This book is the next installment in the Darkness and Light Duology series but was written as a standalone. This book has got to be my favourite of them so far. I loved immersing myself in this world again and relearning about the characters. It took no time at all for me to be swept up by everything happening. The book was well written, exciting and a pure pleasure to read. Right from the start, this book was imaginative and refreshing to read. It is so unique compared to other fantasy books I have read and I feel like I could read this series for a long time to come. I would highly recommend this book to any fan of the genre and I cannot wait to see what else this author will produce.

Forbidden Blood is the fourth installment of The Shadow Chronicles. That being said, this is the first installment I have read. Not only is this book fast-paced, action-packed, and drool worthy but it also functioned great as a stand alone! I had a hard time putting it down. Kimber’s life became a whirlwind of new possibilities when a mystery man entered her life. She had been treated as a weapon and kept captive for years. Fabian showed her compassion and understanding as her powers grew day by the day. He was the only person who had ever believed in her. He made her feel safe while encouraging Kimber to reach her full powerful potential. I loved it!

I have read some of the author’s previous works, but I had not started the Darkness and Light Duology series, but luckily, this is a standalone story, so I was able to dive right in. I loved how steamy the book got and the chemistry between Arwyn, Elan, and Hassan was fire. I loved how humorous the story would get and I always love a story with appropriately used swear words. I definitely enjoyed how well written and developed the characters were and the story line absolutely makes me want to check out the rest of the series. I loved how well the romance was able to fit into the fantasy, action, adventure story filled with magic!

I’ll admit that I had a difficult time getting into the story at first. The way the characters interact with each other in the beginning felt a bit formal, but as I kept reading it grew on me. This story has a little of everything – magic, suspense, danger, and of course, romance. The world-building is interesting and demonstrates the strength of the author’s imagination. Good read. Give it a try.

I have read the whole series to War of Destiny, none of the books has disappointed. The author really blew me away with this story. This isn’t usually my typical type of books I read, but I loved them. The world building and characters was well thought out. The details was on point. There wasn’t unnecessary details. I can’t wait to read more by the author!
Between Darkness & Light is the third book in the series. Each book I got into, each one got just that much better. They were a page turner for me. This one was full of adventures. I never knew what was gonna happen next. That made me continue to read because I wanted to know what happened next. I highly recommend starting with book 1.
Lost Soul is the first book in the series. I really loved the whole series. Lost souls had amazing world building and characters was well thought out. You can tell the author took time writing this series. Each book was very unpredictable, which kept you reading because you wanted to know what happened next. I highly recommend reading the whole series!
Pursuit into Darkness was another great book in this series. This is the second book and it didn’t disappoint. The details was on point. The world building and characters was well thought of. This book was a page turner for me. It had me wanting to know what happened next.

An interesting story about the strength of love. Friends Elan and Arwyn soon find that friendship may just be the beginning of what they want. When Hassan enters their world things begin to change. Emotions play a big role in this book and you are taken on a ride full of ups and downs. There is no stopping fate and these three men learn to follow their hearts. It was nice to see the way that their relationship grows and deepens. Each man has a distinct personality and together they are something that no one can tear apart. Theirs is a fast-paced story full of a good mix of emotion and action.

I really enjoy this series. I love seeing the characters find their people and new ways to beat back evil. Fabian was a wonderful addition to the storyline. He brings his unique perspective to the table and calls out a lot of mistaken thought processes. He single handedly manages to baffle every one of the team at one point or another too. I look forward to more of this series!

I really didn’t think that I would be in love with a paranormal romance series like I am with this one. I have red all 4 books and I have not been disappointed since. I highly recommend that you start from the beginning because this book starts with Tasha’s sister Kimber. The first three books focused on Tasha’s story and now this book starts in with Kimber so you might feel a little lost or not understand fully on what is going on when something is being brought up in the story line. These stories are amazingly written and so vivid with details scenes that they really make you feel like you’re standing there watching and, in the story, right along with everyone else. The book (and series) had me once again hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t bring myself to put it down till I was done reading.

This is a fantastic tale! I have read love stories involving three people and it can be difficult to find a balance. This book handles the different emotions and tensions very well! Rather than cause drama for drama’s sake, the emotions of these characters are raw, genuine, and they all have fantastic depth. I personally love the theme of fated mates and this author has such a unique take on it! Absolutely wonderful read!

Fated mates The third book in the Darkness & Light Duology series has suspense, action, drama, steam, magic and adventure. The author recaps certain specifics such as who the ElineFae are, which would allow this book to be read as a stand-alone. With a male triad relationship this is slightly different to the first two books but just as engaging. The imagery is really well done and the author creates a very impressive world. Recommend.

Love Bites More is the third instalment in the Darkness & Light Duology series and is a wonderful addition to the Love Bites World by T.L Clark. I fell in love with the ElineFae in the first two book- so to say I was so excited to find this third book had released is a bit of an understatement. I loved rediscovering the ElineFae, and even though it had been a while since I read the original two books Ms. Clark refreshes our memory with a bit of an overview of what has happened previously- so this could definitely be read as a standalone, if you want. But having said that, I really recommend reading the previous books before starting on this one- because the original duology is truly exquisite, and you would definitely be missing out by not having read them first. As with the other two books, this is an original story full of imagination and clever and intriguing touches. This instalment is a little different from the previous books, in that it is a MM menage romance (threesome)- but woven around it is the wonderful fantasy world we have come to know and love from the original two books. Cleverly crafted with paranormal details, witches, magick, dragons, mystery, suspense, violence, danger, kidnapping, longing, angst, action, adventure, and so much more that resulted in an enthralling read. After reading the first two books and loving them as much as I did, I must admit that I had high expectations for this one- and I am sooo happy to say that Ms. Clark didn’t disappoint, she delivered everything that I was hoping for, and more. This story reintroduces us to Elan and Arwyn whom we met in the original duology, as they are Pryderi’s friends. But joining them is Hassan- shaking things up and adding a large dose of spice to the mix. I loved that we also got to catch up with Shakira and Pryderi from Books one and two, too- making the story even more captivating, for me. As expected, the characters are wonderfully developed individuals with their own personalities, quirks and flaws. And I have to say, again, that I am blown away by all the unique touches that Ms. Clark has given her story and the characters- there is such a vast array of magical creatures who inhabited these books- they really made the story/series such an exciting and memorable experience. And then, there is the matter of the incredible world building skills that Ms. Clark demonstrates throughout this story/series. She really brought the whole thing to life using her rich imagination, and flare with words. I really can’t wait to read whatever Ms. Clark writes next! Happy Reading…

Love Bites More is part of TL Clarks the Darkness & Light Duology and the Love Bites world. Even though it is part of this world it is most definitely a stand-alone. She made sure to give a quick overview of things that have happened in the other books so as a reader we understand where they come from and who they are.
It is just as good as the other books, but it is very different to the other Love Bites books. Even though there are other things happening in their world this book is primarily about the relationship of these sexy but growly men with wants and needs.
It is a paranormal romance tale of a male triad. They now have to find a new norm in their relationship that was once only two but is now three. It is fund and a bit of an intense emotional rollercoaster as we watch these possessive males find each other and become fated mates.
In this intriguing read there is never a dull moment as we get to know and understand the complexities of these characters, their ways of living and their world.
TL made this an action-packed exciting read. Add in a little fun banter, a whole lot sexy, Elinafae, witches, Magick, dragons and you have everything to keep you entrenched in the story.

I was so excited for Kimber to get her own book when she was introduced in book one. Kimber is another interesting character. Her family has kept her secret for most of her life. Seeing her as weak and useless, until she comes into her power. She is then conscripted into the vampire army, and her coven leader finds out about her powers. Enter Fabian. He is a shaman that is supposed to help maintain balance, but evil has woven it’s way into this organization so it’s hard to know who is friend and who is foe. The character’s chemistry when they are introduced to each other is off the charts! I loved the continuation of the story from their perspective and the series just keeps getting better and better! I loved this book just as much as the others and I hope she keeps going!

It is a M/M/M Paranormal romance story about fated mates that centers around the characters of Arwyn, Elan, and Hassan. Elan and Arwyn have been friends for a lifetime but have never taken their attraction for one another to the next level. Not until Hassan enters the picture and becomes attracted to Elan. Before long the passion and chemistry between the three men becomes undeniable and they are in a sizzling hot, threesome. This book was well written, had wonderful characters, and was entertaining. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. I have enjoyed this author’s writing style and how they bring the story to life with details. I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. A story that is engaging, creative that has adventure and romance together. A story about an oath that was made long ago, friendships, and destiny that can change relationships forever. This is a fast paced story that you don’t want to miss. It can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading previous books by this author. It will help your enhancement with the characters as well as this author. There is great growth and chemistry with these characters which made the story easy to read and entertaining. I enjoyed reading this story and I highly recommend it.

The Ring of Eagna is the fourth book in The Cross of Ciaran series by Andrea Matthews. As this book follows on from the events in the previous book/s, I highly recommend reading them before diving into this one, as there is a lot of pertinent information, details, and back story contained there that will set you up to better appreciate this instalment, as well as the series as a whole. The Ring of Eagna is the fourth intriguing book in The Cross of Ciaran series. I thought The Cave of Ruin Arsa was the last book but am glad it is not. So, make sure to dive into the three other books before starting on this one. They follow on from each other and you don’t want to miss out on the previous adventures and wonderful characters. Andrea draws you into the deadly mystery that is rich in archaeology and vivid with historical facts. Her world building makes it so easy to picture the scenes portrayed in the story. The stories keep getting better. It is unique and interesting and has a bit of everything to keep the reader engrossed and with each book tension and the mystery builds the suspense nicely. This captivating tale has plenty of twists to keep readers engaged. With treasure hunting, magic, adventure, drama, disturbing dreams, danger, miscreants, fights for survival and so much more it’s easy to get lost in the passion through the narrative. As a fan of this historical romance with a paranormal twist, I was excited to read this latest novel and I was not disappointed. The story continues, with Ciarán and Aodhán Donnelly who feel like old friends now. A monk in tenth-century Ireland records the legend of a mythical treasure which needs three ancient rings to access it. A thousand years later, and Ciarán and Aodhán then discover the manuscript and are convinced the tale refers to the relics of their fifth-century priesthood. However, the tome warns that to retrieve the fabled cache without the rings will cause dire consequences. As the brothers already have two rings they decide to locate the third, whilst recovering the hidden artefacts for the museum. Their treasure hunt soon turns deadly when they realise they are not the only ones searching for the sacred artefacts, and it seems their rivals are willing to do anything to find them. However, they would need to acquire the rings they already have, and they will not relinquish them without a fight! As usual the descriptive narrative brings both the characters and setting vividly to life making me feel immersed in the story. The storyline continues from the previous book, so I would personally recommend reading the series in order. I was hooked throughout and the plot kept me gripped and happily turning the pages. The historical details transported me back in time and I found the glossary at the end of the book very helpful. An enjoyable and engaging read.

The excitement to read the next in this series. I am a big fan of this series. The author has written it to feel so authentic. She includes a map, glossary and a dictionary. The characters are so uniquely written that they are such a joy to read. Ciaran and his brother can make me feel like I’m on the treasure hunt with them because of all the descriptions and the stories that are shared. Cait is torn, yet not, because there are so many to watch the kids. I loved trying to figure out which is the bad guy. I don’t think I would want to go on family vacations with them because they always end up in trouble, but they roll with it. I’ve loved this series and I can’t wait to read more books from this author. I love her style of writing and how authentic she makes it feel. This is a must read.

I thoroughly enjoy this series. Reading about Kimber and Fabian’s romance was heartwarming and thrilling. I love how much the supernatural creatures mix. They love who they want and they break barriers. It gets a tad steamy but nothing too raunchy, there’s lots of action, and I couldn’t help but keep reading. Definitely a great read for those who love the paranormal.

Andrea Matthews is the pseudonym for Inez Foster, a historian and librarian who loves to read and write and search around for her roots, genealogical speaking. She has a BA in History and an MLS in Library Science, and enjoys the research almost as much as she does writing the story. In fact, many of her ideas come to her while doing casual research or digging into her family history. She is the author of the Thunder on the Moor series set on the 16th century Anglo-Scottish Border, and the Cross of Ciaran series, where a fifteen hundred year old Celt finds himself in the twentieth century. Andrea also writes historical mysteries under the pen name I. M. Foster. Her series A South Shore Mystery is set in the early 1900s on Long Island. Andrea is a member of the Long Island Romance Writers, and the Historical Novel Society.

I was sooo happy to see this book come out! I love the world this author has created and missed these wonderful characters. It is full of danger, suspense and paranormals. The first half was a little slow for me. I liked the insight into the male lead but got bored. The second half is all fire and brimstone and action filled and I could not read it fast enough!
I got to see some new characters and hang out with old friends. Dominic is stll a treat to watch and when he hangs with the gang he becomes feisty, crazy and curious. His dialogue made me laugh so many times but he also shows his serious old soul a time or two. I really saw Kimber grow in here. She went from a whiney loner to a strong woman. I could really *feel* it near the end just rolling off the letters.
Overall a great addition to the series! I loved so much about this one. One of my favorite scenes involved his house. Its alive! It shifts, rejects or welcomes people. I liked it a lot. I can’t wait for more as I am hoping more elemental sorceress will be found (hopefully for Dominic haha).

I was immediately drawn into this story; it was exellently written with great character and world development. I was able to read the book out of order without issue but I will add that reading the series in order would definitely help as there is an overall story that carries through the series as well as characters back story’s that were introduced previously. But if you’re like me and just can’t wait, I would recommend this book regardless of the reading order.

I devoured this book late into the wee hours of the morning. I could not put it down. This is the story of Kimber and The Watcher.
Kimber has been through the gambit suffering at the hand of Castus. He is now dead and she is dealing with her suffering. Her family has always treated Kimber like the weak girl needing to be protected by everything around her. Her visions are still rendering her incapable of withstanding their pain. In this book, Kimber meets the Watcher and this changes her life forever.
So much tension filled pages as the group of our old favourite characters join together to battle the hellspawn and other magical beings. If you enjoyed the past books, you gobble this one up as well. I loved this one the most.

This is one of my favorite authors and I am never disappointed. I really enjoyed this book and I was so eager to read the fourth book in this series. I love how the characters always have electrifying chemistry. The books are well balanced with the romance and the drama and action. The forbidden love story really adds to the atmosphere of the book. The author keeps you on the edge of your seat and hungry for more. I don’t want to put the book down. I really look forward to reading more from this author and this series as it’s one of my favorite genres.
