Although it was a bit slower at the beginning, it picked up quick about 25% through and I couldn’t put it down. I fell in love with Ross and Hadley’s characters right away. And enjoyed watching their dynamics/relationship progress throughout. I have yet to read the first 3 in this central Florida stories series but now plan to. (They can be read as standalone’s). Also, really loved that it wasn’t just “kink” but they did some education on subjects and explained things quite nicely and respectfully.
Definitely intended for more mature audiences(read the trigger warnings).

This is the first book in the Gumshoe Mysteries series, a wonderful young adult book. I do enjoy a good young adult story, and this one surpassed my expectations. I was expecting a fun easy read and it delivered. But in addition, I also got and engaging story with a unique plot and a familiar which partially reminded me of Salem from my favourite childhood tv show! The characters are well-written, and entertaining making them completely lovable. Mia and Gumshoe were brilliant characters working towards their goal, and I was glad to have been along for the ride! I cannot wait to get my hands on more from the series.

Eebun and Noah’s story is bittersweet. They start by meeting in airports. By the third meeting, they are venturing into the world. The big challenge is that she is trying not to die.Her half-brothers are out to kill her. It’s a story with emotions, challenges and a couple of substories. It’s beautiful, sad, and a few other emotions. I found that I couldn’t put it down. I really wanted to see how it was going to end up because they had a few obstacles to overcome. It’s a book worth reading.

The is book 2 of 2 in the Boudin, Barbecue, and Hoodoo series by Reggi Dupree and she did not disappoint. I absolutely loved the first one (and you need to go read it before you pick this one up) and all of the characters are back at it again (well…for the most part) but some have newfound powers and others are coming to terms with things. I absolutely love Dupree’s character development and her plot line is action packed! I would classify this as a paranormal mystery but there is plenty of humor and wit to lighten it up. Love love love this book! All the characters and the plot twists, it’s wonderfully written, and the relationships. I have a lot of questions but I love this book series and I would absolutely love this made into a movie or TV show.
This was a charming romantic story. I enjoyed the author’s writing style. This is the third book in this series but it can be read as a standalone. Riley is a single mom trying her best to take care of her son, Dylan. Dylan is adorable and I think he made the story that much better. Mitch and Riley take some time to realize how they feel about each other because neither one was looking for a relationship. This book has family, love, laughter, romance all in a Christmas setting which made it a great read. I recommend this book, you do not want to miss out on this charming story.

What an emotion filled read!! This book can absolutely be read as a stand alone, but I can tell you right now that I am going to be going back through this authors other novels so I can read more about Logan and her adventures! I am dying to know more about this family tree and the intricacies of each personality.
This author puts amazing detail into the characters. They are easily relatable and you feel as if you have known them for a lifetime. The plot just adds to the characters. The action leaves you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire novel. Everyone is pointing their fingers at Wade, but is he really the one at blame? He does disappear as soon as his bond is posted, so there must be some sort of guilt eating at him. I guess you will just have to read to find out! I’m so glad I did.

Sarge by Stuart Ledwith is a wonderfully written Fantasy Adventure that takes on a journey through the life of a young man who goes by Sarge. This is a fast paced short story that is packed with action, adventure, drama, romance, military missions and so much more. This is a fairly new author to me but I like their style of writing and attention to detail. He poured his heart into this story and you can feel it with each page you read. This story shows us the life of Sarge and what he went through to get to where he’s at. I highly recommend reading this book before reading Mission 3047 so you get a better understanding of what he’s gone through but you can certainly read it after if you’ve already read it. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Whether or not the magic had anything to do with it I don’t know, but I like to think that it did. Hwarang was a good side character and all three of them were great together. Akinosho is a sweet, ‘meet cute’ romance that tells a tale of fated love, second (third, and fourth) chances, secrets, drama, cultural differences, challenges, danger, emotion, and more. Our MC’s are in the hands of fate from an early age. Meeting several times over the years before finally getting the ‘message’. But, even then, the author doesn’t make it too easy for them, making them work for their chance at happiness. The story is sweet, but also interwoven with secrets, drama, angst, and danger which makes the book all the more engrossing. This book does do a lot of time jumps, and switches from first to third person POV. The beginning to me was really slow and it took me a while to get into the book. However, it is relatively short and a quick read. It wasn’t my speed, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be yours, so if you’re someone who enjoys suspense and thrillers, give it a shot!
Aspen is a college student ready to be out of her parents house, both are making a disaster of a marriage and their daughters are done with it. A creative surfer full of plans to be an independent sales woman along with her sister can look at the future with happiness.
Phoenix is ready to be the best football player of the history and having none of his fathers shadow to bother him, although his grandfather does and it is a constant reminder of a tight leash. With this twin by his side this thing is an easy piece of cake, not to mention that the underground fighting can be the money injection needed to help his mom.
Now in a springtime moment Aspen met Phoenix in a beach party and hit it right off. This right before of both making the moment a little bit awkward after and declaring the war of distance between them.
Oh but life is not that easy for these students who are about to begin the lifetime adventure not only of their careers but of their existence.

Wow, this story is fantastic. Celestina and Dingo aka Frank and the chemistry they have and the story they bring…wow. Fractured Hearts is book 7 of the Grimm Wolves MC and this book and series is fantastic. The author really grabs you from beginning to end and I loved that no only we get to be part of the Grimm Wolves expanding family but also having Devils Handmaidens included is just a great bonus.
Dingo aka Frank is prospect for the Grimm Wolves and wants to be part of this family. Dingo hides behind pain and puts up a facade of being fun, but also puts himself down. When he goes to meet a woman online, Celestina, their attraction is second to none. Dingo wants to protect Celestina at all costs but has to know the truth…what is Celestina running from and why….
Celestina is on the run, trying to protect herself from her crazy and cruel family. Meeting Dingo aka Frank may be her ticket to freedom, but her attraction toward him comes with a guarded heart. As Celestina gives pieces of her past that the Grimm Wolves are aware of, no only do they do their thing of protecting her but their entire Grimm Wolves family as well. House of Blood and Whispers was a thrilling adventure. It was full of action, heat, and drama. I quickly read this story. It was easy to get sucked into the romance and plan to take out the emperor. I’m guessing there will be a sequel because a few things were talked about in the book that were left unfinished. I need answers lol. I thought it was well written. Something anyone could get into. There are a few triggering topics in the story so definitely prepare yourself if you need to.

4.5 stars Themes OF Kismet: A Multicultural Meet Cute Romance was a delightful read. I have not read anything from A. Akinosho before and I was pleasantly surprised. It reminded me a bit of the movie Serendipity. They say third time’s a charm but, in this case, “fourth time’s a charm” in this little gem of a story. Our characters meet several times throughout their lives, but it is the fourth time that they won’t let anything stand in their way. Kismet has a lot to answer for in this tale. Kismet is a finical and persistent creature and not to be trifled with when it comes to love. Unfortunately, Noah and Ebun’s journey is not sunshine and roses. This lovely romance story is a twisty road to love. Being from different cultures plays a lot in the story but it makes for a sweet tale. The characters are well developed and A. Akinosho writing style make this a charming tale. It has all the feels and is filled with drama, angst, betrayal, lies, secrets, frustrations, hopes, dreams and humour but let’s not forget the danger that is lurking just around the corner. If you like a sweet romance tale, then Themes OF Kismet is for you.

The Mating Haze was good. It’s the second book I’ve read in this shifter romance series. The author brings you into a new world. If you like shifter novels this series should be a go to. Yes it’s a series however they could be read as standalone novels as well. Trigger and his step-father have made it to Wyoming with every intention to help a lion-shifter community in need. But are they really helping? Trigger is feeling fulfilled but his world soon gets turned upside down. Not only has he received his mating call, but some things have been said that have caused him to open his eyes. He started to open his eyes to who his stepfather is and what he’s been doing. He enjoys helping but for a good cause and he has every intention of helping Laramie get her boutique up and running. Laramie can’t say no to helping out her family, which has put her dreams of opening a boutique on hold. Though she’s consistently planning what she’s going to do with the store and space. That is till the mating call hits her, she’s ready and willing to meet her mate. Little did she realize he would be right under her nose. Or that he wanted to help make her dream a reality. She has such high hopes for what they initially said to her, till she has a sit down with his step dad. Now she’s feeling uneasy. How does she handle that when it comes to Trigger? The author weaves a web that brings certain characters full circle. Also displays the growth between the two main characters that you want in a good book. You should check it out.
I am absolutely blown away by this book!! I have enjoyed every book I’ve read from this author, but this one was the most captivating yet. The flow of the story is flawlessly magnificent with a special spin that is so refreshing. There is drama, action, and a rollercoaster of emotions that will pull you in from the very beginning. I was immediately invested in each character and couldn’t read fast enough to find out what happened. If you love romantic fantasy books with twists and turns as well as plenty of action, this is a must read for you!

Great story, full of twist and turns. It will have you guessing to the end. Engaging storyline with plenty of details. This the second book but you can follow with the story just fine. I would recommend reading book one to gain more knowledge of the characters. Recommend this for young readers as well as those who love a great mystery.

Ross met Hadley through his brother Steve. Steve and Hadley were dating but, Hadley really didn’t know any better. She came From a messed up family. All she really knew was Steve and his mother Abigail. Abigail always treated Hadley like her own daughter and they had a special bond. One crazy night, Ross is home from the service and Steve is out of control. He decides he’s leaving and takes Hadley with him. By going with him, her life changes for the worse for the next few years until she reaches out to Ross! Hadley is literally being tortured physically and sexually. Ross of course chooses to rescue her and be the hero. It was never a doubt. He always had feelings for her but she was much too young for him and aside from that, she was his brothers girl. Now, Nothing will stand in his way carrying out the request she writes in her letter accept there’s a tiny chance. Not only is he coming for Lacey but, he’s not leaving without Hadley. I really don’t understand how someone can go from that type of abuse to playing in that daddy dom / middle / little play. Just a bit strange. All In all I thought the book was pretty good.

Lies That Bind is the 6th book in the thrilling Logan McKenna Series. This one finds Logan in Oregon working on the renovation of her and Ben’s newly purchased vacation home. Once again, Logan is thrown into the midst of a homicide investigation. This book is very aptly named as there are so many lies told throughout the book (from the flashbacks of the early 1930s, the flashbacks of the 1970s, along with the present day) that have a lasting effect on those directly and indirectly involved. Reading this, I had many “a-ha” moments as things fell into place in my mind. It was a very exciting read. Valerie Davisson has a wonderful way of writing that allows the reader to become immersed in the story and invested in the characters. The characters are truly unique and diverse; Lies That Bind includes rumrunners, socialites, Southern belles, and a New York City lawyer. Another great book by Valerie Davisson!
