Unraveled by Aubrey Bondurant. This book had me all in my feelings. From page one I felt a connection with both main characters Layla and Kellan. Each of them having their own stories to be told while fate steps in and mixes things up a bit. Layla’s character is by far my favorite I’ve read this year, she’s strong yet knows when to not pretend. Kellan is simply swoon worthy and I think every woman could use a bit of him in their partner. The author does a wonderful job of writing about subjects that in this day are hard to deal with but I truly loved the way this story took place. I was only sad when it ended. It’s well written and paced nicely, told in both main characters POV which is honestly my favorite. I’m giving this story a five star review and highly recommend it to anyone.
