Master RomanoMaster Romano by Sylvia Black
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the fourth book in this series and oh my gosh what a read it was! After each book I say that was my favourite and then this extremely talented author brings out the next and I say it all over again. Master Romano, he had me falling in love with him from the very first page! I absolutely loved his character. I loved him and Raven together! They were so much fun to read about. Raven was an awesome female lead – I loved her! The pull between the two characters was so real and I could feel that as a reader. I would absolutely recommend reading this series in order to get the best reading experience of these characters. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!

Heat level is off the charts with this book! Oh my gosh what a read!! Phew! I absolutely LOVED this story – I have to admit when I read the synopsis I was hooked already, it sounded incredible and it was! To be honest I should have known this book was going to be amazing having read a few books by this author previously and I’ve never been disappointed! I’m pretty sure that this one is my favourite from her I have to say! From beginning to end I could not turn the pages fast enough and I certainly couldn’t put it down. The passion and chemistry between the two main characters was just amazing – hypnotising at times! This book had everything amazing characters with a great storyline – 100% worthy of the 5 starts I give it and I absolutely must read the first book in the series!

This series just continues to get better and better and I have to say I’ve been secretly waiting for this story and oh my it did not disappoint in the slightest. The chemistry between Kristopher and Alessia was scorching hot! All of the characters in this series have had some series passion and chemistry but I these two had it in bucket loads! There were some great twists and turns in this story which meant it was not predictable at all.
This series has truly been an absolute pleasure to read – the author has done an amazing job and as always I’m looking forward to whatever she brings out next!

I really enjoyed this read, it was a nice easy read with a great pace and flow to it. I found it easy to get lost in what I was reading. I love a second chance romance so I knew as soon as I read the synopsis I was going to like this book and I wasn’t disappointed! This was also a great introduction to a new author. The characters were well written about and I found them relatable and easy to connect to. I really felt for Mavis and the choices she made and I loved Josh – their story was definitely an emotional one!
A Beautiful story and I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the trilogy!

This was a great read – I really enjoyed it. It was easy to read and I read it fairly quickly. The pace and flow of the story was good and I liked the characters, the author did a great job of making them relatable and I found I connected with them easily. From the synopsis it was clear this is modern day retelling of a fairy tale and we all know how they go so whilst yes the story may have been a little predictable it was still a beautiful read. Overall an enjoyable read and one that I would highly recommend – I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

Oh this book! I don’t even know where to start. I know when I first read the synopsis I thought I was going to be in for an emotional rollercoaster but this story grabbed me and boy did it take me on a ride! I was completely captivated from the very first word until the last. The authors writing was just phenomenal, as it always is and I was honestly completely hooked. The story of Addie and Wesley had everything you could want in a story, an emotional part, angsty moments, family drama and so much more. I loved how unpredictable the story was and I absolutely adored the characters.
I cannot wait for more to come from this series!

Wow!! What a read! Historical romance is by far my favourite genre, I just absolutely love being transported back in time and this book as soon as I read the synopsis I couldn’t wait to get started and my gosh it did not disappoint at all! This was definitely one smoking hot story! I think it’s the first I’ve read by this author and I cannot wait to read more by her. The characters were fantastic to read about, Celia and Gabriel has so much chemistry it just oozed off the pages as I was reading – I am definitely a little bit in love with Gabriel! He was hot, possessive and dominating – book boyfriend material!! The authors attention to detail meant that scenery was easy to imagine. Overall it really was a brilliant read and one that I would highly recommend.

I loved the setting for the story – the glitz and glam of Las Vegas and I loved the characters Kellie and Harrison, they were both lovely characters and I am such a lover of second chance romances that I was absolutely rooting for these two the whole way through. I really liked the authors writing, I found it engaging and captivating. I am really looking forward to reading more from the series!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another fantastic 5 star read from this author! This might be the seventh book in the series but it can be read a standalone however I would highly recommend reading the books in order. This was Mia and Nico’s story and what a story it was! The chemistry was there between these two characters almost instantly but as with all mafia romances things aren’t as simple and clear cut as they are meant to be! I loved that Mia wasn’t your usual naive heroine – she was feisty and happy to stand up for herself!
This was a riveting read and one that had me hooked from beginning to end. It was an amazing addition to this already amazing series and I wholeheartedly recommend it to other readers!

What a wonderful end to this series! I have thoroughly enjoyed these books and really taken Cat and her family/friends into my heart. I really do love Cat, she has been such a great character to read about across all three books, she’s definitely made me laugh with her humour and her love of baking came across so well. She is truly wonderful at her job. I loved that the recipes continued in this book – such a quirky addition to the stories that I absolutely loved!
Ive really enjoyed this book and indeed this entire series and would wholeheartedly recommend it to other readers.

This was a really good read. It’s one of those books that you actually fall into straight away. The author does warn about the content in the book and whilst I’m happy to read most dark reads even some parts were a little more than I liked but the author did warn and I proceeded so I simply skimmed over these parts and they didn’t take away any of my enjoyment of what I was reading. I really liked the characters Reuben and Alice and I also enjoyed the uniqueness some of the characters too.
Overall this was a great read and one that I would recommend.

I fell in love with the characters straight away. Katie was just an amazing character, I loved her so much, she was relatable, I connected with her – she was just a genuinely lovely person to read about and then add in Chase! Perfection the two of them! The way he stepped up and took in his nephew and the relationship that they had was wonderful. I loved every minute of this story and would highly recommend it to others!

This was a really enjoyable read, I loved the Jane Austen feel that it had to it – it was a really quirky story to read. Although there were links to Pride and Prejudice its not the same and it’s a great stpry in its own right. There were, I admit, a few predictable moments but even so the story was fun to read and I did enjoy it. The characters were fun to read about and I thought they were well developed. The writing was easy to read and I would definitely recommend it to others.

I’ve not read anything by this author previously but I will definitely be looking at the other books in the series. I liked Philip and Anna and enjoyed seeing their ‘relationship’ progress – I loved the connection that they had. The secondary characters in the story were great also. I just loved Anna – she was such a great character to read about, she made me laugh so much with her no nonsense approach to things – definitely the kind of friend you’d want!

This book was a really sweet read and one that I really enjoyed. When I first read the synopsis I wasn’t sure it would be my kind of story and worried I wouldn’t connect with the characters but I was wrong on both things! I will say that it wasn’t that instant connection but I grew to care about the characters over the story. I liked Paige, she clearly loved her job and it was important to her, the author certainly got that across well and she seemed like a genuinely nice person. I actually really liked the fact that Mark was a billionaire but not your typical one I would normally read about – it actually made for a refreshing change. There were a few slower parts in the story but as a whole I really did enjoy it and would definitely recommend to others!

The author has a great way of creating storylines that certainly get children thinking scientifically and its great as a starting point for encouraging them to have a go at the activities the characters do in the story. The story is easy to follow and has beautiful illustrations that are certain to captures children attention.

What a hidden gem of a book! The authors writing was just amazing and it didn’t take me long to be hooked on what I was reading. It was very obvious that the author had done a huge amount of research before writing the story and I think that made a huge amount of difference to what I read.
The character development was great and I really liked Cam!

I always get excited when I see a book I haven’t read from this author because I absolutely love her writing so when I saw this one I grabbed it and didn’t even bother reading the synopsis. As usual I wasn’t disappointed – wonderful writing, a great storyline and wonderful characters were waiting for me as I turned the pages of Let it Be Love. I loved Eric and Kiki – probably two characters you would never put together but my gosh they were just perfect for each other in my opinion! They had so much to contend with whilst trying to just be with each other – I don’t think I have rooted for a couple to get through everything and get their happily ever after like I did these two!
A wonderful story and one that I would highly recommend!

What a wonderful and unique story – I really enjoyed this book! The characters were really interesting to read about – I love Roxanne! I loved the bond that she had with Claudette, they really had a genuine connection I felt. The author really did an amazing job with the storyline for this story I think it had potential to become difficult to understand but she made it so easy to read, so many intertwined themes all blended together perfectly.

A fantastic audio book! This author never fails to entertain me with her writing and I love that I never really know what I’m going to get when I decide on one of her books. I thought the main characters took a little bit of time for me to warm to but once I did I thought she was great! She was definitely determined to find out what happened to Lacey! The narrator really brought the story to life and I certainly felt like I was right there with eve collecting clues and trying to find out what. Happened.

Overall a great audio book and one that I would highly recommend.

This was a fantastic audio book and one that I really enjoyed listening to. The authors writing together with the wonderful narration really brought this story to life. I could easily imagine everything that I was listening to. The character Tatiana was so amazing – I loved listening to her story. I really felt her emotions at times and I felt really connected to her as a character. The author did an amazing job with creating the fantasy land that this series takes place in and her wonderful attention to detail makes it so believable to read. I would highly recommend this audio book and I can’t wait to listen to more from this author in the future!

Levi (The Brothers of Creekside Ranch Book 1) by Edith Mackenzie – Review by Katie Matthews

LeviLevi by Edith Mackenzie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely loved this story! Whilst I love romance stories with the steamy scenes sometimes it is nice to read a clean romance story and this was 100% that! I loved getting to know the characters Levi and Bella (also known as Beccy) they certainly had a love hate relationship and I just loved them together! The story may have been a little predictable but I didn’t care because I was completely swept up in the blossoming romance between the two main characters (even if they didn’t want to admit it). I knew that Levi was going to be a big softy underneath that hardened exterior and I knew Bella would be the one to break down those barriers! I also loved all of the secondary characters and I’m very excited for each other brothers to get their own stories and Little Allie was just the sweetest! She’s definitely lucky with those big brothers to look out for her!
A wonderful read and one that I would highly recommend – I can’t wait for the next book! This was also a wonderful introduction to a new author!

Body Checked (Astoria Bay Thunder #2)Body Checked by C.J. Cartwright
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

As I loved the first book in this series I was excited to meet more of the characters and this one was Bridger and Tia’s story and it didn’t disappoint! I loved the angst that the author created between these two, they definitely had chemistry and sparks flying but it definitely wasn’t love at first sight! I really liked that Bridger wasn’t quite what I expected and I really enjoyed getting to know him in this book. I personally loved the idea of him and Tia together and I was rooting for them the whole way through.
This story can easily be read as a standalone but there are crossover characters so I would recommend reading them in order – book 1 was also a great read!
I will definitely be looking forward to reading more from this author again in the future.

I was really intrigued by the synopsis for this book and I wasn’t sure that I was going to enjoy but I loved that I was pleasantly surprised. The story was really easy to follow and I really liked the characters. When I first started the story I actually wasn’t aware it wasn’t the first book in the series and I think although I would have had a better understanding of some of the things going on had I read the previous two books I was quite happy reading it as a standalone however I would like to read the first two also as this was a great read. The characters were really likeable and relatable – I think it was easy to imagine yourself as a student at the ballet school.
I think this would definitely be a great series for younger readers but I also really enjoyed it as an adult!

The synopsis for this story really drew me in when I first read it, it sounded intriguing and I couldn’t wait to get started. Overall I did enjoy the book I will say for me it was a slow starter but it is definitely worth sticking with a it certainly picks up as it progresses. Nathan and Holly’s relationship was interesting, born from a promise to keep a secret and evolving into a romantic relationship – there were some points in the tory where I wasn’t convinced about the two of them but as they story progressed as did their relationship. I wasn’t sure about Holly at the start but she definitely became someone that Nathan needed in his life and she actually was a really sweet girl.
Overall I really liked this story and would definitely recommend it to other readers.

This was an incredible story. When I first started reading it I didn’t realise it was the third book in the series so I quickly red the reviews on the first two and felt like I had an idea of what was happening but to be honest it didn’t really matter because the story was so exciting to read I just fell into the storyline and wasn’t let out until the very end. I have read a few books by this author which I was I automatically just grabbed this one and as usual it was everything I’ve come to expect from her – engaging read, great characters, well written and much more. I really liked Donovan and Shirley, what a great couple, they made some pretty huge sacrifices in this story with consequences that may not of made for a happy ending.
I really enjoyed this story and I will definitely be making a point to read the first two in the series now!

What a story! I think I have to say this is one of the best stories that I have read this year, I was completely swept up in what I was reading and found it so hard to put the book down when I needed to. The characters had such a raw emotion to them and they were so relatable, believable and realistic. The authors writing was just amazing, so easy to read – just an absolute pleasure to read from beginning to end. I adored Evan and Callie, they were just amazing characters to read about. I usually find I connect with the female characters more but on this occasion it was Evan who I found the instant connection with. The author did an amazing job with his character and the development of him over the story. Although this is 7th book I believe in this series I read it as a standalone and had no problems in doing so – I absolutely need to go and read the previous books in the series though now!
Saved by Love was a wonderful read and one I would 100% recommend to other readers.
