Fantastic read – every girl’s dream is to hang out with rock stars right? No, in all seriousness, a very easy book to read, Turn up the Tempo flowed really well with a great mix of characters, the perfect amount of spice and twists that kept you guessing. I haven’t read the previous books in this series and was able to follow along well enough, however am now curious to go back and find out the whole story from the start!

Turn up the Tempo (Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star series, #4) by Charli B. Rose was a great 5 star read. I love Rock Star romance and this one did not disappoint. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
We start with a steamy memory of a one night stand between Brittany and Brooks, a few months later they come face-to-face again. Things get complicated when they are bestman and maid of honor for their best friends. Of course they can’t resist each other and Brooks finds her in the bathroom. And boy was that a steamy and hot scene. Neither one of them wanted more than a one night stand but they can’t stop thinking about each other.
There is all kinds of drama with these two, they both have things going on in their lives. We have ups and downs, steamy moments and so much more. All the secondary characters added a great element to the story. I really liked Brittany and Brooks and would love to see more from them. This book can be read as a standalone. If you like Rock Star romance I guarantee you will love this one. 1-click and get started today.

This is my first book by India Kells. It will not be my last! This is a story that includes action, danger, and romance. It is a book that is entertaining and addictive to read. This is a dark romance suspense book that I loved from beginning to end. Orla is a Chicago reporter who risks going into Chicago’s underworld to learn of a new drug being sold. She also wants to learn more about a Vigilante who is fighting to protect the city. Read to find out what happens when the city’s vigilante swearing to right the wrongs meets the sleuth news reporter who only wants to write the truth and protect the city.

Turn up the Tempo (Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star series, #4)by Charli B. Rose
4 out of 4 stars
Turn up the Tempo is the fourth book in Lyrical Odyssey Rock series written by Ms. Rose and I read the other books in this series also. The plot was awesome and the characters where well written and I love their quirks. The only thing that bother me was it was too slow at times and it took me a few days to read the whole story. This is Brittany and Brooks story they both don’t relationships and they both have a tragic past. It was meant to be a one-night stand. Then months later they meet again at Izzy and Dawson wedding. Brittany cannot understand why she still think about Brooks it was only mean to be one-night and it was months ago. She doesn’t want to have feeling for him because Brooks in a damn Rockstar he will break her hart. Brooks he usually did one night that was all he was good for and all he ever wanted. It kept girls from getting clingy. Now that he had his night, he wanted more than one round he wanted a few rounds and the next morning too. When he left her in the morning that was supposed to be it. Now Brittany is all he thinks about her smile, her laugh, her moans, her touches. So, what is Brooks supposed to do walk away or fight for what he wants? Will brooks break down Brittany walls down? Will they be able to overcome the few obstacles that are thrown their way? Will they over come their pasts and move forward with a relationship? Will they have a happily ever after? You will need to read this story to find out. I do suggest reading all the books in this series in order. Tracy @tracy

How (Stalker Series Book 3) by Megan Mitcham. These books just keep getting better! This one may just be my favorite so far. I love a book that keeps me on the edge of my seat and guessing until the very end. This author knows how to to keep me coming back time and again for more of her amazingly written stories! The characters all pull you in deeper and deeper making you try to savor every single page. Libby is such a strong character that I really felt a connection and I loved every minute of it. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking. Five stars all the way and highly recommended. Can’t wait to see where this author takes readers next!

Forgotten Promise Book two: The Forgotten Trilogy By Virginia Wine 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the story Forgotten Promise Book two: The Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine. It is a book that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is the second story in a trilogy so I would highly suggest reading the books in order to fully understand what is happening. In this book, Nathan and Bryer have declared their love for each other. He has taught her how to trust again. She is his one true love. What will happen when someone from her past shows up? What will Bryer choose, the present, or the past? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. The story includes romance, danger, and manipulation. The man from Bryer’s past, Cash, is manipulative, slimy, and just plain evil. He is a man who is used to getting what he wants. I am rooting for Nathan and Bryer to find happiness. They are characters that I care about what happens to them. Don’t miss out on a wonderful story that has amazing characters. I highly recommend reading it.

I loved this book. This is the second book in this series, it is just as awesome as the first if not better. This author is fast becoming one of my favorites. She has a great imagination and her attention to detail makes you feel as if you are part of the story. I had no problem connecting with the characters. They had great chemistry and really made the story a page turner. Nathan and Bryer thought they had their future settled. They have fought their way through life challenges. But now, the past is coming to the present and it may not be a good thing. Now, Bryer is left with a decision, to live in the past or live for the present and future. Which will she choose? Their twists and turns had me turning pages fast. I highly recommend their story and this author.

This is a great rock star romance with lots of heat. Although book 4 in the ‘Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star’ series, it can be read as a standalone story, however some of the characters do overlap. For Brittany it was a one night stand with a sexy well known rock star, no strings attached and definitely no feelings. For Lyrical Odyssey’s guitarist Brooks it was another one off, one night only encounter with a women, after all he doesn’t like them to get to clingy. However when Brittany and Brook spend a fun night and unusually for Brooks a morning together with plenty of sex involved, neither of them can deny their chemistry, which literally sizzles of the page. Brittany does not believe in love but Brooks can not get Brittany and the night they shared together out of his mind. I loved both the main characters, and their chemistry led to some very hot and steamy scenes between the pair but there was also plenty of romance and some great narrative between the couple. I liked how the book was written from both their point of views which made both the characters come alive more for me. I was happily immersed in Brittany and Brooks story and am keen to read the previous books in the series.

This is a dark romance suspense book that I loved from beginning to end. This is an author that I have read many books from, she continues to impress me with her attention to details in her stories. I was pulled right into this story from the beginning with the characters. I had no problem connecting with them and they made the story feel real. Orla is a reporter that is determined to find out two things: 1. Stop the distribution of a new drug, 2. Find the vigilante who has their own brand of justice. The vigilante and Orla have a couple of things in common, stopping this new drug and each other. She needs to learn to trust him but will she? Is love enough to survive or will secrets take them down? I loved both of these characters and their chemistry is off the charts. They had me turning pages fast as well as the twist and turns you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Turn Up the Tempo (Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series Book 4) by Charli B Rose 4 Stars
This is the first book that I have read in this series unfortunately. It’s really good and I will definitely go back and start at the beginning. It can be read as a stand-alone. There are parts that allude to events in prior books but nothing that will confuse you. This story is about Brittany and Brook.
A year prior they had a one night stand both agreeing that there would be no second time. Where matters of love are concerned, the heart doesn’t care. After Izzy and Dawson’s wedding, they hooked up again. The passion between them skyrocketed and the chemistry flew off the charts. Each has a hard time admitting their feelings and misunderstandings arise. Can they overcome their problems and have a happily ever after?
The writing is good and the story is interesting. I really loved Brittany and Brooks and was rooting for them from the start. Turn Up the Tempo is a very sexy story that will get your blood pumping.

O MG! I SO enjoyed this story!! I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to read this author. The story was deep and fulfilling. The characters are simply wonderful. I love Britt and Brooks. They are uncomfortable with relationships but are all about the one night stand. They have met up in previous stories and I have not read those books. I had no problem following along. Anyway each of these characters are unsure about going forward. I loved following along with their story..each fighting against themselves for their ultimate happiness.
The boys in the band?!? Those guys are like family but have all that sexiness. They seem to have a wonderful dynamic. I can’t wait for Maddox!!

Another good one by Charli B. Rose. As with the previous books I was immediately hooked on the story and needed to find out what would happen. Here we meet Brooks, the bassist for Lyrical Odyssey and Brittany, Izzy’s best friend, who we have met briefly before. I understand why both characters are not into or looking for love at this moment in their lives, due to the many issues each of them are facing but, sometimes you can’t predict when love will hit you. When they have one steamy night together, they both go their separate ways and move on, but neither could stop thinking about that night, and a chance meeting again has their relationship going all different directions. I was extremely happy when Brooks realized that he loved Brittany and wanted to be with her, but the lack of communication between the two, left my heart cracking sometimes. The trials both of them have to face, and their inner demons, it was beautiful to watch them both grow and come to each other. This book can be read as a stand alone but I would recommend the series, as you meet the secondary characters throughout each book. I would highly recommend this book, it has just the right amount of steamy romance, sweet love, heartbreaking moments and drama. I look forward to what comes next.

Turn up the Tempo (Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series Book 4) by Charli B Rose. I loved this book! Its a contemporary romance about Brittany who doesn’t do relationships. She has been so hurt in the past that she just does one night stands. No feelings, no attachments, no emotions. Brooks is a rock star that doesn’t have time for relationships so he doesn’t do anything but hookups. So when Brooks and Brittany meet at a party they go into a one night stand with it being just that, one night. When they see each other at a wedding months later they realize they can’t get the other out of their minds. Was it more than just a hook up? The chemistry between the two is HOT and they fight it with all they have. Miscommunication and emotions lead to tears and fighting the chemistry between them leave them frustrated. Will they be able to get past only hookups to try a relationship with each other. Read Turning up the Tempo to find out!

Night Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 1) By India Kells 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book Night Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 1) by India Kells. It is a story that includes action, danger, and romance. It is a book that is entertaining and highly addictive to read. I love the character of Orla Karlsen. She is a reporter who is intelligent, strong, independent, and a fighter. She is working on a story about a new drug that is about to overtake Chicago. Her second agenda is trying to uncover a person who is dispensing their own type of justice, the Vigilante. The Vigilante is also trying to stop the same new drug from claiming lives. They both have a common goal. They start working together. There is a connection forming between them. They can’t seem to stay away from each other. What does the future hold for them? Read this book to find out. I love that this story has a strong female character who won’t back down and is determined to find the truth about the drug that is coming to Chicago. You can’t help but root for her to succeed. Other characters interact with Orla and the Vigilante and I enjoyed reading about them. Then there are the characters who don’t care who they hurt. Will their plans succeed? This is a story that had me turning pages to find out what happens next and I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

Hansel & Gretel (Down the Rabbit Hole) By Amy Allen (Author), CeeCee Elaine (Author), Jess Bagnall (Author), Lorah Jaiyn (Author), Erin Lee (Author), Rachel Pudsey (Author), Debra Parmley (Author) 5 out of 5 stars
This is a wonderful anthology that has different authors retelling the story of Hansel and Gretel. I loved reading every one of the stories. The authors have done an amazing job of making the characters in each story come alive. I felt like I was right there with them. The stories included deception, danger, and some gave me a scare. I love anthologies because I get to read stories by authors that I am familiar with as well as being introduced to new authors as well. The stories pulled me in and I didn’t want to put them down until I had read the final page. These stories also have emotional and romantic moments. I found this group of stories to be entertaining and intriguing. There were times when I would say to myself “that didn’t just happen, did it?” The authors have done an amazing job of writing their version of Hansel and Gretel. I would highly recommend reading these stories.

Carpe Noctem… To bring justice to this city, a vigilante must seize the night. And sacrifice everything else, including the woman he loves.
When she hears rumors of a new drug about to overtake Chicago, reporter Orla Karlsen is desperate to defend her city and will stop at nothing to halt its distribution, including stepping into Chicago’s underworld. She has a second agenda—to uncover the person dispensing his own brand of justice to those on the wrong side of the law—the Vigilante.
The Vigilante fights to protect the city in darkness and shadows. His latest goal is to track down the suppliers of the new drug and stop them before users start dying, and he targets Orla as a way to get information.
Their common quest will intersect in a fiery showdown and they’ll need to trust each other to untangle a mess of lies, power, and danger. Orla seizes the opportunity to learn more about the man behind the mask and agrees to work with him to bring down those behind the new drug.
Loyalties and ambitions shift though when she realizes he’s not just another criminal, but someone with honor that truly cares for the citizens of Chicago. The connection between them builds into an undeniable sexual need neither of them can fight and despite the danger, they can’t stay away from each other.
Orla is willing to give her body, but when their lives are on the line, Orla fights to gain the trust of the man she’s given her heart to.
Will love be enough to save them both, or will the Vigilante sacrifice Orla to keep his secrets?

Welcome to Down the Rabbit Hole’s retelling of Hansel and Gretel told to you by seven of your favorite authors. Each story will either tantalize, scare, titillate or all of the above in this exciting multi-genre anthology.

The world stopped for one second and I took a breath.
Nathan and Bryer had declared their love,
their hopes and dreams for the future were solidified.
They’d been through many hurdles and conquered them all.
Until the past caught up with them, Cash the smooth-taking lawyer from Austin had always won, and this would be no exception. He had one goal, to tear them apart. With no moral compass, he would go to great lengths to have her again. One more chance to love Bryer.
But Nathan didn’t give up easily, and if it was a fight Cash wanted, a fight he’d get. Nathan knew nothing would break their love; he was certain of it.
But when Bryer was put to the test she had to choose, the past or the future.
And that path was unclear.
Ultimately, would she stand by the man she loved today, or the love from her past?
My love for books all began as a book-blogger, dedicating my time and passion to talented authors, assisting and reviewing the world’s top writers.
A voracious reader myself, and my insatiable appreciation for the book world. I soon discovered my own passion for writing, and knack for storytelling. Writing what I loved to read, the romantic suspense genre was a perfect fit. Dreaming of new ways to tug on my readers heart strings, and creating scorching hot love scenes fed the thrill for inventing new stories.
I had only just begun, and came out of the gate with a blast, delivering an Amazon best-selling Author status with my first book, in 2015, then again with my second series.
Check out my Forgotten Trilogy (two versions: Hot and Steamy or Sweet and Sensual.)

This is the third book in the Hero High Series. Denial and Anger need to be read first. Many more surprises in this book with plenty of action thrown in!! You follow Friday, a student at Hero High, and the school is also in a reality show with the other students. While dystopian, you definitely get real parts while reading, especially with Friday. And that surprised me. This has to be the best in the series so far!! Pick up the first one and read all about her quest for the truth!!!

How by Megan Mitcham is the third book in the stalker series. As with the other books in the series this is a fast paced and exciting novel. The whole way through this book I found myself trying to guess what was happening. It was so exciting to read it felt like I was on the edge of my seat for most of it. This book was so thrilling I just could not put it down and ended up finishing it in one sitting! The story itself is a stand-alone however I think you would benefit from reading the other books in the series so you can get a full comprehension of the characters and their relationships with each other. This is an absolutely brilliant book and one that I would very highly recommend.

Turn Up The Tempo by Charli B Rose a fast-paced four-star read. This is number four in the Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star series but they can be read as stand-alone as I have only read number one and then somehow missed number two and three but I do plan on popping back to read them as this has rejuvenated my need for more music in my life. Brittany and Brooks are just sublime, they have a story that goes on for longer than they planned, but with chemistry like they have you can’t imagine anything else. This is a thrilling read and will keep you hooked, it really does give you the best of all the characters and I will be picking two and three up asap.

5 Star Turn up the Tempo (Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series Book 4) by Charli B Rose
Turn up the Tempo is the fourth book in the Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star series. I loved this book and couldn’t stop reading till I finished. I found myself lost in the pages and at times I was chuckling at the bantering back and forth between them to my emotions being all over the place. Brittany and Brooks, He’s a Rock Star and doesn’t do relationships. She doesn’t do relationships and does one night stand out is not a believer of happy endings. There is definitely a attraction between them and the chemistry is off the charts. Can these two have their happy ending? What does the future look like.? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire series and found this latest installment to exceed my expectations. I love Friday and reading her story. There is so much going on. This is a quick read that has an epic feel to it. Lots to love about this superhero fantasy. It doesn’t dumb things down. It gives you a tangible and relatable heroine to hold on to. I simply adore these books and can’t wait to read more.

Turn Up. The Tempo is the fourth book in the Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series by Charli B. Rose. This book can be read as a standalone, but I would highly recommend that you read the series in order. The books are all wonderfully written and the characters do recur. Ms. Rose has a great flair for having relatable and easy to enjoy characters. Brook and Brittany are both looking for one thing- a one night stand. Both have commitment issues, but they also have some rocking hot chemistry. This book flowed from the very first page. I read it in one sitting and I can’t wait to see what Charli has in store for us next. Review by @sunbarn

I have read a few books from this author and I am now a huge fan. This has turned into one of my favorite series of this year. I absolutely love a good young adult fantasy but this author exceeded my expectations. This is the third book from the Hero High series. You do have to read these books in order or you will be lost in knowing what’s going on. I was excited when I got this book I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. I was addicted to these characters I read this book all the way through.
Friday is now part of the gold team but everything else is falling apart. She still feels like she is being watched and her friendship with Jake is breaking. Friday is now popular and even the film crew is helping her out. She doesn’t want to let Captain Fantastic down either. Friday is getting closer to figuring out who the new Dr. Dangerous is but when she finds out will it crush her dreams? Will Friday fight for what she believes in or will she have to give in?

I enjoyed this romance story. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. It is written with humor and heart. I had no problems connecting with the characters as they brought the story to life for me. Chloe refuses to take no less than the best when it comes to relationships and how she succeeds. The story takes you through her five romance paths. Which one will she choose? Will fate take over and choose for her? This is a great fast paced story that kept me turning pages. I wanted to see which path she would choose and who she ended up with if any. I highly recommend this fun romance book. Find out what happens with Chloe, you won’t regret it.
This is the third book in the Hero High series…and you should definitely read the first two prior to starting this one. This book is a continuation from the second book. Friday is trying to figure out who she is as a superhero…trying to be true to herself while making the producers happy. Her relationship with her best friend is struggling and she doesn’t know why everything around here seems so crazy.
This series is not one I would usually read, as it is not a genre I typically choose, but it has kept me entertained and wanting to find out what happens next. Like the other books, it is a fairly quick read that is full of action. It is worth picking up and reading…and I will definitely be interested in what Mina Chara comes up with next!

I love rock star romance reads and having read another book from this series I was looking forward to more and I wasn’t disappointed at all! Ms Rose sucked me in from the get go and didn’t let me back out until the very end. I loved everything about this book and would love to go back and read it all again (something I very rarely do!!) I loved Brooks and Brittany! I actually thought that Brittany was a really refreshing character, not a needy one she was happy with the one night stand arrangement as well as Brooks was. They had such a great connection and chemistry that I was always secretly hoping they would end up together and get their happily ever after! I loved the banter between them and their story was highly entertaining! I would definitely recommend Turn Up The Tempo to other readers!
