This is the third installment in this series and probably my favorite so far. It can be read as a stand-alone but the series is so good, you should read them all. Each book keeps getting better. We’ve met Tievel in the previous books and he was always an arse. I’m happy to see that there is more to him than just attitude. This story revolves around him and Oren. Oren really evolves quite a bit as well. By the end of the book, it was good to see how much confidence he gained.
The story is well written and there is enough action to keep you interested. I love the characters and enjoy reading about their escapades. The author does an excellent job of taking things from the first two books, which you think are unimportant, and tying them into this story. I have followed this author from her first book and her writing keeps getting better. Who would have thought that a demon and a demon hunter could fall in love?

First of all let me say this book is extremely descriptive and the authors power of writing like this is extremely well done. Has she seen what she thought she has is was it a vampire. As a massive vampire book fan I have got to say this book stands out above alot of others. I feel as though I have been transported to another dimension.

The Traveler: Chimera Rising (The Book of Eleanor 3) by Shannon Nemechek is a time travel paranormal fantasy story. It is fast paced and takes up where the second book left off. The story is well written and keeps you immersed in the story as the characters are transported back through time to 1692 Scotland and meet up with an old foe. It is full of intrigue and danger, magic and spies, drama and suspense and let’s not forget the prophecy. Once again Shannon’s vivid narrative makes it easy to love and easily imagine her characters and the worlds she has created.
I’ve said it before but if you love Outlander, you will love this.

A wonderful, entertaining, and gripping read. I was hooked from the beginning. This is the second book in this series and can be read as a standalone but it is my suggestion that you start with the first one. I was so drawn into this story that I felt like I was right there along for the ride. Ethan and Serena have chemistry off the charts but neither one of them want to admit how they feel to each other. Ethan has a big family and I loved meeting every one of them. There are great characters in this story. This book is full of magic, suspense, danger, romance, and family. This is a must read. I highly recommend this book. I can’t wait to read the next one.

I loved reading the book Rebecca Remains by Jessica Aiken-Hall. It is a story that pulled me in and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is a story that had me turning pages to find out what happens next. I loved the character of Tessa Stevens. She is a character that I came to care about what happens to her. What does the future hold for Tessa? What secrets will she uncover? Read this book to find out. This is a suspenseful and mysterious story. The author does an amazing job of making the story and the characters come alive. The book takes you on a journey that you are not soon to forget. Don’t miss out on an exciting, intriguing, and entertaining story. I highly recommend it.

Is the second book in the series of the Broderick Coven. This story just keeps getting deeper and deeper as the plot line grows. Ethan and Serena have such amazing chemistry. They definitely get you wishing you had thier chemistry. There are so many twist and turns you never know where youe toe is going next. A great read for any lover of witches and parnamol activities.

Cursed Sight (Broderick Coven Book Two) by AJ Renee was a really good read! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. This is the second in the series, and although I haven’t read the first installment yet, I didn’t feel too confused without reading the first book. I feel like reading the first book would definitely help, but I was fine without it. The characters were really well written to me, and I enjoyed the storyline. It was a very entertaining novel, with a lot of romance and some really steamy scenes. I can’t wait to read the next installment! Also as a warning, this definitely ends with a cliffhanger!

Second Chance Spirit: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance by Carrie Pulkinen is the second book in the Haunted Ever After series. As with any book that I have read by this author it is highly entertaining and one I just couldn’t put down. Carrie Pulkinen has a way of creating brilliant story supported by strong and exciting characters. You really connect with them and get drawn into the story – this one no exception. Right from the word go I was hooked. Tina and Trent were so good – I loved the fact that they had history together as it felt like it added even more depth to the story. The book is a great addition to this series and it has made me even more excited to read the next one.

I was thoroughly ready and excited to get my hands on this third book in Naomi Valkyrie’s Life is Hell series. I knew that the adventure that awaited me would suck me in and keep me until the last page, so I settled in and dove right in. This book in my opinion should be read after the first two. We get familiar with the landscape and the world that has been created by Valkyrie. It is a vivid one and you will feel as if you have dove right into the story and are experiencing things right along with the characters. I really was excited to see what Teivel and Oran would get as far as a story. I must point out too that I normally don’t enjoy M/M genre reads because they can turn into a bit overwritten and with not much couth so the romance is lost for me, but this one was just right and not overly written that it was a beautiful love story layer to the book. I won’t give much more details to the story away because this is one world you must experience for yourself! I can’t wait to get my hands on the next installment!!

This is the third book in the Life is Hell series. This is a Paranormal Romance novel and comes in at around 150 pages. This story follows Teivel, a demon, and Oren, a demon hunter. Oren is new to this whole demon hunter thing. He recently found out he was a hunter, but there is no one that can assist him on how this all works, so it is a tad overwhelming. Like trying to figure out how the whole demon/demon hunter relationship will work was not tricky enough, a baby gets left on Oren’s doorstep. There was so much to love about this book and a totally unpredictable twist thrown in too!

I enjoyed this paranormal romance book and didn’t wanna put it down. This is my first book by this author and I thought it was great. It was well written and the main characters are awesome. Second Chance Spirit: A Ghostly Paranormal Romance (Haunted Ever After Book 2) by Carrie Pulkinen is just as good as the first book and I really enjoyed that one. I laughed from the start and didn’t stop until the story was finished. Carrie knows how to give her audience something to take them away from reality and immerse themselves in a fun and entertaining world. I love the way she writes her characters who are a little quirky and have idiosyncrasies.

This story was a beautifully crafted dark read. The author takes you on a journey across the ocean. The world is never what it seems. Lives are at stake and either their bond will save them or destroy them. I was so shook while reading this story. So much happening that you’re constantly in a sense of thrill. Paranormal is a genre that keeps on giving. The author did amazing with the style and flow of this story. The characters were well written. The heroine was brilliantly written. I’ve never read a story with such intensity in the dialogue. Seriously had me looking for more it was so good.

This was such a unique and interesting paranormal romance. There are creatures in this story we don’t see much of in this genre. In this day and age, it becomes increasingly more difficult to not read about the same creatures over and over. The way the author uses them is also different but at the same time oh so entertaining. The main characters are real and endearing. Emma comes to learn and accept more and more as the book goes on. To me, the best part of the story was the tests. This is where the characters and story really shine. Not to mention that it is set in England, where there is already so much history and magic. I hope there will be more books set in this world with these characters in the future.
If you are a fan of paranormal romance, this fun story is for you. I could not put it down until I was finished.

I enjoyed this book by Kat Caulberg. It introduced to me something new to me as I had not ever heard of the legend of a Shuck. I found this legend very interesting. Kat Caulberg created a vibrant world and I found myself lost in the wonder of that world. I also enjoyed the story of Tobias and Emma. I found it very moving and really liked following their journey to finding each other. Kat Caulberg is definitely an author that I will enjoy reading more from.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I love a good paranormal story but this author exceeded all my expectations. I was hooked on the first chapter. These characters drew me in on their story as well. It only took me a few hours to devour this amazing book.
Emma Aubrey finds herself in a small town in England. She was forced out of her ex’s life by his wife’s ghost. Emma knows that there’s paranormal out there but she is hearing a lot more stories in this small town. She meets Toby while she is in this small town. Emma finds herself being stalked by a shadow that keeps on finding her. Will her and Toby’s bond be strong enough to fight the darkness or will they both be destroyed?

I enjoyed this young adult story. I think any middle school aged to young adult would enjoy this story. This is a post-apocalyptic story that is emotional and suspenseful. This is the fifth book in this series but can be read as a stand alone. This is my first book in the series and I look forward to reading more from this series. This is a well developed story about Max who suffers a tragic accident that changes things for her. She is my favorite of the story and made the story fun to read. She has to look over her shoulder as she tries to keep her family safe. This is a story that is full of action and a great plot that kept me reading. Max and the other characters bring the story to life for me. I highly recommend this book.

This is the third book in this series, I enjoyed it just as much as the previous two. If you haven’t read the previous books in this series, I highly suggest you do. This is a paranormal romance that was fun and entertaining to read. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into the story from the beginning. This is a story about Gage and Erica. Gage is an investigator that has problems with dating. What will happen when his high school best friend comes back into his life? Will he get a second chance at telling her how he really feels or will the spirits stop him? I truly enjoyed this book and what the characters bring to the story. They were easily connectable and just fun. I highly recommend this book.

This is Teivel Tynan’s story, he is a tracker demon who is partial to a cigar, his typical uniform is a black trench coat and matching stetson, when he is working, he frequents the typical dive bars where the less than savoury characters hang out, but he seems to be spending more and more time at Juniper lake since his friends have ended up getting into mischief there, but there is also the matter of his ex’s deputy who’s pull is strong as well. but when a tracking job comes up, he takes it without question. Meanwhile the town deputy and resident demon hunter is pulling his hair out trying to learn more about his ancestry and it doesn’t help matters that he is attracted to Teivel as well, but between his attitude and disappearing acts when he is meant to be helping him train, he is frustrated and angry at the demon for making promises he can’t seem to keep.
In the midst of researching he realises that this job could take longer than normal and that his current living situation is complicated enough without the guilt of leaving the male escort he has a long term contract with knowing that he isn’t interested in that way anymore, at least not since the deputy came onto the scene, so he helps him to relocate and sets him up while he is sleeping and moves in to another base he can call home. As Teivel remains on his tracking job, the deputy is getting more and more annoyed with him, especially when he finds out where he has moved to, but when he decides to go out on his own and ends up picking up a guy, he is rudely interrupted by Teivel slamming the door open on him and having the audacity to tell the other guy to leave, they proceed to have an argument and Teivel is kicked out of the room, but not until the deputy throws him through a wall.
As the trail he is meant to be tracking goes cold and things out of his control start to happen, he finds that ignoring his growing feelings for the deputy is becoming harder for both of them, but when a basket with a baby lands on the deputy’s doorstep and they realise that it is no ordinary baby, things get more mysterious, but can they all work together to find the parents and why people are still trying to find the baby, or will their personal issues get in the way? This is a romance with a LGBTQ twist which will have you following the trails with them all the way through.

I really enjoyed this book. It contains my favourite elements, mystery, romance and paranormal. The characters are so well written you can’t help but get dragged into their story and lives.
Serena is a high priestess of a witches coven. After helping some Ethan and Brandy learn how to work their powers she can’t deny the attraction she feels towards Ethan. The problem is she doesn’t realise how deep that connection is.
Ethan is an oracle. He gets vision and dreams of things that could happen So when he gets visions of Serena getting killed he knows he has to save her and stop whoever is trying to harm her.
With their connection getting stronger and the danger of the person trying to harm Serena getting closer will they work it out in time to save her? And just how deep is the connection between Ethan and Serena? Could it have been planned years in advance? Are they destined to be together?

Hell in a Handbasket is the third book in Naomi Valkyrie’s Life is Hell series. It follows demon hunter Oran, who turns to demon Teivel for help when he is unable to find anyone more suitable to help him train to carry out his inherited profession. This turns out to be quite tricky, as Teivel keeps disappearing without warning for long stretches of time and also Oran finds himself rather inconveniently attracted to the demon. With a cast of characters and a setting established in previous books, Hell in a Handbasket quickly settles into the story. There are mysteries and challenges (not least, the baby left in a basket on Oran’s doorstep). The team works together (mostly…) to protect those who need protecting and face the challenges life throws at them. This is a fun book with a focus on found family as well as romance. It has an enticing urban fantasy/paranormal setting that will appeal to fans of Supernatural, Buffy and similar media. For me, this is a five star read. Definitely worth starting at book one to get to know the characters and the world.

Black Dog Rising by Kat Caulberg. This is a great story. Not my favorite genre but the author writes so well that I loved the story. Its an intense paranormal love story that will have you flipping the pages late in the night. Its the story of Emma Aubrey who is an American in England who is trying to get away from her ex. When she meets Toby Deering the owner of the inn she is staying at she is smitten immediately. The Black Shuck Inn is becoming to be her home away from home but there is a dark side to the inn that Emma is finding out about. This story is full of mystery, intrigue, ghosts and magic. If you don’t believe in ghosts now you will by the end of this book. When Emma finds out Toby has been under a 400 year old curse will she leave the one true love she feels shes found? Wow! I didn’t exactly know what to expect when I picked this novel up but that cover drew me in deep and I had to know what the story was beyond the cover. This is one you do not want to miss if you love all things paranormal, fae, and dark romance. I loved the adventures that Caulberg brought. I was constantly on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would come next. We follow Emma Aubrey, a woman in a new world to her being an American in England, but she needs to stay safe as she flees her ex. Then her path crosses with Toby Deering and all the rest is history. I won’t divulge much more because I feel this is one that needs to be read and enjoyed with zero spoilers. I cannot wait to see what else will come from Kat Caulberg!

Over the years, I’ve read many different kinds of vampire books – so many that I run the risk of reading the same old vampire story. In saying that, I took a chance on this book and I’m happy that I did. I’ve really enjoyed the journey that R.B. Fields took me on. I felt transported into a new world and the characters are refreshing. The book starts off by introducing the strong, kick ass, independent human that quickly falls into the dreamy and irresistible world of Silas- The vampire. Their story intrigued me – pulling me in with their quick wit, their banter and their burning emotions. Their story soon turns into a multi point of view story just as I was starting to learn about Dawn and Silas. As much as I love a multi voiced story, the amount of voices put in here almost became too much. It felt busy and almost like a competition too be heard. I got distracted and I felt some characters were just not as interesting as others. That being said, this story still grabbed my interest from the first page and I completely fell in love with the world building too. It leaves me hungry for more.

I have quickly come to love the Life is Hell series by Naomi Valkyrie. I was super excited to read book 3, Hell in a Handbasket, and it did not disappoint. I do not normally read books about the paranormal, nor books focused around M/M/NGBTQ characters, but I really do love this series. Well done Valkyrie! I don’t know where your idea spring from, but keep them coming. The characters have come to life, and I love the little paranormal family that is built in this series. I appreciate that the relationships are clear, but they are subtle, and not graphic. More inferred than actually spelled out. This book focuses around Teivel and Oren- the most unlikely couple ever! A Demon, and a Demon Hunter; a killer and a cop… but it totally works. I loved the reveal of Teivel’s past, and why he is such a jerk. As well as the history of Teivel and Malachai. The next story sounds interesting… I’m curious to see how that is going to work. To be continued…

Cursed Sight is the second book in the Broderick Coven series by A.J Renee.
Before reading this I hadn’t read the first book in the series. I would recommend reading it first, just so you can enjoy it even more. Despite jumping straight into book two I was able to piece things together easily. Cursed Sight is the story of Ethan and Serena. Ethan is an oracle who is looking for guidance to help develop his power. Serena is the High Priestess of her coven and is looking for an oracle to join her coven.
Despite having not read the first book (although I have since gone back and read that too) I was hooked really quickly by the characters and the storyline. I read this in an afternoon, it is action-packed, fast-paced, and I didn’t want to put it down. It was one of those stories where I needed to know what happened next. The characters are great, I was totally invested. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series now.

I loved reading the book Black Dog Rising by Kat Caulberg. It is a story that pulled me in, and I didn’t want to put it down until the final page. I loved the storyline and the characters of Emma Aubrey and Toby Deering. What does the future hold for them? Read this book to find out. This is a book that had me turning pages to find out what happens. The author does an amazing job of making the story and the characters come alive. It takes you on a journey that you will not soon forget. Don’t miss out on a story that is interesting, intriguing, exciting, and entertaining. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend reading it.

Cursed Sight (Broderick Coven Book 2) by AJ Renee 4 Stars!!!!
Wow is all I can say. I know I once again have started a series out of order but man I can say that I was not at all at a loss. I totally could see how this could be a continuation as well as how the story line was formed. The author has such a unique style and I was definitely hooked. This is one of my favorite genres so I was eager to read this book.
Ethan and Serena have such a great chemistry. I could feel the drama shrouding them and like how the author was able to keep the story fresh and unpredictable. I like how she helps him and they really both complete one another. The author has a great series here and I look forward to reading more.
