This story is some woman’s dream come true. Though I like the thought I don’t think I could handle three men. I have to say Gabriel was my favorite amongst the men. He had the most restraint and loyalty. Though his loyalty was there by force he did what he was told. I liked that he didn’t let his needs out way their safety. He had great control even when her heat was at its worse. I liked that Liam and Mason knew what they wanted and wasn’t afraid to go after it. They protected Havana and cared for her every need. Now if I could only find a man to do that for me ? I really liked this authors writing style. It was very smooth and effortless. I enjoyed every moment in this story even the cliché zombie part. I am very interested in knowing how they deal with the consequences of their actions.

Caught in Make-Believe (The Caught Series Book 3) by Sharleen Scott – Review by Erica Fish

Caught in Make-Believe (The Caught Series Book 3)Caught in Make-Believe by Sharleen Scott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Caught in Make-Believe is the third book in the Caught Series by Sharleen Scott. Even though this is the third book you can read it as a stand-alone. There will be character references that you may want to go and read the other two books, having said that it should not distract from the story. This story is a romance mystery, thriller, about having a second chance, and a new meaning to the same story. I found myself reading quickly through one part to get to the next scene, only to find out to go back and reread some part because there was a twist when I thought it was going to be a turn. This story is about Samantha who is the manager of Sweet Stuff bakery. She is a wonderful character that I would consider a great friend. At times she is that person who is optimistic all the time. She is fighting a bad break up of a engagement with a cheating fiancé. She finds herself getting close to Jace who was a reporter who has been away for five years. He is ready to put his skeletons away and try this thing called life. You will have to read what has happened with Jace and Samantha’s story. It is an intriguing read all the way around.

Claiming Her Mates: Book One: (A paranormal shifter romance series)
By: Dia Cole
5 out of 5 stars

The story Claiming Her Mates: Book One: (A paranormal shifter romance series) by Dia Cole is a paranormal romance book. It is a story in a genre that I have always loved reading. It drew me in from the very beginning and had me turning pages to find out what happens next. I loved reading about the main character of Havana and the three Lykos shifters that have sworn to protect her. Havana believes that the men that have shown up and tell her she is to come with them are police, so she tries to run. What she soon finds out is that chaos has begun because of a flu vaccine that has been given out and turning people into monsters. The three rescue her and she finds herself under their protection. Her ex has issued a threat of what will happen if anyone touches her. Havana and her three protectors are very attracted to each other. Their desire for each other shows through and is at times overwhelming. Why does Havana feel such strong emotions towards the three men she has just met? Will the threat that Havana’s ex has given strong enough to override the desire that Mason, Gabriel, and Liam have for her? What does the future hold for Havana and her protectors? Read this story to find out. This story is red hot and makes the temperature in the room rise. You can feel the conflict that Mason, Gabriel, and Liam have as their feelings for Havana keep getting stronger and harder to ignore. I enjoyed reading about the different characters and the background information given on them. As this is book one in a series it lays a good foundation for further stories that come after it. This is a wonderful book and has amazing characters. It is one I would highly recommend reading.

This was the continued story of Wren and I loved it as much as the first part of this series. She just can’t win when it comes to staying out of the line of fire with being framed for murder and getting out of that to now suspecting the king of being behind guild members being kidnapped and now the enemy has entered the city.

There was some parts of this story that made me so angry and then parts that were so so sad. You don’t really ever know what your gonna get when you open up one of this authors books and I love that.

Can’t wait for the next story in this series, I have so many questions about Hale and what his future holds as well as Wren and the Guild itself.

I Love this series and I love this author and I highly recommend starting at the beginning and reading these books and let me also mention that the covers on these books are completely awesome!!

Loved it!

Burning Night: where the ashes of the past awaken the future by Nikki Broadwell ~ Review by Liz Vrchota

Burning Night: where the ashes of the past awaken the futureBurning Night: where the ashes of the past awaken the future by Nikki Broadwell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have read some of Nikki Broadwell’s work before but this was a totally different type of novel than I had expected to find from her. This was much more of an all the feels type novel. I found myself really feeling the gambit of emotions as Collie, our MC, felt them. I wanted to cry a lot more than I had expected, and I had a lot of moments where I just had to stop and process the feelings I was having before I could go on with the book.

This is a very detailed and multi-layered novel. It is extremely hard to review the book without giving away too much of the details that will spoil the goodies for you and not sound repetitive of the synopsis. For the best parts I will say you are going to have to take my word for it, you must read this book. You won’t be disappointed that you did. The journey that Collie takes to find herself is one that you don’t want to miss out on. I know I learned a thing or two from her myself.

Shoot Me: A Lie To Me Novel #2 by Lynda Filler ~ Review by Liz Vrchota

Shoot Me (Lie to Me #2)Shoot Me by Lynda Filler
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I WANT TO GO TO MEXICO! It is literally freezing and we had a blizzard warning last weekend with a watch for one this weekend. I have been fighting a nasty pneumonia for a month and been in and out of the hospital and surgery, but this wonderful adventure in Shoot Me took me far far away from it all on a hot and steamy trip down south. If you haven’t had the chance to read Lie to Me I would highly recommend it, this book is a direct continuation of that one. In fact it literally picks up where that one left off ‘three weeks and eighteen hours’ from the first book. You will be a bit confused as to why our MC, Layla, is where she is and why.

Layla is just a tad still reeling from the way that Mateo left her hanging with that simple note and his disappearing act. Her writing career has taken of and she is signed for a new deal so between her bummed heart and her need for some writing material she does the only thing she can think of. She sets out to drown out his memory and make some new ones. Why not? Everyone knows the best way to get over one mistake is to make a few one night mistakes right? Well this is where the hot (and I do mean hot!) and exciting writing from Lynda Filler really gets going! We meet some great new men and Layla finds herself in some pretty interesting situations. I found myself laughing, fanning myself, and often just hanging my mouth open wondering what would come next. Filler never ceases to keep me hooked from page one till the end, and reeling for the next book to come out as soon as possible. (Hint. Hint. I NEED it soon Ms. Filler LOL) I can’t bear to give much more away. For more juicy details you will just have to one click the book. I promise you won’t be disappointed. I may just have to go back and read the first book while I wait for the next in the series! Happy reading!

Must Be Crazy (Darling Cove Book 3) by Deborah Garland ~ Review by Liz Vrchota

Must Be CrazyMust Be Crazy by Deborah Garland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Must Be Crazy is the third book in the Darling Cove series from Deborah Garland. I personally would recommend that you read the first two books before you read this one, they do go in a pretty decent order and the characters are involved in each book somewhat. This one focuses on Skye Mallory. Her connection is that she is Gwen and Greg’s sister who have books one and two which would be the benefit to reading them.

Skye is single yet successful. As an attorney she rocks it and runs her very own office. Unfortunately when it comes to love she has not had the best of luck, especially with her last relationship that ended in a brutal way. However, both of her siblings have found the loves of their lives and she knows it is a matter of time before those around her start nagging her to find her own happily ever after. She is doubtful that she will ever change her mind though, especially with the secret she is harboring. All that is about to be put into question when her office and apartment catch fire and a hunky fireman extinguishes the fire, and lights the spark insider her again.

Edward Mendelsohn is that firefighter. He has his own demons and secrets he will need to get around but the beautiful Skye is something he wants to try to get over all that for. He is that single father of an adorable seven year old kiddo, Julian, and still recovering from a tough spilt from his mother. Just when he thinks he is finally at a point where he can move on with Skye and these two hit it off the past comes back to meddle in their newfound romance. Then there is a matter of secrets that come out to play. What will happen to the new love? Is it going to be extinguished before it ever gets a chance to become a full-fledged fire?

Caught in Make-Believe (The Caught Series Book 3)Caught in Make-Believe by Sharleen Scott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Caught in Make-Believe is Book 3 in the Caught Series from author Sharleen Scott. This author has given me a brilliant introduction into her writing style and characters she creates, and I will definitely be looking out for more of her reads.

This is my first read from this author, which also makes this my first read in this series, I recommend that books 1 & 2 should be read before this one, just so that you avoid the confusion that got when I first started reading this book. After a while I got into the flow of it and then eventually I couldn’t put the read down. This was a brilliant romantic suspense read, that had twists and turns throughout, that had me on the edge of my seat. Jace and Samantha have a great chemistry that I enjoyed reading and following their journey. This book also has me expecting certain things and then the author completely change the course of the book, which kept me on the edge of my seat even more.

I loved that this book was written in various POV’s it gave us more insight into our characters – what they were really thinking and feeling and gave greater depth and realness to Jace & Samantha.

This was a brilliant read with amazing characters – I highly recommend you read book 1 & 2 but this read is not to be missed!

Caught in Make-Believe (The Caught Series Book 3)Caught in Make-Believe by Sharleen Scott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Caught in Make Believe by Sharleen Scott a four-star read that you need to catch. This is the third novel in the Caught series and it could be read as stand-alone, but you always get the most out of a novel by reading the series. This has it all mystery and drama, second chances and twists, you will be kept guessing and wondering what happened and will you figure the clues out and work what’s really going on? I like Jace in his gentlemanly ways, but you can’t escape your past. Samantha was a good character but there was something about her that took some warming up to, overall a great story.

Killmore (Killmore #1) by Martha Sweeney

5 out of 5 stars

This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Sweeney. I didn’t know if I hated this book or loved it but I just couldn’t put it down. This story is suspenseful, action packed, with pull your hair out emotionally, intense ride and this is the story for you.

I loved Laurie she was such an amazing character with everything she has been through she doesn’t trust easily and she looks over her shoulder all the time.
She knows not to look to anyone else to keep her safe she can only depend on herself. The last thing she needs a man especially a Fed. But is he the one she has to watch out for or is her past coming back to haunt her.

The characters in this book are well developed and I loved the banter with the Snarky comments that were thrown at each other they made me laugh because the comments were out of this world. I loved the way they always kept each other wanting although never giving too much away.

Can the Feds keep Laurie safe? Will Laurie be able to trust men again? Will Laurie have a happily ever after?

Like I said earlier I didn’t know if I loved this book or hated it but this was a funny action pack romance with a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to see what Ms. Sweeney has instore for us in book two of this series.

Shoot Me by Lynda Filler a four-star read that you will want to aim for. This is the second read in the Lie to Me series and you would benefit from reading the in order. The pace is fast, the drama is deep, and the story is good, Layla is a great character and one you will love watching as she grows before your eyes. The men will melt your eyes as well as other body parts, but it’s not all hot boys and sunshine, there is a depth and compassion to the story that will make you turn the page and suck you in.

DANGEROUS GROUND: Tina and Chase’s Story (Under Ground Book 5) by Alice Rachel ~ Review by Liz Vrchota

Dangerous Ground: Tina and Chase's StoryDangerous Ground: Tina and Chase’s Story by Alice Rachel
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I know that the author clearly states in the blurb to not read this book as a standalone, but I know that some people don’t read those warnings seriously sometimes. So with the risk of sounding like a broken record, DO NOT READ THIS BOOK WITHOUT READING THE OTHER BOOKS IN THE SERIES IN THE RECCOMENDED READING ORDER! I can 100% promise you that you will be lost as all get out, and this is not one you want to miss. If you like the Handmaids Tale, dystopian novels, or movies that are scarily close to the reality that we are currently living in, this is the series for you to pick up now. Go one-click right now the whole thing because I can promise you that once you start you won’t be able to stop and will want to devour this entire series as fast as you can.

Alice Rachel really has the gift when it comes to writing with feeling. I always find myself thinking, often aloud, and feeling the characters feelings as if they were my own. Unfortunately, this series happens to touch very close to home. Underground is set in a society that is one we just don’t want to see for ourselves. Separated races, social classes, genders, and so much more. Laws and regulations that affect our bodies as women etc. Sounds a bit close to home doesn’t it though? Kind of like the current political atmosphere we are living in. Really makes you think. Dangerous Ground is the story of Tina and Chase and the way they deal with the difficulties they face every day. I am always more blown away with each book than I was with the last, a hard task to accomplish so I can’t wait to get my hands on the next in the series! Thanks for another great read Alice Rachel!

My Free Life: Prequel to The Brothers of Camelot (My Life Series Book 3)My Free Life: Prequel to The Brothers of Camelot by Necie Navone
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the final book in the prequel series to the Brothers Camelot series by Necie Navone. I would HIGHLY recommend that you read these three books in order. You will be so lost if you don’t. I have a hard time with keeping up with things from time to time in this story line so I can’t imagine if you haven’t read the previous novels. I also might add that Necie is a very gifted storyteller. She has weaved a wonderful mobster boss story told from a woman’s point of view and done it flawlessly.

In My Free Life we find Aless grown up, well past her numbered age of 20. She has taken on the role of Capo Donna and is doing the best she can with the circumstances life has thrown at her. She is watching those she loves and holds dear enjoy a life full of happiness and freedom to live normally. She craves this so much for herself. She made the promise to one day be free and enjoy those happiness’s to her mother before she died and she is determined to make that happen. Can she really escape the role life destined her to fulfill though?

This book is fast paced, full of feeling and emotion, and really has a bit of everything in it. I am sad to see the My Life series come to an end but I am also looking forward to diving into the Brothers Camelot now and seeing the stories of the men in the family. I am off to pick up book one right now, The Only One. Thanks for a great prequel series Ms. Navone!

Embattled Hearts (Military Romantic Suspense) (Lost and Found Book 1) by J.M. Madden – Review by Liz Vrchota

Embattled Hearts (Lost and Found, #1)Embattled Hearts by J.M. Madden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have to say right off the bat that I am a bit of a skeptic about most military romances. I am a NAVY brat, and I was raised in a family with generations of family members that served our country or are currently serving. I have firsthand experienced what it feels like to have family in the thick of danger and not knowing if they will come home in one piece, or in a pine box. It’s terrifying and honestly the people we love never come back the same even if they are physically unharmed. A lot of novels can be a bit exaggerated and have that happy ending that is just, in my opinion, not realistic at all therefore I can’t enjoy the novel. This was the complete opposite situation with Embattled Heart! I adored this novel. It was real, honest, and raw. I connected with these characters so much so that I found it so hard to pull myself away from them even after I had finished the book.

I wish that I had read the prequel to this book, The Embattled Road. It didn’t kill me that I hadn’t but I will for sure go back and do so now. It would appear that this is where we get to meet the men that will be present in the forthcoming books in the Lost and Found series. Embattled Heart is the story of John and Shannon though, and it looks like going forward we should get the stories of Duncan and Chad. (I can’t wait!!)

I’m not spoiling a thing for you so a quick ditty is all you get! John Palmer, the swoony man he is, was injured in the war in Iraq. Now he is left in a wheelchair and damaged on the inside just as much. Shannon just might be the one to fix all the broken pieces if he can learn to accept her love. There is an underlying piece of suspense to the story, not as prevalent or important to me as the deeper emotional story, however it was a nice way to balance the emotional parts of the book. As for the rest of the details you will have to grab a copy of the book for yourself and devour it. I am going to buy a few extra and gift a few! Thanks so much for the great read JM Madden! I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book Embattled Minds!

A Must For Christmas: A Darling Cove Novella (Darling Cove Series) by Deborah Garland- Review by Angela Hayes.

A Must for Christmas: A Darling Cove NovellaA Must for Christmas: A Darling Cove Novella by Deborah Garland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Must For Christmas is a Darling Cove Novella by Deborah Garland. I really love Faith and Greg who had their story in ‘Must Have Faith’- and I was excited to see this book has more of their story for us to enjoy. This story picks up where ‘Must Be Crazy’ left off and pretty much throws us right into the action. The story had me on the edge of my seat, with my heart in my mouth for most of the way through. I cried, I stressed, and then I cried some more. The story was tense, emotional, and dramatic….. And I loved it. There is so much story crammed into a short amount of space, but in a really good way. It never felt rushed or like there was anything ‘missing’- because Ms. Garland brought her “A” Game here. Yes, the story is nerve-wracking- but it’s also full of loyalty, commitment, bonds, hope, faith, love, wonderful family dynamics- and with a special Christmas miracle that made this book quite endearing!
I love that all the characters who we’ve come to adore from this series, all make appearances in this story too, getting to ‘catch up with them all as well. They are such a close-knit, loving, and supportive group/family- it’s so wonderful to see.
The story is really well written, but I wouldn’t expect anything less from Ms. Garland. It’s emotional, tender, and so touching in parts- which helped to ease some of the nerve-wracking elements.
I can’t wait for more from Darling Cove- I hope Lily will get her own story now too!

Thank you, Ms. Garland!

Healing Danger (Fortis Security Series Book #1) by Maddie Wade – Review by Angela Hayes.

Healing Danger (Fortis Security #1)Healing Danger by Maddie Wade
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Healing Danger is the first book in the Fortis Security Series by Maddie Wade. It is full of action, adventure, thrills, intrigue, drama, suspense, mystery, sizzle, romance, and danger. As this series is well and truly established, it was great to go back and to where it all ‘began’. I have enjoyed this series immensely and can always count on Ms. Wade to deliver ‘the goods’ and keep me entertained right through till the end. It was interesting to look back and see how the series/story, and even Ms. Wade’s style, has evolved along the way.
Lauren and Dane are really great characters and it was easy to get invested in them and the outcome of their story. They are fully developed individuals, with complex personalities and circumstances. Dane is the Team Leader of Fortis who will do everything in his power to protect Lauren from the evil that hunts her.
The author held the tension, suspense and intrigue at an extremely high level throughout the book- as well as keeping me guessing most of the way through- she added twists and surprising development that I didn’t see coming, which ramped the excitement up a few notches.
So, if you haven’t read the Fortis security series yet, what are you waiting for? It’s well worth the read!

Thank you, Ms. Wade!

I would suggest reading the whole series in order as most characters are introduced in previous books. Mouse is a character that intrigued me from his first appearance, he’s quiet and mysterious with computer skills like no other. His story is detailed, dramatic and action packed, it had me sitting on the edge of my seat the whole way through. And I’m beyond happy with the ending!

Hope's Decree (The Fated #1)Hope’s Decree by Angela McPherson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A great read about change. Trinity lives her life as a normal teenager at high school. When Blain Heros arrives in town, her whole world is turned upside down with nightmares and strange events as she is pulled into a destiny she never knew existed. As she stumbles into this new world, can she keep her normal life?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Blain doing his duty despite his feelings or Trinity standing up for herself but also admitting she needs help. Great cast of supporting characters like the supportive Keri or rebellious Candy or the sweet Trevor.
I loved the mix of realism of high school life and bullies but also fantasy with magic and empaths I also adored the use of Greek mythology with the names and history and the stars which was a lovely touch to the story
I also loved the visual detail throughout the novel like with the natural imagery of the stars and the clear skies as untouched natural beauty to be adored.
The only issue I would raise was that the author used the contraction y’all a lot which felt jarring to the narrative. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

Mouse Trapped by Manda Mellett – Review by Erin Wolf

Mouse Trapped: Satan's Devils MC #9Mouse Trapped: Satan’s Devils MC #9 by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I give Mouse Trapped (Satan’s Devils MC #9) by Manda Mellett, 5 stars.

Mouse is part of the Satan’s Devils MC. The white half of him enjoys the computer work he does for his brothers. However, the Native American side of him needs to feel the freedom of being in the wild on a horse. It is one of these times in the wild when he hears someone screaming in terror. He comes across a woman being confronted by a bear. He helps her, then offers to bring her back to her car. It’s obvious she has never been on a horse or a motorcycle. There is something about her that makes him want to get to know her better. Well besides how sexy she is. But it is very obvious that she is hiding something.

Mariana is technically an illegal immigrant. But she arrived in the States when she was only 4 years old and her brother was born here. She has to keep her head down and not trust anyone, not only for herself, but for her brother’s sake. Then Mouse comes along. When events not under her control happen, she is put in the spotlight of the immigration authorities who want nothing more than to get rid of another illegal. The only person she know is Mouse. Will he help? Can he? What will end up happening?

There is a lot going on in this book. I have not read this series or this author before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It definitely covers some very topical issues right now and you see them from a way you not have necessarily looked at before. But besides that there is the relationship between Mariana and Mouse. This book is part of a series about a motorcycle club. The MC romance genre is not something I read too much of. Therefore, I did not quite understand some of the terms and such associated with these book. But the fact that I was pulled into the book having not started the series from the beginning and that this is not necessarily my genre of choice says just how good this book is. I could not put it down. All of the characters were so interesting and I cannot wait to go back and learn more about them in previous books. The story itself is original and grabbed me right away. I can’t say I relate to issues either one is having, but the the author makes me feel it and I can understand it. Not to mention that she just keeps hitting you with surprise after surprise. Just when you think the action is over – BAM! – something else happens.

This is a book full of action and just what you will do for those you care for. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

Mouse Trapped: Satan’s Devils MC #9 by Manda Mellett. This is the ninth book in the Satan’s Devils MC Series. I have read every single previous book and I have loved every one of them! You should definitely start at the beginning and read on through! If you love sexy, alpha men then is is definitely a book and series for you!!!
Mouse or Tse, was always the quiet brother in the background. He is computer guru of the MC. Mariana is just living her life, trying to stay under the radar. When something happens and she needs Mouse, he knows that he will do anything and everything in his power to help her, even if it means leaving his MC.
I have loved every single book in the series and I can not wait for more!!!!!!

Caught in Make-Believe (The Caught Series Book 3)
By Sharleen Scott
Rated 3 stars

The beginning seemed slow to me. There was a lot of setting the scene and meeting new (to me) people. I started a list to keep them straight then realized that a few were related. This is the third series in a book and I have not read the first two. That might have helped a bit in the confusion area.

Once the two main characters becomes tangled up with each other the story picked up a bit. This is a romantic suspense and I wasn’t sure where the suspense was until about half way through. Then it seemed mostly suspense and not much romance. I am not sure what it is about this story but I can’t seem to connect with the characters. I don’t care about them so this fell flat for me.

As mentioned this is the third in the series and maybe if I had read the first two I might be better off. Maybe I would be able to connect better. I did like the advice that Jace gave Samantha on writing.

Killmore by Martha Sweeney is part one of a two part series. All I can say is wow. How she dealt with what she did for as long as she did was amazing, the it all hits the fan. Fast forward in time to her life now, Laurie has moved on and enjoying life with her dogs Cain and Mabel (loved their names). But is the past really ever truly dead and gone?

I have a friend at work that I will talk books with from time to time. She is quite picky over the years I have learned what she likes. I recommended this book to her before I was half way through it and I can’t wait to see what she thinks of it.

There are things I want to mention but they could be considered spoilers so I won’t mention them. I will say that I cannot wait to get started on the next book.

The Changeup (A Resort Romance Novel Book 6) by Mary Billiter – Review by Robin Rankin

The Changeup (Resort Romance #6)The Changeup by Mary Billiter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Changeup by Mary Billiter is the sixth book in the Resort Romance Novel series and I really liked this book. I loved Rebel and her co-workers at The Point. I would have loved to see them a little more involved at certain parts of the story.

Ryan was a great guy, but a little too good of a guy for me. But I guess since he is studying to be a sheriff’s deputy he has to be good.

Ms. Billiter’s stories have more than just the romance aspect, there always a much deeper story involved and I really do enjoy that. Hope to see more books in this series!

Felicity Found (Rogue Series Book 6) by Lara Ward Cosio – Review by Robin Rankin

Felicity Found (Rogue Series Book 6)Felicity Found by Lara Ward Cosio
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Felicity Found by Lara Ward Cosio is the sixth book in the Rogue series. I can’t believe we are already at book six in this series. I still remember deciding to read the first while on vacation and falling in love with the band. Now here we are, a few years later. There have been marriages, a divorce, babies and sorts of interesting moments. All of which have made me fall on love with them all just a little more.

Felicity and Conor are now the parents of not one but two infants and how Felicity has been able to keep it together this long amazed me. Thankfully she has the love and support of an amazing husband to find her someone to talk to. I only had one baby and how stressed I was with caring for her.

I know all good things must come to an end, but I’m not ready to let go of this group and it appears they aren’t done either.

In the end, light may not be enough to outshine the darkness.

After Melia’s near-fatal attack, the connection binding Trinity and Blain shifts, allowing a dark force to wedge them apart. Her only hope for the life she craves is stopping Melia and her gang of Rogues.

Too bad life never plays fair. As Trinity’s eighteenth birthday draws near, new abilities manifest. More problems occur when objects around her spontaneously erupt in flames. While Trinity tries to manage her new powers, Blain works with Watchers to root out Melia’s hiding place. Unfortunately, Trinity’s uncontrolled talent evokes suspicion, causing old friends to challenge her ability to fulfill her destiny.

Havoc between the immortals ensues, leaving mortals unprotected as a new threat surfaces. Melia found a way to awaken an ancient god, whose wrath–if released–is sure to create more devastation than Pandora ever dreamed of. But fate always has an ulterior plan.

Must Be Crazy (Darling Cove Series) by Deborah Garland – Review by Sunday Barnaby

Must Be CrazyMust Be Crazy by Deborah Garland
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Must Be Crazy by Deborah Garland
Four Stars

Must Be Crazy is the third book in the Darling Cove series by Deborah Garland. This book can be read as a stand alone, but I would highly recommend you read the whole series because they are all really good reads. This book had my emotions all over the place, laughing one minute and crying the next, that to me is what makes a good book great, having real reactions to the story. This book had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down till I read the last.
Skye is going through a rough patch and hold onto a big secret, so when her apartment burns down and Edward comes barreling into her life, things are starting to get a little brighter. Edward is a single parent and really interested in Skye, but will she open up and trust him with her secret?
If you like a great romance, I highly recommend this book, series and author. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series.

Killmore by Martha Sweeney – Review by Julie Lounello

Killmore (Killmore #1)Killmore by Martha Sweeney
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Killmore by Martha Sweeney is a five star novel. I love how we are thrown into the story right from the get go. Some stories take a while to get the story across but this one starts of right from the start with action packed adventure. Lori got into the thick of things with a Mexican crime lord. When the feds get to her and want her to help them, she agrees because she knows she can’t be a part of this life anymore. Without any trust in her new witness protection, she has to stay on full alert and keep on training so she can be as strong as she needs to be in order to keep herself safe. Just because they are the feds, doesn’t mean they will be able to always be there to keep her safe. I cannot wait to read book #2!
