I’m thrilled that my first experience with this author was such a pleasant surprise! This marks the beginning of The Hell Gate Chronicles, featuring Meg as our formidable protagonist with an unbeatable spirit. I instantly connected with her unique, unconventional nature. As a fan of the supernatural, I found the blend of intense action and captivating elements in this story completely addictive!
One aspect that really stood out to me was Meg’s age—she’s over 40, which is a refreshing change in a genre often dominated by younger characters. The narrative flows seamlessly, with events unfolding naturally. Character development is a highlight, adding depth to the plot and making it easy to invest in each character. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next installment!
This is such a fun book!! First off, the illustrations in this book practically jump off the page!! They are very brilliant and vivid, very eye-catching and colorful. Next, I love the play on words for this character from the author’s last name!
Gadrella is a witch but she’s tired of the same old look. She doesn’t want a pointy hat or a black cat or all the typical things that a witch is “supposed to have”. She starts to make some changes and at the next meeting, her friends think she is a monster…that is until they try her new potion!
Kids will love this holiday themed book! It’s a great way to talk about differences and how it’s ok to break the mold sometimes.

Mistaken Identity is the first book in the duo. I did something I didn’t think was possible, I read this book in one day, but once I got started reading I had a very hard time putting it down.
One minute Evelyn is running through the airport with her biggest concern being making her connecting flight out of London. Running into a total stranger changes everything and thankfully it’s not all negative.
Evelyn and Patrick are like oil and water. Then they were so much more. Throw in running from dangerous people only adds to the danger and intrigue of their situation.
Be My Little Baby is the second. James and Tessa have quite the interesting relationship. She starts as a client with a stalker and then it ends up so much more. Throw in some longtime friends on both sides and it ends up being entertaining.
I love trying to figure out who the villain of the story is since most have at least one. I went between two most of the way through, then it clicked with me just before we found out. Love that it kept my brain working and it wasn’t as obvious to me, but I’m sure others will figure it out sooner.

What a nice story about being kind! I like how they are excited to be kind. It’s supposed to be for 7-9 year old but my 6 year old granddaughter enjoyed it and I’m sure it would be good for even a preschool child. I liked the activity prompts at the end. Easy to do in a classroom or at home. I definitely recommend this book to read to your child.

I loved this second book of the series just as much as the first if not more! This wonderful author always creates such heartfelt relatable characters and fun storylines that I just can’t resist them. Charlie and Joy with their enemies to lovers storyline had me laughing as much as it did excitingly turning page after page to see what would happening next. I can’t wait for more fun in Fall River.

The Fixer (Fall River Series) by G. K. Brady. I’m loving this series and ready to move to Fall River. In this story we get to know Joy who left Fall River a long time ago and moved to the city to become something and she has succeeded. When her mom leaves her a historical run down building she has no choice but to go back. She is back in town for one reason only, demolish this old building and go back to the city. She asks around for the best person for the job and everyone recommends Charlie. Charlie is amazing at his craft but he restores old buildings and brings them back to life, he doesn’t destroy them. He’s mad at the fact someone wants to do that. Charlie & Joy begin by butting heads and it doesn’t get better anytime soon. Charlie informs Joy that she can’t destroy it because it is a historical property and to sell it she will have to restore it. Joy finally allows Charlie to restore it but that leaves her in town a lot longer than she planned. While there she spends more and more time with Charlie and while they do butt heads there is a attraction bubbling up as well. Such a fun small town romance!

What a fantastic start to what I know will be a great series! This very talented author has created a fantastic storyline and setting so that the readers are fully emersed and invested right from the very start. I know fell completely in love with all the wonderful characters not just the lead characters and I can’t wait to read more about them all. Noah and Hailey were so relatable and heart felt I was hoping for a happy ending right from the very first chapter. I’m off to read book 2 right now…I need more of Fall River.

Reunion (The Hellgate Chronicles) by Jocelyn Lindsay. This book was amazing. I’m not a huge fan of supernatural but I fell in love with the book the first chapter. The main character Meg who has been out of school for 20+ years and helped close the Hellgate back then is back in action. Finding out from a friend who has been comatose for 20 years that someone new is trying to reopen the Hellgate, Meg knows she has to try and stop it again. She’s older and wiser so it should be easier right? Along with her friends, Meg may be witty and rough but she is smart and if she did it once when she was young and not that smart surely she can do it this time. Meg thought when she left home all those years ago that she wouldn’t have to go back but here she is and all the baggage along with home is here as well. Will Meg be able to stop the bad guys once again and will she be able to deal with all the unresolved issues that lead to her leaving town in the first place? Read this great book to find out!
I have enjoyed reading this author’s books from the first one I picked up. This is one of my favorites yet. I enjoy this author’s creative writing style that makes the characters come to life. They are written with a lot of heart and are steamy as well. This is a well written story about Cody and Cat. He is a cop that has signed himself off of love and she is looking to find herself a cowboy. What she didn’t expect was to find Cody. I enjoyed them and what they brought to the story. Their journey and growth throughout the story made it easy and entertaining to read. I enjoyed their connection and hoped they found their HEA at the end. Their story is a fast paced, hard to put down story. An engaging story that you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book and I look forward to seeing what is next for this author.

It’s the story of Kylian a star football player at a University in Chicago and he has his plate full. Kylian’s mom is sick with cancer and the treatments are super expensive but he is determined to get her the best treatments out there. He is also wanting to go Pro but he doesn’t want to do it the way all the Coaches want him to. When he borrows money from his Dad to pay for those treatments he is indebted to his Dad which he hates. Gia is on the run from an abusive boyfriend and she ends up hiding out on a sailboat. Little does she know that sailboat belongs to Kylian and he finds her. Kylian realizes that he can help Gia out and make the deal he had with his mom, which was to find a girl to take care of him after she passes. What he didn’t realize was that Gia comes with a load of drama in her ex boyfriend. Will they be able to make a relationship work with all the outside forces coming their way? Midnight Deception: Later-in-Life Romantic Suspense (Lone Wolf Heroes Series) by India Kells. This is a great romantic suspense. It’s the story of Sabrina who is a secretary to Brent by day and works at a nightclub by night. Brent is a hardcore boss who is a millionaire but he is a Cold hearted man. Sabrina tries hard to keep her day and night jobs separate along with taking care of her son and her mom. When her son gets into debt with some really bad guys then the chance of keeping her two lives separate is going to be near impossible. The bad guys end up coming after her and her family and Brent ends up being weirdly protective. Seeing him want to keep her safe pulls at Sabrina’s heartstrings and she begins to wonder about their relationship. Will Brent be able to keep her and her family safe? Will Sabrina and Brent finally realize they have feelings for one another. Such a fun romantic suspense.
After reading the first book in this series, I couldn’t wait to get straight into this book. This is a great addition to the series, and the right book to carry on from book 1. I loved getting to know Charlie and Joy’s characters. They had such opposing views on the building and yet they were clearly both drawn to each other. As with the first book, this one is well written and interesting to read. I was pulled into the story and enjoyed it from start to finish. I always enjoy this authors writing style and I am looking forward to what else this series has to offer.

Having read other books by this author, I was excited to see a new series. This is the start of a great romantic series, focused on two people who really shouldn’t have a connection with each other and yet it is there and undeniable either way. Their chemistry, and the push and pull between them was interesting to read about I thought the overall story was thoroughly enjoyable. I liked how it set the scene for what felt like not just the book for the series to come. I was invested in the story the author was telling and wanted to know more about the characters. For me, this is a strong start to a new series.

Cam Creates a Hero (Courage Tales Series) by Dagmara Sitek. This book is a little heavier than most for kids but its about a very real subject. Its about Cam who after hearing a news story about a 8 year old girl getting hurt by her step mom and ending up in the hospital, Cam wants to try to help her and others like her. He decides he’s going to build a robot to help protect kids but the outcome is not what he imagined. He goes to sleep defeated but has a dream the robot is real and is very helpful. The robot tells Cam to keep drawing and those drawings will help. So he does and he comes up with a book about helping kids! This is a very neat book that is unfortunately needed in this day and age. This is a wonderful book for kids that are a bit older than can understand more and it teaches believing in yourself and never giving up on your dreams. It also teaches children to be thankful to live in a safe, healthy environment.
There is nothing better than a great ongoing snarky romance. But Cat and Cody are out to get on each other’s nerves. They are both the devil in disguise, just ask them. Cody is a single dad and a cop. Cat on the other hand has had a crappy year, living in the small town of Woodvalley Pines, she is determined to find her happiness. This story is fast paced and the main characters are snarky to each other. Which makes for a great read. This is a romance to remember, so fun to read and watch Cat and Cody work through their differences. I really enjoyed this story, and know you will too. I have read other stories from this author and she never disappoints. Get ready for another must have series. Review@cinful

This book is a breath of fresh air. It gives you new perspectives on things and shows you how to enjoy the simple things. It teaches you how to stop and smell the roses and enjoy the beauty around you. The main character is going on a trip by herself and she doesn’t really know why but just knows she needs to go. While there she is introduced to all kinds of unique characters and is reminded to be content in every season.

This book was an interesting read. I had not previously read anything by St. John, but I am happy I gave the book a chance. While i did find the book ‘s a little slow to start, I truly enjoyed it. The story and characters are well developed. I would recommend this book to others.

This is the second book in the Fall Rivers series. This is a very entertaining enemies to lovers romance set in a small town. There is drama, angst, family, and plenty of tension and chemistry, as two people who are complete opposites find themselves placed together. Joy Holliday is a city girl, who returns to the little town to sort out a property that has been left to her. All Joy wants is to tear it down and move back on with her life. However things aren’t straight forward. Joy needs to bring the building up to standards if she wants the sell it (tearing it down isn’t an option) and this is how she meets Charlie.
Charlie has fallen in love with the building and wants nothing more than to restore it to its former glory, however one thing he doesn’t want is to deal with the attitude of the now owner. Can they work together at least until this project is complete? And is all the attitude and animosity between them hiding a spark that threats to burn them both? This was an enjoyable read and I really enjoyed the tension and connection between Joy and Charlie. Even when they seemed like the worst match ever somehow it just works.

As expected, Petra passed the inspection and began working as a washer girl in the city laundry, but unlike the other girls, she keeps to herself and just listens to the others around her, that is until an injustice is served and she helps another girl, even though it means she is punished too. One evening when she can’t settle, Petra decides to go for a walk near the orchards and she comes across a situation which will forward her goals and she grasps this opportunity with both hands and inserts herself into a courier’s life.

This is book 1 of a new series and it will leave you looking for more. Brynn lost her sister tragically and it seems she doesn’t know why are sister was in the area they found her body. She’s looking for answers and she finds a lot more the. She bargained for. She ends up taking Blair’s dog when she passes away and eventually moving into her place. Brynn was a quiet, friendly girl who got along with the 3 people who run the company she works for. One night she finds her sisters laptop and breaks into it by guessing her password and finds her sister had a secret life at lotus. She finds a secret chat page for doms and subs to connect. Not just anyone can join the chat page. Brynn finds a way to join and ends up talking to someone right away. This is just research to find the answers she’s looking for but one specific dom finds her right away and invites her to Lotus. She ends up meeting him and scening with him. Brynn and Adrian find something in the comfort of one another.
Adrian is a very successful man with particular tastes. He finds pleasure in causing pain to his subs. Brynn is new to the lifestyle and he decides to take her u see his wing. No one really knows who the real Adrian is….he has no friends, he lives by a strict schedule where he does the same things on the same nights, at the same time. Brynn doesn’t realize it but, Adrian actually knew her sister and knew her quite well.
Adrian has secrets….he sleepwalks! He finds himself sometimes miles away from his home with no idea how he got there or what he did while he was there. When certain things start to happen, he wonders if maybe he was the one to have committed the crimes?
This book will leave you dying to read the second book and curious to see what happens next. Definitely a great read with lots Of heat, plenty of suspense and many questions. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

This is the 3rd in the series. I recommend reading from the beginning to follow the characters. Good storyline, had me at some points like what is happening, good and fast read. I am not sure how I feel the way it ended but I give this book 4 stars.

She doesn’t exactly know why she chose this place other than she wanted to be surprised by an experience. It just called to her. While there she meets up with three guides who help her in different ways. The guides are spirits that have been looking over this piece of land since before it was inhabited by people. This was a fairly interesting book about one’s quest to discover and possibly reinvent themselves. I found the story unique in how the past and present are interwoven and an enjoyable read.

There were rumors that her brother and the Captain were not strangers, so what were they to one another? Captain Tsenturian took Petra to the the garden where the Antediluvian Stone is housed. He revealed that her brother, Aldeny, had taken himself out. In her refusal to believe that to be true, she placed her hand on the stone and demanded he tell the truth or she would make him her sacrifice. Upon this declaration she unintentionally bound the two of them together. What does this mean for them? I enjoyed this book and I do hope there is a second one. Though the story starts out slow it does get better so stick with it and you won’t be disappointed. The characters and world building were great. Fantasy isn’t a genre that I delve into very often, and I mostly end up picking misses, so I was glad to find a good one.
