Cowboy: Claimed Box Set by Various Authors – Review by Lisa Boltiador

Cowboy: ClaimedCowboy: Claimed by Melissa Keir, Cheryl Gorman, Leslie P. Garcia, Becca Turner, Lyssa Layne, D’Ann Lindun
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh boy- Cowboy Claimed is a collection of fast paced love with cowboys who are sweet as well as hot. The very first story has the added element of suspense, plus puppies! The next story has a sweet guy who’s still close with his family and can cook. There’s a former Marine and movie star, there’s second chances and holidays… it’s a good mix. For once I liked each book in a collection, and they’re all a good length, readable in a sitting. All new to me authors who I would read again.

Eastern Shore Swingers Books 1-3 (Boxed Set) by Phoebe Alexander – Review by Sara Oxton

Eastern Shore Swingers Books 1-3 (Boxed Set)Eastern Shore Swingers Books 1-3 by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Eastern Shore Swingers Books 1-3 by Phoebe Alexander a five-star read that will swing you around in circles. This is a great boxed set that you need in your life.
Fisher of Men by Phoebe Alexander a five-star read that will swing you round. This is the first book in the Fisher of Men series, and what a series, I did this one backwards and read the other books first then came back to the beginning, so I knew what to expect, hot, heavy and full of steam. What would you do if the man you fell in love with was the opposite of everything you have been led to believe, this one will have you wondering what choice would you make, would you have a hot a life if you did? Leah overall is a great character, but she did lack something, but where she meets Cap and them together, that is just pure magic, the chemistry is off the charts hot. This series starts with a bang and just gets better. I think this series may just be my favourite by this author, and this is a very strong story in the series.
The Catch by Phoebe Alexander is a five-star read. Paisley Parker is my hero, she’s a Sassy, Voluptuous, lady who rocks her bigger body with a confidence that would put most supermodels to shame. After working burlesque dancing and event planning for a few years in New York City she decides to move away to Ocean City, Maryland to become manager extraordinaire at a member only lifestyle club called The Factory. Paisley may rock her body with confidence, and that confidence is shown in her work, she makes it look easy. But she doesn’t have a lot of confidence in herself as a person, she has sworn of relationships and claims to be a lifestyle unicorn for life. This stands even when she has to find someone to create a website for the factory, as she’s not interested in a relationship is she? After her past she can’t be blamed for not wanting one.
Step in Calvin Mitchell, after getting a bad vibe from the first company Paisley meets about creating a website, she walks into Calvin’s office and immediately knows he’s the one, she gets that good feeling, despite the fact there is only him. He runs his own business and doesn’t bat an eyelash when Paisley explains what the Factory is. He agrees to get some ideas together and suggests they meet he suggests a business dinner, kind of like a business lunch except later in the day to discuss the options as he has come up with three mock ups. He knows a little about the lifestyle but isn’t into it, he’s a relationship man and a real one-woman man.
The Factory is run by an amazing threesome, Husband and wife team Cap and Leah Sheldon, and Paisleys personal mentor Casey Fontaine. Its classy and popular place that looks a little ruff on the outside but once you step through those doors, it’s like stepping into a different world, as bright colours and industrial steampunk meet in a lifestyle members dream. It’s a great place to set the book, it explains the lingo in a manner that you don’t feel is being dumbed down for readers like me who don’t know much about the lifestyle, But aint lifestyle virgins. Phoebe Alexander is a great writer who writes with a passion that, so few can manage.
Siren Call by Phoebe Alexander a five-star read that will call to you. This is book three in the series and I have read the others first and have loved the series, this is my favourite book by this author, and I had major book hang over after the second book in the series so that shows how good this one is. I will say do not read this book if you aren’t a mature reader and if you are easily offended or prudish. This author writes sex in a way that melts off the page, she writes grown up words that will make you blush, few people can write in such a graphic manner and still be something that you can sink your teeth into and not roll your eyes at.
Sirena and Jesse are a great pairing despite the age difference, it was nice seeing the differences and how they overcome them, as well as the other things they overcome, like keeping it professional, (something that is so much harder than you can ever imagine). This author has a great way of describing the story to you, it’s not too much there is details but nothing that goes to the extreme that you are bored, enough to grip and keep you gripped.

Eastern Shore Swingers Books 1-3 (Boxed Set) by Phoebe Alexander – Review by Angela Hayes

Eastern Shore Swingers Books 1-3 (Boxed Set)Eastern Shore Swingers Books 1-3 by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“There’s a secret club in Ocean City, Maryland, where swingers from all over the mid-Atlantic converge every weekend to frolic and play in its many themed rooms. Welcome to the Factory, where in the midst of all the fun, there’s always a romance blossoming, sometimes where you least expect it.”

This contains the first three books in the Eastern Shore Swingers Series by Phoebe Alexander. The stories are set in and around a swinger’s club and gives us a glimpse into that ‘lifestyle’. To many, this story may seem way out of your comfort zone, but I encourage you to keep an open mind and dive in, because you will be pleasantly surprised by what you find between the covers of these beautiful stories. Yes, this collection/series does have the swinging element to it, and while that is an important part of the plot, there is so much more to them all.
I love how Ms. Alexander weaves the swinging lifestyle into some wonderful romantic stories- while also infusing them with emotion, struggles, drama, acceptance, passion, and steamy moments. She’s a superb storyteller who writes fantastic, well balanced, sex-positive, realistic, and memorable stories! There’s never a dull moment to be found inside one of Ms. Alexander’s books, that’s for sure!

Fisher of Men (Book #1)

Fisher of Men is the first book in the Eastern Shore Swingers Series by Phoebe Alexander. This book is a wonderful, interesting and informative contemporary romance that explores the world of swinging- and what happens when a minister’s daughter meets a sexy swinger.
Leah Miller, who works as an Assistant Manager at The Pearl hotel in Ocean City, Maryland. She’s the daughter of a small town country Minister and has grown up with strict Christian values. It was always assumed that Leah would follow in her parents’ footsteps and join them in their ecclesiastical duties. But Leah had her own ideas and wanted to pave her own path, so she goes against their wishes and takes a scholarship to Cornell, getting a degree in Hotel Management. Little does she know that this decision will change her life forever. Meeting Captain “Cap” Chris Sheldon at a private party in the hotel where she’s working will be the first step on her new path, because it’s here that she discovers the private party Cap is attending is a swingers’ party….. and he is a swinger. This only the beginning of her journey where she will learn a lot about herself, her faith, and life.
This book is nothing like I thought it would be, and was deeper, sweeter and more meaningful than I had expected.

The Catch (Book #2)

The Catch is the second book in The Eastern Shore Swingers Series by Phoebe Alexander. This book is a wonderful contemporary romance that takes us on a journey into the world of swinging, so if you don’t like sexy, steamy, and erotic- then this probably isn’t the book for you!
But, having said that, don’t let the ‘swinging’ part of the story put you off reading this really great story, because if you go into it with an open mind you will be surprised by what you’ll find under the cover of this superb story, there is much more to the story than the erotic elements. There is depth and substance.
Paisley Parker is new to town and has been hired as a manager for the Factory (Private Swingers Club). She’s the definition of sex-bomb: a curvy burlesque dancer from New York. She doesn’t do relationships, only indulging in casual hook-ups. But is there more to her story? Is her confidence masking a deeper vulnerability?
In an effort to develop a website for the Factory, Paisley hires someone with the expertise to get the job done right. Enter Calvin Mitchell. He’s immediately drawn to her and would like to see where their mutual attraction may lead. So, what happens when this one-woman-man meets this wild and sexy woman? What happens when he learns about the club and the ‘lifestyle’? What about their age difference? And what happens when the past returns to haunt her?
This story is really well written, DUH- it’s Phoebe Alexander! There’s drama, emotion, passion, erotica, some suspense, surprises, friendship, connections, and lots of steam. The characters were wonderful and went through some development and growth over the course of the story. Once again Ms. Alexander has produced a enticing and sex-positive story, that drew me in right from the get-go.

Siren Call (Book #3)

Siren Call is the third book in the Eastern Shore Swingers Series by Phoebe Alexander. This is an erotic F/F romance with some drama and mystery.
This book is nothing like I thought it would be. I wasn’t sure about the F/F aspect to the story, not that I don’t like it, so much as it’s hard to find a good one with a story that has some substance, as well as some spice. I shouldn’t have doubted it though, because I know Ms. Alexander is such a talented author and always produces a memorable and entertaining read. She writes beautifully and has a relaxed, detailed and descriptive style that embraces you and guides you into the heart of her story.
Jessie Martinez is a Police Officer doing a favour for some friends. They ask her to look out for one of their club members. It’s not really such a bother, because the club member in question has caught Jessie’s attention, and she’s more than attracted and intrigued. There is definitely more to the situation than meets the eye and Jessie is determined to discover what it is.
Sirena joined the club as a way to escape. A distraction and diversion from her painful memories and the heartache she’s endured. She wasn’t going to ‘crack’ so easily. But the more she gets to know Jessie the weaker her defences were becoming. What is she hiding? What happens when her secrets are revealed? What does fate have in store for them? You really must read the story and find out all the incredible details, because I don’t want to give away any spoilers her.
I love these characters, they are so lovingly crafted- fully developed individuals who are realistic and totally believable.
The story is passionate, erotic, emotional, interesting and entertaining. I loved how Ms. Alexander was able to bring the whole story to life and give it energy, heart and soul. I also appreciate sex-positive and body-positive messages that Ms. Alexander promotes through her storylines. This book is definitely a real showcase for/of the authors writing skills……

So, as you can see there is a variety of storylines here to explore. All are beautifully written, detailed and descriptive- nothing but the best from Ms. Alexander. Well worth the read- take a leap into the Eastern Shore series today- you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what you find here!

Thank you, Ms. Alexander!

Snatching Dianna (Feisty Lawyers Series Book #1) by Seelie Kay – Review by Angela Hayes

Snatching Dianna (Feisty Lawyers, #1)Snatching Dianna by Seelie Kay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Snatching Dianna is the first book in the Feisty Lawyers Series by Seelie Kay. This is a short story, which makes it a very quick and easy read. There is intrigue, suspense, humour, action, adventure, danger, drama, some romance, and a bit of spice.
Dianna Murphy is a beautiful, smart and savvy college student, who’s studying law. When she goes missing, her roommate is frantic and approaches law professor Janet MacLachlan for help in tracking her down. Janet is an ex-secret agent, and she in turn enlists the help of her husband Cade Matthews (who is a covert operative) and the local police chief, David Manders. Realizing they have a lot of ground to cover and need more man-power, they also recruit David’s wife, as well as several law students- and the ‘team’ gets to work to try and figure out what happened- before Dianna disappears forever. And so starts a chain of events that takes the investigators (and us) on quite the adventure. Across continents, from the United States to Morocco, this story is quite a gripping tale. An intense investigation leads to an international human trafficking ring… and now it’s not just Dianna’s safety on the line!
I really enjoyed this clever little suspense. I love the characters, having met Janet MacLachlan, Cade Matthews and Anders Mark in “Hanging From a Ledge”- which was one of the short stories in the “Kinky Briefs Cinque” collection. I loved them then, and now after this story, I love them even more. I enjoyed their chemistry, funny banter, quips and antics. It made them quite realistic and very endearing.
I think Janet and Cade’s adventures would make a great Television series.
I can’t wait to see what new adventures and investigations await in the future instalments of this new series!

Thank you, Ms. Kay!

Reckless – An Anthology by Mika Jolie, Kylie Stewart, P.M Carson, Sharla Lovelace – Review by Angela Hayes

Reckless - An AnthologyReckless – An Anthology by Mika Jolie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reckless is a fantastic Anthology of stories from four brilliant authors. Each author brings their own style and adds their own flavour to the collection, making for superb reading. The authors may all be different, but their styles and stories do complement one another, too. All the author’s have used the same inspiration as the basis for their stories- which is taking chances, doing the unexpected, throwing caution to the wind, and being Reckless when in pursuit of love and happiness- we get to follow along as they explore this notion.

The Anthology contains:
-Layla’s Chance By: Mika Jolie
-Dirty Martinis By: P.M Carson
-Into the Deep By: Kylie Stewart
-The Spy Who Kissed Me By: Sharla Lovelace

Ms. Jolie and Ms. Stewart are authors whose work I am quite familiar with- but Ms. Carson and Ms. Lovelace are new-to-me- so reading this anthology has not only given me stories from two authors I already love, but introduced me to two others who I will be adding to my TBR and reading more of in the future.
Each story was well written and engaging, keeping me entertained from beginning to end. I highly recommend this anthology, you really should dive in right now, you really won’t be disappointed!

Thank you to all the contributing authors!

Degrees of Control (Prestian Series Book #3) by Via Mari – Review by Angela Hayes

Degrees of Control (Prestian Series, #3)Degrees of Control by Via Mari
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Degrees of Control is the third book in the Prestian series by Via Mari. It is an erotic romantic suspense- full of emotion, highs and lows, mystery, action, danger, secrets, danger, passion, and more. I have been really enjoying this series, zipping my way through each book just because I need to know what’s going to happen. I had high expectations for this book and am happy to say that it was just as good as the first two, and definitely kept me hooked the whole way through. This book should be read as part of the series as there is a bridging story that continues from book to book, plus there are all the character introductions and other relevant information that you will need in order to really appreciate the story/series- so I strongly advise you to read the first two books before starting off on this one.
After the events in the previous book this one picks up with Kate deciding that Chase’s choices aren’t for her and has turned down his marriage proposal. But circumstances arise where she will need to play along and put up a front of being a happy couple. With their chemistry simmering just below the surface, it doesn’t take much for their passions to unleash. But with so much still up in the air, Katarina has some decisions to make……
Kate really frustrated me a lot through this story with all her trust issues, being hard to get along with, and generally being difficult and stubborn- placing herself and others in danger. I wanted to yell at her at times.
There is plenty of suspense and the tension was built to a very high level- which had me on the edge of my seat a lot of the time. There were a few unexpected developments and twists which kept thing quite interesting and had me clamouring to know how it all works out. Bring on the next book!

Thank you, Ms. Mari!

Five Stars

My Free Life: A Prequel to The Brothers of Camelot is the third book in the My Life series by Necie Navone. This series just gets better and better. I will caution you do need to read the whole series in order or you will miss major parts of the backstory and all of the books in this series are highly enjoyable and excellent reads. This book continues where the last book left off. Alessandra is twenty and away attending University, she is now the Capo Donna of the Family just as her father intended. Now that all of her friends are growing up and falling in love, will this by Aless’s chance to start over herself or is she to entrenched is the Family business to break free. This book like the rest of the series is full of action, excitement, suspense and danger that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat throughout the story. Necie Navone really brings her characters to life in the last book in this series and I look forward to reading more from here in The a Brothers of Camelot series. I have put Ms. Navone on my permanent TBR list. I highly recommend this book, series and author especially if you love Crime Family story’s mixed in with your romance.

A Must For Christmas is a Darling Cove novella written by Deborah Garland. We revisit Faith and Greg and the birth of their beautiful twin boys. Things don’t go according to plan and chaos erupts as panic sets in. It is a high energy, emotionally charged novella that will have you anxious and blissfully happy.

Deborah Garland captured the essence of romance with this tastefully turbulent tale. Faith and Greg were my favourite couple and it was such a pleasure to continue their journey and this author captured beauty. 5 stars.

Felicity Found (Rogue Book 6) by Lara Ward Cosio – Review by Tracy Wilkin

Felicity Found (Rogue Series Book 6)Felicity Found by Lara Ward Cosio
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Felicity Found is book six in the Rogue series by Lara Ward Cosio. It is a deeply emotional read for me as I relate to a lot of issues in this story. This author has touched on something that is still hidden and many sufferers continue to struggle alone, day after day. It impacted me greatly, especially due to the gentle, respectful way the story was written.

Felicity has a beautiful life and wants to do it all. Certain events in her life makes her want to conquer the world, but in reality, getting to do her hair is just too draining, both physically and emotionally. Conor tries to help but has his own worries and his idea of helping is the opposite of what they all need. It was a painfully touching story that deals with many modern life struggles. The execution of the story was seamless, real and truly beautiful.

Lara Ward Cosio is a talented author that is on another level. A writing style so very original and rare, in a way that it left me breathless and moved beyond measure. I could not near to put this story down and found the end too soon. I will never forget Felicity Found or the way it made me feel. Unforgettable. 5 stars.

Growing up in a three bed/one bath house with nine siblings in Buffalo, New York it was a just the facts, assembly-line type of childhood. However, one day during my tumultuous teen years in the late seventies that all changed when my exhausted mom uncharacteristically asked several probing questions about how I was doing, what I wanted of life and how I was going to get there . . . totally confounding me. She was supposed to dish out commands and make declarative statements—take out the trash, don’t come home unless you’re bleeding, every time you masturbate it’s a hundred-years in purgatory. She wasn’t supposed ask articulate, inward looking, questions about myself. Self-examination and contemplation, was light years beyond my transactional existence.

Eventually, though, due to a certain amount of aimlessness and failure I did come to consider my mom’s questions and many more which led me to writing. Presently, I am the author of two novels Written In The Stars: The Book Of Molly (2016) and my current book Leaving Jackson Wolf—which chronicles the coming of age story of Jackson Wolf and James McDougal—two fringe fifteen year old boys searching for their power in a complicated unforgiving world.

Presently I live in West Seneca, New York with my wife and three college age children. I have a State University of New York background in English and I love trade paperbacks, quiet black mornings and The Ramones.

Beats of the Heart (Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series Book #1) by Charli B. Rose – Review by Angela Hayes

Beats of the HeartBeats of the Heart by Charli B. Rose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Beats of the Heart is the first book in the Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series and is the wonderful debut novel by Charli B. Rose. The story is a steamy friends-to-lovers/Rockstar Romance with second chances, heartbreak, loss, friendship, stardom, heart-ache, emotion, drama, mystery, and more.
Dawson and Izzy are wonderfully crafted characters who really tugged at my heartstrings. I loved following their story- through all the highs and lows of their relationship. These childhood best friends turned sweethearts, then lovers, have had quite the journey. I am so torn by the story because I love it- but because of the way it ended, I really up in the air about a few things and I need the next book NOW, so it can hopefully give me the answers I need! I have been on an emotional rollercoaster ride with this book, but I know there is more to come. There are some big unanswered questions, and some mystery surrounding the way things left off – I can’t wait to see how it all plays out in the next book.
An incredibly good Debut novel!

Thank you, Ms. Rose!

This book from Fortuné is an emotional rollercoaster in the best possible way. It treats its characters and relationships in a very realistic way. Snatching Dianna (Feisty Lawyers #1) by Seelie Kay – Review by Emily Walsh

Snatching Dianna (Feisty Lawyers, #1)Snatching Dianna
BySeelie Kay
My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Snatching Dianna (Feisty Lawyers #1) by Seelie Kay was a fast pace, witty, entertaining read that, had me hooked from start to finish.

Not my first read by this author or for these MC’s. They appeared in Kinky Briefs, Cinque; and I’ve been waiting to read more about them. These two are started to become a fav of mine, and I need to go back a read more from this author. Not only that, there’s two other important characters that I need to go read about; the Chief of police and his wife. They’re something else, and I need to know their kinky story.

Fast moving and despite the dark and heart wrenching plot, I had fun reading this book. I will say this because it is a fast quick read there isn’t much overall world building and or heavy details. But, I didn’t mind that because of the race against time plot, the witty interactions, solid connections and having Dianna such a strong, defiant character; you’re not stuck on the what the surrounds looked like. You’re engroes into the story, you’re on the edge of your seat hoping that Janet and Cade can get to her in time, not just her but the others as well.

Overall this book is worth your time and energy. It has a pull to it that keeps you glued to the pages and the suspense is thick and heart pounding. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval that, you will have this book read in one sitting.

Happy Reading

A Second Chance (Powder River Pack Book 1) by Brooke May – Review by Bobbi Wagner

A Second Chance (The Powder River Pack #1)A Second Chance by Brooke May
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a paranormal-shifters story that I enjoyed from beginning to end. This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed how I was pulled into the story and felt that I was there with the characters. I liked Derek and Annabelle. They had great chemistry and I also I felt compassion for them. They are both angry people, not only angry with others that hurt them but with each other. This is their story and if they will get a second chance at a life together. I highly recommend reading it.

Snatching Dianna (Feisty Lawyers Book 1)
By: Seelie Kay
5 out of 5 stars

The story Snatching Dianna (Feisty Lawyers Book 1) by Seelie Kay is a book that I loved reading. There is both mystery and suspense. It had me wondering what was going to happen next. I was turning pages to find out. It is the story about a law student, Dianna Murphy, who fails to show to a planned event with her roommate. When Law Professor Janet MacLachlan, a former covert agent, is alerted she begins looking for clues as to if Dianna was taken. One clue sends her and others looking into a slave trafficking cartel. Will Dianna be found, or will she disappear without a trace? Read this book to find out. This is a story in which I felt like I was right there with the characters. Trying to put the clues together is like putting together a puzzle. I enjoyed reading the interactions between Janet, her husband Cade and the other additional characters. The characters work well together and are determined to find the truth of what has happened to Dianna. There are also some characters that have their own agenda and whose actions I would call evil. Don’t miss out reading a wonderful story that will hook you in and not let go until the last page.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed how it is a creative, easy flowing story that left me on the edge of my seat at times. This story is about a kidnapping on campus but there could be more going on. What happens when Janet and her husband Agent Cade turn up more then they were expecting during their investigation? I liked both of these two, they are connectable and I enjoyed their chemistry together made the story flow. I highly recommend reading their story.

Degrees of Control (A Prestian Series Book 3) by Via Mari

5 Stars

This is the 3rd part of this series and I loved it as much as the first. There was a lot going on and there were more than a few times I was like noooooo this can not happen, and there were more than a few times I wanted to smack Katarina upside her head..I couldn’t believe a couple things she did in this book, and if she had just listened half the time things would have gone much smoother. In saying that there were a few times I loved her taking control and then her poor security detail…LOL

Like I said there is a lot going on in this story but it all leads to one person and I’m hoping that book 4 will finally get this person figured out and out of the lives of Katarina and Chase and everyone else close to them. I can honestly say I’ve never seen people fly so much before in my life. Everytime I turned the page they were boarding this jet or this helicopter so I don’t have a book hangover, I have severe jet lag lol

I’m moving right on to book 4 as soon as I’m done writing this review. I love this series and I love this author, by now I’ve usually lost interest in a normal series but this one has me totally hooked and is as fresh as the beginning which just shows the talent this author has and her words flow so effortlessly.

I love it and can’t wait for more!

By: Charli B. Rose
5 out of 5 stars

The story Beats of the Heart (Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series Book 1) by Charlie B. Rose is a new adult romance book. I loved reading this story. It had me hooked from the very beginning. It is a book that had my emotions going up and down with the characters. I loved reading about Izzy and Dawson. These two have been best friends since they were young and have taken the step from friends to lovers. They believe that their hearts beat as one and that their souls fit together. She is his muse. The music flows because her. This book has some very steamy scenes. The chemistry between Izzy and Dawson is red hot and can make the temperature in the room rise. They imagine their future will be together. What will happen when dark clouds roll in and threaten this couple? Read this story to find out. I grew to love the characters of Izzy and Dawson with each chapter that I read. It was wonderful to read how devoted to each other they are. I like how Dawson took Izzy’s feelings into consideration when he made decisions. Being the girlfriend of a someone who is famous must be hard and Izzy does have times where she feels insecure and the doubts creep in. The way that Izzy and Dawson banter back and forth had me with a smile on my face. This book is definitely one I would recommend reading. It is part one of this couple’s story and I look forward to reading the next part.

A Second Chance (Powder River Pack Book 1)
By: Brooke May
5 out of 5 stars

The story A Second Chance (Powder River Pack Book 1) by Brooke May is a paranormal romance book. This is a genre that I have always loved reading and this story is a good example of why. The book hooked me in from the very beginning and I couldn’t put it down until I read the ending page. The story had my emotions going up and down and had me wanting the two main characters to get a second chance at love. I loved reading about Derek Sumerland and Annabelle Daniels. These two found love at an early age and then suddenly found themselves apart. Both brokenhearted they went on with their lives however each kept having thoughts of the other and no one else made them feel the same as when they were together. Now Annabelle has come back to Fetterman, Wyoming to assist her estranged father as he is gravely ill. These two still have an attraction and are affected when they see each other. What wasn’t there before is the anger/conflict that they feel. Will Derik and Annabelle get another chance at love? Annabelle has made a wonderful career for herself in the time that she has been gone. Will she be forced to make a choice between that career and love? What does the future hold for Derek and Annabelle? Does it include a happy ending? Read this book to find out. I enjoyed reading about the additional characters, about the part they play in the story and the way they interact with Derek and Annabelle. There are heartbreaking and heartwarming parts to this story. It shows the importance that family and friends play in life. This is an amazing story with wonderful characters. It is the first book in a series and I am looking forward to reading the next one.

Felicity Found (Rogue Series Book 6) by Lara Ward Cosio – Review Tracy Manderson

Felicity Found (Rogue Series Book 6)Felicity Found by Lara Ward Cosio
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Felicity Found (Rogue Series Book 6) by Lara Ward Cosio
5 out of 5 stars
Felicity Found is the sixth book in the Rogue Series written by Lara Ward Cosio is an amazing read and Ms. Cosio did an outstanding job portraying Felicity and the rest of the gang. The characters are well written everyday rock stars that have everyday worries like real everyday people. I loved their quirks and the way these characters lay off of each other.
Felicity has had great disappointments in life that have been overshadowed by even greater blessings this includes her husband, world-renowned rock guitar god, Conor Quinn, and their two beautiful babies. She knows she is a very fortunate person so, why does everything feel so off?
Conor think Felicity an amazing mother. Until he come’s home one night to find her in a rare state. She barely has her head above water but she still makes it all work, despite how she tears herself down over not being perfect. How his he going to fix her can he fix her?
I highly recommend this book/series and recommend reading the series in order sso you can follow along with the way Rogue was formed.

Beats of the Heart (lyrical odyssey Rock Star series book 1) by Charlie B Rose

Four Stars

I can’t believe how this book took a turn. The no contact the unknown and Izzy’s fear. I couldn’t believe how fast the author grabbed my attention with this story. When I usually read short stories it’s with the knowledge that it won’t pack as much punch as full length books. But I was proved wrong. You could feel Izzy’s feelings at the end coming off the page. I felt her tears and her sadness. I know there was some shady mess happening to Dawson. I don’t believe he threw away their relationship. I’m ready for the next I hate being left with unanswered questions when I read. But I will most definitely be coming back for more.

Dangerous Ground: Tina and Chase’s Story by Alice Rachel – Review by Michelle Austin

Dangerous Ground: Tina and Chase's StoryDangerous Ground: Tina and Chase’s Story by Alice Rachel
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Dangerous ground was a thrilling and emotional rollercoaster of a 5 star read. This is Tina and Chase’s story and I loved it. Once I started I didn’t want to stop.

When the sterilization law goes in effect things start to take a twist.
Chase and his family is what society deems as low class. There were some scenes that just broke my heart for Chase. Who are these people that think they can make these kind of choices for people no matter what class they are?

Tina witnesses some things that happen to Chase and is determined to make changes.
There is so much going on in this read, your head will be spinning. There is quite a bit of darkness also.

Alice Rachel does a great job with her writing you feel everything the characters do. My emotions were all over the place with the laws and regulations. I have to admit that some things were difficult for me to read because of some of the issues. Beware that there may be some scenes that can cause triggers for some. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. I had some I didn’t care for and others I loved. The ending has left me wanting more. You will be done before you know it. If you’re looking for a great series, I suggest 1-clicking and get reading.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Hope’s Decree by Angela McPherson a four-star read that will give you hope. This is the first novel in the Fated series and what a start to the series. Even though the story has its roots in Greek mythology it is still a compelling and easy to read. Trinity is someone you can get into and understand her struggle. This was a great story and the author has a great descriptive writing style and I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

Nathaniel Dragon Hearts Book One By Carole Mortimer

5-Stars

This was such a wonderful and steamy read. Chloe, on search for a story, discovers a hidden castle. She is asked to leave by handsome and mouth watering Nathaniel. After attempting to find out more about the castle she is caught again on the property but is taken to the dungeon after Deryk, Nathaniel’s brother, finds Nathaniel trying to let her leave again. He was angry when he let her go the first time so he was determined to keep her and question her. What Nathaniel didn’t expect was for her to end up being his mate. The two can’t stay away from each other but there is more to being a mate than they realize.
I could not put this book down. I can’t wait to read the next in the series. I absolutely loved the characters, romance, and the different scenery. Chloe had a spitfire attitude that goes perfect with red heads. Nathaniel was very chivalrous and kind. I definitely recommend this novel!

Snatching Dianna (Feisty Lawyers Book 1) by Seelie Kay – Review by Heather Bahm

Snatching Dianna (Feisty Lawyers, #1)Snatching Dianna by Seelie Kay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Seelie Kay’s Snatching Dianna is the first book in the Feisty Lawyers series. This was a thrilling and suspenseful read. Seelie Kay doesn’t wait to pull the reader into the story, but instantly starts with the right lead ins to draw attention to not only the characters, but also the environment. As I was reading this story, from the details provided, I could vividly picture the scenes – it was amazingly done. Each of the characters in this story were well described and portrayed, despite the limited pages within this book. The story was fast paced, but not rushed. I felt that this was a great introduction into the Feisty Lawyers series and after the sequence of events that occurred in in Snatching Dianna, I cannot wait to see what the author delivers next.

Mouse Trapped: Satan's Devils MC #9Mouse Trapped: Satan’s Devils MC #9 by Manda Mellett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Mouse Trapped
By Manda Mellett

Mouse Trapped is the ninth book in Satan’s Devils MC Series by Manda Mellett, and the third book I have read in this series. While it is not my favourite of the three, the book is still very well written. Even though this book is ninth in this series it can certainly be read as a standalone. If you are expecting the usual love story forget that. Mouse by no means is a mouse, but he is one very hot Native American who is also the club’s computer guy. I did enjoy getting to know Mouse he has a multitude of sides that will have you loving this guy. We get to meet Mariana, I felt that both Mouse and Mariana had such strong characters, which made reading their story more enjoyable. Thank you, Manda, for another good read.
