This is a great paranormal story. It contains my favourite things vampires and werewolves and romance. The author does an amazing job with the characters. From their first meeting you get caught up in the connection between Tasha and Levi. Their connection is hot and passionate and the fact that it’s forbidden makes their feelings even stronger. How can something that feels so right be so wrong? Their story has love and heartbreak when their summer ends and Levi and Tasha have to part and fight for their own species against each other. You can feel the turmoil and the heartache this causes them both. Can their love survive? Is their love the trigger needed to reunite their species after all the years of war or will they be punished for a love they feel is right. I was gripped from beginning to end and I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series.

l liked this story however I found it a very slow place. The voice over in this audio unfortunately didn’t do it for me I could not hear there passion. Sarena is a strong, independent unqunie lady. Its quick and witty but I feel thier could of been more substance to this book hopefully this is increased in the next book.

This book has every thing you should want in a fast paced military/police romance, hot police officers, alpha male tendencies, curvy strong women and a situation that forces them to face a future they didn’t envisage. However it just didn’t quite pan out for me.
Marcus is SWAT officer, convinced his lifestyle isn’t suitable for relationships. Sarena is a strong willed ER nurse who would love to find the right man a settle down. The two are neighbours who have been keeping an eye on each other, but neither makes a move, until Marcus walks up to Sarena and tells her he’s going to sleep with her and she says OK. There is no build up or flirting, it’s literally the first conversation they have.
I just didn’t feel any building up of a relationship with these two characters, they went from instant sexual attraction, to ‘willing to die for the other’ in a matter of a couple of dates.
The book almost felt like it was in two parts. The first being an erotic romance, the second an action romance and I would have loved to have seen more of a merge.
I enjoyed the action element to the story and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into it, but the romance (or lack of romance), just fell flat to me.
The duel narration was good and really helped to move between the duel POV. I’d gladly listen to either again.

Red Coat by Isobella Dunn is quite an engrossing romantic suspense. The story is emotive, with intrigue, a little mystery, drama, and more. Sara has worked really hard to leave her past behind her. She works as a social worker who works within the foster care system as a way of ensuring other children don’t have to endure what she did. But when Rachel is brought into the agency for running away again, things take a dramatic turn. Sara can’t help but see herself in Rachel and wants to help her, but things get complicated and Sara finds herself face to face with the past she left behind, with danger closing in. Well worth the read!

This was my first book by this author but it certainly won’t be my last! I thoroughly enjoyed this read from start to finish.
Forbidden Wolf is the first book in the Shadow Chronicles and what a great start it is. This story is intense, dramatic, unexpected, entertaining, and truly captivating. I love how the author managed to create dynamic characters with the perfect amount of drama and intrigue. I felt highly entertained the whole way through!
I can’t wait to continue this series ASAP and if you’re looking for your next paranormal read look no further this is the one for you!

Hot, steamy, unorthodox romance writing at its finest! Sarah, single mother of 2, enjoys her life as a free spirit with no strings attached relationships. This story is HOT. Full of lustful, descriptive sex scenes, it is not for the faint at heart! Mountains Wanted explores relationships from all angles, including friends/boyfriends/friends with benefits/and everything in between. I could relate completely with Sarah as she dealt with her relationship with her teenage daughter! Great character development, great conversations. Would have rated it a 5/5 but there were some scenes that felt unnecessary to the flow of the story and could have been eliminated.

Where to even start with Forbidden Wolf? What a fantastic novel! Tasha, a lonely vampire, meets Levi, a strong, powerful lycan, by accident one night. This story is amazing! Beautifully written, I was rooting for Levi and Tasha from the first time they met–their relationship, the undeniable pull they feel for each other, their stolen moments together. The evil this face is creepy, dark, twisted, and unique. C.R. Robertson knows how to write! I am really looking forward to the second novel to see how it all plays out.

I loved this audiobook. It was a fun and entertaining story to listen to. The narrator brought the characters to life which made the story easy to listen to. This is my first audible story by this author, I can’t wait to listen to more from this series. This is the first book in this series and what a first book it was. The characters are strong and connectable. I enjoyed listening to Krystina and Alexander’s story. Their growth and chemistry are off the charts. Krystina was great without having a man by her side until she fell and he picked her up. She didn’t expect to look up and see him helping her up. What happens from here you will have to listen to the audio to find out. What will fate have in store for them? I highly recommend this audiobook.

Let me first start off by saying, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK! I’m familiar with this author’s work as I have read previous books and the first book in this series. She doesn’t disappoint me with her writing. Her books are exactly what I prefer to read. She truly writes about teenage angst and drama that I believe all teens go through. While I am not the intended audience for this type of book I think that anyone, especially females of all ages, will be able to reminisce on their school years and put themselves into the shoes of these characters. Except for the fact that not all of us lived next door to a star. But if you are like me you have probably dreamed and wondered what it would be like to do so. And if this is any indication of what it would be like, I would love to live it. Please do yourself a favor and pick this book up to read. It’s quick, fast paced and you won’t be able to put it down.

This story is one that I normally wouldn’t read, but it kept my attention for the most part. Tamara finds a stray dog, or what she thinks is a dog, but he’s a wolf. She names him Nightfall. Nightfall is very protective of her and eventually she is able to communicate telepathically with him. What she doesn’t know is, she has met him before when he was in human form. Their relationship grows and she finally learns the truth.
The dynamic duo is back at it with the next book in the Sons of Sindicato series. This time we follow the love story of Mila and Dane who are both Mafia royalty. Again Johns and Jesus exceeded all my expectations with this book. Dare I say, but I might JUST A LITTLE love these characters more than Braelynn and Seth. The character development is absolutely amazing and the storyline is great with the will they won’t they feel. I always say that there’s nothing wrong with a little hate sex (wink)

Moonlit Kiss : A Venice Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley
Once again Ms.McKinley delivers a book that I throughly enjoyed from start to finish. The setting of Venice is perfect and I think Italy is higher on my list of places to visit one day.
I had such a hard time putting this book down and dropped my kindle on my face a few times wanting to get a little further and see what is going to happen and I wasn’t disappointed.
I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.

I’ll See You Again is the fourth book in the Reigning Hearts Series by K.G Fletcher . Although this is a standalone I do however recommend reading/listening to this series in order as they are all wonderfully written/narrated and some of the characters are recurring . Fair warning be prepared to grab a kleenex because there are parts where you will find yourself tearing up to the point of balling, you be happ the sad to the point of mad. This author has a way of bringing her characters to life and makes you feel all the feels. This story literally wrecked my heart as I was taken on one heck of a emotional rollercoaster ride. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again I never realized Listening to books would be as relaxing as it is. I’ve become a huge fan. This is Mac and Nicky’s story. These two have extreme chemistry between them and the love between them with leave you almost breathless. You guys I’m not going to give anything away but I will say this is a absolute must listen/read and you won’t be disappointed. I look forward to reading/listening to more from this Author

Brink of Denial (Sons of Sindicato Book 2) By Sonya Jesus and Cam Johns 5 out of 5 stars
Where do I even start? This book was un-put-downable and I don’t even care that that is not a word! The book started of with a bang and I didn’t want to put it down since. I forced myself to read only in the evenings close to bedtime to prevent myself from neglecting my adult duties but I can’t say my sleep didn’t suffer as a result. I struggle to form words to explain what it is I liked about Brink of Denial. It was just one of those books that played out like a good movie in my head. The writing paints such a vivid picture and there is no shortage of action or excitement through the entire novel. I would 100 percent recommend this book, and look forward to reading more from these authors.

The Earl’s Scandalous Wager by Wareeze Woodson is an historical romance in every sense of the word. Wareeze tells her story that is written in the way in which they spoke in that time period, which certainly takes some time to get the hang of the flow of it. The writing is very descriptive, and it was easy to see the life of our characters as they unfolded. I did enjoy their banter and found it fun. Although I found it easy to be offended for Emily and her misfortunes and her brother, I wanted to smack some sense into him, but I am guessing these things happened back in the day. I think that is why historical is not my favourite genre, seeing the way women were treated back then frustrates me. HOWEVER, that does NOT mean I did not like this story it is just my ruminations on events at that time.
Her Blackened Rose is the third book in the Blackened Series by Isra Sravenheart. It is about a very, very dark witch who wants what she wants and will not take no for an answer. As I said with the other two books, Isra has given us an original concept that makes the story intriguing, and I must say I like this book better than I did the first two. This dark fairy-tale has a lot going on and not everyone is as they seem. Throw in some action and magic, lies and revenge and of course witches there is something for fantasy lovers who love a little dark story.

What an interesting book! Imagine you have lost your beloved dog. You’re already sad and in comes this gorgeous gray wolf. He’s beautiful. He has eyes like the night fall. He’s pretty well-behaved with a bit of an hornery phase. Yet he just keeps hanging around your porch all the time. Wouldn’t you take him in? I would. Tamara has a thing for strays so she takes in this gorgeous wolf. This wolf brings back a man from the past into Tamara’s life in ways she never dreamed of. He has a way of bring out her self-confidence and courage that have been beaten down due to crappy relationships. Josh is a shapeshifter that is trying to live his life while trying to be Tamar’s dog and show her that she’s his soul mate. He’s running ragged yet he loves her from the start and stays with her through it all. The author has done a really terrific job of blending the characters in such a way that you feel like you are watching a relationship grow that could blossom forever. She even through a few jerks in there.
Wes “Alamo” Crockett has just taken over the training center in Leesburg, Virginia. After a body is found in a cabin on the edge of Chase Securitys newly acquired property, Wes is assigned to a case of kidnapped and missing women. His first meeting with Eleanor, his new Director of Equine-Assisted Therapy, was not under very good circumstances. He finds himself drawn to this kind hearted woman as he spends time helping to care for her after her accident. He can tell she has a history as she seems to be afraid of him, which is the last thing he wants. Can he gain her trust? And in the meantime will he be able to figure out who is responsible for the missing women?
Eleanor West has a not so great history. The self image she has of herself isn’t a good one due to things that have happened in her past. When she is hurt in an accident on her way to the first day at her new job she meets Wes. She doesn’t realize he is her boss and finds herself attracted to him. Since Wes is helping to care for her rumors have started amongst her colleagues that she is getting preferential treatment. She has many secrets that she doesn’t want out in the open, but Wes makes her feel comfortable enough to want to share. Will she be able to trust him with her deepest darkest secrets?
I love this series! Every story has its own unique twist and they all have been able to find their happiness in the end. These books are always hard to put down once you have started them. Kudos to the author on another great book.

I absolutely LOVE the characters in this book. I can imagine that this is how the mafia would be run, the legal clean side to the dirty money and blood on their hands. Mila is a mafia daughter who even though she loves a son of Sindicato, she wants something different for her life. She finds that walking away from the life she doesn’t think she wants, years later leads her back to that exact life to help protect her. This book was filled with strong women that don’t just want to sit on the sidelines or take a back seat. I was rooting for Mila from the first page. Dane can be stubborn, but will he let her get away a second time. With surprises and secrets at every turn, this was a great exciting read.

I’ll See You Again is the fourth book in the Reigning Hearts series by K. G. Fletcher. This is my new favorite book of the series. I was looking forward to Nicky’s story, and Mac is just the sweetest Rockstar I’ve read/ listened to. The books in this series can be read as standalone, but they are all great books and they have recurring characters. K.G. Really knocked it out of the ark with this one. I was on emotion overload, but I just had to keep listening to see how it would end. Brilliantly.
This book is narrated by Kelly Genelle Fletcher. She does a good job of bringing the characters to life, and the emotional roller coaster had me in disbelief at times. I look forward to listening to many more book by Ms Fletcher.

I’m really loving this series. What really fascinates me is that the main female character can have more than one mate. I loved the ending for this one. It was very fast paced and easy to read. I’m excited to see what Everly Taylor comes up with next.

Stepping Stone is the second book in the Stone Series: A Billionaire Romance by Dakota Willink. I have to say I think this book was even better than the first. The character growth and the continuing story had me on my listening late into the night. You really need to read this series in order to get the full effect. Krystine and Alexander continue to feel out their relationship. They have amazing chemistry and witty dialogue. I’m really looking forward to listening to the next book in the series.
This book was narrated by Lacy Laurel and Jeffrey Kafer, same as the first book. They do a wonderful job with the narration, bringing the characters to life. The voices are smooth and easy to listen to.

Dirty Tactics by Peyton Banks is an action packed and steamy romance. The story literally drops you in the middle of the action from the start. We first meet Marcas in a SWAT raid.
The girl next door uses every opportunity to take a peak at her hot neighbor and wants to get closer to him. Sarena gets her chance when he walks into the Emergency Room where she works.
She stands her ground and puts him in his place, which he isn’t used to. Unfortunately, her connection to him puts a target on her back. How far is Marcas willing to go to save Sarena? Will it be enough, or will he lose everything he has worked for?

I was instantly intrigued by the description, and chose to give Jeremy Full of Grace a shot. I mean, a teenage boy, being pregnant, what in the world?! I had to see how that works… It is the first book I have read by Greta Cribbs, and I couldn’t put it down! Granted, its a short book, but still. It is a weird twist of religion and sci-fi/dystopian, which is such an odd combination, but it worked. The main theme surrounds Catholicism, but it isn’t preachy, and most of the references are common knowledge. I love that she writes about “Them” and “Before” in a context that we understand something is going on, but don’t know all the details. The characters were great. The book is written bouncing around, point of view and timeframe, which was a little weird, but once you have a feeling for the timeline, it is easy enough to follow. I was a little disappointed not all my questions were answered, but it was still a good story. I don’t want to give away and spoilers, so I will leave it at that.

Blue Summer Part Two by Everly Taylor was a really good read! This book picks up right where the first one left. This was a cute, quick read, but definitely not a cute book for children, as this book contains several adult scenes. Now in my review of the first book, I said the Zayed reminded me of the blue people in the Avatar movie. When I was looking through other reviews, I saw someone mention they reminded them of the Smurfs. After reading this sequel I can definitely agree with that. The characters have so many attributes of the smurfs (including the mushrooms) that I honestly have no idea how I didn’t see that reading the first book! This is like an adult surf novel! I think I liked this part better than the first one, there was a lot more happening and it seemed more exciting to me than the first one. The ending was very abrupt to me, so I’m kind of hoping Taylor writes a third part just so I can see how Lillie is adjusting to the life of a Zayed! Overall though I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series, and especially this book!

I was not sure what to expect at first when I started reading this book. I was pleasantly surprised, this book is really good! If anyone knows me, they know I love YA books. I really enjoyed this YA/Sci Fi story. To me, it is a story I never read anything like before. Meeting Andy Brand at the beginning just has my heart. Andy is kidnapped and questions arise as to why? Who would kidnap a boy in high school? You learn quickly nothing is as it seams, and there is definitely many twists, lies and turns in this story. Sara, finding her latest foster placement no longer safe, decides that it is time for a new one. She has been warned that if she attempted to run away again, she would have to be moved. Hoping the threats are real, that is exactly what she does. Luckily, the threats are true but that means leaving her best friends behind.
Ten years later, Sara is now a Social Worker working for a foster care placement agency. Sara specializes in hard to reach children. Rachael is brought to the agency because she has run away, again. Sara is called in on her day off to try to talk to Rachael to find out why she doesn’t want to remain in her current foster placement. Rachael finds Sara different from all the other adults in her life that just make decisions for her, never really listening. Sara earns Rachael’s trust enough for Rachael to disclose the real reasons she doesn’t want to return to the foster home, a reason Sara knows all too well.
Rachael’s former foster father is on the run because Rachael talked. Sara promised that he would not find her but when he calls the group home she was placed, Rachael decides to make it so he won’t find her by disappearing in the middle of the night. Rachael runs to the one place Sara doesn’t want to return, the same town Sara abandoned years before. When Sara arrives in town to retrieve Rachael, she discovers that her former best friend, Colin, is the town sheriff. Now Sara must rely on Colin to keep Rachael safe from looming danger.
Can Sara and Colin rekindle the friendship and possibly find love? Is Sara the family that Rachael is longing for? Will the danger follow them?
This book contains triggering material for some. Graphic descriptions of domestic assault, child abuse, and attempted rape throughout the book may make this a difficult read for some. Inaccurate portrayals of the foster care system and its processes ruined the overall enjoyment of the story this reviewer. Some of these inaccuracies were key parts of the plotline causing the rhythm and flow to be off. This is not the first story I have read by Ms. Dunn. Where I do enjoy her storytelling ability, this one was a bit of a disappointment due to this and some other minor issues in character and plot development. I look forward to reading her next story.

I gotta say, I’m surprised. I picked up this title on a recommendation by another person, and was a bit skeptical. I don’t usually read books centred around religion, but this was honestly… great. Extremely well-written and compelling, the characters are interesting and real, and the book moved at a great pace. I was moved to get to the end to have my questions answered – how did this boy get here? how can he even give birth? What does this all mean?
The mixing in of different sections told by other characters of the past was an interesting detail and made the story much more complex and meaningful. I appreciated that the book didn’t preach to me or tell me what to believe, it just let the story speak for itself, and left the characters to answer their questions for themselves, and come to their own conclusions. There are many great things I could say about this book and the writing, but I would recommend you buy it, you won’t be sorry!

This is the third book in the Antipodes series. I would recommend reading the first two books. Just as before, this book is set in post-apocalyptic times with romance, drama, tension, and dystopian story tones throughout. The story is moving and has me thinking about my friendships and if they are solid or if they are just there on the surface. The characters are what make this book so good. I really felt connected through this story. I can relate to the hardships of friends. There are friends who will lay down their life for you, and there are those who would not even take a paper cut for you. Cam is finding out right now about her friends. Will she defend her friends and take the heat or will she find out she is all alone with no one standing behind her? I highly recommend this book. Don’t be surprised if you start looking at your friends a little differently after reading this book.

Next Door To A Star by Krysten Lyndsay Hager is my first book by this author, as well as the first book in its series. This book represents exactly what I remember my early teenage years to be like. The unsure feelings about where and how you fit into the world. The struggles involved with making and keeping friends, fitting in at school, and crushing on boys. It is definitely age appropriate for the preteen or older audiences. This story has a few ups and a few downs and was really an unputdownable read. I’m anxiously looking forward to reading book 2! 5 stars!
