The Chosen: Book One: The Orb Quest Series by Cari Shaeffer is a interesting YA story. There is action, mystery, fantasy, danger, and did I say leaving teenagers to learn the truths of the destiny of others? It is a story of friendships and being able to trust one another on this magical adventure. The storyline took me on a roller coaster ride but it was well worth the ride. Would you be willing to let teenagers learn about the truth behind the orbs?

What an amazing novel! I was literally hooked right from the first chapter and just couldn’t pull my eyes away from the pages. I loved the characters and I could really feel their emotions jumping of the pages and I could also visualize everything that was going on. What an amazing author!!!

First let me say; this can be read as a standalone for which I’m so glad. I’m always down for a book where the main H/h are cynics in love and in needing a significant other. I enjoyed the actual story line. I think it was well written. The drama was there and it kept me reading until I finished the book. This book has made me want to get back into reading MCs. Overall I enjoyed this book and I’m wanting to go back from the start and read them all as well as any other that will be coming out in this series.

Blade’s Edge is the 10th book in the Satan’s Devils MC series. Although the characters from previous books are recurring, each book can be read as a stand-alone. I had not read any of the previous books in the series and I didn’t feel that I was missing any important information to enjoy/understand this book. I am, however, intrigued about some of the other characters and would definitely consider going back and reading some, if not all, of the previous books. This is the first time I had a read an MC book and have to admit to being unsure of some of the terminology/jargon used at first but this did not affect my enjoyment of this book as I enjoyed it a great deal. Blade is the Enforcer in the MC and it’s his responsibility to ensure the safety of the MC. When a homeless woman ends up at their compound, who obviously has some very important information that could bring down a politician, Blade is given the job of getting close to the woman in order to get the information from her. What Blade doesn’t expect is his obvious attraction to Tash. And as much as she tries to deny it, Tash can’t help but be drawn to the large, moody, aggressive man. I absolutely loved the interaction between Blade and Tash as they both did their best to antagonize each other. What I also found hilarious was the interactions between Blade and his brothers in the MC as he continues to deny his obvious attraction to Tash. This is a really enjoyable read, with so much to offer. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

I have absolutely fallen in love with this series. Lost in Love is the second book in the Miss Apple Pants series and it was such a fantastic, trendy read. It has everything you want in a story from love, humor, friends, a dash of drama, and anything else you can think of.
I met Ella in the first book and I feel like she’s come a long way since that story. She has done so much growing up and you can’t help but just love her and the people around her. There are some big decisions that she needs to make in this story (I won’t give any hints).
Miss Roth writes such light and engaging stories and I love being sucked into them every time. I cannot wait for more!

Everyday Enchantments: Musings on Ordinary Magic & Daily Conjurings by Maria DeBlassie. This book was AMAZING. I was not sure about it to be honest but let me tell you once I started I couldn’t put it down. It was simple yet so complicated all at the same time. It’s a series of stories about finding the wonderful in the normal, everyday simple things. Making life magical when no one expects anything but the same ole, same ole. It’s about slowing down and enjoying life and moments not things and taking into account all the wonderfulness, thankfulness, mindfulness and reflection in life. Letting life do its thing and enjoying the ride as you go. Read this book, you will be so glad you did!
Blade’s Edge: Satan’s Devils MC #10 is by Manda Mellett. This is the story of Blade, an enforcer for the Satan’s Devil’s MC and Tash who becomes involved with him. Blade lives a very structured life, he uses women for one thing only and moves on. He uses men for information and once he gets it, he kills them. Once he meets Tash everything is turned upside down. She’s keeping secrets from the club that he needs to know, so how will he get that info? Tash is hiding out from the Satan’s Devils because what she knows might kill her, so when Blade comes around she doesn’t like him at first but he soon grows on her. How will she keep this secret from him and the club and how will she keep Blade at a distance. This is the 10th book in this series but you can read it as a standalone! It’s a great book which you will soar thru!

Gemma is a senior in high school. She has a small group of friends that are different from everyone else, but they get along great. One day they are counting the days until graduation, the next their world gets turned upside down. They find out they each possess special powers. Not only that, but they are what’s called The Chosen. They are supposed to track down special orbs that look like unusual gems. They also find out that these gems are tied into many events in history that involved battles of power. Will they be up to the task?
This is a great beginning to the series. A young adult/new adult book, this is really for all ages. Some books with teenagers can get annoying to people like me who have quite a few years behind them since high school. But this book is nothing like that at all. I really enjoyed getting to know these characters. They are realistic and felt like they could be in my own neighborhood. There is some action and sets up the series perfectly. Not to mention that it’s not all happy thoughts. There is some sorrow which makes the book even more complex.
It is a nice blend of action, fantasy, and fun and I cannot wait to see what the next book brings us.

Desperately Seeking Sixty Nine by J.D Frettier 4 Stars
This is a fun, short read. Bonnie suddenly dies and leaves her husband of forty plus years alone. Her best friend Dee meets her and whisks her away to the Green Room. It is like a sexy purgatory. Bonnie realizes that she left her sex toys from the likes of lovegasm and more out before she died. In a panic, she pleads with Dee that she needs to contact Peter to tell him to put them away before their children find them. Comical shenanigans ensue that will have you laughing out loud. There is a lot of peace and love and sex. The Green Room sounds like a place I’d like to go to after I die.

I have been anxiously waiting for the fourth book in this series to be released and the author did not disappoint at all!! It was an amazing read and I loved every second of it. Amelia’s story has had me hooked from the very beginning and I think the author was definitely saving the best until last with this final installment! This is definitely my favourite of the series (and I loved all of the others!) the emotional roller-coaster that the author took me on was immense. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, I felt everything that the characters did and I am really sad that this series is now over. I could happily read more! With every turn of the page something different happened and I was on the edge of my seat on more than one occasion! The level of suspense was brilliant and the twists and turns made for an even more exciting read than I was anticipating. If you have read and loved this series so far then you will not be disappointed in Knight Who Won My Heart – I know I wasn’t and I am looking forward for more to come from this author in the future!

The Billionaire and the Therapist was a wonderful read. I do have a soft spot for a Billionaire story (wishful thinking for me I think sometimes!!) but sometimes they can be very much the same however I love that this was one different. Kim Koby took a genre and made it different to anything that I had read before. Whilst I love the hot and steamy romance stories I also love a nice clean romance like this one and I just adored every minute of it! I fell in love with the characters straight away- I felt for John and everything that he had been through – at times I could feel the desperation that he was feeling when trying to help his daughter. I could feel the connection he had with Natalie straight away and I was definitely rooting for them the whole way through! I am definitely looking forward to reading the next book in this series and more from this author again in the future.

So I am a self proclaimed non paranormal reader, but lately it seems I’m reading more and more of this genre and some are ok, and some are completely awesome…like this one. This was so much fun to read, it felt like a mixture of many different things and rom com kept coming to mind, which is one of my favorite genres.
I loved this storyline, and it was told perfectly for it being such a quick read, it never felt rushed or felt like it skipped around too much. The character building was just enough and I fell in love with both Alex and Catherine and loved to dislike a few others, and I have a lot of questions about a couple of them…This was somewhat of a suspense and it was fun trying to solve the case…which does not seem solved at all in my opinion, it seemed way too easy and I can’t get out of my head how Alex convinced the police in his way that everything was as it seemed, and I love how this is moving into another book. There is a background story going on that I’m thinking will continue through this series and I can not wait!!
This author is brand new to me and she has quickly moved to my one click list because her writing is completely aligned with what I love about reading.
If The Shoe Fits, The Liberty Lawrence Series Book Three, is by Bea Stevens. This is the third book in this series. I believe that to get a better understanding of the series, the previous books should be read first.
Liberty is a fashionista……. she loves everything about it, especially her Louboutin’s……. when she is chosen to write for the fashion section she jumps for joy!!!! Her dreams are coming true. What she doesn’t expect is her new boss to be horrendous. When she starts to “investigate” the new designer of a clothing line, she finds things are not as they seem. As the mystery starts to unfold, you won’t be able to put this book down!!!

This is a shorter book but packed full of romance and drama. You first meet John who sadly lost his wife to a tragic accident and his 7 year old daughter Catherine, who unfortunately saw her mother die. After witnessing her mother’s death she stops speaking for almost 2 years. John reaches out to a speech therapist named Natalie who has a very dark past with a stalker that has terrorized her. Together these 3 push and pull their way into the future to hopefully help Catherine heal and both John and Natalie move on in their lives. I really enjoyed this book.

I love MC books but that means I read a lot of MC books and can be picky. When I read Blade I immediately fell in love with both of the characters, Tasha and Blade. This book had so many twists and turns. Blade has such a damaged past and has a really hard time letting go of his past feeling regarding woman. Natasha or Tasha, is such a well bred woman who has a very tough past that she is currently running from. When their presents collide, it’s like a tornado. I really enjoyed the action and the drama in this book. Well done.

5 Star The Protector: Mac (Cover Six Security Book 1) by Lisa B.Kamps is an intense story that has some suspense, mystery, revenge and some twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat. I freaking loved this book from the very beginning. I could tell it was going to be an intense read. It didn’t disappoint, that’s for sure. Mac is a man who knows danger. He’s in the military and definitely understands how quickly a life can be taken or even lost. Tabitha is a strong but stubborn woman. These two have some serious chemistry and attraction to each other. Holy cow! Can Mac keep her safe? Will they be able to have a relationship? This is a must read. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Blade’s Edge is book ten in the Satan’s Devils MC series by Manda Mellett. This author always pens such easy to read dramas packed full of tension and emotion. Not to mention hot headed men and the women sent to try them.
Blade is the enforcer for the Satan’s Devils MC. Used to using any means necessary to gain information, he is not prepared for dealing with a woman instead. Tash has secrets that could bring the club to its knees. It made for very interesting reading. The style in which the story was written was so easy to escape into. I got lost in everything that was Blade and Tash, effortlessly and excitedly. A lot of stuff happened in this story, and a lot of emotions were observed. With a lack of respect for women, Blade did not win my heart totally, but the story itself was high quality, so all was forgiven. A fantastic story that was a fine story to disappear into for a while. 4 stars.

Coming Home: The Sequel To Flowers in December is by Jane Suen. This is the continuation of Connor’s story as he comes home for Christmas. This book could be read as a standalone, but I would highly recommend that you read is in order to get the full story. This is a feel good romance, full of up and downs. I was hooked on the very first page and couldn’t put it down until the last. The ups and downs gave me all the feels and I truly enjoyed this story. I highly recommend this book, series and author.

I’m not sure I knew what I exactly I expected to find in these pages. What I do know is that I found this book from DeBlassie to be charming. This book’s delivery is different than most, being written in a way that I found myself appreciating the words and the intent behind them. The stream of consciousness found in these pages was easy to follow and appreciate but will find me rereading them to enjoy them again. Very well done. Something I will definitely recommend to others.
I continue to thoroughly enjoy the books I read from this author and in particular in this series. The latest installment, An Appointment, is another gem. Miller gives her readers another sweet romantic tale with relatable characters. This particular book echoes loudly the theme of heartbreak and second chances. I enjoyed this book from start to finish and definitely recommend it to others.

An Appointment (Summer in New York Book 4) By Lindsay Marie Miller. This author keeps writing stories that draw me in and make me never want to leave the story world created. And this book definitely didn’t disappoint me one bit. Characters I love and connected with, characters that both have their own story to tell and when you put them together it’s a story you won’t soon forget. Characters are well written as well as the storyline, it’s also paced nicely never feeling rushed or slow. I won’t be forgetting these wonderful characters any time soon and can’t wait to see where the author takes readers next. I’m giving this story a five star review and highly recommend it.

This is my first novel by this author and I could not put it down, as the words beckoned me to continue. Gemma and her friends were captivating and inquisitive. As the initial book to the series, it perfectly entices the reader to read the subsequent stories.

The Billionaire and the Therapist (Clean Billionaire Romance Reads Book 1) by Kim Koby is an inspirational second chance romance. One billionaire with the world within his reach just looking for an opportunity to help his daughter. One therapist who wants to make an impact in children’s lives while surviving her own. This story is filled with yearning, chemistry, sharing of the past, to include drama and some suspense. The author provides a story that is more about the characters and their lives than some of the additional content that romance stories are known for. Despite this, Kim Koby has provided a thoroughly engaging story. Some parts of the story felt too easily pushed aside knowing the stage that was set in the book, but overall, The Billionaire and the Therapist was a solid read.

The Woman America Loves a Latte, by Holly Tierney-Bedord, is a stunning story. This story is rife with tragedy, heartbreak, and change. Veloura’s character certainly struggles due to outside circumstances that have shifted the path her life has been on, multiple times. However, despite all the craziness that has enveloped her life, she finds a breath of change with an opportunity that cannot be resisted. Veloura was strong, even at times of weakness. Her character in this story was magnificent and I enjoyed the changes as she developed and grew. Holly Tierney-Bedord is a talented author that continues to grow with each book.

Happily. Ever After?: An Italian Relationship. (The Italian Saga Book 6) by Gaia B Amman was an pulling read that will get you in all the feels.
Not my first read from this author or this series, though I met Leda when she was a child, so seeing her all grown up was hell of a time jump for me. Yes, Yes, I did it again, I skipped books in the series.. but hey, if you follow me at all you know that’s my thing. But in all seriousness, this book was not only emotional, it did things to my poor heart, that was weird, confusing, and amazing. Gaia B Amma truly has and remarkable gift when it comes to writing, and getting the reader to not only connect, but feel what her characters are feeling. That alone is enough for me to tell you, to gets this book, this serie, and anything by Gaia B Amma.
As I have said this book is stuff to the gills with raw emotions. Romantic centered, we see the makings, and the ups and downs of a realistic relationship, and the trials that couples go through to try and make it work. Especially when you have two people that are as opposite as you can get… but, the heart wants what it wants.. there’s no rhyme or reason, and this book displays that well. This book is a must read, and I can’t stress enough without spoilers, that you need this book in your life.
So please take my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval. that this book, as it did with me, will do things to not only your heart, but your soul.

Cari has done a great job of writing a tale full of magic and adventure, danger and action. Cari has done a fantastic job of weaving this story that is so vivid and detailed that you can clearly picture it. It is captivating and unique and the characters are down to earth and relatable, if not a little quirky but endearing in their difference. There is mayhem and suspense, action and magic that you will get lost in. This is a great start to the series and is one not to be missed. I can’t wait to see where Cari takes us in the other books. I wished this one could have been longer but will have to wait for the next book. I hope it’s soon.

Gaia Amman wrote The Italian Saga books and Happily. Ever After? Is the sixth book and it can be a stand-alone book. Gaia Amman writes about a relationship where two opposites attract one another. This book has funny, serious, life lessons, and tough relationships. I know I was on a roller coaster ride full of emotions. I can relate to Leda and I really went through this story thinking yep that happened to me too. Sergio is the opposite of Leda. He is more fun loving flying with the seat of his pants type of guy. When Sergio and Leda get together there is a whole lot of fun and seriousness at stake. I hope you see the humorous as well as the serious sides of Leda and Sergio and fall in love with them as much as I have.

If the Shoe Fits (The Liberty Lawrence Series Book 3) by Bea Stevens was a fun light hearted read, that had a little bit of everything to keep you well engaged and entertained.
The third book in this quirky series, we follow Liberty as she moves onto a new adventure and a new job. Man this girl changes jobs more than necessary. I mean sure it fits with the story and Libby’s personality, but I mean, realistically, changing jobs that often isn’t healthy, career wise. Plus all her boss’s seem to be mean, tools that are set up for you to hate them. As much as I am enjoying this series, and if there is another book, I do hope that trend doesn’t continue.
Overall, like I have said, this book as a whole, is fun, pulling, has wonderful characters, and a nice easy mystery like plot, that keeps you on your toes. Libby is growing on me more and more, though I still think she is a little too immature for her age, but hell, she’s making progress and I’m happy with that. Story wise, this was my fav so far. The nice easy flow made for quick easy reading, and the transitions were smooth, even will all the minor things I mentioned above, this is a page turner.
To end, this book gets a super high recommendation from me, and my stamp of approval.

The Billionaire and the Therapist is the first book in Kim Koby’s Clean Billionaire Romance Reads. It is not the first book I have read by this writer so I decided to pick up a copy to get out of my funk … I needed to read something Happily Ever After, something sweet … I did feel at times that it was too short and there was a lot that the writer could have delved deeper into and left the door closed … I also felt that the billionaire lifestyle aspect fell a bit short when I compare it to some of the other billionaire stories I have read but in reality, who really knows how it all looks like … not me! The Billionaire and the Therapist the story of John Callahan who has lost his wife and his seven year old daughter Catherine has stopped speaking. Enters Natalie Ross, a speech therapist, who has her own bag of demons. They grow closer and closer while Natalie is working with Catherine and they come to the point where they both need to face their past… Pick up a copy if you are looking for an easy pick-me-up story and I already checked out that one of John’s brothers is getting his own story! (I wonder if we end up with all five, I would definitely not mind!)
