Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4) by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Jessica Leombruno

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4)Badge Bunny by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Badge Bunny a person who dates A LOT of cops; is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery and my first book by this author. I love small town romance because secrets are never secrets for long.

Chris and Brynne don’t like each other much at first or should I say Brynne doesn’t care for Trooper A**Hat at first. When Chris and Brynne stopped bickering and let their feeling move forward, it was an emotional sweet cute story. There is so much to this story other than two people meeting and falling in love.

If the first three books are anything like this enjoyable funny slow burn Rom Com than I need to go back and start this series from the beginning, this group of friends are hilarious.

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth, #4) by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Denise Owens

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4)Badge Bunny by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Badge Bunny is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series, and it is a contemporary romance novel by K.L. Montgomery. It is the story of a 29 year old young man named Christopher “Chris” Everson. Chris is a Delaware State Trooper who has lived in the Rehoboth Beach community since he was adopted at the age of 8 years old. Both of Chris’ birth parents were killed in a car accident by a drunk driver. One of the reasons that Chris became a State Trooper is so that he can arrest as many drunk drivers as he can, so that he can try to prevent these drunk drivers from killing any more innocent people and ruining any more lives. Chris is also the author of a successful series of children’s books under the pen name of C.J. Evans. Chris has kept the fact that he is a children’s book author a secret from all of his friends and family, even going so far as to wear a disguise when he appears at book signings. He knows that if they were ever to find out that he was a children’s book author that they would forever give him a really hard time, and even call him names. As part of Chris’ job as State Trooper he sometimes must accompany accident victims or people who have been assaulted to the Lewes Hospital Emergency Room. On one of these occasions occurs when Chris meets a very attractive female ER physician named Dr. Brynne Miller, MD, whom he mistakingly assumes is a nurse in the ER. When Chris tries to ask Brynne out on a date since he is very attracted to her and can’t stop thinking about her, she refuses him and says that she will never date another cop again. Chris is determined to change Brynne’s mind about going out on a date with him.

This story is also about Dr. Brynne Miller, MD, who is a 32 year old physician in the ER at the Lewes Hospital in Lewes, Delaware. Brynne has worked in the Lewes Hospital’s ER for several years and loves everything about her job except the crazy hours that she has to work. Brynne moved to Lewes so that she could be closer to her older brother, Ben, and his wife, Jamie, who are the only family that she has. Brynne’s parents divorced when she was a senior in high school, and neither parent has remained in hers or her brother’s lives since she left for her freshman year of college. Brynne has recently broken up with a man named Todd, who is a police officer who she met in the course of her job. Brynne says that she meets most of the men that she dates in the ER, and most of the men happen to be cops. In fact, due to the fact that Brynne dates so many cops, her friends and acquaintances in the ER have nicknamed her a “Badge Bunny”. After Brynne meets Christopher Everson in the ER and he asks her out on a date the next time she sees him there, she tells him that she won’t date any more cops because she believes that they are arrogant, sexist, jerks – she also doesn’t want to be called a “Badge Bunny”, but she doesn’t tell him that. Even though she believes that Chris is also one of those jerk cops, and even calls him, “Trooper Asshat” to herself when she thinks about him, Brynne is still thinking about him, which bothers her a lot, and recognizes that she is physically attracted to him even if she doesn’t want to be. Will Chris be able to convince Brynne that he is not a jerk like those other cops that she has dated, and get her to go out on a date with him?

I very much enjoyed this fourth book in the “Romance in Rehobeth” series by K.L. Montgomery. Even though I have read all of the books in the series, it is not necessary to have read them to enjoy this stand-alone romance novel. I really liked that the author has the characters of Chris and Brynne tell the story from each of their perspectives, too. Brynne is a strong and very smart woman, and Chris doesn’t fit into the category of a “typical” cop, since he is also a children’s book author, which is another reason that I really enjoyed this book. I also like reading more about the couples that I’ve met in some of the author’s previous books in this series. I definitely recommend this book to readers who enjoy a good romance novel as much as I do.

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth, #3) by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Denise Owens

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth #3)Plot Twist by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Plot Twist is the third book in the Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery, and it is a contemporary romance novel. The story is about a woman who is 32 years old named Lindy Larson, who lives in Lewes, Delaware, and she is an English teacher at The Delmarva Academy. Lindy lives with her elderly parents, and takes care of them since they have medical issues and memory problems. Lindy decides to audition for a part in an original play called “Yo Ho Rehoboth”, written by local author, Claire Reilly, and her husband, Jack, who is a music teacher at The Delmarva Academy. The play is to open in 8 weeks. Since Lindy has the summer off and has nothing better to do, she decides to audition for the musical along with her friends Megan and Heather. Lindy loves Broadway shows and has a beautiful singing voice, but she is very insecure about her appearance since she is overweight and considers herself to be fat, uncoordinated, and unattractive. Lindy doesn’t expect to get any type of leading role because of her appearance, even though many people have complimented her on her amazing singing voice. Lindy ends up being cast in the chorus as do Heather and Megan, but she is extremely nervous about learning the choreography since she has always had a difficult time with dance. On the night of the cast introductions Lindy notices the quite handsome and very fit man named Meric, who is one of the male leads in the musical. But Lindy feels that someone who is so confident and good looking as Meric could never be interested in a fat, boring woman like her.

The story is also about a man who is recently divorced, whose name is Meric Chandler, who is 35 years old, and is an accountant. Meric’s ex-wife, Suzanne, and his ex-best friend, Bryan, (who was also his business partner in their accounting firm), were caught together in Suzanne and Meric’s bed by Meric, and Suzanne is now pregnant with Bryan’s child; as soon as the divorce was final, Suzanne and Bryan got married. Meric is not planning on having a romantic relationship any time soon, and he certainly isn’t going to have a backstage romance, especially since that’s the way he met his ex-wife, Suzanne. Meric is auditioning for one of the lead roles in “Yo Ho Rehoboth” since he is a great tenor, and has been in many community musical theater productions. Meric is good friends with Drew, the owner of the Delmarva Art Connection where the play will be performed, and where Meric has starred in other musicals. Meric ends up being cast as one of the male leads in the play, and on the night of the cast introductions he notices a pretty woman in the chorus named Lindy, but he also notices that she appears to be quite shy and that she gets embarrassed very easily. Will Meric and Lindy become friends by opening night, or will their mutual attraction for one another lead to a romantic relationship?

I really enjoyed this novel by K.L. Montgomery. I enjoyed the way she wrote the novel by letting Lindy and Meric tell the story in their alternating points of view. All of the characters are multi- dimensional and interesting, and even though this book is the third in a series, it can be read as a stand- alone book. I definitely would recommend this book if you love reading romance novels.

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4) by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Jana Teppih

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4)Badge Bunny by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Badge Bunny is the fourth book in K.L. Montgomery’s Romance in Rehoboth series. As it can be read as a standalone then this is what I did – I was intrigued by the title and the synopsis and thought, hi, let’s see what spin the writer will take us on! And of course, she did not disappoint! I absolutely love stories with strong and independent heroines that are not waiting around to be saved! Add to this a bit of humour and comedy and what else does one need – you have a top notch Rom Com/Enemies to Lovers story!
Badge Bunny is the story of the ER doctor Brynne Miller aka the ‘Badge Bunny’ and Chris Everson who is a state trooper and who managed to piss off Brynne within 2 seconds of meeting her! So how do you get over that first impression that is compounded with follow up meetings where Chris manages to annoy the heck out of Brynne? Well, you put them together in major crisis that simply demands that they need to work together to handle it!
I think I need to pick up the first three books of the series as I absolutely fell in love with that tears and laughter combination and real life size and believable characters!

The Flip (Romance in Rehoboth #2)The Flip by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Flip by K.L. Montgomery a four-star read that you will flip over. This is the second book in the Romance in Rehoboth series and they are all stand-alone but do feature characters from the series, I have read it as part of the series and enjoyed it as such. I would have loved to have given this five-stars as it’s a really great story, but something stopped me, and I can’t put my finger on it. Overall it was great, but there are just a couple of moments that let it down for me. But that being said there are some of the greatest moments in this that involve an alligator ever written, you will be laughing out loud with this one. Sonnet and Andrew have a romance written in the stars, but it takes a lot to see the stars sometimes. I am excited to read this whole series.

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Series Book #4) by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Angela Hayes

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4)Badge Bunny by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Badge Bunny is the latest instalment in the ‘Romance in Rehoboth’ series by K.L Montgomery. It is such a great Rom Com/Enemies to Lovers story- and has taken top billing as my favourite of Ms. Montgomery’s books, so far. It could definitely be read as a standalone, even though it is the fourth book in the collection, as the series is made up of standalone stories- each book centres on its own particular couple, but the common factor is that the stories are all are set against the backdrop of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. But, I really do recommend reading all the other books too- because they are wonderful stories in their own rights.
Brynne Miller is a busy ER Doctor, who has a penchant for a man in uniform, dating so many that she’s earned the nickname of “Badge Bunny’ (which she hates). But, Brynne has decided that they’re all the same, full of themselves- and has sworn off them all.
Chris Everson is a State Trooper who is a bit of a man’s-man. There is a lot more to him than meets the eye. His job means he frequents the ER on ‘business’. He’s immediately attracted to Brynne, but she is quite prickly and doesn’t give him a chance.
Brynne’s first impression of Chris was less than impressive- he annoys and frustrates her. But these two find themselves at the same wedding- and a major crisis demands that they work together to handle the situation.
With them both keeping things close to their chests, what happens when everything is revealed? Will Brynne let go of her first impression of Chris, admit that she’s attracted to him, and give him a chance? Does romance ever stand a chance of developing?
As I have said many times now, Ms. Montgomery is a masterful storyteller- easily able to tempt readers into her story and keep them completely hooked right from the beginning, till the very last word. I love how her story depicts characters that are realistic, believable, and relatable…. The fact that characters from other books also make appearances, is just the icing on the cake- getting to glimpse a little of what’s happening in their life too.
Superb!

Thank you, Ms. Montgomery!

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4) By K.L. Montgomery – Review by Melissa Agena

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4)Badge Bunny by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

My favorite so far! Badge Bunny is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series by KL Montgomery. You can read this book as a standalone. You don’t need to read the first three to enjoy this book! However, the characters in the other books are featured in this story. In this story we meet up with Dr. Brynne Miller and Corporal Chris Evanston. Brynne is a doctor in the emergency room and Chris is a state trooper that becomes enamored with Brynne while bringing a victim in to the E.R. At this point, Brynne has sworn off ALL cops! Her co-workers have deemed her “Badge Bunny.” But this story is all about understanding that not everyone is as they seem. Turns out that Brynne isn’t as tough as she comes off as and Chris isn’t the womanizer that Brynne thinks he is. Although Chris is harboring a secret he is determined to show Brynne that he really is just a nice guy. Happenstance has them paired up at a wedding and from there is when they learn more about each other and just how much they are great together. Their banter is great and their connection is sizziling. I love the interaction between them and the other characters from the other books. I loved finding out Chris’s secret because it’s definitely not what you think. This book also covers bi-racial marriage and adoptions. This author really knows how to capture the reader and she also knows how to keep them interested. I honestly couldn’t put this down. I would definitely recommend this book!

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth #3)Plot Twist by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Plot Twist by K L Montgomery is the third book in the Rehoboth series and follows the story of Lindy and Merc and how something happens when you least expect it.

There is a new production coming to town and Lindy is normally backstage but her friends are determined to help her and get her to audition for the main show, the only thing is being a plus size girl she would rather just blend into the background.

Merc is just getting over his divorce and is now the lead in this production he is trying not to get involved with anyone in the production because that’s never really worked well for him in the past but there is just something about Lindy that just want leave him alone.

The story goes through the twists and turns of the relationship and the chemistry of these two characters just jumps off the page. I love the witty, sassy comebacks from these two will have you laughing out loud. I love the books by this author and with the well written story and brilliant developed characters will have you downloading the rest of the series.

AHH! I love this series and author! I was so excited to read this book and it doesn’t disappoint! You can read each book as a separate standalone but they truly awesome books that you don’t want to miss out on.

Brynne is an ER doctor that kind of has a thing for cops. She has dated numerous cops which has caused her co workers give her the nickname badge bunny. She’s finally over the whole cop thing when Chris (a state trooper) enters the picture. Their first meeting isn’t ideal but now they are in the wedding party of two of their friends and hilarious interactions continue!

I loved this book from the very first page and was sad when it ended. I love all the characters in each of these books but Brynne and Chris are probably my Favorite!!!

K.L. Montgomery’s Badge Bunny is the fourth book within the Romance in Rehoboth series. This romantic comedy was fun of snarky banter, sexy innuendos, lusty forbidden thoughts and then the dam breaks. I really liked some of the tiny details that were added within this story to give it something more with a little bit of flair. The references to “bunny” in this story were absolutely hilarious and loved it. The story flowed without any detours and I enjoyed the pacing. K.L. Montgomery is excellent with her ingenuity of this series and each of the individual characters as their stories unfold. This story is my favorite within the set, so far.

Badge Bunny is Book 4 in the Romance In Rehoboth Series by K.L. Montgomery and was such a great read. Chris Everson is a state trooper who happens to run into a Dr named Dr Brynne Miller who he is immediately attracted to. Chris makes a horrible first impression and Brynne doesn’t give him the time of day. Brynne has a nickname in the hospital which is Badge Bunny but she is done with Cops / Troopers. They are all the same.

When Chris and Brynne keep running into eachother it becomes harder and harder for Brynne to keep her distance.
What her and Chris do not know, is they are both in a bridal party together.

Things go wrong at the wedding and Chris and Brynne are the two people who step up to take care of the 50 or so guests at the wedding. What happens when they lean on eachother for support during the time they are all stranded? Will they both feel the same when they are on land safe and sound?
This is definitely a book you do not want to pass up on. Grab your copy today! I haven’t read all of the books in the series and completely loved it so it can be read as a stand-alone.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Badge Bunny by K. L. Montgomery is a five star novel. I love when I get to read a series like this. Being the fourth book in the series, it is typically safe to assume you would miss something without reading the others. Although there are tie-ins and deeper connections to minor characters, this could be read as a standalone. I have thoroughly enjoyed every book I have read by this author. Her writing style is witty, charming, and hilarious. I love the back and forth banter that occurs between the characters and their love hate relationship. Brynne is the cute doctor in the emergency room. She is always chasing after the officers that bring in her patients. But after this last one, she is ready to swear off the badge and not date another officer ever again. Then Chris shows up. She is not impressed and only ups her resolve to find some other kind of man to date. But even though she seems to despise everything about him, she can’t get Chris out of her mind and he somehow just keeps showing up in unlikely situations. Then she realizes that maybe she shouldn’t swear off the badge just yet. Maybe one more cop wouldn’t hurt.

This is a super cute story. I love the page turning writing that is KL Montgomery.

Plot Twist is book 3 in the Romance in Rehoboth series. Even though I am not an actress or into the theater productions, I really enjoyed reading this story.

Lindy is the over weight sweet pretty girl who doesn’t think she has what it takes to be the lead in the play. With a little convincing from Merick, Lindy takes a risk and becomes a sassy woman. When Merick needs a little convincing, Lindy is there offering her support. These two don’t see that they could be so much more together.

I love how Montgomery pulls these two together. There are feelings all over this story. Hopes and dreams through the play production, romance through the relationships, hard situations through the aging parents, hilarity through the dog stealing situation.

I can definitely recommend this story. Good read.

I’m not positive but Im thinking that this is my favorite so far in the Rehoboth series. Its hard because I have loved every one of them but this one was special I think. I loved this book and Chris and Brynne were awesome and I loved their story.

I love the way they started, I loved the way they interacted from that encounter to all of the scenes that followed. Chris’s secret was completely unique and not something I would have ever guessed and I loved it. I loved how others from the previous books were right there through a lot of it as well. One of my favorite parts of the story was Brynnes brother Ben and his wife Jamie and sweet little Harmony, that whole story made me smile.

The twists and turns were placed perfectly as usual and the message of facing your fears head on was very clearly described and had me on the edge of my seat for a bit. I wanted to smack both of them a few times, they made me so mad, but they also made me laugh more than once. The scene with him speaking about his dolphin had me rolling.

Once again this author has done nothing but make me fall more in love with her writing, her stories are smooth and flow so easily and before you know it you are done and are left always wanting more.

I highly recommend this book, this whole series which you don’t absolutely have to read in order but I highly suggest you do because its simply awesome and I can’t even recommend this author enough…She is hands down one of my absolute favorites and an automatic one click.

Loved it!!

Feeling like I’m learning each one of them personally with smiles and laughter throughout. What a great read. Was a book that you don’t want to put down. So, I read this after reading all of the other Rehoboth books because I am a backwards kind of person I guess…and it was ok to do that, I would have preferred to read them in order but I didn’t so will have to just go with it 🙂 This whole series very loosely intertwines by characters from all of the books popping in here and there all the way through, but they do not have to be read in order, each one could be considered a stand alone, but no matter how you do it, do yourself a favor and read them all.

I loved this book but that’s no surprise because this author is like AMAZING and I don’t even have to read a synopsis or look at a book cover to know that it’s just automatic..If her name is on it…I read it!

This one touched me in a completely different way then the rest…Connecting to the main character was simple as there were times in my life I was in a position that I felt like all of the words and feelings in this book were my own. I found myself getting so angry at Claire and just wanting to slap her, but on the other hand I really felt like she was very strong and confident in who she was even when she wasn’t happy with how she looked. I really loved how this story was told and how real everything felt. I appreciated the building of friendships and I especially liked that there was no love at first site, I really truly never got a feel for what might happen and with who till the very end, and this was different…Normally it is very apparent what will happen and who it will happen with. I laughed out loud many times throughout as well…Her comebacks to messages received cracked me up.

I loved it, and would highly recommend it and will. Many thanks to this author for giving me all the feels, even those I am no longer comfortable with and writing a story that was not only very real but was so easy to connect with.

What a cute and funny romance! Plot Twist is Book 3 in the Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery. Although this is the 3rd book in the series you can read this as a standalone. However, characters from the other books are in this one so my suggestion is to read in order. Lindy is a curvy, quiet teacher by day but on stage is where she really shines. Meric is an Accountant that loves to be the spotlight! Meric wasn’t looking for anything but fun seeing as though he is coming out of a marriage. That is until he heard Lindy sing. Lindy has the most beautiful voice. Both of them have auditioned for a musical at the community theater. Lindy’s only problem is her self-confidence except when it comes to her singing. She is a bit on the heavier side and she thinks that she is just plain clumsy. Meric is so enamored by her that he befriends her. He truly does see her and along the way helps her come out of her shell. They are super sweet together and the connection that they have is amazing. This book is definitely a HEA. There isn’t any graphic sexy scenes but just like the other books, this story doesn’t need it. I love how the author uses plus size female character leads. There aren’t many authors out there that do. It makes this story very relatable and in turn a page turner! I would definitely recommend this book!

WOW! K.L. Montgomery hit the nail on the head with Fat Girl! I was seriously enthralled with this book being a plus sized woman myself this hit home in a really good way! Claire is pushing 40 and has just recently become a single mom because she just went through a divorce. Not having the right self-esteem can hurt someone. However, when you have a gay bestie who just happens to be a therapist…well let’s just say that closing out her 30’s with a bang is on her way! Re-learning how to take better care of yourself physically and mentally can be a true struggle. One that most women fight with on a daily basis, no matter their size. Not Claire though…this woman takes it in stride and fights with everything she has. This book is funny and charismatic. I loved every bit of this book! It was also relatable, which in turn made this story a page-turner! I couldn’t put this book down! THE STRUGGLE IS DEFINITLEY REAL! Let’s get to the part where Claire tries to find love. Again, something that I can relate to because when you have to turn to online dating, which is becoming more and more popular, it’s still difficult. I can totally vouch for this! So all in all, this book is awesome! I have already started telling people about this book. I can’t wait to read more from this author and I hope they are all like this one!

This is a cute romantic comedy. It is book three in the Rehoboth series but can be read as a stand-alone. The story takes place during a theatre production which has some backstage romances. Of course crazy things happen but the show must go on. The director does a complete rewrite a few weeks before opening night with a new “plot twist”.

I found the main characters were cute. Meric is a somewhat neurotic accountant with a touch of OCD. Lindy is a clutzy plus size woman with a voice like an angel. Meric has been burned by his ex-wife but can’t stop his feelings for Lindy. Lindy has low self esteem and doesn’t believe anyone can ever be attracted to her. Being in the play helped her gain confidence and come out of her she’ll. It was nice to see her growth. It was well written but to be honest, I enjoyed other books in this series more. If your looking for a light, quick read, this is it.

Plot Twist is the third book in the Romance in Rehoboth series by KL Montgomery and I loved it! I found this series from the start and just fell on love with the series and the author.

I read a lot and though there are some aspects of the characters I can relate to, but overall I don’t feel like any of them. But in the books I have read by Ms. Montgomery I can really connect and understand the feelings of the big girl who is hiding in the corner and totally uncomfortable in her skin and with who she is and it’s so nice to connect with a character like that.

I loved Lindy from the very beginning and had such a connection to her. Her relationship with her best friends Megan and Heather remind me of mine with a few of my friends.

Meric is the type of guy I hope my daughter meets. He sees Lindy for who she is and now what size she is.

I am so hopeful that this isn’t the end of the series because I’m not ready to say bye to this group.

So freaking cute! The Flip is the second book in the Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery. You do not have to read the first book to read this one. This can be read as a standalone. Sonnet was a little overweight in school and super nerdy. Andrew was a jock and kind of a clown. They grew up together and basically, they were rivals. They didn’t get along at all! Now almost 10 years after high school ended, Andrew’s Aunt Penny has passed away and has left her beach house to both Sonnet and Andrew. So for the next couple of months they have to work together to get the house in order to be able to sell it. However, Sonnet has grown out of her chubby stage and is a bonafide Rocket Scientist. Andrew is still kind of a clown and has gained a few pounds. He works as a bartender and musician. Of course this story is a HEA! This story truly is sweet and I love the chemistry the two have together and I love all the secondary characters as well. There aren’t any sexy scenes in this book and I don’t believe it needs to have it. There is a lot of eluding but nothing elaborate. Again…totally not necessary. I loved the way that the author wrote this story. The words flowed really well and it was definitely easy to read. It was also a definite page turner. I would, without a doubt suggest this book to anyone looking for this type of story. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!!

The Flip ( Romance in Rehoboth Series Book #2) by K.L Montgomery – Review by Angela Hayes

5 Stars

The Flip is the second book in the ‘Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L Montgomery. It was such a fun read, one of my favourites that Ms. Montgomery has written. It is a light-hearted read, but with just the right amount of drama and tension to really keep things interesting. This is a superb contemporary romance, with a enemies to lover aspect to the storyline. This book can be read as a standalone, even though it is the second book in the series, as the series is made up of standalone stories- where each book centres on its own particular characters/couple, but the common factor is that they all are set against the backdrop of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Having said that though, I really do recommend reading all the books- because they are wonderful stories in their own rights, and help to paint a larger picture.

Sonnet and Andrew have an interesting history. They have known each other since childhood and had developed a bitter rivalry between them. Their dislike of one another ran deep. Since graduating high school, both moved on with their lives and haven’t had any contact for the past ten years.

Now, out of the blue, they have both inherited the same beachside cottage. The house needs some work to bring it back to life and Sonnet and Andrew are at a point in their lives where they could both use an influx of cash to help them chase their dreams- so renovating the cottage and getting it sold would help accomplish this.

But can these two put aside any animosity and find a way to work together to make that happen- or will all the old feelings come bubbling to the surface? What happens when these two have to spend so much time together on their shared project? And will they survive the flip?

As I have said many times now, Ms. Montgomery is a very gifted storyteller, who is easily able to pull readers into her story and keep them connected to the storyline and characters- completely hooked from beginning to end. I love how her story depicts characters that are realistic, believable, relatable and endearing.

As with all her other books, this is really well written, with a clever and fun story that helps to make it stand out from others in the same genre.

Bring on the next book!!!

Thank you, Ms. Montgomery!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Flip (Romance in Rehoboth Book 2) by K.L. Montgomery a sweet romance story that is an easy, light and enjoyable read. The characters are fun and engaging and will make you laugh out loud and make your heart flutter. The story is told from their different POV’s which gave it more of that pop factor. K.L. has that magic factor when writing her stories and this one had it in spades. Her word building of the characters and the world in which they live have you imagining each and every vibrant piece by piece to make the story a whole. K.L. is one author that should always be on your read list as her stories are easy and connective and just the right amount of bite size to keep you satisfied.

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth Book 3) by K.L. Montgomery is a fun romantic  comedy and I loved this sweet story. This story has many great facets that make for a  wonderful read. Set in a small town, with a musical, a dog and a second chance at love  will have you falling in love with these crazy wonderful people characters. I also love  that none of these characters are perfect they are just as flawed as the rest of us and  size doesn’t matter.     Meric has been burnt and has sworn off woman. Lindy is shy and is looking after her  elderly parents. But what they find together is something they never saw coming.    If you want to know what happens, then grab a copy today. You will not be  disappointed.

Plot Twist is the third book in the ‘Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L Montgomery. It is a really fun and light-hearted romantic comedy. Romance in Rehoboth is a series of standalone stories where each book centres on its own particular character/couple. The stories may differ storyline, feel and tone- but they all are set against the backdrop of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. And characters from the other books make appearances in this story, too. Even though you don’t have to have read the other two books in this series to be able to enjoy this one. I do recommend reading them anyway- because they are wonderful stories in their own rights and well worth the read, too!
I think Ms. Montgomery is a gifted storyteller, easily pulling her readers into her story and keeping us connected and hooked from beginning to end. I love how her story depicts characters that are realistic, believable and at the same time promotes a body positive attitude that makes her work stand out from the crowd.
As with all her other books, this is really well written, entirely captivating, and stands out from others in the same genre. I have a hard time picking one favourite from her books because they are all so great- but this one is definitely right at the top.
I can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for us next!

Thank you, Ms. Montgomery!

This is Meric and Lindy’s story, two people who aren’t perfect, just one of the reasons I love this author so very much…These two both dealing with their own issues made me fall in love with them just like every other character that this author writes about. She never shies away from letting these women be real and deal with real issues as far as their bodies are concerned..I can’t even begin to explain how refreshing that is.

I loved this story and the return of the characters from previous books was something I loved, they didn’t just make a quick appearance, they were part of the story. I fell in love also with Lindy’s parents and with the way Lindy treated her parents.

I just can’t say enough about how much I enjoy and look forward to reading this authors books. She is an absolute favorite of mine, I cant put into words what it is about the way the words flow but they do so beautifully. It seems I never have even one negative or drawback with any of her books, this one was a fun, quick read for me and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I will read everything this author writes.

Loved It!!

I love this author so much, I became an instant fan after reading The Flip, but this book? I love the cover, I love the story, I love the writing, I adore the characters, and I’m so sad that it ended.

This is a story of how the bonds of true friendship between three women can withstand many years and many miles apart. When one is faced with a devastating loss, the other two don’t even think twice about putting their lives on hold, jumping on a plane and going home. The support they offered was spot on, the way this author handled giving us the whole story of this friendship, the whole story of the betrayal that caused two of them to not speak for years, yet come back together for their friend was brilliant. I understand this was slightly based on a true story, but I also understand that she turned this true story into an unforgettable book of love, friendship, family, self discovery, and forgiveness, and I will be rereading this so many times, I already miss it, and I can’t wait to tell everyone I know to go one click this amazingly awesome book! The way she took us into each of their lives and their thoughts with the different POV’s, and the family aspect that each one dealt with…Complete Perfection in my opinion.

I cried a lot while reading, I also laughed a few times. I finished this book last night and normally I go write my reviews right after I finish, but this one I couldn’t, my mind was so totally in this book that I had to take time to organize my thoughts, and to be honest it took me back many years in my own lifes story. There are not enough words to describe how much this book meant to me. I love my romance books, but this one was one was a refreshing change that will stay with me for a very long time! No doubt the best book I’ve read this year!!

Thank you K.L. Montgomery!

I am absolutely in love with this book. The interaction between Andrew and Sonnet (competitive adversaries since childhood) and what they thought of each other cracked me up. This is my first book by this author and I can’t wait to go back and read the first of this series, as well as her other books.

I loved the way the story unfolded while giving us tidbits of the past and how these two arch enemies became the way they were. The flow of this story was perfect and I loved the change of perspectives throughout.

Aunt Penny and Serenity were my favorite characters in this book, well of course next to Sonnet and Andrew. The author was really creative with the hilarious obstacles that kept popping up while they were redoing the house left to them, from millipedes to rusty nails, sinkholes and then oh my goodness an alligator in Delaware. I laughed out loud so many times. This book just plain made me feel good, I Loved It!!!!

The Flip (Romance in Rehoboth #2) by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Shannon Fowler

The Flip (Romance in Rehoboth #2)The Flip by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Flip is a funny story that is not your typical romance story. The main characters, Andrew and Sonnet, went to school together starting in elementary school, but were hardly friends at all. Andrew teased Sonnet endlessly and when he wasn’t teasing her, he was ignoring her. Sonnet was only interested in learning, getting good grades and avoiding Andrew. They shared a common interest though growing up in Aunt Penny, Sonnet’s next door neighbor and Andrew’s great-aunt.
As you can tell from the blurb, these two inherit a house that needs a little fixing up.

This story made me laugh out loud and even snicker several times. Especially when Andrew discovers what Sonnet is reading on her Kindle.

“I close out of the book so I can see the title on the screen along with the rest of the books on her
virtual shelf. “Mountains Wanted?” I ask, eyebrows raised. “I bet there’s some metaphorical mountains involved,” I wink at her. “Fisher of Men? The Playground?”

Sonnet sounds like my type of reader friend!

Montgomery has a writing style that completely wraps me up and makes me forget everything around me. While this is book two in the Romance in Rehoboth series, it can be read as a standalone. I really loved reading this book and think you will too!
