Snatching Dianna (Feisty Lawyers #1) by Seelie Kay was a fast pace, witty, entertaining read that, had me hooked from start to finish.
Not my first read by this author or for these MC’s. They appeared in Kinky Briefs, Cinque; and I’ve been waiting to read more about them. These two are started to become a fav of mine, and I need to go back a read more from this author. Not only that, there’s two other important characters that I need to go read about; the Chief of police and his wife. They’re something else, and I need to know their kinky story.
Fast moving and despite the dark and heart wrenching plot, I had fun reading this book. I will say this because it is a fast quick read there isn’t much overall world building and or heavy details. But, I didn’t mind that because of the race against time plot, the witty interactions, solid connections and having Dianna such a strong, defiant character; you’re not stuck on the what the surrounds looked like. You’re engroes into the story, you’re on the edge of your seat hoping that Janet and Cade can get to her in time, not just her but the others as well.
Overall this book is worth your time and energy. It has a pull to it that keeps you glued to the pages and the suspense is thick and heart pounding. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval that, you will have this book read in one sitting.
This is a paranormal-shifters story that I enjoyed from beginning to end. This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed how I was pulled into the story and felt that I was there with the characters. I liked Derek and Annabelle. They had great chemistry and I also I felt compassion for them. They are both angry people, not only angry with others that hurt them but with each other. This is their story and if they will get a second chance at a life together. I highly recommend reading it.

Snatching Dianna (Feisty Lawyers Book 1) By: Seelie Kay 5 out of 5 stars
The story Snatching Dianna (Feisty Lawyers Book 1) by Seelie Kay is a book that I loved reading. There is both mystery and suspense. It had me wondering what was going to happen next. I was turning pages to find out. It is the story about a law student, Dianna Murphy, who fails to show to a planned event with her roommate. When Law Professor Janet MacLachlan, a former covert agent, is alerted she begins looking for clues as to if Dianna was taken. One clue sends her and others looking into a slave trafficking cartel. Will Dianna be found, or will she disappear without a trace? Read this book to find out. This is a story in which I felt like I was right there with the characters. Trying to put the clues together is like putting together a puzzle. I enjoyed reading the interactions between Janet, her husband Cade and the other additional characters. The characters work well together and are determined to find the truth of what has happened to Dianna. There are also some characters that have their own agenda and whose actions I would call evil. Don’t miss out reading a wonderful story that will hook you in and not let go until the last page.

This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed how it is a creative, easy flowing story that left me on the edge of my seat at times. This story is about a kidnapping on campus but there could be more going on. What happens when Janet and her husband Agent Cade turn up more then they were expecting during their investigation? I liked both of these two, they are connectable and I enjoyed their chemistry together made the story flow. I highly recommend reading their story.

Degrees of Control (A Prestian Series Book 3) by Via Mari
5 Stars
This is the 3rd part of this series and I loved it as much as the first. There was a lot going on and there were more than a few times I was like noooooo this can not happen, and there were more than a few times I wanted to smack Katarina upside her head..I couldn’t believe a couple things she did in this book, and if she had just listened half the time things would have gone much smoother. In saying that there were a few times I loved her taking control and then her poor security detail…LOL
Like I said there is a lot going on in this story but it all leads to one person and I’m hoping that book 4 will finally get this person figured out and out of the lives of Katarina and Chase and everyone else close to them. I can honestly say I’ve never seen people fly so much before in my life. Everytime I turned the page they were boarding this jet or this helicopter so I don’t have a book hangover, I have severe jet lag lol
I’m moving right on to book 4 as soon as I’m done writing this review. I love this series and I love this author, by now I’ve usually lost interest in a normal series but this one has me totally hooked and is as fresh as the beginning which just shows the talent this author has and her words flow so effortlessly.

Beats of the Heart (Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series Book 1) By: Charli B. Rose 5 out of 5 stars
The story Beats of the Heart (Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series Book 1) by Charlie B. Rose is a new adult romance book. I loved reading this story. It had me hooked from the very beginning. It is a book that had my emotions going up and down with the characters. I loved reading about Izzy and Dawson. These two have been best friends since they were young and have taken the step from friends to lovers. They believe that their hearts beat as one and that their souls fit together. She is his muse. The music flows because her. This book has some very steamy scenes. The chemistry between Izzy and Dawson is red hot and can make the temperature in the room rise. They imagine their future will be together. What will happen when dark clouds roll in and threaten this couple? Read this story to find out. I grew to love the characters of Izzy and Dawson with each chapter that I read. It was wonderful to read how devoted to each other they are. I like how Dawson took Izzy’s feelings into consideration when he made decisions. Being the girlfriend of a someone who is famous must be hard and Izzy does have times where she feels insecure and the doubts creep in. The way that Izzy and Dawson banter back and forth had me with a smile on my face. This book is definitely one I would recommend reading. It is part one of this couple’s story and I look forward to reading the next part.

A Second Chance (Powder River Pack Book 1) By: Brooke May 5 out of 5 stars
The story A Second Chance (Powder River Pack Book 1) by Brooke May is a paranormal romance book. This is a genre that I have always loved reading and this story is a good example of why. The book hooked me in from the very beginning and I couldn’t put it down until I read the ending page. The story had my emotions going up and down and had me wanting the two main characters to get a second chance at love. I loved reading about Derek Sumerland and Annabelle Daniels. These two found love at an early age and then suddenly found themselves apart. Both brokenhearted they went on with their lives however each kept having thoughts of the other and no one else made them feel the same as when they were together. Now Annabelle has come back to Fetterman, Wyoming to assist her estranged father as he is gravely ill. These two still have an attraction and are affected when they see each other. What wasn’t there before is the anger/conflict that they feel. Will Derik and Annabelle get another chance at love? Annabelle has made a wonderful career for herself in the time that she has been gone. Will she be forced to make a choice between that career and love? What does the future hold for Derek and Annabelle? Does it include a happy ending? Read this book to find out. I enjoyed reading about the additional characters, about the part they play in the story and the way they interact with Derek and Annabelle. There are heartbreaking and heartwarming parts to this story. It shows the importance that family and friends play in life. This is an amazing story with wonderful characters. It is the first book in a series and I am looking forward to reading the next one.

Felicity Found (Rogue Series Book 6) by Lara Ward Cosio 5 out of 5 stars Felicity Found is the sixth book in the Rogue Series written by Lara Ward Cosio is an amazing read and Ms. Cosio did an outstanding job portraying Felicity and the rest of the gang. The characters are well written everyday rock stars that have everyday worries like real everyday people. I loved their quirks and the way these characters lay off of each other. Felicity has had great disappointments in life that have been overshadowed by even greater blessings this includes her husband, world-renowned rock guitar god, Conor Quinn, and their two beautiful babies. She knows she is a very fortunate person so, why does everything feel so off? Conor think Felicity an amazing mother. Until he come’s home one night to find her in a rare state. She barely has her head above water but she still makes it all work, despite how she tears herself down over not being perfect. How his he going to fix her can he fix her? I highly recommend this book/series and recommend reading the series in order sso you can follow along with the way Rogue was formed. By Tracy @tracym

Four Stars
I can’t believe how this book took a turn. The no contact the unknown and Izzy’s fear. I couldn’t believe how fast the author grabbed my attention with this story. When I usually read short stories it’s with the knowledge that it won’t pack as much punch as full length books. But I was proved wrong. You could feel Izzy’s feelings at the end coming off the page. I felt her tears and her sadness. I know there was some shady mess happening to Dawson. I don’t believe he threw away their relationship. I’m ready for the next I hate being left with unanswered questions when I read. But I will most definitely be coming back for more.

Dangerous ground was a thrilling and emotional rollercoaster of a 5 star read. This is Tina and Chase’s story and I loved it. Once I started I didn’t want to stop.
When the sterilization law goes in effect things start to take a twist. Chase and his family is what society deems as low class. There were some scenes that just broke my heart for Chase. Who are these people that think they can make these kind of choices for people no matter what class they are?
Tina witnesses some things that happen to Chase and is determined to make changes. There is so much going on in this read, your head will be spinning. There is quite a bit of darkness also.
Alice Rachel does a great job with her writing you feel everything the characters do. My emotions were all over the place with the laws and regulations. I have to admit that some things were difficult for me to read because of some of the issues. Beware that there may be some scenes that can cause triggers for some. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. I had some I didn’t care for and others I loved. The ending has left me wanting more. You will be done before you know it. If you’re looking for a great series, I suggest 1-clicking and get reading.

Hope’s Decree by Angela McPherson a four-star read that will give you hope. This is the first novel in the Fated series and what a start to the series. Even though the story has its roots in Greek mythology it is still a compelling and easy to read. Trinity is someone you can get into and understand her struggle. This was a great story and the author has a great descriptive writing style and I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

Nathaniel Dragon Hearts Book One By Carole Mortimer
5-Stars
This was such a wonderful and steamy read. Chloe, on search for a story, discovers a hidden castle. She is asked to leave by handsome and mouth watering Nathaniel. After attempting to find out more about the castle she is caught again on the property but is taken to the dungeon after Deryk, Nathaniel’s brother, finds Nathaniel trying to let her leave again. He was angry when he let her go the first time so he was determined to keep her and question her. What Nathaniel didn’t expect was for her to end up being his mate. The two can’t stay away from each other but there is more to being a mate than they realize. I could not put this book down. I can’t wait to read the next in the series. I absolutely loved the characters, romance, and the different scenery. Chloe had a spitfire attitude that goes perfect with red heads. Nathaniel was very chivalrous and kind. I definitely recommend this novel!

Seelie Kay’s Snatching Dianna is the first book in the Feisty Lawyers series. This was a thrilling and suspenseful read. Seelie Kay doesn’t wait to pull the reader into the story, but instantly starts with the right lead ins to draw attention to not only the characters, but also the environment. As I was reading this story, from the details provided, I could vividly picture the scenes – it was amazingly done. Each of the characters in this story were well described and portrayed, despite the limited pages within this book. The story was fast paced, but not rushed. I felt that this was a great introduction into the Feisty Lawyers series and after the sequence of events that occurred in in Snatching Dianna, I cannot wait to see what the author delivers next.

Mouse Trapped is the ninth book in Satan’s Devils MC Series by Manda Mellett, and the third book I have read in this series. While it is not my favourite of the three, the book is still very well written. Even though this book is ninth in this series it can certainly be read as a standalone. If you are expecting the usual love story forget that. Mouse by no means is a mouse, but he is one very hot Native American who is also the club’s computer guy. I did enjoy getting to know Mouse he has a multitude of sides that will have you loving this guy. We get to meet Mariana, I felt that both Mouse and Mariana had such strong characters, which made reading their story more enjoyable. Thank you, Manda, for another good read.

Nathaniel is the first book in Carole Mortimer’s paranormal romance series Dragon Hearts. Carole Mortimer is a new writer for me but Nathaniel will not be the last book I read! I am looking forward to reading the other books in Dragon Hearts series and I think I need also venture out and dig into other series as I absolutely loved her writing! Nathaniel is exciting paranormal romance taking place in Wales!!!! At a castle called Pendragon!!!! There is mystery, secrets, passion… I loved how the writer pulled from different legends and setting the stage for some more goodness to come! I loved how the heroine of the story – Chloe – is not a meek submissive blushing maid but a smart mouthed wench who can connect dots and can stand up to the fiercest of alphas! I can only imagine what kind of rides the other seven brothers will take us! AND they have been already published so I can just pick up copies and spend the dreary weekends with some hot and steamy alpha dragon shifters!
This is a paranormal shifter story. I think the idea behind this book is original; shifters dealing with a zombie apocalypse. The story starts off full of action which quickly grabbed my attention. It was interesting how the author explained the way the apocalypse started. The rest of the book continues with hormone induced, lust filled pages. A mention of the zombies an after thought. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed every moment of them especially the scene between Havana, Mason and Liam. It was panty wetting. I just feel if the author had blended the two storylines a little more, it would have been better.
There are characters that were spoken alit about that we don’t meet and the book ends with the story being incomplete. This book is a terrific setup for the rest of the series. I’m interested in finally meeting Nathan and seeing what happens with Tasha in the next part.

Snatching Dianna is the first book in the Feisty Lawyers series from Seelie Kay. I have read some of her other erotic stories in her Kinky Briefs series so I was super excited to see what would lie between the covers of this sexy new cover from her. I knew the writing would for sure be hot and captivating at the least and well Seelie Kay delivered all that and so much more.
Janet MacLachlan used to be a covert agent that is being called upon to help look for a missing girl, Dianna. All the clues are pointing in the direction of a slave trafficking cartel. Will they be able to actually prove that she was taken by them or will she just be another girl gone missing without a trace?
The action and adventure in the book totally balance the tad of romance and steam perfectly. I was never bored, always on the edge of my seat. I can’t wait to find out what will come next in the series!

A Second Chance (Powder River Pack Book 1) by Brooke May is a highly emotional, raw, paranormal shifter romance; that tells the tale of the struggle of lost love. It’s a tale of trying to build trust and friendship, in order to get that second chance.
My first read by this author and with a genre I love, so needless to say I had had my expectations high. I’m glad to say I wasn’t led astray and am very happy with this read.
This book isn’t your normal light hearted shifter romance. It had a looming sadness, that’s made apparent in the first chapter. That tone seems to stay as the story moved on, and we meet our MC’s. It was a nice feature and it makes you get into their minds sets, connecting you; right away you know this isn’t going to be a happy-go-lucky read. This story is about two broken souls, who have been hurt by love, are angry at it and collide. So there is a lot of ups, down, fighting and of course, raw frustering emotions.
This book isn’t only about the strong feels, it’s richly detailed and has a smooth easy writing style, that pulls you into this gem. This book is worth it and it gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval. So I hope you give this feel kicker a read, you won’t regret it.

This is a second chance-friends to lovers story that pulled at my heartstrings. I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It is my first book by this author, I enjoyed how creative the story was and the characters were relatable. The emotional roller coaster ride Izzy and Dawson took me on kept me turning pages until the end. He is a rocker who has been in love with her since childhood. They certainly give long distance relationship a new name. I highly recommend reading their story.

A Second Chance by Brooke May: Powder River Pack Book One
5-Stars
Anna and Derek are meant to be mates but when her parents’ divorce, she is forced to move away with her mother at sixteen. Separated from each other they both believe that the other moved on. Ten years later as her father is starting to die, Anna returns to settle his accounts. She knows she will run into Derek.
Derek has been heartbroken for ten years since Anna left. It completely changed him. He hates that he let her go and has been unable to connect with his wolf since she left. When he finds out that her father is near death he begins to prepare for her returning, believing whole heartedly that she has moved on.
I loved following the reunion of these two wonderful characters. There were so many emotions present in this novel. I hated that the two lost all that time together. I found that the storyline was easy to read and get lost in. I also really enjoyed Spence’s character. He was Anna’s best friend.

A great read about married life. Kris and Nicole are happily married with a kid. But Nicole works hard and is always kept busy by her boss Darren. Can they keep in married bliss or will work life drive them apart? A great read. Well developed plot. Well developed characters like Nicole working hard to achieve her dreams or Kris trying to be a good father or Nikita as a sweet little kid curious about the world. I loved the novels exploration of the ups and downs of married life which was fun to read. I also loved the use of small space settings in the house and office which was brilliant for every day life and also to increase tensions between Kris and Nicole in a confined space. The flashbacks worked well with the plot but were often abrupt to the narrative of the present. The only issue I would raise is that there were too many long sentences that made it difficult to read which could be resolved with a variety of sentence lengths. Overall, a great read and I would give it four stars.

A Second Chance by Brooke May is the first book in the Powder River Pack series. It is a great story about fighting for what you want or learning to live with the hole it leaves behind. This is a new author to me and I was excited to get into this book. The blurb promised an angsty tale and that is definitely what you get. I was drawn into Derek so easily. It was so easy to feel what he was going through. And it was easy to understands Annabelle’s decision over her new life and her old. The story had good pace that flowed from start to end. There was never a point where my attention wandered or I thought there was too much going on. An enjoyable book, I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

Hope’s Deceit (The Fated Book 2) By: Angela McPherson 5 out of 5 stars
The story Hope’s Deceit (The Fated Book 2) by Angela McPherson is a YA/fantasy/romance book. It is a story that I was looking forward to reading since I finished the first book. I found myself not wanting to put it down until I had finished the last page. This story has Trinity’s 18th birthday drawing near. The danger from Mella and her Rogues is of constant concern and she must keep up her training. In this story the feelings that both Trinity and Blain feel for each other start out strong. They are constantly together. Then something changes. The connection between has been lost or stopped. What has happened? There are revelations uncovered and truths that are revealed. Questions are raised and need to be answered. Where has Mella gone to and what is she planning next? How many more abilities will Trinity manifest? Will Trinity be able to control her abilities? Will the connection between Trinity and Blain be felt by them again? If chaos breaks out who will survive? Read this book to find out. There are some twists and turns to this story. Trinity is becoming faster and stronger. With what she is going through she is one brave girl. I loved reading about her and Blain. Most of the additional characters that are in this story were brought forward from the first book. This is a series that I believe should be read in order to fully understand what is going on. Don’t miss out on the wonderful second story in this series that will have you turning pages to find out what happens next. Highly recommended story and series.

Caught in Make-Believe by Sharleen Scott is the third book in the Caught Series and follows the story of Jace and Samantha.
The story is following Jace who is an investigated Journalist but something happens while he is researching for a story that lands him in trouble. As he is in hiding he stumbles upon a town where he encounters a woman who he wants to get to know more, but with his past will he be able to pursue happiness without getting her involved in his history.
Samantha owns a bakery and is a successful businesswoman but has always been unlucky in love, her last relationship ended pretty badly as she is about to give men the big heave ho until Jace walks in and throws all caution out of the window.
The story is full of twists and turns and the chemistry between these two characters jumps of the page. The writing is brilliant and draws you into the story from the first chapter, with the twists and turns, added in some suspense will have you frantically turning the pages to see what happens next. This is the first book in this series I have read and I didn’t feel like I had missed anything from the previous books in this serious. I would recommend this book and I will be looking at reading the first two books to see what I have missed.

Climbing the Walls is book one in the Hart and Cole series by Sacha T. Y. Fortuné. New author for me, so I was instantly intrigued. First impression of Nicole is that she is a master manipulator, and will go to great lengths to get her way. She wants her way and she wants it’s now!! She is a passive aggressive character, one who maneuvers Kris to do her bidding and uses any means necessary. I grew to adore her and wanting to be her. Despite feeling frustrated at times, this story is incredibly well written. It is blatantly evident in the artestry with words, the effort, the emotion and soul that went into each character, building the foundations for a mindblowing series.
Kris and Nicole struggled with the trials of marriage, family and careers. Things were said in the heat of the moment, things were left unsaid. I was an honest and insightful look into a modern marriage, where they try to have it all and the battle to maintain the normal. The author masterfully and tastefully painted a picture of reality, intensity, attraction, and so much more. Many elements made up this tale, coming together maybe not perfectly, but beautifully. Kris was endearing and made my heart sing. Every time I thought of him my heart would race, as he was charisma personified. He just appealed to me on a superior level. Climbing the Walls was brilliant and a book that leaves a memorable impression. 5 stars.

Claiming Her Mates: Book One is the first book in A Paranormal Shifter Romance Series by Dia Cole. This is quite an original take on the shifter romance story, as it incorporates Lykos shifters (wolves), military experimentation, a worldwide flu pandemic- with a zombie apocalypse. There is action aplenty in this steamy reverse harem/ménage story. There’s danger, drama, action, adventure, tension, suspense, some mystery, intrigue, sizzle, passion, and romance. Havana James (Vana) has been on her own since she was 16 years old- doing whatever she needed to do to get by. She’s beautiful, seductive, independent and sassy. Her past could have made her hard and cold, but instead, she’s resilient, compassionate and caring. She’s at work one night when some sexy strangers swoop in and demand she leave with them. She mistakenly thinks they’re the police- but soon realises that she’s wrong. In the process of trying to sneak away from them, she places herself in a very deadly situation- but luckily for her the strangers are there to save the day. They finally convince her that they are there to make sure she stays safe and to take her out of harms way. She is a little wary, but as danger mounts, she’s really left with little choice but to let them ‘help’. As the four of them spend time together, it is apparent that there is a strong attraction between them, a powerful force that is hard to deny. But not everyone is pleased to have her around. The tension mounts and sparks fly. What happens when their sizzling chemistry bubbles over and their passions ignite? Will they make it to safety? Who are these ‘men’ and why are they helping her? What happens when secrets are revealed- will Vana be strong enough to handle the truth? This book started off a little slow, and for the first half of the book the story lacked the depth that I was hoping for….. But the second half of the story really got really interesting and really made up for the slower start. The characters were really great, especially throughout the second half of the book. They each had their own unique personalities, quirks, and flaws- which made them realistic, believable, and likeable. I must admit that I really didn’t take to Gabriel for the first half of the book- he was difficult, prickly, and cold. But when the story evolved, I got an understanding of what made him the way he was, my heart ached for what he’d been through. So, my feelings for him did a complete flip from hate to love over the course of the book. Mason is such a sweetheart, the kind and nurturing one of the group- he made my heart go pitter-patter! Liam is a sexy giant of a man- he had me at 7 foot bearded protector, and I loved his cheeky, flirty nature, too (swoon). The story is told from these four points of view, which gives the reader a well-balanced/complete perspective of what’s happening and what they’re all going through. I loved the unique take on the whole shifter romance, I thought it was very clever of Ms. Cole. I enjoyed the story a lot, especially the second half. This is the first part though- as the story is set to continue in in part two, which I can’t wait to get my hands on. There’s also a prequel coming out soon, which I am excited to read, too!

Dangerous Ground is a part of the Underground Series written by Alice Rachel and should be read before Breaking Ground. This is Tina and Chases story. There is a trigger warning at the beginning of the story warning those who may not be able to handle certain situations. With that being said I thought it was a great story with intense emotions and characters. There are a few pages to help you get reacquainted with characters, places, etc. Dangerous Grounds story is told like all the others in the series with strong characters, strong emotions and strong storylines.

Truly Unfortunate written by C.A. King. This is definitely not my first book by C.A. King and it won’t be my last each book has a unique spin and twist that you love and hate as the story goes. Truly Unfortunate is no different, as the story progresses you think you have it figured out, you for your own case and motive and then boom something else happens and you have to rethink everything. Then the end comes and you realize you were right and wrong the entire time but you can’t wait to see if there is another book and how it goes.

Mouse Trapped by Manda Mellett is book 9 in the Satan’s Devil’s Series. This is Mouses story and while you see him come and go from the previous stories there’s never much to him he’s the man behind the curtain for the MC. In Mouse Trapped you get a more in depth look at who mouse is and his part in the series. Marianna is a strong woman and while she has a few break downs she puts on a good front when she needs to. This story is about their weird relationship and the fear of deportation. There are ups and downs as you getting the story and the previous books come together even more while reading this.
