Olivia is spoiled and rich. Seems to be disliked by many. And after she dump Callum, not only does the town not forgive her, but Callum doesnt either. He turns into this cold, menacing man who uses his resentment to push forward to teach Olivia a lesson. Olivia definitely comes off spoiled and stuck up. But she has issues that help make up that appearance. Callum is the exact opposite. He’s the town golden boy, so to speak. Well liked by all and very popular. Theres definitely way more than meets the eye to this story. It captivates from the very beginning. Well done!!!

Wow!! This book is so realistic it could be anyones life!!! Hawk and Olivia have grew up together from friends to lovers. He’s withdrawn from her and the club both. So he leaves the club thinking it will help. But after he leaves the club, he withdrawals even more. You have to read to find out the rest!!! This book is full of twists, plenty of emotion, and a sick ride that will loop you all over the place!!! Well done!!

This is a continuation from the last book. Troy and Jema are living off the grid, trying to survive. I loved that part of the book. Seeing what they did at their location to survive. The story surprised me at times and others it seemed in limbo. The characters are intriguing. I mean Troy and Jema are very smart and ingenious. They impress me with their maturity. When other people are added to the mix they take Troy and Jema at age value. They are always surprised when they realize what Troy and Jema can and will do to survive. I do enjoy all the coded messages, whistles and sign language among others that they use for communication. That was very cool!
Overall I didn’t love this (I really wanted to because book 1 impressed me so much). Among the action and drama there were too many lull times. I know some are expected but I was almost to the point of flipping pages during that time. The character building is good although I didn’t see much growth in the two main characters (secondary characters-yes). The world created was still great. Very different to think of the US that way. That ending??? It just blew me away! I was surprised and shocked!

The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. Wow! What an emotional roller coaster! Hawk’s Cry is book number 2 in the Satan’s Devils MC – Next Generation Series by Manda Mellett. Eli aka Hawk is the Vice President of the Satan’s Devils Motorcycle Club. Olivia aka Ollie or Liv (only used by Eli) is Hawks wife. They have been brought up by birth together, so it was only inevitable that they were to get married. Though they were somewhat pushed together, this is definitely true love. That is until Hawk has some serious doubts about his life with the club and with his wife. Then with the blink of an eye…No club, No family and No Friends. What happens when all you’ve known is club life and it’s all been taken away and you finally become a citizen? This book shows a woman who fights for her baby, her marriage and her life. It also shows a man who struggles with a disease and is shown full blown support. With that support he starts the road to recovery. This book has lots of twists and turns that no one is expecting. Like I said before, this story is an emotional roller coaster that leads to a very happy ending. It is book number 2 but you can read as a standalone, which I always say don’t do. I haven’t read such a great story in such a long time!

Lucifer’s Emblem: A Paranormal Academy Romance by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk is the first book in the Celestial Academy series and is a paranormal book. This book follows Lucifer’s daughter Zuri and her quest to track down Lucifers Emblem that was stolen. This leads her to Celestial Academy where she must create a false identity to even enter. She meets Miryam the daughter of an archangel that has issues of her own. I loved these two and the connection they had. Can the two figures out who stole the emblem and its secrets? Can their bond get past the bad blood between the families? This book was an amazing read and one I highly recommend. Can’t wait to read more in this series.

Love may not be perfect – but this book is! Copeland does a beautiful job weaving this tale and writing a very compelling HEA. I loved the premise and knew I had to read it. When I saw it was written by Copeland, I knew I was in for a treat. From start to finish this book held my attention. I thought Chloe was a beautifully developed character. I loved following her journey. Give me more!
I have read a couple of books from this author and she continues to blow my mind with her storytelling. I absolutely love a good fantasy read but she exceeded all my expectations. This is the second book to the supernatural intelligence agency. You do need to read the first book in order to understand what is going on. I was excited when I got this book. I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. I could not stop so I read this book straight through.
Someone wants to steal the Seal of Solomon and Lilandra is called to make sure that doesn’t happen. She has to travel to Vancouver in order to protect the Seal. Torch is book two in the Lovelock Series and it was a good 4 star read.
Following book one in the series, we start with Jema and Troy who have fled to the middle of nowhere setting up a safe place to stay until they get word on their next move. The virus has returned and some high ranking people are fighting over it. When a group of their friends end up joining them, the adventure kicks in from here.
Will they be able to save humanity?
They have a goal to reach and they are determined to get it done. You get pulled in right from the beginning and we get lots of twists and turns. We get action, danger and so much more. Jema was a strong character and all the secondary characters added a great element to the story. I couldn’t help but think about current events while reading this and kind of freaking myself out slightly, LOL. Could we possibly be getting another book in the series? I have read these authors before and I was really excited to read this the first book in a new series. I was not disappointed. I really found this book to be a great read. The characters are really brought to life as much as supernatural characters can be. I just love the angels and fallen theme to the book. I found that the idea of like a school setting was just an added bonus.
I really like how Miryam and Zuri become friends. I like the structure of the story and how the drama and romance is balanced out within it. I have always loved angel themed books and this is definitely one of my top ten. I will definitely be reading more from these authors in the future.

HIT AND RUN by Diane Hester. All I can say is WOW! I loved this book. I lost a night of sleep over it but it was sooo worth it! Its the story of Rainia Wilkins who is driving alone on a fall night in Maine when a man jumps in front of her car. She hits him and then he climbs into her car and forces her at gunpoint to drive to the airport. Before Rainia can even wrap her mind around what his happening he jumps back out of the car and runs into the woods again. What she doesn’t know is he left something very important in her car, something that he and others are willing to kill for. Thinking she will never see Alec Demarco again she goes on with her life but when he pops back up wanting what he left her life is turned upside down. Along with Alec and a a runaway teen she is forced to trust people she doesn’t know that she should and do things she wonders if she will get killed for. Not knowing who she can trust including the police Rainia is in for the fight of her life. This book is so amazing and I will jump at the chance to read another Diane Hester book!

Torch (Lovelock Book 2) by Tricia Copeland. This is the amazing continuing story from Book 1. Its the story of a group of teens trying to save their world. Jema is a 16 year old who has been deemed a traitor by her government for trying to share the DNA based cure for a lethal contagion in her world. Her own government is trying to hunt her and her friends down. Jema is a hard headed, strong, and lethal 16 year old girl and she will stop at nothing to save her people. Jema’s sinister uncle is leading the people trying to stop her and they must find him and force him to release the DNA cure. Fighting in horrible conditions in the desert she is learning of some people who may help her and her friends. But are they too late? Will they be able to win the war waged or will the be too late?
Turn up the Tempo by Charli B. Rose is the fourth book in the Lyrical Odyssey Rock Start series. These books can be read as standalones although I do think you should read the whole series as they are that good! Brittany has got to me one of my favourite characters that I have read for a long time. There was just that something about her that made me really connect with her. And Brooks seems to be just perfect for her – they both seemed to have the same kind of flawed about them. The story is well written too. It has a little bit of everything in it to make it that unputdownable read. This series really does seem to get better with each book that is released. I can’t wait to see what the author does next.

The Seal of Solomon by Nadine Travers was a great story! Flowed right along great after reading Blood Rebellion. I thought this novel was a bit more intriguing to read, with more mystery. I immensely enjoyed reading this one! Great story, great characters, I’m glad I got to read more about the warrior witches, as they were only just introduced at the end of Blood Rebellion. I highly recommend this story and can’t wait to read the next installment!

Having read the previous book in this series and enjoying I was looking forward to this one and I wasn’t disappointed. The dystopian genre isn’t really one that I read but I found I was really able to get in to this story quite quickly. It was an interesting and intriguing read and with the world currently going through the situation we are the book is actually quite apt – maybe that’s why I felt like I could get into more as I was able to draw some parallels to real life possibly?!? Just hopefully not the vaccine part of the book!! The authors writing is great, she really drags you into the world that she has created and her descriptive language is great – really helps me as a reader build a picture of what I am reading. It was also nice to read a more plot driven story – I felt like I was really into what I was reading rather than thinking about the characters and their development. Overall a good read, interesting storyline and I would definitely recommend it.
Perfect written by Tricia Copeland is the first book that I have read by his author. I really enjoyed this book and plot even though I was confused at certain times and the twist you won’t put the book down. The characters are well written with strong personalities and unique quirkiness.

I’ve always loved paranormal academy stories. This one is about angels and demons. Zuri is the daughter of a fallen angel and when a powerful relic is stolen, she goes in search of it. It leads her to Celestial Academy, a school for the children of angels. Forming an uneasy alliance with Miryam ( the daughter of Archangel Michael), they search for the culprit before the Apocalypse is unleashed. Will this tentative bond ease the bad blood between the Fallen and the Archangels?
I loved the characters in this novel. Each one was unique and likeable. Zuri is a strong lead who is smart and fearless. Miryam, being her opposite, needs to have faith in herself and learn where her strengths lie. I think they made a very good team. The secondary characters added an interesting aspect to the story as well. This is a good start to what I think will be an awesome series. Looking forward to seeing what their next adventure will be.

I enjoyed this book by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk. The story is about The Fallen and Archangels and it was a fun romp throughout. Lucifer’sEmblem is a funny young adult novel that can be enjoyed not only by kids, but by adults as well. Being a part of the story and watching the friendship of Zuri and Miry come together was enjoyable. I really liked the fact that Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk made the heroines different and unique as I think this will help young readers realize this it is okay to be different and unique. Lucifer’s Emblem was funny and had enough adventure to make it a good book to read. I look forward to the next book in this series.

This is a brilliant angels and demons book, I really enjoy paranormal books and this one did not disappoint. The story flowed brilliantly and the characters was very well written, especially the relationship between Zuri and Damian, their friendship is wonderful. It gives a different take on good verses evil. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Very much looking forward to the next instalment.

This is a great young adult story. And it is an amazing first book. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
Zuri is the daughter of Lucifer. She lives a pretty boring life as the daughter of the leader of hell. All she has to do is learn the way to run hell so she can take over from her father. However she longs for adventure and she gets her wish when a special Emblem is stolen. This Emblem protect Lucifer from the Archangels and in the wrong hands it can cause trouble. So Zuri follows the theif and finds herself on Earth at a school for saints and angels.
Miry is the daughter of Archangel Michael who is headmaster of the Celestial Academy. Nothing she does seems to make her dad proud of her so when a new student arrives asking for help to find a stolen part of history she jumps at the chance to help and hopefully gain her fathers pride.
Can the two girls work together to recover the Emblem and stop it being used for evil? Or will the gap between heaven and hell mean that the lack of trust makes this a lost cause?

This was a fantastic novel with twists to the storyline which made even more exciting! It was brillaint build up full of what ifs too which even after you’ve finished you left thinking what if this happened instead. I love how Chloe the main character grew throughout the story it was interesting to read. It’s not your conventional romance it’s different but in a great way it’s got a witty storyline that will leave you hooked! I can’t wait to read more from this author fantastic!!!

Finding Leda, the Science of Happiness (The Italian Saga #5) by Gaia B. Amman. I have read many other books by Ms. Amman. I have enjoyed the ones that I have read. In this book we follow Leda’s journey throughout college while she is trying to find herself and what will make her happy. There are many ups and downs throughout this book. It was an emotional read and I absolutely loved it. I can not wait for more!!

This is my first book by this author and i thought it was great. The author kept me on my toes and I was happy to turn page after page. Nathan and Bryer are the main characters and they have so much passion between the two of them they’re are on fire. They both have some changes that need to be made and we watch as they navigate through life and figure things out. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series and i would recommend this to a friend! Happy Reading!

Torch is the second book in the Lovelock series by Tricia Copeland. This YA/Dystopian is filled with action, adventure and deep provoking subjects. I would highly recommend you read book one, Lovelock Ones, first to get the full storyline. Jema and her friends are back and trying to save the world. Tricia Copeland is a great storyteller and this series is one of my favorites. I enjoyed the growth of the characters. I read this book in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down.
Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara was a fun comic adventure read! It’s not a comic book but the whole time I have been reading it is what I picture. This is the third book in the series and things are starting to get dark and definitely more interesting. I love the plot and story telling. I am looking forward to the next book!
