Can’t Forget is the second book in the Solum series by Colleen S. Meyers and it just as action packed as Must Remember (book 1). This book has a lot of bumps and curves. I was reading along and then out of nowhere there was a sharp turn that I did not see coming at me. Beta (Elizabeth) is on a mission. She wants to go after E’Mani, the one who kidnapped her. Beta reminds me of a strong willed young version of myself. I love the books were I can relate to the main character and feel like we are one together. What will the future holds? I personally cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

Can’t Forget is the second book in the Solum series by Colleen S. Myers. It is a new adult, science fiction story with action, adventure, aliens, magic, revenge, romance, and drama. This follows on from book #1, so I really recommend reading the first book before starting on this one, in order to appreciate the story better. I very much enjoyed reading about Bata and Marin. There were again some great twists and turns in the story that made it all the more exciting to read. Love how the author’s imaginative world that lead her to created this amazing series. I really feel like I can visualise the setting at all times. A great second book in this series that I highly recommend! I look forward to reading more from this author again.

This is a story about a woman whose marriages crumbles and feels like life is falling apart. The journey she goes on to find herself is truly emotional. Lia is a great, strong character who has a determination to find who she is. I loved watching her growth throughout this story and I felt I was right there with her. I wanted to yell a couple of times at her like what are you doing but that is expected when you move from old to new. This is a must read story and I highly recommend it.

Must remember is Book 1 in the Solum series from author Colleen S. Myers. Must Remember literally held me drawn since the first page and held me there until the end. Colleen S. Myers created an incredibly vivid, mentally visual read. As I was reading Must remember I couldn’t help but picture the whole planet in my mind while reading it, the look and descriptions of each individual character that Beta comes into contact with. All of it makes for an incredible sci-fi, alien romance novel filled with action, adventure, mystery, suspense, romance and most important an incredible plot. Each of the characters are making their own impressions on Beta and the way acts around them, but you can’t help but love Finn, Marin and Ute, but each of these characters has their own story to be told and I loved reading their interactions, feelings and ideas of why Beta is there. Along with the brilliant connections, we cannot forget the magic that is weaved through the story and the history of it. Overall this was an incredible read that I loved. I cannot wait to dive into this world again in Book 2 – to see what continues with Beta’s story.

My first thought after being totally worthless for the 3 or so hours it took me to read this book was…This is one of the best books I have EVER read. I know nothing about art and truly went into this book thinking it sounds interesting and a break from what I have been reading would be awesome. Well… WOW…..Not really sure how to word this review so that this author gets the justice deserved for her talent in putting together words and having me so hung over right now I cant even hardly think.
She seriously grabbed me at page 1 and when I say I could not put this down I mean I was walking around with my kindle practically stuck to my nose and I couldn’t read it fast enough which angered me because I loved it so much I wanted to slow down and I couldn’t. Karina…what can I say about her…she was so different than most leading ladies and is seriously one of my new favorites. Besides the serious nature of what was going on she had me absolutely laughing out loud in some parts. I love how her story played out and what I loved also was how the relationships all seemed so real and as far as twists and turns, there were a few but I think the biggest twists were that everything played out totally opposite of what I thought they would and I wish I could explain that but I can’t because it would give too much away…Let me also say that my next favorite character in this book was Molly and you will see why when you read it, and you must read it!
I was so excited to see that Book 2 is coming soon and trust me I will be one of the first in line to have this book and I already have this authors page up so I can check out everything else she has written…
I already want to read this again!! Simply perfect!!

Say When by Bree Kraemer a five-star read that will melt your heart. This is the ninth book in the Cedarville Novels and each book invites you into a group of people that you feel such a bond with you miss them between stories. This time it’s the turn of Dani and Patrick, people who have played a small part in the groups before but are now being pulled fully into the fold. Dani was a complex and compelling character, I kept wondering why she wasn’t able to speak to men, why she felt she couldn’t be a fully productive member of society and the author did a great job of showing us why and helping us like she helps Dani. Patrick and his obsession with cupcakes still make me smile and blush a little when I think of frosting. Those cupcakes were so well written about you could almost taste the cupcakes on your tongue. Overall a very nicely don’t visit to Cedarville, I cant wait to go back and visit again.

Forgetting Ophelia: A Novel By: Julie C. Gardner 5 out of 5 stars
The story Forgetting Ophelia: A Novel by Julie C. Gardner is an amazing book that I loved reading. It hooked me in from the very beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until I had read the final page. It tells a story about heartbreak and betrayal however it also has parts where there is hope. I loved the character of Lia. She is a woman who has a handsome husband and a teaching job that she excels at. She is a beautiful woman who is looking forward to the honeymoon that she and Jake have plans for. Then in one evening, her world is shattered by Jake walking out. This story is a very emotional one and my emotions went up and down all the time. I found Lia to be a character that I could empathize with, what she feels and goes through. While a lot of the pain and raw emotions that she experiences has to do with being left by Jake, she also struggles with other issues. With each chapter that I read, I found myself loving Lia’s character more and more. I wanted her to find happiness. How will Lia find happiness? Is there a chance that she will take Jake back, or will she move on with her life? Read this book to find out. There are many other additional characters that you are introduced to in this story. They range from good friends with Lia, family, and some that she meets along her journey. I enjoyed the interactions and conversations between them and Lia. This is a book that I got so caught up in that I was surprised when I found myself at the end. It is an amazing story with wonderful characters. Highly recommended reading.

Caught in Make-Believe (The Caught Series Book 3) by Sharleen Scott is a suspense romance and the first book I have read by this author. The references to things in the past and characters lead me to believe that the books in this series should be read in order and I will be going back to read them. Having said that I really enjoyed and was fully engrossed in this mysterious and and suspense of the story of Sam and Jace. There is action and drama that will have you intrigued and hanging on every word and trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle that Sharleen had weaved so well. The story is told in several POV’s which gives the story that much more richness. Samantha’s clock is ticking but she has yet to meet a man that can fill her expectations, that is until one closed off and secretive stranger enters her world. Jace, has been in hiding and on the move after tragedy struck. Now he has come home and just when he thinks that maybe, just maybe he can open his heart again, he finds that not only himself but everyone he knows, is once again in danger of his past. This is a page turner that should not to be missed.

Who by Megan Mitcham is the first book I have read by this author. To begin with I thought this book started off a bit slow, but I can tell you by them time I had finished the first chapter I had changed my mind. I also loved the writing style of this author and doubt if it will be the last book, I read by her. I can I can honestly say if you love a book that is action packed, full of intrigue and somewhat hot passion and awesome strong female character, then you are going to enjoy this book. This story will also have you on the edge of your seat with just about every turn of the page.

My Tragic Life by Necie Navone is the second book in the My Life series and tragic is the best way to describe Alessandra’s life.
Alessandra is still the Princess of the family but is growing up quickly and learning more about the family business when what she really wants is to get out and have an opportunity to live her life her way and not having to answer to anyone.
The next book is the end of this series and I can’t wait to see what happens to not just Alessandra, but Analisa, Nonna and especially her Uncle Lou and Luigi.

Must Be Crazy by Deborah Garland is the third book in the Darling Cove series and I think it is my favorite as of this moment. I laughed, cried and hurt for Skye.
Skye dealt with so much in this book and a long hidden secret comes to light. The love she gives her family and they showed her is how its supposed to be, especially in the dark times.
Edward is a great man. He does so much for the community all while raising his son, Julian alone. I loved getting to know him and his story. Julian stole my heart in so many ways. As a Mom I just wanted to make things better for him and cuddle with him.
This is a series I almost didnt start, I’m so glad I didn’t make that mistake.

Degrees of Acceptance (A Prestian Series Book 2) By Via Mari Wow this book was amazing!! I was hoping this one would be as good as the first one and I’m glad that I wasn’t disappointed. I do recommend that you read the first book in this series before this one because this one picks up where that one leaves off. I love that Kate and Chase’s story is continuing, I don’t ever want it to end! This story is full of action, mystery and romantic moments. This book has all the things I want in a good book. This is a prequel in the Confectioner Chronicles. This book tells the tale how Hale joined the Confectioner’s guild. This book has adventure, triumphants, despair, love, and a bit of cockiness and luck! It is short, but is excellent at telling how Hale’s story started without feeling rushed or stretch out too much. I haven’t read the other books in this series yet, but I can say that I really enjoyed this story. I can’t wait to see more of this series!

This was a first read for me by this author and I now cannot wait for the rest of this series. Tru, is in a mission and the last thing she expects is Will, her ex husband, to be in her way. I was intrigued to find out what exactly happened between these two as I read the story happening. There were many moving parts and as soon as you ask yourself “wait did I miss something?” You’re reading the answer in the next few pages. “My Tragic Life” is the second part of the prequel to the “Brothers of Camelot” series by Necie Navone. I have to say it is a bit of departure from the a-typical one shot prequel that you are used to seeing for a series. This one gives us an up close personal coming of age story about Alessandra, the ‘Princess’ of the Canzano family. This is setting us up for the Brothers of Camelot. I would HIGHLY recommend that these are all read in order. I will admit that at first, and when I finished the first book, I wasn’t sure if I was a big fan that this was going to be a three part prequel. I really liked the first book in the Brothers Camelot and I kind of just want to get back to those stories. As it is that promises to be a long series in and of itself. But I am playing along and giving it a go. I do believe that I am a bit more of a fan after this one though. This brought all the feels to the table much as the first in the Brothers of Camelot did, and I am glad that I didn’t give up after the first book.
All that said, this one shows us more of Alessandra, this time more as she has grown into her teenage years. She still is forced to face things that are more for adults and I wanted to shield her from them. I found myself torn apart as a mother and tearing up several times throughout the story. She has to make a lot of decisions that she should never have to make, but when you are faced with choosing family and keeping them safe or the alternative, you generally are forced to make some very difficult choices. I can’t wait to find out what the next installment will bring, and where we will find Alessandra in the end. Most of all, I want to see a light at the end of the tunnel for her. I have been trying a lot of new authors lately. It is something I like to do towards the end of the year so I can build up my TBR reads for the following year, because you know we all need longer ones right? Lol. Bella Settarra was one of those I picked up as a newbie for me. I was drawn in by the cover and decided to give it a go. Don’t be alarmed by the fact that it is a fifth in a series. I had no problems reading it out of order, and it can be read as a standalone. I did enjoy it, so I will be reading the rest of them at some point in the near future.
Savannah’s Saviors was a contemporary romance with a touch of western to it. It had the sexy cowboys and the small country town backdrop. Savannah Edgerton was thrown out of her home. Things there were not the best and her past is anything but pretty. She has nowhere to go and ultimately is found wandering freezing and in terrible shape by the handsome Tom and Greg. They feel for her and are also attracted to her so decide to help her out.
Savannah doesn’t exactly know what to make of the men. She wants to trust them, but not with all of her secrets. The attraction grows, and it grows between all three. Which leads to some very steamy and thrilling scenes. I’d recommend a tall glass of something cold, and a fan nearby… What will happen when the secrets begin to unravel? Can they be the saviors that Savannah needs? Will she let them in?

Carrie Pulkinen’s Bound by Blood is the third book in the Crescent City Wolf Pack series. This paranormal romances features secondary characters that have appeared earlier in the series: Bryce and Alexis. I like how this story is slightly different with the female being the “wolf” of the story. However, that doesn’t mean Bryce doesn’t carry a strong, typical male presence here – he certainly does. The tug and pull of these two is ever present and it makes reading the story intriguing and entertaining. Each of the books within this series have been strong on their own, but together they create a wonderful series. I do strongly recommend reading each book in sequential order to get the most from this series.

Elegantly Denim: An Elegant Prelude, by Tee Smith, is the introduction to the Elegant series. This contemporary romantic suspense sets the stage for the series in such a fashion that is intriguing. This novella will leave questions of where the series will take the reader, but it provides the peak into where the series will look to start. The character personalities were not fully detailed, but appeared flawed, yet beautifully done. After finishing this prequel, I am now deeply curious to see where this author takes me next through the series.

I enjoyed this story and found it to be easy flowing and engaging. This is my first book by this author and I can’t wait for the second book in this series. It took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that left me feeling compassion. This is a story about marriage and the struggles that go along with it. Will marriages survive or will they fall apart? The characters bring life to the story and made me feel as if I was right there with them. I highly recommend reading their story.

This is the first book I have read from Bella Settarra and I absolutely loved it. I loved how the characters had a very unique bond.
Savannah was thrown out of her own home and by the time Greg and Tom found her, she was in rough shape. As she began to heal, she struggled with trusting these two cowboys that saved her. After the situation in which she just lived, it’s completely understandable why she feels this way.
Tom and Greg are definitely alpha males and will do anything to help Savannah heal but soon they both find themselves attracted to her as well as she is to them. As they start to trust one another, the past has decided to rear its ugly head and test the bond between the three.
I loved Miss Settarra’s writing. This is book 5 in the series and it has completely hooked me. I’m definitely going back to read books 1-4.

Who do you trust when you’re put into a unknown environment? Wren has no one and has been an apprentice for four years in a confectioners shop. Her life gets completely turned around when the guild masters come for her. This book was a never ending crazy moment. At every point something was happening. Wren’s life was not her own after tragedy strikes twice. Man I felt bad for her. She really had no one. Then the people she did have turned on her so fast. Burning Night: Where the Ashes of the Past Awaken the Future- by Nikki Broadwell is a wonderful story full of new beginnings, self-discovery, determination, strength, a little romance, some drama, creativity, and so much more. This story is a little bit different from some of the other books of Ms. Broadwells that I have read, so I was quite intrigued by what I might find. But, it surprised me and was much more than I had been expecting- as with all the other books of hers that I’ve read, this one is well written, descriptive, and beautifully detailed. The characters are unique, interesting, and quirky individuals- cleverly crafted to be entirely realistic and believable. The story has some mysteriousness to it, and moments of suspensefulness too- which really added interest that helps to propel the story forward. I really liked meeting Collie and following her on her journey. She was vulnerability, fragility, strength, and determination all rolled into one- and even though she didn’t have it easy, she didn’t give up. She definitely developed and grew over the course of the story, and it was wonderful to watch. Dive in blind and let the author, characters and story, take you on a journey you won’t forget anytime soon. As always, I look forward to more from this talented author!

I found this story to be creative and easy flowing. This story is about light vs darkness. Trinity is a young girl who has the ability to sense emotions from those around her. While she is trying to deal with haunting nightmares, boys, someone is trying to kill her too. I enjoyed her character right along with Blain who brought out the best in her. Their journey is action packed, emotional and sitting on the edge of your seat twists and turns. I highly recommend reading their story.

Sailors Knot by Phoebe Alexander is the fourth book in the Eastern Shore Swingers Series and oh my god I have been waiting for this book as soon as Casey’s character appears in the previous story.
I love this series and this book does not disappoint, after the recent diagnoses Casey is feeling nostalgic and remembers a time when she loved deeply and strong. Gabe and Josh were the loves of her life and because of narrow minded people the relationship is in jeopardy, but Casey is a Fontaine and knows her path in the world and because her life is not quite what her parents want she has her heart broken.
The story also delves into the lives of Paisley and Leah, who have escaped the Eastern Shore as they are having issues with their partners and get to release the difficulties with Casey who shares parts of her life with them while reminiscing the past.
I love the character of Casey she is full of life and sassy with her experiences of life, it was a shame that she has this awful disease and it was great to meet her sister Connie as well. The story-line with Leah was also great and the doubts of a new relationship and children is always a page turner. The writing is brilliant and the story is fast paced, fulfilling and just epic.
This book can be read as a stand alone story but if you read the full series you will get to understand the stories of Paisley and Leah and also understand the family they have developed and the business they run. I would recommend this series to everyone lol.

Say When by Bree Kraemer is book nine of the Cedarville series. I highly suggest reading the series in order. Not only because the series is great and one of my absolute favorites but all the characters from previous books show up and reading the books in order gives you some background info.
We are welcomed back to Cedarville for Dani’s story and boy is it sweet. Dani is downright scared to talk to men outside of a work/school setting. It’s mainly single men she has a problem being around. Color her shocked when she runs into an old crush while dropping cupcakes and pies off for Wes. At first she can’t find her footing but after another encounter, she finds herself really comfortable around Patrick. While her feelings for Patrick bubble to the surface again, she’s sure Patrick doesn’t feel the same way.
Patrick knows Dani needs a friend to help her work through her fear. He can’t help how he feels about her. Patrick’s got his own issues regarding whether or not he and Dani could have a relationship. Will these two work through their issues or are the destined to be friends?
I absolutely love this series and this book is no exception. I love my visits to Cedarville. I feel like the town is part of my home now. I strongly encourage you to read this book and the whole Cedarville series.

Jesse is helping his father out. His mother passed away a few years ago. Jesse’s plan was to get his father back on his feet. Then go back to his real passion. But his father is turning more to the bottle, and not helping himself. Now Jesse has to make a choice, keep the bar open or move on.
Desiree Lafawn has written one of my favorite stories. This story and series is fantastic. I love every one of her characters, and hate some just the same. This starts out just a fun calm read. Romance is in the air, until it’s not. I LOVE this story! Desiree Lafawn has done it again. Her story will draw you in and keep you there. I am looking forward to the next one in this series.
Hard as Steel Book 4 in the Surviving Series written by Virginia Wine. I really this as a standalone. Steel Archer is a difficult yet loyal man. He and his team have accomplished a lot and been through a lot. The chemistry between the characters is hot and cold, as Steel and Nichole figure out what’s going on in their lives as a couple while still maintaining their careers. As FBI Nichole has a lot on her plate and she doesn’t want all of her hard work to go to the back burner. Then there’s Steel who has been through so much then with the surprise of Grace, then Flynn’s feelings it adds new issues. Overall I enjoyed the story and it’s unique storyline.

Bound by Blood is the third novel in the Crescent City Wolf Pack series by Carrie Pulkinen. This is my third novel by this author.
Alex Gentry is a rogue werewolf that doesn’t stay in one spot for too long. She is Macey’s sister that disappeared years ago.
Bryce Samuels had an attracted to Alexis the first time he saw it which didn’t go anywhere but things change when he finds her at the hospital because her boyfriend.
Wanting to help her out her situation, he offers for her to stay at his house which he accepts even though she is reluctant. For Alexis just any a woman, and this just isn’t some common issue he is dealing with. The werewolf community is something he is in the dark about and while trying to protect him, Alexis may find out that she may have to spill her secrets.
I really loved this novel. It was refreshing for the female protagonist to be werewolf and get more backstory on Alexis. She was a mysterious characters from the first book and I was so excited to learn more about her such as fears.
Her relationship with Bryce was very fun to read. Especially with both attracted to each other but not acting on it.
Bryce is also someone I loved, he was such a sweetheart with wanting to help people but he could also be alpha when protecting people he cares about.
I really don’t want to give anything away. It was fast paced read with great characters that make you feel for them.
This is series I highly recommend and can’t wait for the next book in the series. I hope this series never ends.

My Tragic Life by Necie Navone is the second volume in her My Life series that is a prequel to the Brothers of Camelot series. The second book in her Brothers of Camelot series will be the story of Aless and Greyson and My Life series is Aless’ story – I absolutely love that the writer is preparing us for their story so make sure you read everything BEFORE their story is released as I promise you will want to! My Tragic Life picks up 9 months after the shocking events at Aless’ 15th birthday! We follow her here over next 3 years! This next book is where Aless is truly growing up and learning and understanding what the family duties require of her. It tells the story of loyalty, revenge, friendship, loss, heartache and luckily also of hope. I am sure you will also fall further in love with Aless, with her strength, her heart and the combination of strength and softness that she exhibits. The more the writer takes us into the story, the more I fall in love with her writing! I cannot wait for the next steps in this crazy journey she has taken us on!
