My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Dares & Dice (Spicetopia Book 5) by Phoebe Alexander was a great 5 star read.

Could they have just one last fling or will they want more?

Spicetopia definitely turns up the heat for these two and anyone that visits. The author pulls you right in with her writing, you feel like your right there with the characters. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Curse of Seduction by C.R. Robertson was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning.

We start out by learning about how Ezekiel was cursed. Every time he is with a woman the Blood queen takes a piece of their memory, which is why he tries to only be with them once so they don’t become like a corpse.

Ilana is part human and part vampire, she has been keeping a secret. She can’t feed from a human without getting sick to her stomach. She has been able to hide it so far without any issues, but how long will it be before someone finds out her secret? She has been crushing on Ezekiel for years, every time she sees him her body gets very needy. When Ezekiel and his brothers have to pick people to fight with them, she ends up being picked by Ezekiel. He is intrigued by her and want’s to learn more about her.

I can’t tell you how much I loved Ilana, she had me LOL so many times with her thoughts.
Every woman had that one man she’d give her left fang to spend a night with. Mine was Ezekiel, Prince of the Incubi. He was sex on legs.

Ezekiel, wow where to start with him, he was hot and he could rock a woman’s world in bed. Ilana was a strong character that could definitely hold her own in a fight. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story as well. It has been quite a while that I’ve read this genre and loved it. My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Stepbrother (Step Dilemma Series Book 1) by Stacy McWilliams was a good 4 star read.

I really enjoyed Bailey and Coopers story. They didn’t start out on the best foot but she still found him hot as heck. You could feel the hate between them coming off the pages. My emotions were all over the place for Bailey and everything this poor girl went through. Her parents divorce, she loses someone close to her and so much more. All she wanted and needed was someone to love her and treat her with respect. She had no real parents, which broke my heart.

Cooper, where to start with this one. The way he treated Bailey definitely does not lead you to think that he has feelings for her. His brother was awful as well.

Will Bailey finally find someone to love her?

Overall I enjoyed this read. All of the characters added a great element to the story, however I really do not care for Bailey’s parents or her stepmonster. I was pulled into all of the drama, be prepared to cry here and there. We do end in a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hawk’s Cry (Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #2) by Manda Mellett was a great 5 star read. I was excited to read the next book in the series. I was pulled in right from the beginning.

This is Hawk and Olivia’s story, they are preparing for their new baby. Hawk wants to get out of the MC life but it’s not as easy as it sounds. He keeps it all built up inside and increases his anxiety which causes distance between him and Olivia. Olivia is trying to figure out why Hawk is pushing her away. Things get even more interesting when there is a scary twist that involves Olivia.

How will everything turn out for Hawk and Olivia?

Overall this was a great read. This was a very emotional rollercoaster of a read, I was exhausted by the time I finished. It was great seeing all the MC members again, they are such a great family that watches out for their own. I’m loving this series and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Thank you Manda Mellett for another great read. 1-click and get started today.

Holding Out for YouHolding Out for You by Anna Paige
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Holding Out for You by Anna Paige was a great 5 star read.

We start with Blair and her friend going to a party. Blair’s friend has set her up on a blind date that is a total bust, he is not the guy for her. She gets a call from her brother to go get his best friend Ashton. The man that has done nothing but torment her through the years.

At the party she ditches the date and hangs with her friends. Ashton crashes for a quick conversation with Blair and ends up leaving with a little bit of jealousy on the brain. Why is he jealous? Just a few more short pages into the book these two admit their feelings for each other. There is a twist and we get an even better story.

We get several POV’s in the book which I really enjoyed. All of the characters were great.
The author does a great job of pulling you right into the story. The chemistry between Blair and Ashton was great, they were made for each other. I would love to see a book come from some of the other characters in this one. If you’re looking for a great read, 1-click and get started today.

Throwback by Zeia Jameson – Review by Michelle Austin

ThrowbackThrowback by Zeia Jameson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Throwback by Zeia Jameson was a great 5 star read.

We start by getting clips of Livy and Jeremy’s childhood up to an adult. They both had different but heartbreaking childhoods. Livy was counting the days until she was 18 so she could get out and away from her mom. Jeremy lost his dad to a drunk driver when he was little and wanted to make his mom proud.

These two end up meeting at the bar Livy worked at and they had an instant connection. As they start dating they have to learn to drop their walls and learn to trust each other. They also have some challenging twists and turns.

Can these two have a HEA?

There is so much more to this great read that I don’t want to give away. This author has done a great job of pulling me in with her writing and I couldn’t put it down. Great debut novel! I loved the characters, my emotions were up and down at times with them. There are some scenes that I would suggest 18+ readers only. I am excited to read more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

Forbidden Desires: Taken by her Son’s Best Friend (Confessions of a Trophy Wife Book 1) by L.M. Mountford – Review by Michelle Austin

Forbidden Desire (Confessions of a Trophy Wife, #1)Forbidden Desire by L.M. Mountford
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Forbidden Desire (Confessions of a Trophy Wife #1) by L.M. Mountford was a steamy 4 star read.

Elizabeth is in a marriage that has diminished the last few years. She doesn’t feel the love and romance that was once there. Her husband is always gone for work and now her son has gone off to college. She has the whole house to herself and she is extremely lonely.

When she goes to her best friends house she ends up seeing Hugh. Hugh is not only her best friend’s son but her son’s best friend. You can feel their connection as soon as she walks in the house. They have a steamy moment, however she rushes off. Hugh is not letting her get away that easily and shows up at her house. Will Elizabeth push him away again?

Overall this was a quick read with lots of steamy moments. I rated it a four because it felt rushed in some areas. I also would have liked to have gotten a little more to the story. There is a little twist that threw me off and I had to reread that piece. Note, if you don’t like cheating this isn’t the book for you. If you like hot and steamy (melt your kindle) then you will want to 1-click. I read this in a couple of hours. I look forward to reading more from this author and series.

Why (Stalker Series Book 2) by Megan Mitcham was a great 5 star read.

The story starts with Genevieve representing her mentor and boss in court. He is being accused of killing his family, a family that she has known personally. She gets a lot of heat representing him but she ends up winning the case.

There is also a detective that has gotten her attention following the case. He was on the other side and had warned her that she was representing a killer. And, will Genevieve and the hot detective get together for more than a conversation?
