I was supposed to go to the gym yesterday but I skipped it because I didn’t want to put this funny rom-com down.
I have so many funny quotes highlighted that I feel like I would just be quoting the book by putting them here. Oh ok, here are a few of my favorites:
(When talking about going to jail) “First of all, you’d be just fine as someone’s (b word). You were in a sorority in college, after all. It’s probably the same thing, just with less booze.”
“I haven’t had sex in so long that I’m pretty sure my vagina is dryer than the Sahara Desert. It’s quite sad, actually.”
“…I would rather get gang banged by a group of chickens than to have to touch David in that way. A girl has to have standards.”
See??? Funny Stuff!!!!
Gabriella and her bestie, Maria, are so funny together and the way they talk to each other had me laughing out loud. The heat between Gabriella and Conner was scorching. Their banter back and forth was as funny as the girls’. It’s a romantic comedy in the classic sense of the word.
This was a fun book to read and although it had a few grammatical errors, it was never enough to take me out of the story. The characters are quickly developed, we are able to know their motivation so there is never any doubt as to what is going on and it flows well from beginning to end.
I am hopeful that the best friend and brother get their stories told also.
