Ocean's Three (Made In Heaven, #2)Ocean’s Three by Elena Kincaid
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the second book in the Made in Heaven Series and might I say just as good as the first one. Cameron and Reed are cousins that share a psychic connection to Joselyn. After seeing each other in their dreams on and off for many years they finally meet on a cruise in the Mediterranean, the emotions they all go through are so vivid at times. Will they be able to make the relationship between the three of them work?

Rogue (The Talisman Series Book 6)Rogue by Tam DeRudder Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In only 2 books, Tam DeRudder Jackson has become one of my favorite authors. Her writing style, descriptions, & creativity make her entirely phenomenal. I fell in love with this series with Talisman, & even as out of order as I’ve now read Rogue, I feel like I haven’t missed anything. Each individual character is so different from the others, in thought processes & opinions & mannerisms – truly an amazing accomplishment! With steamy sexy scenes, exciting battles, adventurous vibes, & a little magic going a long way, I’ll thoroughly enjoy devouring every single word in every single book just as much as I did this one!

Rogue (The Talisman Series Book 6)Rogue by Tam DeRudder Jackson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. One of the things I enjoy most is her writing skills and her attention to details. She pulls you into the story with ease and keeps you there until the end. This book is no different. The characters are steamy, creative and pull you into their world with ease. They are relatable and add a lot to the story. A story about Delaney and Baz. They have great chemistry and a strong attraction. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout. What will happen when the Goddesses come calling on Baz? He has found himself making a choice of love or freedom. You don’t want to miss what happens. This is a fast paced, entertaining, hard to put down story that kept me coming back for more. I really enjoyed this romance story and I highly recommend it.

Rogue (The Talisman Series Book 6)Rogue by Tam DeRudder Jackson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rogue is a Paranormal Fantasy romance and the sixth book in the Talisman series. There is a lot happening in this action-packed tale. It’s so easy to become immersed in this magical world. It is written in multiple POV which makes the story so much more interesting hearing from other perspectives. This unique tale has druids and mythology, gods and goddesses, supernatural abilities, magic, a curse, revenge, and good vs evil.
I enjoyed the colourful vast cast of many characters, but I really liked these two MC’s. They are badass characters they are interesting and face many challenges on the road toward something better. The sexual tension between these two is intense, steamy and sizzling.
Kieran ‘Baz’ Cormac, a warrior joined the wrong side he aligned himself with evil and is now facing the deceit and lies he has been dealt. Just when he plans to take down the enemy the one thing he has been waiting for and had given up on comes into his life. His Talisman.
Delaney has lived with the stigma of having a rogue in her family and everything that came with it. She has all but given up on finding the one. Now she finds that fate has given her a rogue as her fated mate.
I wonder what comes next from Tam.

Ocean's Three (Made In Heaven, #2)Ocean’s Three by Elena Kincaid
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

An enjoyable and engaging paranormal romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Cameron Pompeo sees and feels things that he cannot explain, like the young girl, Jocelyn who appears nightly in his dreams, and seems so real. When his cousin Reed also shows up in his dream he realises that Jocelyn is real, and is important to both of them. Meanwhile, Jocelyn Parker has struggled with her guilt ever since her mother was tragically killed in an accident. She has convinced herself that she has made up the two most important people in her life, although something in her soul tells her that the two men are real. The three of them are finally brought together on a cruise to the Mediterranean. They finally meet, make real memories together and make promises of a future with the three of them being together. However, with outside forces threatening their relationship they may not be able to stay together when the cruise is over. This is an entertaining read, with an intriguing storyline and plenty of steamy romance. The characters are likeable and relatable, and the chemistry between Cameron, Jocelyn and Reed sizzles off the page.

This book is the second in the series and is just as good as the first. I was pulled into the story instantly by the characters and wanted to know more about them. As with the first book, this one is a unique story that I thought it was well written. This book was certainly all about the characters. The connection they had was undeniable and I loved every part of it.
This author is still a new one to me and I am enjoying what I am reading so far. If this is what all of her books are like then she definitely has a new fan in me.

This is the fourth book in this series which is just as great as the previous three books. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to help your enhancement of this series and the characters. This is a series that I have enjoyed reading from the first book and this one is no different. This is a well written story where the author has created characters that not only pull you into their world but make their story come to life. A story where there are battles and unexpected allies but are they true or another obstacle to stop Lane from going home. This is a great story that is fast paced and hard to put down. A story where it will take you on an adventure that just keeps going with hopes of going home. This is one of my favorites of the series for sure. I really enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.

I’m pretty biased on this book because I absolutely love this series due to the plot. Morrigan is a fave of mine and these books are always beautifully written. Well worth the read if you are a fan of deities and like to have some spice to your books. I am still missing a few of the books in this series but even skipping one I did not get lost in reading Rogue. Best Celtic mythology fiction books I’ve had the honor of reading. You’ll fall in love with Baz and Delaney and question everything.

Frozen By Lies (Sleigh Riders Book 1) by Martha Sweeney – Review by Francis O’Sullivan

Frozen By Lies (Sleigh Riders Book 1)Frozen By Lies by Martha Sweeney
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Frozen By Lies is the first book in the Sleigh Riders series. It’s perfect if you’re after a paranormal romance that will get you in a festive mood! There’s snow and hot chocolate and everyone has appropriately festive names, but refreshingly it isn’t too cutesy. It’s decidedly an adult book and there’s conflict and animosity as well as romance and magic.

Noelle is a fun protagonist! Proactive and determined, she won’t let matters rest and is ready to stand up to her protective cousins. I also like Grandma Sapphria who stands out from the rest of Noelle’s family as sympathetic and supportive.

This book gets four stars from me. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series – hopefully it will be out in time to enjoy next holiday season.

I loved the action in this one. I found the characters entertaining. Delaney and Baz kept me glued to the story but Teague and Ella were quite fun side story also. I found the story to be well-written. Isn’t Morganna quite the troublesome one? She stirs up trouble all around. A story that will pull you right in and you won’t want to leave until it’s over. Following the adventures of Delaney and Baz was an entertaining adventure for me. If you like paranormal romantic suspense, you should try this series. It’s really good.

Like the tagline of her first novel, Tam DeRudder Jackson’s personal motto is “love is worth the risk.” Readers and reviewers have praised her stories for her swoon-worthy characters, movie-quality world building, and strong writing. Though she’s a voracious reader of all genres of romance, her favorite genres to write are paranormal and contemporary. When she’s not writing or reading, she’s probably traveling or skiing or dancing at a rock concert.

Fallen Soul is the fourth installment of the War of Destiny stories and you can tell. I would not recommend reading this until you read the first three. I started reading it without the first three and had to stop and purchase the first three. That being said, after getting caught up I was impressed with the story line. Lane just wants to go home but is being hunted by the Vampire King. Tons of violence if that isn’t your thing don’t read on. This story is non stop action.

Ocean's Three (Made In Heaven, #2)Ocean’s Three by Elena Kincaid
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the 2nd installment in the Made in Heaven series and it can be read as a standalone. While Kincaid stays true to her paranormal romance MFM, the characters and setting are different. The basic plot line is similar to the 1st installment in such that Cameron, Reed, and Jocelyn meet (initially) in their dreams; however, the storyline and development of the characters does vary from the first book. I do feel that this book was more emotional than the first one and definitely brought a tear or two to my eyes. I enjoyed this book, but it’s definitely a niche that you want to make sure you’re into because it is a bit different.

This was a great story and I loved the main characters. However, I believe we could have seen a lot more growth from each one. I felt this story was too short. However, there wasn’t anything I hated. I just wanted more from these characters and I didn’t want their story to end. We get to see some growth from Jocelyn along the way, but I wish we got more of a glimpse into the men, Cameron and Reed. Overall a great story though, and I’d read it again.

What a treat! This book features strong family ties. A forbidden romance begins to bloom between two members of feuding families. This is not the typical Hatfield-McCoy feud, but the twist is that these family groups each have special powers. The magic of Christmas is juxtaposed against the power of the solstice. This book is the fabulous first in the beginning of a wonderful series!

Shadow wolf was exactly what I would expect from a supernatural story. You get shapeshifters, vampires, and a human at the center of it all. Plus a bit of romance. There’s an air of mystery with this story and at the end you definitely have a lot more questions. Which is great because I prefer reading series. This is the first book I’ve come across by this author and I’m excited to read others.

I am ready to keep reading this author to see where she ends up.

Right off the bat I was intrigued by the instant connection between Tamaska and Kodiak, despite both of them fighting the attraction. I had not read any other books by the author, but I greatly enjoyed the world she created with shifters, vampires, and humans. I loved how well written the characters were and how well they worked together. Tamaska was such a wonderful female main character and I loved that she was so strong, Kodiak was such a sexy shifter and his abilities made him a great leading male. The author did a great job of keeping me in suspense of what was happening and I couldn’t put the book down. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series and see where the series goes.

5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is my first book by this author and I loved it and the cover of the book is stunning. I am already anxiously anticipating book 2!! This story has drama, shifters, vampires, wolves and romance and I loved the names of the 2 main characters, Kodiak and Tamaska.

Tamaska is the lead whom has a Blood Opal up for bid and this may make or break on keeping her job. She has every detail planned out for this auction to happen, including the highly recommended security detail, but when plans don’t go accordingly, the Blood Opal disappears.

Kodiak is a shifter and part of the security detail that Tamaska hires to protect the Blood Opal. He stops at nothing to try to make things right when the Blood Opal goes missing on his watch and comes under much scrutiny, especially in the eyes of Tamaska. When Kodiak and his team find out that vampires might be the cause of the disappearance of this opal, it is a race against time to find it.

Tamaska and Kodiak butt heads at the beginning but it turns into this deep connection, all Kodiak wants to do is find this opal and also protect Tamaska. The Vampires are dangers and hold the key to the opal and they also have Tamaska on their menu. Will Kodiak protect Tamaska when she needs it the most? Will Tamaska find out what Kodiak truly is outside of being security detail? Will Kodiak and Tamaska find the Blood Opal so it does not stay in the wrong hands?

This story is great I really enjoyed the spark between Tamaska and Kodiak and both their character growth. I am so looking forward to book 2 to see what happens next!!

A good start
The first book in the Protector Wolf Shifter Series and we meet wolf shifter Kodiak and human Tamaska. It is a fast paced, dual POV story with a mix of action, romance, sexy times, paranormal, mystery and drama. The wolf/vampire aspect is well done. It ends on a cliffhanger and the reader is literally left hanging with unanswered questions leading into book 2. Looking forward to seeing where this goes. Recommend.

Shadow Wolf (Protector Wolf Shifter Series Book 1)Shadow Wolf by Lilliana Rose
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tamaska loves her job. That is until it all went down the toilet when she was hired to coordinate an event that showed off the priceless Blood Opal. Everything was going wrong. She ended up hiring a security team last minute that came highly recommended, but still had her doubts. The head of the team, Kodiak, was a stubborn and commanding man which instantly set Tamaska off because she was just as stubborn and commanding.

Instantly there was tension between the two so when the Blood Opal disappeared, Tamaska blamed Kodiak immediately.

Meanwhile, Kodiak is a wolf shifter and realizes instantly that something more sinister is at play. It appears that the vampires are behind the theft, they have also taken a special interest in Tamaska. She decides to try to find the Blood Opal herself causing more trouble. Kodiak is trying to keep her safe from a world she knows nothing about. However, his Alpha forbade him from protecting her. He thinks that they should just focus on the vampires. Kodiak wants to do both. He is oddly attracted to Tamaska and has no idea why. Will he be able to keep her safe while keeping her oblivious to the supernatural world right under her nose?

This book was very exciting. The book starts off with a bang and never has a dull moment. I loved both characters, even though they were very similar personality wise, they were also so different and seemingly perfect for each other. The book has lots of action and some steamy scenes as well. The book ends with a lot more to come. I can’t wait for the next book to come out!

Shadow Wolf (Protector Wolf Shifter Series Book 1) by Lilliana Rose – Review by Roxsanne Lesieur.

Shadow Wolf (Protector Wolf Shifter Series Book 1)Shadow Wolf by Lilliana Rose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tamaska is a woman with a lot on her plate and the determination to succeed, as well as a clear idea of her path in life, however, when her latest venture goes terribly wrong, she is at a loss of what to do. Kodiak is a man with talent, not to mention that he is a wolf shifter and the second in command, but he has eyes on the top spot, however, when his latest job goes south, he is determined to make things right.

When Tamaska and Kodiak lock eyes the first time they meet, they can feel something smouldering between them, but they are more focussed on work than each other, no matter how hard it is to do, but when the unexpected happens, this connection they feel causes Tamaska to blame Kodiak for how things went down, but he knows he is innocent and is determined to find out the root cause of the failure. Tamaska is also determined to get answers, but when she follows a lead, she doesn’t realise the danger she is in, or that Kodiak will be in the same place at the same time and when one thing leads to another, they cannot deny their attraction any longer, but this isn’t the only dangerous territory they encounter, Kodiak is determined to protect Tamaska, even if she doesn’t want him to.

As Kodiak continues to investigate and finds out that the vampires are involved and that they are making moves which are unusual to their previous patterns and Tamaska is slap bang in the middle of it all, but when he reports what is happening to his alpha, he is given orders he doesn’t agree with and now knowing that he has to make a choice between Tamaska and his pack, what will he do and how will she react to that decision? This is a fast paced urban fantasy where difficult choices have to be made and the consequences dealt with no matter the costs and this makes it a steamy and action packed start to this series.
