If you haven’t read this series you need to start from the beginning. The reason I say this is because not only is this series really really great, but it is intense and in depth. You cannot miss anything. Especially these two characters, Danny Boy and Amelia. Danny Boy is Shay’s brother and is the bad boy that Shay continues to try and keep out of trouble due to his drug addiction. Amelia is Danny Boy’s therapist. So the conflict goes without saying…How do these two match up? How is Amelia able to be everything that Danny Boy needs, the girlfriend and the therapist? Danny is also struggling to be worthy enough for Amelia. He is so wrapped up in his own self-worth that he may mess things up. However, let’s not forget how when these two get together how they connect and know how to steam things up. This story is definitely intense and so good. You get sucked in and trapped just like you do with the rest of the series. Needless to say I loved it! I wouldn’t change anything about it at all!

Linda Burson, a native of Pennsylvania, but long time Connecticut resident, has been writing ever since she was given a writing assignment in school, at the age of eight. Later, as a teenager, she started out writing memoirs and attempted several nonfiction pieces.
After attending college, she worked in positions where she edited papers for others. She spent time pursuing other interests, and traveling. Much of Linda’s free time was spent reading mysteries, romance, and women’s contemporary novels.
After several attempts at writing nonfiction, but having life get in the way, she put her passion on hold again. She gave up writing to focus on raising her daughters, being a wife, running her own custom computerized embroidery business and taking care of her dog, a Lhasa Apso named Nathan.
After a serious bout of breast cancer, Linda eventually closed down her business after almost fifteen years. She decided it was time to attempt writing again. This time, however, with nothing to distract her, she decided on tackling fiction, a contemporary, commercial romance with a dark edge.
In January, 2013, she sat down with her laptop and started writing the first chapter. After a few more chapters, she began keeping notes about the details of her characters so she wouldn’t forget the important characteristics. The writing continued, and never stopped. Before she was aware of it, her idea of a single book turned into a trilogy, which turned into a much longer series called the MARCY SERIES. There are a total of 13 books in the series.
When asked about inspiration, Linda has this to say: “Nobody really inspired me to write, but I do remember my mother and father always saying ‘anything you put your mind to you can accomplish. Don’t ever let anyone tell you, you can’t do something.’ Having the support and encouragement of my family is also important.”
Linda is now in the process of writing a Contemporary Women’s Fiction novel. Also, in the works is anotherRomance Suspense. She is also editing Book 9 in the MARCY SERIES, which at this moment is titled, Forgivable Revenge.

Squall Line is the first Book in The Inland Seas Series and Holy Hell what a read.I literally had goosebumps from the very beginning. I was sucked into the world of War and Grace and I couldn’t put it down till I finished. This Author is one of my absolute favorites I’ve read several books by her. War is a man that is conflicted but he’s loyal.Grace is a feisty yet intelligent woman. She finds herself in trouble when he takes her. These two have an attraction towards one another, that they are both trying to ignore. What does their future look like? Find out what happens next in this must read book. I can’t wait to get my hands on the book in this series.

Squall Line (The Inland Seas Series #1) by Gwyn McNamee
Squall Line was a great 5 star read and book one in The Inland Seas series. This is War and Grace’s story and I was pulled in right from the beginning. This is a modern pirate romance.
War ends up on Grace’s ship and takes her hostage. As they spend time together they start to build a connection along with driving each other crazy. Grace was pushing War for answers to her questions and learned more about him. She started to see a different side to him. We do get some steamy moments from these two as well. I had some LOL moments at the bickering between them. Can War keep Grace out of danger? Can they have more together?
I loved Grace she was a strong character and War was a hot, loyal man. All of the secondary characters were great. If you’re looking for a read that has action, mystery, steam and so much more this is the series for you. Overall I loved this read and the ending was great. I can’t wait to read more from this series.

Well wasn’t this a fantabulous boxed set from the ever fabulous Ms. Deborah Ann!?! I absolutely just could get enough of these books. The angst, the slow build of that perfect explosive and poetic chemistry and pure steam that is Maddison and Jaxon, down straight to the emotive emotional second chances and lessons that come with past transgressions… This book, well both rather, wer absolutely the perfect combination that I was craving at the time. (Whether I knew it or not at first! 🙂 ) From the very first chapter to the riveting end of conclusion of book two I was hooked and often struggled with adulting hahaha. I won’t sit here and paraphrase the already perfect and gripping summary and blurbs that accompany this book. The juicy details are so much better to be found out going in blind and being completely wan with the story. I just can’t find enough glowing things to say about these novels, but in the meantime I will be daydreaming Maddison and Jaxon until the next project from Ms. Deborah Ann gives forth. Thank so much for these beautiful and fantastic reads!

Wild Bastard is the third installment in the Dark Sparrow series and can be read as a stand-alone although characters from the previous book are featured in this book. With that said in my opinion for the best reading experience i would read the two previous books first. This story is all about second chances and with the history that Kai and Izzy have, there is alot going on in their lives. They work so well together but the amount of secrets weigh heavily on their shoulders and that can slowly drive people apart. This book had a little bit of everything. There is suspense, romance, action, danger and a whole lot of drama. It an extremely well written story that i lost myself in from the moment i picked it up. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and i would recommend it to a friend.

Winging it is the first Book in the Destiny Rules Series and a wonderfully written book that was hard to put down once I started reading. Demon’s Angel (Satan’s Devils Colorado Chapter Book 2) by Manda Mellett
5-stars
Demon’s Angel can be read as a standalone novel even though it is part of the Satan’s Devils Colorado Chapter series. Its main characters are Violet and Demon. Demon has some back story in book one but it is also explained in this novel.
The storyline was easy to follow and easily caught my attention from the start. Being a mom, Violet and her little one, Theo, tugged at my heart. I disliked her character at first for attempting to abandon her son but my opinion changed as the realization of why was revealed. Demon was an interesting character as well. He had a very tough persona that he would portray most of the time, hiding his soft heart within.
This was a wonderful novel. I recommend it for mature readers due to mention of rape, sexual content, torment, and profanity. I really enjoyed this second book and look forward to more in this series.

The Vampire Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 3) by Brandi Elledge
5 out of 5 stars
The vampire Queen is the third book in the Wheel of Crowns series written by Brandi Elledge and I have read all three books and I loved each and every one of them. The characters are well written and the plot was amazing the secondary characters and their quirkiness made the story more enjoyable. I read this book in one sitting that’s how good this book/series is.
We met Tandi in the Queen of Witches book and we met Stephen in the Queen of Werewolves. Stephen is the prince of vampires while Tandi is a human.
Tandi is now a brand new vampire she may have been killed by ghouls, but she’s determined to be the best. But her determination won’t take her very far when she won’t even kill a deer for its blood. Not to mention she’s not as subservient to her master the Prince of Vampires aka Stephen as she should be.
She also finds herself at odds with the Queen of the Vampires who wants her Prince back. Despite him being a dead hot guy, and powerful enough to have broken free of the Queen’s influence once before. So now Tandi is caught in the middle.
Can Tandi survive the queen’s plan? Will she prove herself capable of overcoming the queen’s plans for her? You will have to read this amazing book/series.

MaddJax Series, Boxed Series Set, Book One & Book Two: A Second Chance Stepbrother/co-CEO Romance by Deborah Ann 5 stars
I love step sibling stories, and I really loved how differently this one was done. Maddison and Jaxon’s parents married secretly and sprung the kids together over dinner. Maddison, though she fights it so, so hard, just cant deny the pull to Jaxon. This series had it all, steamy scenes, drama, heartbreak and more. If you like step sibling stories this set is for you.

Trickster’s Hunt (Three Tricksters #1) by Carrie Whitethorne was an okay read that had an interesting concept, and a unique plot.
My first read by this author, I went in with an open mine. There are so many unique things and elements in this book that kept me reading and made it enjoyable. I loved the cat, like I want one.. a talking one. But there are some things that made me fall out of this story and caused me to be distracted.
The plot was slow moving and I found there was a lot of emphasis on the MC’s job, and the competitive eating. It actually stalled the plot at times, and in truth I skipped a lot of that. As interesting as it was, it just took away from the main plot. The MC, was, okay, I’m hoping she develops more, in the books to come, but for a first introduction it was, so-so. I was actually thrown off by the opening, and the way she describes how “Normal” she was. It was a little over the top, and for me, didn’t quite do the trick.
Overall this wasn’t a bad read. I loved the unique plot, I can’t say it, because I don’t want to spoiler that wonder, but I can tell you it isn’t like anything you’ve read before. And that cliff hanger, way to leave a girl in suspense. So give this book a chance, it has potential, and I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Evolution: Awakening by Hope Anika was WOW!! When I dived into this book I could NOT and DID not put it down. I stayed up long into the night to finish a book that grabbed me like no other has in a very long time. Ash, social outcast and circus performer veteran inherits her Uncles PI firm is the main character in this well written Science Fiction Romance. The story line grabs you, the amazing well written characters grab you heart, and the suspense takes you for an amazing ride that I sure did not want to get off of. I loved the drama, I loved the secrets, I loved the adventures, and really loved never knowing what was going to happen next! I am normally not a SiFi romance reader but I loved this book and loved the author so much I plan to make sure I read more of her! I simply was Wowed by this five star read!
Drawing Bloodlines by Deborah Garland is the first book in the Princeton Allegiant series and is a fresh perspective on vampires in my opinion. This story is about Alexander Manning and Elizabeth Lockspier, these characters meet at Elizabeth’s doctor appointment when Alex draws then drinks Elizabeth’s blood. She definitely handled that little scenario better than I EVER could! The story just progresses from there and is a page turner to say the least. I was drawn in from the very beginning. Alex was a strong character who I felt bad for at points throughout the story. As for Elizabeth, she’s an independent, single divorced mom, who is a math teacher that is enamored of the handsome vampire from the beginning. I liked the fresh take on the vampire culture and the world Ms. Garland has built. Between the hierarchy of the vampires and their “powers” I spent a lot of time on the edge of my seat. I loved the main characters and the secondary characters left me wanting to know what is going to come next and I look forward to the next book in this series. This is the first book I have read by this author but it definitely won’t be the last.

Ok confession time…The first words out of my mouth when finishing this book were..OMG Are you freaking kidding me??? Then…Oh yes it gets worse…I saw when the next book will be released and the first words then were…I am never reading another effing book..EVER
So..about an hour has passed and I’m over my little tantrum and feel like I can find some words to get me through this review. I flipping loved this book..Totally unique and different then I have ever read. I can see where this series is going to be in my favorites because there are so many stories to tell with this group of very interesting characters.
War and Grace were awesome and this story grabbed me at page 1 and still literally has not let go, I loved both of their stories and even how they met although not your average first meeting it still was as I said above very unique and I still see more story to tell for these two and I simply can not wait, especially after that ending…REALLY!? If I didn’t love my kindle so much it would be in a million pieces right now.. I also thought the addition of the cryptic notes from Mom were brilliant, this is why I love this author so so much…You just never really know and her talent for storytelling is in a class of its own.
But…I still need the next one like RIGHT NOW! LOL
Highly recommend, I just know this is going to be another home run series for this author.

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow! How many more times can I possibly say that Brandi Elledge just continues to get better and better! Book 1 was an incredible start, exciting and a brilliant introduction Book 2 was thrilling, exciting and totally captivating from the start. This book The Vampire Queen has been incredible from start to finish.
Tandi and Stephan have now become my all-time favourite through this whole series, while the other characters in previous books have been amazing to follow, there is just something about Tandi & Stephan that has made me smile the entire read! I absolutely loved the banter and the back and forth these two had, but also the protectiveness that both of them showed each other at certain times. You could tell something would come of these two as their connection was undeniable even if they tried to ignore it when it was in plain sight.
I loved learning along with characters, especially finding out all what was beneath the surface of Tandi and her unusual behaviour towards Vampirism. I also loved reading that there was more to Stephan than what we found out in previous books, whether that was the amount of power he actually possesses and of the heartache he has had to face at the hands of the Vampire Queen. Again Brandi Elledge has created a mentally visual read that I could picture the entire time I was reading this captivating, thrilling, suspenseful read, I can not fault the writing, the plot or the characters whatsoever. Everything about this book I loved! I once again would just love for it to have been in dual POV there were many scenes with Stephan that I needed to know what he was really thinking and feeling!
I CANNOT recommend this book enough, I loved every single bit of it! This is a book not to be missed, as well as a series that should not be missed! I can’t wait to see what else this author brings to this series and I will definitely be looking out for more of her reads.

This is my 4th book by this author and my 2nd in this series, not sure how I missed the first one but that is an easy fix 🙂
This author has a style of writing that lures you in from the very first chapter and she places twists and turns throughout that you seriously don’t see coming and although most are not life shattering, throw your kindle kind of twists they still pack quite a punch and I love love love that.
The anger displayed in the beginning of this story was completely justified on one side and completely understandable on the other once I knew the whole story. I love these books and the continuing story going on with some new people added to the mix in every book.
I love the connection between these brothers even if everyone of them are so very different and I already can not wait for Liam’s story and did I read that last part correctly? Sister? I can’t even imagine where this one is gonna go and what needs to happen to bring the evil down…
Love these books and can’t recommend them high enough and really anything by this author is an absolute must read!

Tainted Saint (The Hawke Family Book 5) by Gwyn McNamee
5+++++++ Stars
I’ve been dying to know more about Caroline since she has been weaved in an out of many of the other books in this series. She is Dani’s best friend and I’m so glad she got her own book. I’m also so glad she is just as feisty as I thought she would be and her move walking into that office and facing Luca was brilliant, a little crazy but simply brilliant.
I love this series, it’s one of those that I will read again back to back in the future, although I really don’t want it to ever end. Don’t even try to read any of these out of order…You need everything from book 1 on to get the full picture of everything taking place in all of these stories.
You could almost feel the heat radiating off the kindle reading the interactions between Saint and Caroline and you could also feel the frustration as Caroline just wasn’t one of those women that takes orders very well and poor Saint lol
I am completely invested in this family’s story and the way this one ended Oh My Word the next in this series can not come soon enough.
One click this author, seriously it doesn’t matter what she writes but this series is amazing and I just know you will love it as much as I do.

I was steered to this book by the title Squall Line and the cover with the War and Grace and the lighthouse in the background. Gwyn McNamee is a new author to me and she has become an author I will look for other books by her to read. I felt a connection immediately to War and Grace. I am a sea loving person and can see where a relationship can be formed. I can see War and Grace. They are attracted to one another but at what cost. You will have to read the book to find out all the details of the story. I will leave you this quote from the books description that I love: War and Grace. Dark and light. Love and hate. This storm may destroy them both…

MaddJax Series, Boxed Series Set, Book One & Book Two: A Second Chance Stepbrother/co-CEO Romance by Deborah Ann . This is a super steamy romance. Its the story of Jaxon Jaimison and Maddison Cole who are super infatuated with each other. Even when they first met at 15 they knew they would be together. The chemistry between them is sizzling. When Jaxon leaves town and breaks Maddison’s heart she doesn’t think she will ever heal and she knows she will never love again. Then Jaxon’s dad marries Maddison’s step sister making them step siblings causing another kink. When Jaxon comes back to town and just acts like nothing has happened will Maddison be able to forgive him and move on and not care what other people think about their relationship? I loved both these books. They are what a good romance is all about.

The Immigrant: An Italian in America ( Woman Scientist Novel 1, The Italian Saga by Gaia Amman. I love these books and this one takes us back to Leda’s growing up years and then follows her on her adventure to American to pursue her Graduate research. Leda is not sure if she did the right thing between missing her boyfriend, her band, her family and finding out all the differences in American and Italy. She is pretty shell shocked. We meet several new characters who try to help her thru her journey in America. Seeing Immigration thru the eyes of an immigrant is very eye opening. How they see American and the things we do is very comical. Will she survive this crazy time, will her relationship survive her being gone? I’ve really enjoyed these books and can’t wait for the next one

Dracones Guardian (Dracones Book 6) By: Sheri-Lynn Marean 5 out of 5 stars
The story Dracones Guardian (Dracones Book 6) by Sheri-Lynn Marean is a wonderful paranormal/fantasy book. From the very beginning, I was drawn to the characters and the storyline. It has action, danger, magical beings, and romance. I loved reading about the characters of Zander and Chloe. Zander is an archangel who is protective of his children. He is handsome, loyal, and fierce. He is unprepared for what he feels after meeting his next-door neighbor Chloe. Chloe is a kind, caring, and intelligent woman. She also feels something when she first meets Zander. There is an attraction that is only growing stronger. Their worlds both hold danger. Things are not always as they seem to be. Will Zander take a chance and move forward with his feelings for Chloe? How much danger does a new enemy that has arisen bring? Read this book to find out. This story does a wonderful job of building a world that has supernatural beings. There are many characters that are introduced and that I enjoyed finding out about who they are and their part in the story. There are also twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. The book had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. This is a book that I loved reading and I found that I didn’t want to put it down until I had read the final page. Highly recommended.

The Immigrant: An Italian in America by Gaia B Amman is from the Woman Scientist novel 1, The Italian Saga series. Leda is on her way to the United States for a year of graduate studies to continue on her career path of cancer research. I have enjoyed reading about Leda and her adventures in past books and this was a great continuation of the story. Leda is smart and funny. Her story tells a realistic perspective of uprooting her life to continue on her path. I enjoyed the story and the new characters brought into Leda’s life. I like the relatability of the story and look forward to reading more in Leda’s adventure in the future.

I love it when authors take a step out of their writing comfort zone and write something different and I absolutely take my hat off to Ms McNamee because she absolutely nailed this story!! I have read every book that she has written so far so I was really excited to see if she could keep my interest with a new genre and she absolutely did and more! I was completely hooked from beginning to end – in fact it is one of those books that you can’t wait to read again and it isn’t very often that I read a book more than once! I loved War and Grace! They were both just totally amazing to read about! Both strong and independent in their own right – almost like an alpha male vs an alpha female! I loved the interaction between them and also the obvious attraction!! I can tell that this is going to be an amazing series and I cannot wait for the next book to be released!!

The Vampire Queen (Wheel of Crowns Book 3) by Brandi Elledge is another fantastic story to this wonderful this series that I absolutely love. The paranormal fantasy world that Brandi has created speaks to you and to the struggles and triumphs these wonderful characters. Brandi’s humour never fails to make me laugh out loud. Charlie’s best friend from book two gets her own story and it is great. The mystery and the unknown, the trials and tribulations and never knowing what will happen next makes for one explosive and action packed read. This series is enthralling has you riveted to your seat. I have said before that the only thing that could make the story better is if it was told in the male POV as well, which is something I love.
Tandi is now a vampire after being killed by ghouls in book two. She has who don’t care and only her best friend as family but she has a new person in her life that she loves more than anything but when that person is taken away, she vows to hunt down those that caused it. She now finds herself in a situation of that as a major player in the war. Witches and warlocks, werewolves and vampires, demons and fae, and many others fight to the death to find the keys and destroy the evil vampire queen.
Brandi is a must have in my life and with this series. Make sure you read them in order and sit back and enjoy the thrilling ride that will have you enthralled.

Squall Line – The Inland Seas Series Book One by Gwyn McNamee is very different to other books that Gwyn writes but different didn’t make this story any less great, it’s just different and let’s just say it is most certainly well worth the read. This is just as much a page turner as Gwyn’s other books and I fell in love with the characters and their quirkiness and their normalness faults and all. The plot is well developed and had me intrigued and enthralled all the way through. The emotions, passion and chemistry between the main characters was like the squall they went through, wild and explosive and also vulnerable and sweet.
War was young and stupid and made a deal with the devil, a deal that he knows in the end no one will walk away from. What he didn’t expect is the one woman who got under his skin, the one woman that is driving him insane, the one woman that changed his life. Now if only he can keep her and himself alive.
Great start to the series and I can not wait for the next book to see where it goes.

Squall Line (The Inland Seas Series Book 1) By: Gwyn McNamee 5 out of 5 stars
The story Squall Line (The Inland Seas Series Book 1) by Gwyn McNamee is a contemporary romance/suspense book. It is a story that draws you in from the very beginning and I found myself turning pages to find out what happens next. I loved reading about the characters of War and Grace. Grace is a woman who is intelligent, feisty, and strong. She finds herself in trouble when she is taken by War. War is a man that is handsome, loyal, and conflicted. The plans that he made have gone up in smoke. He had no choice other than to take Grace. Both Grace and War have a growing attraction to each other. They are trying to ignore it. It only grows stronger. Will Grace be War’s salvation? What does the future hold for War and Grace? Read this book to find out. This story has some romantic scenes that have the temperature in the room rising. I grew to care about War and Grace with each chapter that I read. I enjoyed reading about the other characters introduced in the story and how they interacted with Grace and War. This is a book that has an atmosphere of suspense and I couldn’t put it down until I had finished the last page. This is the first book in a series and I can’t wait to read the next one. Highly recommended.

Secure Again: A Chase Group Story By: R.L. Dunn 5 out of 5 stars
The story Secure Again: A Chase Group Story by R.L. Dunn is a thrilling book that will leave you breathless. It had me turning pages and wondering what was going to happen next. There is mystery, action, danger, and romance. I loved reading about the characters of Dr. Elizabeth Reed and Martin “Farmer” Bailey. Elizabeth is an intelligent, strong, independent woman. She is a trauma surgeon who believes that every life is important and works hard to save each and every patient that she operates on. She also has become determined to find out the truth regarding the injuries that inmates from the local jail are being admitted for. Martin is the newly appointed CEO of Chase Security International when he is suddenly called home because his brother Austin has been shot. He finds out that Elizabeth is the one that is keeping Austin’s heart beating. Martin and Elizabeth have a history. A past in which there was heartbreak. The investigations that they have started are on a collision course. Those in Chase Security are trying to solve the mystery. Will they find out who the guilty ones are and bring them to justice? The danger keeps growing. Will all survive? Read this book to find out. This story had me constantly guessing about who was involved and I felt like I was trying to solve a puzzle. There are many characters that are introduced. There are many who help both Elizabeth and Martin. Then there are those with evil agendas that will do anything to make sure that their plans succeed and they are not caught. Will they be exposed? The book is fast paced and will have you on the edge of your seat. Highly recommended reading.
