what happens … Pick up a copy and make yourself a cup of hot chocolate and read away!

Hope’s Defeat (The Fated Book 3) By: Angela McPherson 5 out of 5 stars
The story Hope’s Defeat (The Fated Book 3) by Angela McPherson is a paranormal/fantasy romance book. This is a book and series that hooked me in and I couldn’t get enough of both the storyline and the characters. It has action, danger, suspense, and romance. When reading this series, it would be best to read in order as each story builds on the next. This story has darkness controlling Blain. The hopes of both himself and Trinity to lead a normal life have been shattered. Trinity is determined to free Blain and struggles to hold onto hope as she feels the weight of guilt and at times helplessness. Trinity, however, is strong, stubborn, and a fighter. Blain and Trinity share a connection, a bond. Will Trinity be able to save Blain? Will the path that she is now traveling on cost Trinity her life? Read this book to find out. This story had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. It also has scenes that had me turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. Some of the characters in the story have been brought forward from the first two books and others are new. I enjoyed reading the dialogue/interactions between them. Don’t miss out on an amazing story that you won’t want to put down until you finish it. The author has done a wonderful job in bringing the characters to life and taking you on a journey that you will not soon forget.

The Something Series – Box Set books 1 -3 by Aubrey Bondurant is a collection of her first three books in The Something Series – Tell me Something, Ask Me something and Bet Me Something.
This was a great opportunity to re-read these great books and re-aquiant myself with the wonderful rich and well loved characters in this series. I would recommend you read this wonderful series, you will not turn back once you have read the first chapter of the first book. You can read them as stand alone books but you get to see insights into the characters so I would read them in order.
Tell me Something – The book starts off being on the set of an advertising company awaiting the model Katrina, Haylee has just gotten a job as an assistant to one of the Vice Presidents so she can save some money to attend Harvard Law.
Her boss then insists she tries to locate the model but after various calls to her agent there is no response. All of a sudden there is an air of tension around the set when the owner of the agency Josh Singer walks in and is not happy that the model is a no show, then the model appears and starts demanding that she is only at the shoot for one hour and that is all the time she can spare.
Haylee then has a deep voice whisper in her ear to record the conversation that is about to happen. Josh then proceeds to send the model away with her tail between her legs and adding that their legal department will sue her for breach of contract. The model then attacks Josh that he can’t prove it and then Haylee announces she has recorded the whole conversation. Once the model storms out Josh has an idea that Haylee would make a great model and be able to do the photo shoot for the campaign.
Haylee agrees and the day goes swimmingly, when she is about to leave she is asked to speak to Josh. Josh then proceeds to ask Haylee if she would like to be his second assistant in New York, Haylee is shocked and asks about living arrangements and other logistics. Josh seems to answer all her questions so she decides to move to New York and work in the head office.
Once she moves into her apartment in New York she discovers that it is owned by Josh and once she starts working for him discovers that they have chemistry between the two of them. Due to Josh’s Assistant having personnel issues that mean he cannot travel on businesses trips, Haylee becomes Josh’s travelling partner, while on one trip to Cancun the chemistry becomes too hot too handle and Josh decides to act on the lust.
As the story goes on you get to understand Haylee’s past and all the great changes and opportunities she has working for Josh and you get an insight in the world of Josh and his reluctance to let Haylee in.
I loved how the author drawers you into the story and that you believe you are part of this fictional world that you also feel like they are your best friends. I enjoyed this book so much that I searched and download the next one in the series to read start after.
Ask Me Something – This book follows the lives of Sasha and Brian. There has always been a spark between them but until one night in Miami where there relationship is about to move from friends into something more, Sasha receives a call which has her abandoning the man she has craved for since they met.
Sasha is then promoted to become VP within Gamble Advertising but there is one problem the job is in New York far away from her comfort blanket of Charlotte and away from her best friend Brian and now her boss.
Roll forward eight years, Sasha and Brian are friends and meet up when then they can. Brian calls to ask Sasha for their usual dinner date when he is in the city but Sasha turns him down saying she has to help her friend Catherine out at speed dating. Once the girls finish at speed dating then Sasha texts Brian there location if he would like to enjoy a drink.
Brian arrives at the restaurant and they seem to be having a great time, then a woman arrives, Brian’s woman and the atmosphere turns icy as the conversation take a nasty turn and Jamie reveals the nickname Josh and Brian call her “Sasha – B -Fierce”, this totally floors Sasha but does not let it show and give Jamie the satisfaction that she has wounded her. As always Catherine shows this woman that she is a formidable character not to cross and slices this interloper down in one sentence.
After the restaurant Sasha goes home and decides to pack for her trip back home for Christmas, after two glasses of wine down a call comes in with the caller ID she has been anticipating, Brian. As the conversation goes he reminders her of Miami and tries to explain that the nickname was in fact a compliment regarding how great she is at the presentations to to their clients. All of a sudden Brian asks for Sasha to let her doorman know he will be there in five minutes and the the feelings are truly discovered and rules are established. Brian then sets in motion a plan to win Sasha’s heart.
I really enjoyed the first book but that was just the starting point. You will follow this book and believe you are in the lives of these characters with each word written. You will have a barrage of emotions with one minute laughing, next crying and then shouting at the e-reader with frustration.
Bet Me Something – McKenzie has been in love with Colby since she was six years old, but will he ever not see her as her brother’s best friend’s sister.
Roll forward to present day and Kenzie has just been hijacked by the fact she is not going to UCLA like she had planned but has been told that her Georgetown application is sorted, the only problem is she did not apply there, her mother. Even being at her own graduation party which she did not want but was forced by her over bearing mother she feels lost and mad, but McKenzie does what a proper lady should do and thanks people for coming and plasters on a false smile until the bitter end. Once the party has finished and she has escaped home she is walking in the garden and decided to go into the old tree house to collect her thoughts when he appears. Colby has always seemed to know when she needs a pick me up, Kenzie explains the night’s events and in a blink of an eye he is proposing to get away and have a weekend in Las Vegas in one of his family’s hotels. McKenzie cannot believe what she is hearing and decides to make this a trip of a life time as they say “What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas”.
So Colby organises the company private jet and they are flying to their destination and Kenzie cannot believe what’s happening, when they arrive it like a whirlwind Colby has organised a suite for them with a huge hot tub and then asks her what she would like to do. Colby arranges dinner and then to go to a club where Kenzie gets drunk and reveals unintentionally her five date rule. The next morning Kenzie gets out of bed with a mother of all hangovers and gingerly asks Colby what happened and what did she reveal, he tells her that she told him her five date rule and she inwardly groans. The next night Colby asks her what she would do and Kenzie asks if they can have a quiet dinner and maybe gamble, so that’s what they do have a lovely meal and then go to the casino within the hotel, until it gets a bit intense when they decide to make a bet if Kenzie wins she gets to have a real kiss from Colby.
Colby loses the bet and has uneasiness when Kenzie decides to redeemed her bet. So they are sitting on the sofa awaiting the kiss, this is what Kenzie has been waiting for forever, their lips move closer and closer until the kiss happens and what happens after shatters Kenzie’s dreams of Colby. The kiss what not good at all and her perfect with Colby had gone, he had a flaw and it broke the illusion of him being a perfect man, but then Colby does a counter bet and asks Kenzie to show him how a kiss is supposed to be, once their lips touch again the spark is ignited in Colby but he then has an internal battle with himself he likes Kenzie but she is not in play.
There is a weave within the story that you will these two people together and you at one point will need tissues. I really enjoyed the first two books but I think this at the moment is the best story so far, you are transported into the story and believe yet again that you are one of their friends. I really can’t wait for the third book and Catherine’s story.

A Pink Christmas Kiss by Allyson R Abbott is the third book in the series and is full of Christmas cheer.
This lovely tale of Christmas, family secrets and romance is a great holiday read, with this short novella. I love the way Allyson’s characters are real and well development. Billie’s character is brilliant and well written, she made a decision a long time ago and ruined a great relationship with the love of her life. She was heart broken when he did not follow her but when she moves back to her home town and ruins into said ex boyfriend the sparks fly.
Will Billie be able to forgive him and rekindle the love they gave up years ago, you will have to read and find out.
This is a story of second chances and can be read as a stand alone story. If you enjoy a well written, detailed story I recommend not just this book but all of the stories from this wonderful author.

For The Love of Laura Beth by Aubrey Wynne is the fourth book in the A Chicago Christmas series. This book is highly emotional and do everything it can to tug at your heat strings. Marriage is hard enough for anyone to navigate. But for Laura Beth and her husband Joe they have to overcome so much that at times it seems utterly impossible. But they haven’t given up fighting yet for the love that once seemed so strong. Will they be able to come out the other side of it? You cannot help but root for these two. They seem to have gone through so much that you want good things to happen for them. The journey they go on throughout this book is heart breaking but also heartwarming. You can see how much they love each other and you can see how hard they work to make things right. I always enjoy this authors writing style but this book definitely caught my attention more than any previous. This is a book well worth reading.

A Frothy Christmas Kiss by Allyson R. Abbott Five Stars
A Frothy Christmas Kiss is the fourth book in the Christmas Kiss Series by Allyson R. Abbott. This like the rest of the stories in the series is a sweet Christmas romance. This short story had me hooked on the very first page and I read the whole bookin one sitting. I love the witty dialog and the fast paced storyline. Brian, the cat, had a hilariously funny roll that brought the whole story together. Kat and Dan have such chemistry, but a lack of communication leaves them confused and dancing around each other. This sweet story left me with a happy feeling, and I highly recommend this story and the whole series.

The Something Series written by Aubrey Bondurant. This box set is filled with book one : Tell Me Something, book two: Ask Me Something and book three: Bet me Something. This was a great series all three book had their own special circumstances and characters. All three stories have strong female leads, even if it is when they feel backed into a corner that they realize how strong they can be to go after what…or who….they want. But will they each succeed….
This is the third novel of the series and can be read as a standalone but i highly recommend the others they were all brilliant! I once again was captivated by the storyline and was unable to set my kindle down until the final page it’s one of those novels you can just get completly lost in and you forget eveything around you , you just end up caught up in their world. I do really enjoy a sweet holiday romance with it’s bumps along the way to keep you hooked and eager to read through the pages. I have fell inlove with this series they really are amazing!!

Souls Collide by Kristina Beck is the third book in her Collide Series and this one just keeps getting better and better. This suspenseful romance follows the story of Alexa and Kent, that just pulls you in from the first page and you won’t be able to get enough of these two. Alexa is a caring, compassionate woman who is fiercely independent, and yet these is something that draws her to her neighbor Kent. He doesn’t seem to show any emotion or even seem to notice that she is a woman by any means and yet she just can’t stay away. Never one to mince her words, Alexa keeps being her indelibly honest personality until she gets under his skin. Kent has spent his life being a police officer, at the expense of every woman in his life, he can’t give up his love of defending the law and so he stays away from romantic entanglements to spare them from his livelihood. As a man who is barely existing, he comes off as unsympathetic and even churlish at times. Then Alexa walks in the room. The sparks that fly between these two from that first meeting will singe the pages. Conflict is how Kent attempts to keep Alexa at bay, and yet the more time they spend together the more that he finds himself wanting to protect her and keep her all to himself. Can these two find a way to put down their swords and give into the passion that everyone else can see between them? Or will the hurt of their pasts keep them from having the romance of a lifetime? Beck is anew to me author, and I am so happy that I picked up this book. Once I realized that it was part of a series, I did gobble up the other two books in this series. I highly recommend that you read this series in order, even though each book can stand on its own merits. If you are looking to get swept away by great characters and an author who will capture your heart than this is one that you need to get today! I hope that Beck keeps writing because I can’t wait to see what she brings to her readers next.
A Pink Christmas Kiss is book three in the Christmas Kiss series by Allyson R. Abbott. This story was another titillating tale that will both delight and entertain. A fantastic holiday read.
Billie was a character that I did not connect with. I found her a little selfish and immature. She did not or could not think of others until it was too late. She was a mixed up woman in need of a stern talking to to realise not everything can go her way, and that it is ok if it doesn’t. Leroy I connected with instantly and always felt that there was more to him than met the eye. He was a deep and complex character, but just wanted a simple life with the one he loved. He was a family man and would do anything for them. Billie did redeem herself in my eyes, and I got the whole melting heart feeling at the end.
A Pink Christmas Kiss was eloquently and emotionally fascinating. High quality writing mixed with a cast of intriguing and realistic characters made for exciting and fulfilling reading. 4 stars.

Beats of the Heart by Charli B. Rose is the first book in her new series Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series, and wow what a fantastic start! Following the story of Izzy and Dawson, who have been best friends for as long as either of them can remember and yet the feelings between them are deeper than that of friendship lately. When they decide to take the step into lovers from friends, their hearts beat as one. Izzy is Dawson’s muse, she makes all of his musical talents possible. Dawson is the only man who has made Izzy feel the way she does. The chemistry between these two is palpable from between the pages, making for some very steamy reading at times. Everything seems to be going perfectly for these two love birds until the darkness starts to roll in and threaten everything, they have worked so hard to achieve. Will these two be able to work together to make it back towards the light, or will this journey as lovers end with broken hearts and empty promises? Rose is a new to me author, but I am so happy that I picked this book up. From the first page I fell into this story, into the world of Izzy and Dawson, and I couldn’t read this one fast enough to satisfy my need. The banter and chemistry between these characters was very well executed, making for a great read. If you are looking for a book that will make you swoon while pulling you into a perfectly written world than this is the one for you. I can’t wait to see where this series goes next!

Snatching Dianna (Feisty Lawyers Book 1) By Seelie Kay
Snatching Dianna is the first book in the Feisty Lawyers by Seelie Kay. With this my first book by this author I was quite open to what I might be reading. But I have to say this book was a nice quick read. I also found this book was well written and the story just flowed throughout the book. If you enjoy books that contain danger, crime and suspense then I am pretty sure this is looking like it will be the series for you. If book one was this great, I can’t wait to see what happens throughout the series. Thank Seelie for a great start to the series.

The Confectioner’s Truth (Confectioner’s Chronicles Book 3) By Claire Luana
The Confectioner’s Truth is the third and final book this series. Please don’t start with book three I wouldn’t recommend them read a standalone. We have the pleasure of meeting some new characters in this book, each one I feel enhances the storyline. Wren went through some time in self-doubt and tries to learn from mistakes she has made. Will she be able to learn and not make the same mistakes again? The only thing I did question was why so many couples, but all in all I enjoyed the book. The thing I liked about this series is I found most of the characters to have their own strengths, I could be wrong but that’s my personal opinion! I really liked how Claire just kept building up this series, sometimes I find the last book in a series to be disappointing, but not with this book. The Confectioner’s Truth has ended this series perfectly. I would also recommend anyone and everyone to read this series, you won’t be disappointed.

Phew! Heart stopping, emotionally charged romance… Wine does it again. Yet another fantastic literary offering in the Surviving Series. The author has a distinct, riveting voice and is able to immediately connect her audience with her story. The characters are relatable and complex. Overall this book is one I couldn’t put down and I will highly recommend it.

I totally absolutely no doubt about it love this author and anything she writes. This one right here might just be one of my favorites, which is saying a lot because everyone of them are out of this world amazing!
I loved this storyline and the character building was awesome. I was an absolute mess through most of this book…I was either laughing uncontrollably, or my heart was breaking, or through most of it I was swooning over the sweetness of Theo and Hadley together, and the way Hadley’s family was with them. One of my favorite lines was “ Your dad put me in time out” LOL
This book was exactly what I needed after some of the heavier books I’ve been reading lately and I already can’t wait to read it again.
This is one of those stories that deserve more than 5 stars 🙂
Beats of the Heart Charli B. Rose is the first book in the Lyric Odyssey Rockstars series. This book is part one of two, the second book will continue the story of Izzy and Dawson. This book is a great rockstar romance. It has everything you could want – best friends, lovers, angst. I love the fact that the author knew enough about these characters to see their story couldn’t be told in just one book. It ensures that nothing about this story felt rushed. It was paced it well with great flow. And the characters are such interesting ones to read about. Izzy and Dawson honestly left my head spinning. I absolutely cannot wait to see what cook two holds in store for them.

Leaving Jackson Wolf by P.A. Kane is a brilliant coming of age novel. This if the first book I have read by this author and I am blown away by how amazing it was. It is a unique story of two young boys, friends to only each other, on the outskirts of the teenage society. This novel really explores what their life is like and true troubles they have to face in a daily basis. Everything about this book is the two characters. It is entirely their story being told. The author really goes into them in great depth, without really any distractions from the story or other characters. He really knows how to grab your attention as well. The blurb is purposely vague and doesn’t really give away what to expect. It does nothing to prepare you for how deeply you will get sucked into this novel. A brilliant story, one I will be thinking about for a long time.

“A Tangy Christmas Kiss” is the second novella in the Christmas Kiss series by Allyson R. Abbott, but these are stand alones so they do not need to be read in any particular order that I’ve seen so far. This lovely story follows Mel, whose mother called last minute to get Mel to Spain to help her aunt after a surgery. Mel’s trip shows her the kindness of strangers and learning to accept help when it is offered as she figures out she isn’t as independent as she thought. The great lessons, wonderful characters and scenery all make this story perfect for Christmas! As an animal lover, the smaller theme of animals that seems to crop up in both books is a great added touch! These easy to read stories make for a nice afternoon in on a cold winter day! So, I give “A Tangy Christmas Kiss” four stars! Reviewed by @emilybee430

Leaving Jackson Wolf is a young adult novel by P.A. Kane about a teenage boy coming of age. This is a genre that I very seldom read but was intrigued by the blurb and decided to give this novel a try. I must add that I’m so glad I did. I really enjoyed this story. Jackson Wolf is a biracial (Black mother and white father) teenage boy growing up in a predominantly white area. His mother walked out years ago leaving Jackson with his alcoholic father Mickey. Let’s just say that Mickey will not be winning any Father Of The Year awards. Mickey is violent towards Jackson and can often be racist towards his son. I really found Jackson to be a very inspiring young man. He’s had a really crappy start to life but he has a really wise head on his shoulders and has a fantastic outlook on life. His growing friendship with James McDougal, who has been the object of many school bullies is a very large part of this story and I loved reading about their friendship and how they both grew to rely on each other and supported each other through some very hard times. When the 2 boys first interacted with one another, you would never have guessed that they would become firm best friends. This is a really heart-warming read about coming of age and I’m really glad I stepped away from my usual tried and trusted genres and gave this book a chance.

“A Prickly Christmas Kiss” by Allyson R Abbott is the first book in the Christmas Kiss series. This short and sweet novella follows Elf (Emma’s perfect nickname) and her Christmas adventure at a cabin in the woods outside of North Polerton. Elf was so happy to be spending Christmas with her friend Carla’s family cabin, until her perfect plans all fell apart. What happens is so much more than she was expecting and everything she needed. This story has all the magic of Christmas and all the fun as well! The setting, characters and perfect time of year help make this book a wonderful little read. I really enjoyed reading “A Prickly Christmas” and look forward to reading the rest of the series! So, I give “A Prickly Christmas Kiss” four stars! Reviewed by @emilybee430

Seelie Kay just took my breath away. Snatching Dianna is the story that I fear the most. I have three daughters and I fear that they will be snatched and made into slave trafficking/sex trafficking. This story (I know it is fiction) could very well happen. Seelie Kay made me want more and more but at times I found myself making cringing faces because of the content. There are many twists and turns which kept me on my toes. I do not know how long it took to read the book because I was that enthralled with the story line. Thank you, Seelie Kay I loved this story and cannot wait for the next book.
Snatching Dianna is a suspense, action, adventure, and danger. Dianna Murphy is a law student who is missing. Her law professor, Janet is worried as she found a piece of evidence that Dianna may have been taken by a slave trafficking cartel. Will Janet find Dianna or will it be too late?

This is one of those books that the synopsis alone had me hooked. I always love a little taboo here and there so this was one I was ready to devour.
Both Theo and Eden are both suffering from loss. Both are clouded with grief and have a way of handling it different. Theo met grief early on in life while with Eden its fresh. Theo is a very well known psychiatrist and takes Eden on as a patient (she’s the daughter of one of his friends). Almost immediately he realizes this won’t be easy. They both have this pulse and electric energy between them that neither one can deny. I went into this book really thinking that the age difference was the taboo bit (13 years) but I think it’s more about the Doctor / patient aspect that’s more of the taboo.
The writing and flow of the story was beautifully done. There were things that surprised me and I love that it wasn’t predictable. I cannot wait to dive into book 2 and see where this series takes me!
