This is a series that I have loved from the first book I picked up, this one is no different. I loved being pulled into a world of werewolves, voodoo, and ghosts. The action, romance between all the characters is engaging and had me turning pages until the end. Odette is reincarnated over and over. Will things change when James shows up on her doorstep? Will he be her savior? They have so much chemistry and I found myself hoping they would get the HEA they deserved. This is a must read!

This was my first book by this author, but I can honestly say that it won’t be my last! This was a truly phenomenal read, it’s highly entertaining, witty, action-packed and unbelievably funny.
From the very beginning I was hooked, Lila’s internal dialogue had me laughing out loud and feeling very connected to her. She was a really normal character in a very abnormal situation, and I loved it. I loved the flow of the story and all of the detail, it made it really easy to picture everything playing out in my mind which kept me engaged the whole way through!
I honestly can’t wait to continue reading about these characters in book 2!

The story A Deal with Death (Crescent City Wolf Pack Book 4) by Carrie Pulkinen is an awesome and amazing book to read. It pulled me in right from the start and didn’t let me go until I had finished the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Odette Allemand and James Malveaux. Odette is a smart, strong, independent, and beautiful woman. The only problem is that every time she meets her soulmate things end horrifically. Then she meets James. James is a werewolf who feels that he is broken. He remembers Odette from back in school. He is finding that his wolf wants to claim her as his mate. There is a deep attraction between these two. There seems to be a connection between them and there are sparks when they are together. Are Odette and James destined to go through an ending that never seems to change? What does their future hold? Read this book to find out. This story creates an atmosphere of suspense that had me turning pages to find out what is going to happen next. I got caught up in the romance and the emotions of the characters. I grew to care about Odette and James with each chapter that I read, and I couldn’t help but want things to work out for them. I enjoyed the bantering and interactions between them. The author has created a story that you won’t want to put down with unforgettable characters that come alive. I highly recommend reading this book.

A Deal with Death (Crescent City Wolf Pack Book 4) by Carrie Pulkinen is another exciting book in this series. It is a paranormal story that encompasses wolves and voodoo and is set in New Orleans and can definitely be read as a standalone but I know you will enjoy the other books in the series just as much. It was one intriguing and interesting read especially learning more about voodoo and it’s craft and religion. Add in werewolves and demons, death and fear, possession and spirits and you have yourself one addicting story.
Odette has always been a child of death but she has pushed aside her teachings and faith after one awful night when her life changed forever. Now she is in a race against time to stop a cycle what always ends with her death.

FURBIDDEN ATTRACTION is a quick and easy read that I read in one sitting. It has a really nice cadence with a nice give and take between the 2 main characters.
Secondary characters all play a roll in the story and while they are obviously being introduced for future stories, their actions aren’t fillers.
This story has a sense of humor that I was not expecting “There was a strange man in her apartment, possibly a serial killer. A naked serial killer who clearly had a gym membership. ”
I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Hidden Magic by India Kells is a Sanctuary Chronicles novel. This is a short book and a quick read but it is just as good as all her work usually is. This book is a great paranormal romance book. Although it is short it never at any point felt rushed or like something was missing. The characters were well developed and interesting to read about. I really thought that Brant and Kat had a great chemistry. The story itself was well paced and well developed. Although it was short the author covered everything to make it a great story. It had depth, it had action, it had romance. I honestly felt like I was reading a full length novel and was disappointed when I got to the end because I could have easily kept on reading. If you haven’t discovered this author yet then I urge you to pick up this book!

Normally I am not one to pick up a book with other worldly people written into the scenario, I tend to have a difficult time with sci-fi books keeping my interest, however with any India Kells novel I will devour it without question. Hidden Magic wasn’t any different for me. I absolutely adore how India makes one feel as if this normally outlandish idea of were/shifters co-mingling among us is completely plausible and fascinating. Every single one of the Sanctuary Chronicles has been wonderful and this little gem is the perfect novella addition. I don’t believe you have to read the others persay to enjoy this one as well, which is nice for those that enjoy standalones. I do highly recommend you read all the available ones however if you enjoy Hidden Magic.
In Hidden Magic we get the tale of Kat and Brant and holy hades this is a fabulous little romance that buds between these pages. I love the detail of not only the scenes in which these characters interact, but also of them as well. I felt as if I finished this novel fully knowing Kat and Brant as realistic beings I know, just like a friend. I absolutely can’t wait to see what else will come from the brilliant India Kells!

Dax lives to hunt and kills vampires. They prey on victims and have no feelings whatsoever. He is ruthless and efficient. Until he comes across Cindy. She is not ruthless at all, in fact she seems to be a victim. He didn’t think vampires could be like this. Now he seems to feel for her in ways he never should.
Vampire Cindel (Cindy) has been on the run for so long now. She thought her maker was the worst, but she has found out nothing is free. In the world of users of all kind, she gives what she has to to survive. When a ruthless killer shows up, she knows her life is over. But for some reason, he lets her live. As ruthless as he is, she is strangely highly attracted to him. Is a relationship even possible? When her past comes back to haunt her, she knows she has to make this work, but is it too late?
This is an enjoyable book and a great addition to the series. I really like both main characters and enjoyed learning more about them. The secondary characters also help to make this book so good. Some of your favorites are back, along with new ones you love to hate. But this isn’t just a story about the main couple. There is action in this book also, making it a well-rounded story and that much more enjoyable.
If you like paranormal romance with great characters and suspense thrown in, this book and series is for you. Oh and it can be read as a standalone but I recommend the whole series.

Furbidden Attraction: A Cursed Romance is book one in the Raven Falls Cursed Romances by R. O’Leary. This is my first dabble with this authors work, and I was excited to get into it.
It has been a long time since I read a good shapeshifter story, and from the blurb, I had a feeling it was going to be a good one. Jack and Louisa were a dynamic pair that sizzled, amused and tantalised me. An exciting story that was not lacking in all the good juicy bits. It was light and airy, it was dark and glorious. The story was energetic, adventurous and full of drama. Engaging with the characters was effortless, and the story glided along effortlessly. 4 stars.

The writing is visual and detailed. It is a well plotted story with great character development. The story moves at a really good pace and kept me invested from beginning to end.
Things are not always as they appear in this series and it is interesting to see how things are being worked out. VERMILION LIES has sexy times, drama, action and adventure.

Vermilion Lies (The Order of the Senary Book 3) by LD Rose 4 out of 5 Stars Dax Knight, what a cool name! Vermilion Lies is the 3rd book in the Senary series that takes us through the story of Dax and Cindel. This story is dark, passionate and in some cases brutal. This dystopian, fantasy world draws you in and you are reluctant to let go. Dax is a Senary who vampire hunting takes him to Cindel, the mate of his mortal enemy. The problem is, she is a vampire. The very thing Dax is designed to destroy. The chemistry between Dax and Cindel is so intense you can feel it from the pages of the book. It is raw, hot and emotional. Vermilion Lies (The Order of the Senary Series Book 3) by L.D. Rose was an engaging, exciting read, that had me hooked!
The latest book in this amazing series, I have to start with, I love the new covers. Wow, this cover was such a draw, that if I didn’t read the first two books, it would have been like a fly to honey. That a side, this book was fast pace, action packed and it hit the ground running. Like the other book, this one was full of solid characters, compelling plots lines, that were both complex and multi layered. I love Dax, he’s hot, strong, badass and just wow, I want a Dax, like I would fight Cindel for him. Mind you I’d probably lose, but hell, I would have given it my dirtiest try.
In all seriousness, I love them as the MC’s, and as love interests. They fit well, it felt natural, and I love the progression. It didn’t felt force, nor did it over-power the story line. It has a natural feel, and it added to this already pulling story.
Man, I can go one about this book, this series, but I don’t want to ruin anything, so I’m going to leave you with my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval, that you need this book/series in your life.

Obsessed (Lila Casey Series Book 1) by J Collins was a pretty okay read that had me smiling, annoyed and just got me in all the good fun feels.
This book was such a joy to read that I had it pretty much read in one sitting. As I said it’s fun, light hearted, and has some pretty good chuckle moments. I’ve read my fair share of vampire books, and I always love it when there’s a new spin on the lore. This author did a great job of making this read fresh and enjoyable. The romance was quick, but not overpowering, it flowed nice and once the other vampires started showing up, the story found solid footing and took off.
I will say that our MC Lila was a little hard for me to like at the start. She seemed a little immature for her age, and it was annoying. She did get better as the story when on, but if it wasn’t for Adam (our sexy vamp) then I don’t think I would have liked her at all, and might even have not wanted to finish the book. Other elements like detail and the overall storytelling was a major draw for me, and helped with the unlikeable MC. But as I have said she does get better as the story goes on, I just wish she wasn’t so, eyerolly at the start.
Overall this story is fantastically good, it’s has that quirky feel that just keeps you engaged and turning the pages. I’m definitely going to be following this series, as I believe that it’s going to be something epic. So yes, this book gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.

Vermilion Lies (The Order of the Senary Series Book 3) by L.D. Rose is paranormal/fantasy romance. Vermillion Lies continues the epic story set in this extraordinary series – The Order of the Senary. From the first book, L.D. Rose has had me hooked into the story lines that are interlinked in their individual ways. In this particular novel, the author focuses on Dax who is amazing! He is the epitome of a man who takes no prisoners and gives it his all and then some! Add into this dynamic Cindel, who is fractured, yet not completely broken. The culmination of these characters into the story was beyond incredible while the author kept an energetic pace with unbelievable characters. Truly this is the best story yet and I can’t wait for the others to come! L.D. Rose is brilliant!!

Furbidden Attraction: A Cursed Romance by R. O’Leary is the first book in the Raven Falls Cursed Romances series. This was a fun and easy read that will allow you to get lost for an afternoon. This is the first book that I have read by this author and it is on that I have enjoyed. I really liked reading about Louisa. She is thrust into a world she knows nothing about – and wants even less to do with – and handles it so well. I wasn’t quite as keen on Jack although I did think that they two of them worked quite well together. The story was a good story. I didn’t find it to be too complex or in depth, the perfect kind of book to use to just switch off for a few hours. It was structured and well paced and is a great introduction to a new author.

A great read about love. Brant is a were-lynx who is madly in love with Kat, a telepath. When she is captured by two strange men, his world is turned upside down. Desperate to find her and keep her safe, he enlists the help of his friends at the Sanctuary. On the search, he realises how much he loves her and that he will do anything to save her. But when events unfold and she is found broken, will his love be enough? A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Brant as strong and silent but also caring and protective underneath or Kat bubbly but struggling with anxiety underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like the kind and caring Sera or the determined Hunter. I loved the visual detail throughout the novella like with the cabin with its hearth fire and comforter and flowers for a sense of comfort and familiarity, a safe haven away from it all. Or the forest in the snow with its hidden wonders beautifully written. Or with the decorations in the cabin with the fairy lights and the tree for a sense of magic and wonder in bright colours with the red and green wonderfully written. Or the use of sounds and smells throughout, so vivid it’s as if you’ re actually there. A great example of world building with a series of fantasy creatures coexisting in our world alongside humans with their own rules and laws and societies. I also loved the inclusion of different fantasy creatures in the novella such as the were-lynx and the telepath adding something fresh and exciting to the fantasy genre and given the respect they deserve and true to their origins in the case of the telepath. The mix of fantasy of shifters and magic and the realism of police and crime scenes made for a compelling read and was combined to perfection. I also liked the use of suspense as details are revealed slowly about the captors and the past, making you want to read on to find why they took Kat. Fast paced action and high stakes make for a captivating read. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

Hidden Magic: A Sanctuary Chronicles Novella by India Kells is a must read! This was truly a fantastic paranormal read that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish.
This novella was detailed, action-packed, shocking, intense and beyond addicting. This storyline ended way too fast for my liking as I could have read about Brant and Kat for hours.
I would absolutely recommend anything from India Kells as she never ceases to amaze me! I can’t wait to read more from this talented author in the future!

Every time I pick up a book by this author I am always hooked by what I am reading. Hidden Magic may have been a novella but it was packed full with a wonderful storyline and equally as wonderful characters. I am completely in love with Kat and Brant’s story, it is just so beautifully written. Brant’s determination just showed how much Kat means to him and I was rooting for them the whole way through. I honestly thought that they were so perfect for each other. The whole story is just so beautifully and richly detailed that at times it is so easy to imagine what I am reading. I cannot recommend this book enough and I am so excited to read more for Ms Kells again in the future!

I am kicking myself for never finding this author before now. I absolutely loved this story. It brought so much new to this genre for me. Shifters are hit or miss for me as its all about the story and the characters and also the details of how they came to be the way they are. I loved Louisa and her quick wit and sarcasm. She was a strong female lead, even when she was scared she overcame it quickly or found the solution to help. And Jack, what a guy! He was hilarious and sweet but also strong and fearless.
I cannot wait to read more of this series, what an intriguing bunch they are at the Den.

My first read from this author and for this series, I was drawn in by the synopsis and that sexy cover. I love the play on words for the title, it made me chuckle and solidified my choice to grab this read.
Now, I do have some mixed feels about this book. The opening is drawing, dark, and it pulls you in right away. I was flipping the pages, just sucked into this book. Meeting Louisa, was a treat, she’s fierce, sassy, and just my kind of woman. I loved her and Jack’s chemistry, how they play off one another, the banter, and it brought life to the read and helped off set that darkness that was lurking around. Now for the mixed feels, as the supernatural elements got more involved, the detail tapered off, and characters kept popping up, and the plot got a little, messy. I had to reread some parts, but once I got everyone straighten, things got clear. I think another edit will help there, and made be even take somethings out. I feel like the author got flooded of ides, and tried to get it all down at once.
Overall this read was intreating, and I very much enjoyed the romance side of it. The MC’s were strong, and helped carried this story when things got hectic. So please take my high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will fall for these MC’s, and get caught in their crazy adventure.

Dinner with The Wolf (Misfits & Rogues Series Book 2) by Kimberly Forrest was a steamy, interesting read that had me hooked!
My first read from this author and in this series, I didn’t know what I was getting into. In saying that, I didn’t know it was part of a series at first, but the moment I read the first page I knew I missed something. Though this book did read like a standalone, there are elements that pertains to the first book, that I now need to go back and read. But overall, as the MC’s were the main focus, I didn’t feel too lost or felt like I was left out of the loop.
As for this steamy read, the author does a good job of making you not like our female MC, Vivian. I was having hard, wish she would trip and break her neck, vibes. But as the story went on, and I got to seen under her mask of vapidness, I grew to like her and really started rooting for her and Jules. Jules, he has everything you want in an alpha crazy werewolf, but it wasn’t the unlikeable kind of alpha. The protectiveness was there, but it wasn’t off putting or demanding. I love the progress of their love, and didn’t mine the quick escalation, as they have known one another for decades. This was way over due for them, and once they finally got all the misunderstandings out of the way, things got heated, in a good way.
Overall this book is a must read from me, cause I’ll tell you, I had this book read in one sitting. And as much as I love the fun conclusion, I need more from this world, as I believe the author has something epic planned. So please take my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval, that you will get hooked on this hot, love affair, with a touch of sexy madness.

That’s a Wrap (Paranormal Talent Agency #3) by Heather Silvio was a hooking, fun, engaging read that had me flipping the pages.
The third book in the Paranormal Talent Agency series, we were again greeted by an interesting MC, a unique murder mystery and pure hotness. I loved the opening, it has real criminal mind vibes, with a touch of supernatural. Just so you know this books reads as a standalone, so if you haven’t read the others book, no worries about spoiler. But I do highly suggest reading them, cause, they good!
It wasn’t long before I was hooked, and devoured this book. I have to say, out of the three this book as been my fav so far, and for me, the best. Don’t get me wrong the other books were solid and pulling reads, but this one, this one seemed more polished, consistent, and loud. I loved the MC’s, the plot and the setting, I also loved the different types of supers that keep popping up, and the spin this author puts on them.
This book, this series, is truly one of a kind and it gets my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval.
