The Slip Series is a compilation of three scandalous novels. Each is connected to one another through the characters but can also be read as a standalone. They are scandalous, funny, exciting, and romantic. Each story is an easy and quick read. The storyline for each flows easily and I had a hard time putting it down. Such an excellent read!

Comedy and Romance at its finest! The Slip Series Collection is written by Gwyn McNamee and let me tell you it’s fantastic! You can read all of these individually but I would read them in order because the main characters come from the previous books. Now, let’s start with the first one. Dick Slip. Yes, that’s the name of the first book and yes, that’s exactly what happens in this book. Rafe is a TV personality for a children’s show about bones and fossils. Andy is the new CEO of the network. During a televised charity basketball game Rafe had a “wardrobe malfunction.” However, when these two meet…sparks fly and hooking up was inevitable even though they fought it for a while seeing as though it was against company policy. Book 2 is Nip Slip. Yes, once again that’s the name and that’s exactly what happens. LOL! Apparently, wardrobe malfunctions runs in the family and this time it’s Rafe’s twin sister Riley. Riley is a fashion model who has been given her biggest chance of her career and right at the peak of it…oops! Tate is the editor of Haute magazine. He is also a former model and was front and center for Riley’s perfect moment. However, the designer that Riley was modeling for wasn’t very understanding. Tate saw that and wants to expose him and wants Riley to help with that. Not to mention he wants Riley too! Now, the third book in this collection is Beaver Blunder. Yep! You guessed it! It is totally what you are thinking! Miss Madeline is Riley’s best friend and on her way to court one day she slipped and fell and whoops there goes her skirt! Who’s there to save her? Tate’s best friend and lawyer, Owen. Madeline is a pistol all by herself and Owen is so intrigued by it! Can Owen beat a badass litigator? This series is full of laughter, steamy hot sex and tons of romance! I give it two thumbs up and would recommend it to EVERYONE!

The Slip Series Collection by Gwen McNamee is a great collection of stories that are quick, easy and funny reads. Each story is a romantic comedy that are scandalous and you will have a smile on your face and will be laughing out loud from start to finish.

Dick Slip One man’s pride is sorely tested when he inadvertently exposes more of himself than he ever wanted to share, let alone at a charity event and on live television for all the world to see.

Nip Slip Riley is the next up and coming big thing in the industry world. That is until a wardrobe malfunction sends the designer into a spin, effectively ruining any chances she has of her dream.

Beaver Blunder Madeline Ryan has fought hard to get where she is in a cut throat mans world, but one spill could change all that. She knows that she has to pull up her big girl panties and carry on as if she is not the laughing stock of the moment.

This one read that no one and I mean no one should miss. I highly recommend this book box to anyone and everyone and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Gwyn McNamee is by far one of my all-time favourite authors. She has a brilliant writing style that flows effortlessly and she creates stories that are captivating and engaging and that is not different from the collection of books in the Slip Series. Made up of the books Dickslip, Nipslip & Beaver Blunder, Gwyn McNamee has created three easy quick romantic comedies that are funny, romantic, steamy & captivating and to top it off they have some wonderful characters. I like that each book connects through one of the characters that you read about in the previous book, it brings the stories to a whole and ultimately ties each character’s story together. All the characters are strong, relatable and ultimately make each story better!
Even with each story having an embarrassing moment there is something light-hearted about these reads.
These are great reads that shouldn’t be missed – you will be laughing out loud and feeling for these characters along their journey. Don’t miss these reads!

The Slip Series Collection by Gwyn McNamee features Dick Slip, Nip Slip and Beaver Blunder. Each of these stories is a fun and entertaining read. Characters experiencing mishaps that throw their lives into the blender and they work to navigate some semblance of balance back into their lives. There is no limit to the amount of laughter each of these stories will generate for you as you read. In Dick Slip, Rafe – a television personality and Andy – CEO in the industry start off the collection. Attraction and steaming chemistry are present whenever these two cross paths within the story. However, can these two survive the media and the aftermath of the slip? In Nip Slip, the sides switch with Riley – a stunning model and Tate – a magazine owner are now in the limelight on how to remedy the situation that one little slip has unleashed. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Slip series is a collection of three extremely hilarious stories by ultra talented author Gwyn McNamee. They comprise of Dickslip, Nipslip and Beaver Blunder. They are highly entertaining and some of the best written books I have ever read.

Dickslip

The title of this book was the first tick in the awesome box. The author was the second. I enjoyed this story with wild abandon. A guaranteed 5 star author, I knew this was going to keep me immersed and invested for hours.

Rafe is hilarious from the get go, and Andy a force to be reckoned with. Individually, these characters shined and delivered elements of humour, attraction, dramatics and edge. Together they sizzled. From one chapter to the next, there was always a lot going on. Crisis after crisis, Rafe and Andy handled everything thrown at them with wit, clumsy finesse, and passion.

I was totally enraptured by this latest incredible read by Gwyn McNamee. An assured top quality story that has a bit of everything. Readers will want to add this to their to be read list. A definite five star story.

Nipslip

Nipslip is book two in the Slip series by Gwyn McNamee. me just say how much I adore this author. These stories are short, sexy, very funny, slightly mysterious and hugely dramatic. These stories captivate and impress me infinately. Gwyn McNamee is such a talented author and one of my favourite.

The leading lady doesn’t have a lot of luck when a wardrobe mishap befalls her. Tate was a witness and was immediately inrigued by this stunning woman. The story just evolves beautifully, like slowly blooming flower. But tuere was nothing slow about the heat and intensity between these two. The story started out fast paced and rocketed to the finish way too soon. I would love to have kept reading this incredible story. 5 stars.

Beaver Blunder

Beaver Blunder is book three in the Scandalous Slipup series by Gwyn McNamee. It is yet another hilarious and sexy short story by an edgy author that is not afraid to change it up and create stories that are unforgettable. There are so many facets to these stories it is hard to put into words just how powerful and entertaining they are. Each character is one of a kind, and even though the storylines highlight some of the more embarrassing moments in these characters lives, each one is unique and offer a reader so much more than the standard rom com. I cannot get enough of these types of stories.

Madeline and Owen kept me awake and dreaming them when I slept. These characters will stay in my heart and mind always. 5 stars.

A must read series that is side splitting fun and will leave you with everlasting fond memories.

This is a fantastic box set of stories – all of them are absolutely hilarious! I love this author and her books never fail to entertain me. I am always dragged straight into her stories and the characters she creates are wonderful. This box set includes D*ckslip, Nipslip and Beaver Blunder.

D*ckslip – Book 1
Oh my god this book had me full on laughing out loud by the end of the first few pages. There was nothing missing from this book, apart from the fact it ended! I could have read about Andy (Andrea) and Rafe forever. Andy was a great character, she stood up for what she believed and tried not to back down in a male dominated workplace. Poor Rafe, I did feel for him but for some reason I wish I was at that basketball game!! *wink wink* I really like his character as he was genuinely a lovely person.
I really did love everything about this book and loved that it wasn’t predictable. It was as I expected from this author brilliantly written, fantastic characters and a great storyline. The secondary characters were also great especially Rafe’s (older by 6 minutes) sister, she made me laugh a few times!

Nipslip – Book 2
I know by now that whenever I pick up a book by this author I am in for an entertaining read and NipSlip was no different. Having just read and loved DickSlip I was really looking forward to another romantic comedy to laugh at and laugh I did at this book! I loved it from beginning to end.
I just loved Riley and Tate. Poor Riley I really did feel sorry for her with her wardrobe malfunction, but it did make me chuckle! I loved the chemistry between the two; I was definitely rooting for them the whole way through. I think I might just be a little bit in love with Tate if I am completely honest!!

Beaver Blunder – Book 3

After reading the first two books in this series I had no idea where the author would go with any subsequent stories but she has absolutely knocked it out of the park with this book! I was literally crying at some parts (crying from laugher I should add). I know when I read a book from Gwyn McNamee not to even bother doing anything else because I won’t be able to take my eyes off my kindle screen and that was true again! I loved by D*ck slip and Nip Slip but this one is my absolute favourite! I loved all of the characters, especially Maddie and Owen and it was great to see characters from previous stories appear too! Maddie, that poor, poor girl. I really did feel sorry for her! But I loved her tenacity and the way in which she was determined to get back to work despite what happened. I loved the connection between her and Owen and well I have got to be honest I am totally in love with Owen – completely and utterly head over heels in love with him! I don’t know how this author manages to come up with such amazing characters who are never the same! She truly is a literary master!!

This collection has 3 of the most fun books to read,

Dick Slip
Nip Slip
Beaver Blunder

Each a very quick read, and each will have you laughing out loud and I even found myself blushing during the slips…

You could I suppose read all of these as stand-alone’s but I would not recommend that because all of the characters intertwine either by family or friendships and you would be missing out on some seriously awesome stories if you don’t read them all.

This author is an absolute favorite of mine and I read anything and everything with her name on it. Although these are funny rom coms, they each have a story to tell and will keep you hooked from start to finish.

Absolutely Loved them all and so glad I have them in a set so when I go back to reread they are all right there for me.

The Slip Series Collection by Gwyn McNamee is a hilarious set of three books. I can’t remember laughing out loud more while reading any other books. The situations and how everything went down were a perfect formula.

Dickslip is the first of thr series and I think it was my favorite. So often it’s the woman who have the wardrobe malfunctions but this time it was the guy. Evidently everyone there got an eye full. Rafe’s career as a children’s TV host ends up being in jeopardy. Great read.

Nipslip is the second and it was as funny as the first and I really enjoyed it. It just amazes me how people freak out when they catch sight of a little extra skin. Thankfully Riley exposes herself to the right person.

Beaver Blunder is the last book and this one had me laughing, gasping and cringing all at the same time. This is the worse possible wardrobe malfunction scenarios a woman can find herself in. I loved the way it was handled.

I love this author and this series. If you want a great laugh while reading I highly recommend this series.

I absolutely adore anything with Gwyn McNamee’s name on it, so I am naturally biased I will confess that up front and center, but this is such a fantastic steal you just have to grab this, I know I did and I got a few extra for some fun gifts for a few gal friends. I have read Dick Slip and Beaver Blunder and laughed so hard I nearly peed myself (no shame I have had c-section LOL) they were that good, so when I went to grab the third and saw the box set well hell yes I will take three LOL! I included my reviews that I did post of the other two books. I will have to come back and update some more when I get through Nip Slip but I am sure it will be just as hilarious and fantastic! Can’t wait to see what will come next from the ever fabulous Gwyn McNamee! Happy reading!

DICK SLIP

“Double facepalm. This calls for two.”

This was such a lighthearted and hilarious novella. Obviously, the laughs start just by reading the title, so imagine how much fun can be had between the front cover and those magical words… The End. In fact, I will say the only downside to this story would have to be the length, simply because I had fallen in love with the characters so much I wanted more from them. It is a standalone so that is another positive, but if you enjoy this book I would also recommend checking out the rest of Gwyn McNamee’s novels as they are all great.

Rafe was there for the charity, this was supposed to be a fun basketball game between him and a bunch of other celebrities. Unfortunately for him, fate had a different idea in mind. One little wardrobe malfunction and suddenly he is in the middle of fighting for his career and having to show up at his boss’s office to answer for this incident.

“Wide-eyes and gaping mouths- that’s all I see from the 15,000 plus spectators who came here to enjoy a basketball game played by celebrities.”

“And instead of playing a friendly game of basketball and raising money for the sick kids, I just shot down my career with a scud missile.”

Then the next twist of fate lies in the hands of his new boss, Andy Mason, who turns out to be a woman, a hot and kind woman. The kind that can lead to troubles. It is literally only the second day on the job for Andy, and not only is she dealing with a major crisis, but she has to prove her worth for the job she was hired to do.

“On my second day? For the love of all that is holy, why does it have to happen now?”

“Sexy and formidable. She has me almost believing my job is as safe as she says it is.”

“She is sex on a stick. There’s just something about a powerful woman who takes control and knows what she wants that does something to me, and Andy is precisely all those things.”

Turns out Andy thinks that Rafe is pretty attractive too. Only problem is it can never happen right? Because she is the boss, and the boss can’t date the employees.

“Yeah, being the boss sucks sometimes, because that can never happen. Nothing ever can.”

Will she risk everything to save his job? Will they be able to address their feelings for each other, or are they destined to be twisted by fate just a little bit more?

BEAVER BLUNDER

“Just keep your legs crossed, Madeline. Keep ‘em crossed.”

Beaver Blunder is the third novel in Gwyn McNamee’s Scandalous Slip series. I have laughed till I had tears running down my face. I have yelled at my kindle, and the characters as if they were right in front of me. This novel, as well as the other two before it, completely overtook my life for a few hours and I loved every minute of it.

“Of all days to run out of clean underwear… It’s only the biggest trial of my career.”

The concept is we are humans. And in being humans we make mistakes. The most brutal ones often come with some hilarious moments and memories that will forever be with us, or haunt us, depending on how you look at it lol. In Beaver Blunder we meet Madeline. On the most important day of her career she just happens to be fresh out of clean underwear. No problem as long as she has a little grace right? Yeah, she doesn’t have any grace, what-so-ever!

“Slipped.”

“Fell.”

“Skirt up.”

“No underwear.”

“Vagina.”

“So embarrassing.”

Madeline never thought she would see Owen Grant, a fellow attorney who just happens to witness her most embarrassing moment of her life. Problem is, Owen is thinking about the beautiful Madeline long after that initial meet up. Owen has a personality that promises to set off Madeline in all the ways that would normally turn her off of a guy. But fate has different plans for the two. It is a hot and steamy, and HILARIOUS, story of how they get from this one embarrassing moment to the very end of the book. I can’t wait to see what is to come next from Gwyn!

“Lord Almighty, it’s positively sinful.”

The Slip Series CollectionThe Slip Series Collection by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Slip Series Collection contains the 3 novellas in the Slip Series by Gwyn McNamee: Dickslip, Nipslip and Beaver Blunder. All 3 are stand-alone novellas although there are some recurring characters. Each book starts with an embarrassing moment for the main character where they inadvertently expose an intimate part of their body which then causes major repercussions to their lives.
In Dickslip, Top children’s TV presenter Rafe accidentally exposes his ‘meat and 2 veg’ when playing in a charity basketball game which is watched my millions across the country. His unlikely ally is brand new CEO Andrea who fights his case against the male hierarchy in the TV world.
Nipslip, as the title may suggest starts with top model Riley’s nipple popping out of her dress when on the catwalk at New York fashion week. As well as being a funny rom-com this story also looks at the harsh realities behind the scenes in the modelling world.
Finally, in Beaver Blunder, attorney Madeline Ryan goes commando to work one day when she realises that she has no clean underwear. As fate would have it, that’s the day she slips in the courthouse, baring her most intimate place for all the other male attorneys to see. As a woman in a very male dominated profession, this ‘slip’ could cause major damage to her career.
Each of these 3 stories are sweet, funny romances which start out with embarrassing and career threatening situations but result in other life changing moments.

Looking for romance? Looking for laughs? Then this is a box set you HAVE to pick up! Gwyn McNamee has it locked down with The Slip Series Collection. Just the name of the collection should give you a hint! All the books in this series will take you on a hilarious journey.

From book 1, DickSlip, with its comedic banter between Rafe & Andy, Ms. McNamee ensnares the reader with great writing and all around good feelings. Although the story is not long you can’t help but be washed in positive energy and happiness while reading this book!

Onto book 2, NipSlip, which had me giggling as well as shedding a few tears! Ms. McNamee does a fantastic job of highlighting the ugliness behind the fashion curtains. The seriousness of the topic doesn’t detract from the story but enhances it. Fun-loving sassy characters, witty dialogue and crafty writing skills combine for a funny well-written story that you can’t help but love!

Rounding out this collection is book 3, Beaver Blunder. Holy hell, the name alone for this fantastic book!! Just like in books one & two, Ms. McNamee intersperses humor with a serious topic and knocks it out of the park.

Ms. McNamee doesn’t shy away from social blunders and how they can affect not only our self-esteem but our lives. Doing this with lots of laughter and even some tears, the emotions from these books abounds. Ms. McNamee is the best at crafting a story that will interest the reader, characters that you can’t help but love, humor that will have you doubled over with laughter and substance that will make these books a favorite for every reader. Dick Slip a five-star read that will have you slipping out. I have loved everything by this author I’ve read, this did not disappoint. It’s totally different to the Hawke Family series but it’s still just as good, it’s funny and sweet and hot all wrapped up in one great package. You need this book in your life, the author writes words that will make you smile as well as blush.
NipSlip a hilarious and side splitting five-star read. One slip, one click will life ever be the same again, for Riley Boswell or you if you one click this amazing series. The writing is funny and sweet you will be up there on the cat walk with Riley when her malfunction happens, something beyond her control that may still ruin her life. Gwyn McNamee will make you feel part of the story, you will be there with Riley and admiring Tate Decker as he moves about his office. This author has a talent of creating people whom no matter what happens to them you will still adore them.
Beaver Blunder a five-star read that will have you slipping up with laughter. This time it’s the misfortune of Madeline Ryan who has one brief mistake that would haunt most people for life, but Madeline isn’t like most people, she is a strong independent woman, she has fought her way up in a man’s world and come out fighting. But sometimes you fight so hard you forget to stop. This may be a lesson to those of us who like to swing in the breeze, never walk on a wet marble floor in heels, get someone to carry you!! It’s everyone’s worst nightmare…a wardrobe malfunction that exposes you to the world.

Laugh, cringe, and swoon through three stories of such embarrassing moments with the complete Slip Series Collection.

Dickslip
One wardrobe malfunction. Two lives forever changed.

Playing in a star-studded charity basketball game should be fun, and it is, until I literally go balls out to show up my arch nemesis. When I dive for the basketball and my junk slips out of my gym shorts, I know my life and career are over. There’s no way the network can keep my kids’ show on the air after I’ve exposed myself to millions of people. I don’t know how Andy, the new CEO, can go to bat for me with such passion. I also never anticipate how hot she looks in a pair of high heels.

Rafe’s dickslip has made my new job even more stressful. It’s hard enough being a woman in a man’s world without dealing with sex organs being publicly displayed when someone is representing the company. But he’s an asset to the network, not to mention hot as hell. I can barely keep my eyes off him or his crotch during our meetings. Defending him to the board puts my ass on the line as much as his, but it’s worth it. So is risking my job to fulfill the fantasies I’ve had about him since he first set foot in my office.

Things may have started out bad, but…Some accidents have happy endings.

Nipslip
One nipple. A world of problems.

I own the runway. Until my nipple pops out of my dress during New York Fashion Week and it suddenly owns me. Being called a worthless gutter slut by a fuming designer is the least of my problems. My career is swirling around the toilet like the other models’ lunches. Until smoking hot Tate Decker steps in with a crazy idea about how his magazine can maybe salvage my livelihood.

It’s less than two feet in front of me. Perfect and perky and pink. And the woman it’s attached to looks absolutely horrified. I need to help her, and not just because she’s beautiful and has a perfect rack. Using my position in the industry to expose the volatile nature of our business puts my career in jeopardy in an attempt to save Riley’s. I’m willing to risk that, but falling for her isn’t part of the plan.

When love and tits are involved…
Things can get slippery.

Beaver Blunder
One brief mistake. A world of hurt.

No panties. No problem. At least until I slip on the wet floor and go heels over head in front of my colleagues and half the courthouse. Returning to consciousness can’t be more awkward, until I find out who my sexy, argumentative, and bossy knight in shining armor really is. My career may not survive my beaver blunder, and my heart might not survive Owen Grant.

Madeline Ryan tumbles into my life on a wave of perfume and public embarrassment. She falls and exposes herself in front of me, and I find myself falling for her despite the fact she fights me every chance she gets. Being a woman in a good ol’ boy profession demands a certain brashness, but it definitely has me thinking, maybe litigators shouldn’t be lovers.

With stressful jobs and big attitudes, going commando has never been so freeing.
