Crafting Love (Wine & Furniture Series Book 1) by A.E. Gamrat is a well written romance story and a great read. The characters were enjoyable, well mostly, Grace us the friend and she annoyed me but I loved Kelly the main character. The book is quick and enjoyable read and readily drew me in.
Kelly loves the small town in which she lives and her job. She has the best friends and she loves her circuit. She is however lonely. She has given up on love but one night out may change her life.
I am excited to see where A.E. will take us with the next book.

I have such a girl crush on this author. Everything she writes has a certain level of uniqueness that makes the story stand out. SQUALL LINE does not disappoint.
Is this the beginning of a new genre? Instead of bodice ripping pirates, we have kick a$$ women who aren’t afraid of “big, bad men”.
Great main characters and the secondary characters were also intriguing. This is going to be another great series from this very prolific author. The story flowed well from beginning to end and it held my attention for the entire ride.
I look forward to reading all future books by this author.

This contemporary love story that is filled with ups and downs, which provoked many different emotions. This story is told through Manny’s point of view in the form of flashbacks. I thought that that was a great way of telling the story. Autumn Sand did a wonderful job with this book. She was able to produce great characters that really showed great growth and change!

When i started this story I thought I either had a bad copy of the book or it was a continuation of a previous story. Nope – it is just the way the author started this great story.
The story has originality, great world building, interesting characters and imagination. Told from multiple points of view, at times the pacing is so frenetic that it is maddening and other times it was just right.
This is one of those books that i will keep in my “to be read again” pile because I am definitely going to need to reread before reading the next in the series. I have questions that may be answered in a re-read.
The author is new to me and I will be reading them again in the future.
A couple of things happened as I read this book… 1. I want to create my own furniture 2. I’m glad I am still in touch with my “friend since the womb” 3. I really really want a Cricut(tm) machine of my own 4. Regarding 1&3 I always start strong with new adventures, but rarely finish so I will stick to reading about them 🙂
On to the review…
Quick character development. Strong female characters. Great friendships (even when they are annoying). Handy men who are handy. This book was a quick read that held my attention from beginning to end.
With the great world building in this story, I am looking forward to the next in the series.

Manny has had a difficult life and hides his pain behind a tough guy facade but when his childhood love comes back into his life, his weakness for her is on full display and that is gonna cause a lot of problems. I wasn’t super happy with how to chapters were laid out chronologically but it wasn’t too difficult to keep up with the timeline. As a standalone, this is a pretty good story so if anyone is hooked by the characters, plot, or vivid imagery, you have to check out the rest of the series.

The Immigrant: An Italian In America (Woman Scientist Novel 1, The Italian Saga) by Gaia B. Amman
5-Stars
The Immigrant follows main character Ledah as she begins her latest journey on American soil. This novel can be read as a standalone but many characters mentioned are in other books featured in the Italian Saga series. I love Ledah’s character as she attempts to embrace all the crazy American ways. The way she went about entering the country though and all the hoops she had to go through had me stressed reading it. I couldn’t imagine doing that myself. I admire how independent and intelligent she is. This novel was an excellent read and I highly recommend it.

Say Something by Jennifer L. Allen is a second chance contemporary romance. This book elicits so many emotions I’m not even sure I could capture them all. My emotions were all over the place in the best of ways.
Jessica and Danny were high school sweethearts. As life does, it changed and threw some difficult times their way and unfortunately, they couldn’t make it through together. Now, it’s been four years and they both ended up back in their hometown. Jessica never stopped loving Danny and running into him all over town isn’t easy but slowly but surely she begins to think he may feel the same. Do they have what it takes to work through their past issues? Can Danny forgive Jessica?
I loved reading about these characters and getting to know them. Jessica was handed some bad cards but eventually she rebuilt herself. She is strong, smart and funny! Danny is a sweetheart and at first I didn’t think I would like him but as I kept reading I got more of the background and it made sense. This book and these characters are great!! Read this book!

I just want to say this is a slow clean story. If that’s not your thing…please read on. If it is…please read on! This is full of sweet romance. Not only that but this also tell the story of amazing friendships. I will say that I had tears in my eyes a couple times. Yes there are obstacles in this but mostly it’s about the lovely relationships that the MC has. The girlfriends…the brothers and the new guy. It’s about life and living it on your terms.
I usually don’t care all that much for a slow romance. I actually tend to skip over paragraphs while reading. This one I did not do that. I actually LOVE this guy! Well this slow romance. He is so thoughtful and kind and nice! I love how he always wants to be touching her, kissing her on the head or neck and those SLAPS on the behind!! That makes him sooo SEXY! I loved reading Chapter 13…..(Kirk’s chapter). Getting his thoughts on some things and his feelings was nice. I wanted to highlight most of that chapter!
Her friends…I LOVED as well! That Grant! Not to mention Grace and the Wine Girls! They were all adorable and really helped move this story along. The writing was smooth as I had questions about a few things but they were answered as the story moved along. Obviously I loved all the characters. Such a great story!

Impact is only my second book by Autumn Sand and I will admit it’s been a while since I have read a book by her. Impact reminded me of why I like this author. This dark second chance romance with the roller-coaster of emotions was addicting. The edgy twist and turns took me down the dark rabbit hole and I couldn’t leave until I finish this book. The flashbacks helped me understand more of what Manny has been through and what his relationship with Zoe was like.
If you love a good anti-hero bad boy with a twisted past then you need to read Impact. Plus you have to not mind the mature content and some steamy scenes.

Impact (Twisted Hearts Love Story #4) by Autumn Sand was an okay read that kept me intrigued till the end.
The fourth book in the Twisted Hearts series, and this time we are following the brewing Manny. You meet him early on in the series, and I’ve always want to know more about him. In saying that, this book can be read as a standalone, but the books should be read in order, as they do follow a consistent timeline, so there are some spoilers in this book.
On a whole this book, was okay. I did like the way it opened, we got to see a young Manny and his heart break, then the kicker when it jumps to his current life, where it plays out like a Crime drama TV show. That really set the stage and drew me into the story. Now, as much as I like time jumps, they can be over done and this book, unfortunately fell into that trap. There are ways to explain the past without it constantly jumping back and forth. It makes the reading jumping and confusing, especially when it takes away from the main plot. I believe that if it was cleaned up a bit, it would have rounded out this original read and brought it fully home.
Overall this is a good unique read that will keep you on your toes, as there are twist, turns, heat and action. So please take my recommendation and my approval that you will get sucked into this compelling second change romance.

Crafting Love by A E Gamrat is the first book in the Wine & Furniture series. This is a new to me author and I didn’t know what to expect. I throughly enjoyed this book. It was well written and had a great plot. The characters were all great and there was only one I really didn’t like and it was totally justified.
Kelly and Kirk so deserve to be happy. They have both been hurt in the past and have a hard time with trust. There were several parts I liked but I think her birthday party was probably my favorite of all.
I plan on keeping up with this series, I need to know what happens with not only Kelly and Kirk but Grace and Grant.

Fierce Emotions is the eighth novel in the Marcy series by Linda Burson. This is my third novel by this author.
With a new edition to the family arriving soon, the family moves into a house and things seem to be going well.
When Marcy and the family visit her parents in Philadelphia, she appears to be having the nightmares again. After overhearing a conversation, her world is turned upside down.
I really enjoyed this novel though I was alittle lost. I haven’t read the other novels in the series leading up to this novel so I wasn’t familiar with Marcy’s journey and how she got to that point in her life but after reading this, I definitely plan on bingeing the whole series.
This novel is filled with suspense and twist and turns. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happened, I was completely surprised.
I recommend this novel novel and series to anyone looking for something different to read.

Dracones Guardian is Book 6 in the Dracones Series which can be read as a stand-alone. This is a brilliant paranormal, fantasy read that has romance, edge of your seat action and adventure. It was a captivating read from start to finish and held me entranced the entire time. It flows from chapter to chapter and while it is fast-paced you never get lost within the story. I absolutely loved the characters, Zander & Chloe’s story was an epic one at that, they have an instant connection and their chemistry was undeniable. But can the feelings and connection these two have be enough for them to take a chance on love? I loved the supernatural world that we got brought into, this author has created a read that is mentally visual throughout as though I was there living out the story myself.
This has been a brilliant read that I’m so glad that I got the chance to experience, I will defiantly be going back and reading the rest of the books in the series, and whatever else is to come of this series. But I highly recommend this read!

This is another good story by Stephanie Queen. It has lots of action, lots of loving and lots of adventure. Beachcomber Enemy has bad guys with some danger thrown in too.
This series has several books, in fact this is book 10. I have read book 7 (see my review) and now have read this one. Each story seems to have a different adventure for our couple, Dane and Shana. Each story we get to know and love Dane and Shana a little more. During this story their trust for each other is tested while they try to find a maniac who is trying to kill them.
Queen has an easy and fun writing style which makes reading these stories…easy and fun! Another easily recommended story.
Fierce Emotions by Linda Burson is the next book in the Marcy series. Just like the other books, I really enjoyed the rollercoaster of emotions it took me on. The story of Marcy’s friends and family always have me wondering whats going to happen next. I hope this author continues to write this series, as I have read all and really enjoyed them all. Can’t wait to see what this author does next. This book is easily 5 stars. Keep up the great stories!

Impact by Autumn Sand is a novel within the Twisted Hearts Love Story series. This book is brilliant and so well done. A little unusual we get to see this whole book told from Manny’s POV which I really liked. It isn’t often we get to see something entirely from the male characters perspective. I really enjoyed how the book bounced from past to present. It was a great way to really get to know this character more and helped make you feel like you were on the journey with him. This has been a brilliant series so far. Well written, emotional, the author really knows how to grab your attention. And while this can be read as a stand-alone I would definitely recommend reading them all as they are very good.

Beachcomber Enemy: A Romantic Thriller by Stephanie Stephanie Queen is the tenth book in the Beachcomber Investigations series. As with the others this book is fast paced and throws you right into the story. I really enjoyed Dane and Shana’s story. I loved how there seemed to be no preamble with this book. The author just picks you up and seemingly puts you in the middle of all the action. I love coming back to this series as well: I have read so many of the books it always feels easy to slip right back into it. This book was full of action and intrigue. It hits the ground running and doesn’t let up right until the end. A great instalment to this series.
Crafting Love by A.E. Gamrat My rating: 5 out of 5 stars
This book was such a sweet story. First I loved how the main character of Kelly was into crafting, it was refreshing to see something new regarding the jobs of the characters. Second I loved that the story was filled with drama, romance and laughter.
Kelly is such a great character. She is a strong, independent and hard working woman. She loves her life even though she is constantly busy and she loves her friends and family. When she meets Kirk she instantly feels a connection with him, but due to a bad previous relationship she is very wary and will not tolerate any lying. Kirk is a wonderful, he has moved in with his cousin Grant due to some issues back in his hometown and is just looking to settle down and live a quiet life with no drama. When he meets Kelly, the same thing goes through his mind, he feels a connections with her and instantly falls in love.
Both Kelly and Kirk are honest and open with each other but both have secrets about their pasts that they are not openly ready to share. When a terrible girl, Sonnie, calls Kirk out at Kelly’s 30th birthday, the secrets all come to light and both characters need to work out if they think they can truly make a relationship between them work.
The secondary characters are amazing as well. Grace is Kelly’s best friend since preschool, they have been through a lot together but she sometimes gets on my nerves. It seems as though she can’t seem to see the evil in certain people, and takes some of her anger out on Kelly, which is uncalled for. Grant is Grace’s boyfriend and Kirk’s cousin. He has pretty much adopted Kelly into his life as his sister and their relationship is solid. Daisy and Delilah are Kelly’s bosses at work and provide much need comic relief, and seem like such sweet people to know. I would highly recommend this book!

This was a great novel it completely drew me in right from the first page I just couldn’t set it down. I enjoyed the quirky, creative storyline but with alot of depth and emotions running through the pages also. I was captivated by the words and I felt like I was there along side the character’s, it really took me away from reality while reading this novel I highly enjoyed it and I certainly can’t wait to read more from this author.

Fierce Emotions ( Marcy Series Book 8) by Linda Burson. This is the 8th installment of the Marcy series and I love these books. Its the continuation of Marcy, her 2 husbands Brad and Liam and their toddler Evan’s story. This begins with Marcy, Brad & Evan traveling to Philadelphia for the 4th of July to visit Marcy’s parents. While there Marcy overhears a telephone call and wonders if her world will fall apart. Between Brad & Liam being super protective of her Marcy has trouble having any alone time but she has learned to live with it. Marcy is very intelligent, loving & hard headed. The love and devotion between her and her 2 husbands is amazing. Will the phone call break up that loving relationship or will they work it out. You really need to read the previous books to understand what is happening and be invested in these characters lives. Fun, loving story and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Crafting Love is the first book in the Wine & Furniture Series by A. E. Gamrat. This is first book I have read by A. E. Gamrat and I enjoyed her writing style. The book is a simple story that makes you feel like you are in the story with the characters. Even though I am not a fan of wine, but I think I could start drinking it now. The story is a story of Kelly and Kirk. Kelly is a lonely young woman who works for her friends in the wine and furniture store. She doesn’t like to be alone and she keeps busy at night. Until she met Kirk, who just happens to be a hottie handyman. Kelly has a lot going on in her life but cannot ignore feelings that are coming to the surface. Will there be a relationship formed? Will others accept the relationship or will there be people who do not want Kelly want her to be with Kirk?

Minx is a romantic comedy by Maggie Adams. I am grateful that Ms. Adams created Miranda. She is not the picture of a fairytale but more of a hot mess. Her story is one of comedy throughout her life. It is refreshing knowing not every author writer describes the “barbie” figure for the character. I have to admit I spent a long time reading this story because i was laughing so hard I had to stop. Will Miranda find some love? Will Prince, her German Shepard, stay her Prince Charming? I hope you have as much enjoyment of this story as I did.

The story Unraveled by Aubrey Bondurant is an amazing book. It had me hooked from the first chapter and I found myself not wanting to put it down until I had finished the final page. It is an emotional journey that touched and warmed my heart. I couldn’t help but feel the connection between the two main characters. There are sparks and chemistry between them. What does the future hold for them? Read this book to find out. The main female character in this story is a woman who is determined to be independent and strong. The man she meets is stubborn and caring. I grew to care about them both and wanted them to find happiness. There is bantering that goes back and forth between them. I also enjoyed reading about the other characters that are introduced. This is a book that stayed with me and that I thought about even after I had finished it. I highly recommend reading it.

Evolution: Awakening, an Ash Kyndal story by Hope Anika is a suspenseful attention keeping book. I could not put it down until I was finished. Hope Anika characters are fully developed and easy to relate to as if they were in our world. Ash inherits a PI firm from her uncles and that is were it all begins. She went from circus lifestyle to that of a PI. I am not sure hon one goes from circus crew to a PI but Hope Anika pulled it off nicely. Ash did not realize what she was getting herself into. There is some rough times ahead and Ash needs to figure it out because there is a storm coming and she needs to be on the “right side” if she hope to conquer her battle.

Beachcomber Enemy: a Romantic Thriller (Beachcomber Investigations Book 10) By: Stephanie Queen 5 out of 5 stars
The story Beachcomber Enemy: a Romantic Thriller (Beachcomber Investigations Book 10) by Stephanie Queen is the next exciting and thrilling book in a series that I love reading. It has action, adventure, danger, and romance. It had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. The reason I think this story is so amazing is the characters of Dane and Shana. I love reading about them. They have a passion and desire for one another that is undeniable. There are some very romantic scenes in this book. Dane is fiercely protective of Shana and will do anything to make sure she is safe. The story starts with an attempt being made on their lives. They become ghosts in order to track down the killers. Will they find who wants them dead? Shana has a strong feeling that something isn’t right. Will she defy Dane’s plans? Read this book to find out. The story is suspenseful and entertaining. It hooked me in from the very first chapter and didn’t let go until the final page. I also enjoyed reading about those who help Dane and Shana. They have contacts and friends that are loyal and don’t hesitate when called upon for assistance. I love how the book is written in such a way that I feel like I am right there with the characters. I always look forward to the next book in this series and to finding out what happens next in Dane and Shana’s life.

Beachcomber Enemy is the newest book in the Beachcomber Investigations series by Stephanie Queen. It is the 10th book, but you could probably enjoy it without reading any others. The characters do overlap, and to get the best backstory, read them all. I started mid series, and love them all so far. The story, like all the others, follow Dane and Shanna on their adventures. This story is a little different in the sense that it is Shanna’s past causing their current problems. They always seem to run into danger, and this book is no exception. I love that its a balance of thrill and suspense, with a hint of romance. The steamy scenes are intense, but not saturating the book. This book also put the relationships on edge, and I wasn’t sure what was going to happen next. Highly recommend this book, and the whole series.
