I LOVED this book so much! I have read lots form this author and I love how versatile she is but I have to say I think that this is definitely my favourite form her so far. I fell in love with the characters straight away. Katie was just an amazing character, I loved her so much, she was relatable, I connected with her – she was just a genuinely lovely person to read about and then add in Chase! Perfection the two of them! The way he stepped up and took in his nephew and the relationship that they had was wonderful. I loved every minute of this story and would highly recommend it to others! The narration for the story was wonderful, they both really brought the story to life.

This is the first story I have read by this author and I loved every minute of it. Jordan and Lex’s chemistry jumped off the page and with there history you get the understanding that these two were destiny to become one. I loved the secondary characters in this story as they gave the book another dimension and drawn you in from the first word.
The story was well written and the characters were well developed with always makes a book more interesting to read. I look forward to reading more books by this wonderful author in the future.

I enjoyed reading Ignite My Heart. Being a nanny myself, I can totally relate haha! I liked the 2 main characters along with Ciara. This book is about a woman named Blake who has had nothing but bad luck for as long as she can remember. Her marriage fell apart, her husband decided he wanted a divorce when she could t get pregnant and then married another woman who was pregnant with his baby. Blake was laid off and now she is staying in a dark dilapidated backwoods cottage of a friends for free.
Blake’s brother decides to introduce her to his friend Morgan who is looking for a live-in nanny. At first, Blake gets annoyed and walks out but after getting home to a leak, she decides maybe it’s not such a bad thing after all.
Morgan has big baby mama drama. His daughter is 9 years old and now all of a sudden, Fawn wants to see her daughter and wants custody of her.
Morgan and Blake have so much sexual tension that they try so hard to fight until they can’t anymore. Will Blake just be a nanny with benefits or will Morgan finally show her how much she means to him and have a real relationship with her? This is the first book I’ve read by this author and thought it was a good read.

Loved it! I feel like Aspen is just continually let down by her friends, family and Phoenix. She feels like nobody is there for her and she is alone, but she can’t keep away from Phoenix, they have this pull between them. I hate how he treats her when we all know deep down he cares for her more than he thinks. The ending is a cliff hanger and I’m dying for the next book!!

When she is asked to join the task force they uncover that there is a killer on the loose that is setting up murders to look like suicides, but can they discover who the Priest is and stop them before more murders occurs?
I have read other books by this author before and this series does not disappoint. Winter has the gift of drawing you into the story and creating characters who are flawed but are strong and overcome the issues to get the job down, especially her females characters are full of sassy but also are happy to show the vulnerability.
This story has the twists and turns of a good thriller, with excellent writing and character development. The chemistry between the main characters flew off the page and with the addition of the secondary characters adding to the drama I can’t wait to read the next instalment in this series and get to see Nic and Con’s relationship development more.

Atonement is a romantic thriller with plenty of drama and turns. Centering around Nicolette Rivers, a female sniper that leaves the Marines because of PTSD, this book brings many things to the surface about real emotions and feelings. Nic is called to the scene of a man that is holding his family hostage. The man ends up shooting his wife in front of the kids, and Nic is forced to take him down which triggers her PTSD again. With all of the things going on in her head, she is then paired with Con, the only person who seems to be in her corner. They began investigating a string of suicides that are more than they appear to be and romance begins to blossom. I love that the characters are not perfect without flaws and issues of their own. I do wish there was more of a clear explanation on how or why the PTSD started, or what happened to cause the departure. I also was disappointed that the killer was very easy for me to figure out early on, but the character development and story saved the day on that. This is the first book in The McIntire series, so I am looking forward to seeing where the story leads next, and this is definitely worth the read.

Being stuck together on a cabin with awful weather outside ms not much else to do could lead to steamy moments without real steam I know that sounds confusing but you’ll get it when you read this and once back in reality both have a hard time forgetting each other and will they find they way to each other !?

I had the wrong person pegged for a long time. Then some of Lacey’s moves were unexpected. Overall, a good story worth the read.

This book pulled me in with the cover, and after reading the synopsis I knew without a doubt I had to read it.
Mia and Mitch are childhood friends who end up going separate ways and eventually find their way back into one another’s life. So much has happened with each of them since the last time they spoke. Mia is a widow trying to restart her life and Mitch is an engaged fire fighter who still has a soft spot for Mia.
I enjoyed this book and found myself hoping something bad would happen to a certain person. Some people just suck and this person was one of those people.
Ms. Lindell weaves an enjoyable story and I appreciate that. Would definitely read other books by her in the future.

I went into this book thinking that it was going to be more of a “leave the shoes on” type of book and it was most definitely not.
While it is a good story, and I did enjoy it…there were a few times the plot threw me off because it didn’t match earlier context.
Mia was not the stiletto wearing heroine I thought she would be based on the title and blurb. She was a younger widow trying to figure out where she fit into this world. She’d lost herself somewhere along her journey.
Mitch was a stronger male hero, but they danced around one another so much that when you finally think there is going to be some spice, it’s more like a bell pepper and not even a jalapeño.
Granny, though…while a secondary character…she’s the one who kept the story going. She’s the one I identified with most because I could see and hear her in my head as she reminded me of some of my aunties. Granny was a gem.
Please don’t get me wrong, this was a good book…it could use a tweak here and there. I *believe* this is the author’s first novel and for that she gets all the stars…she stepped out of a comfort zone and put herself out there in romancelandia which can be a brutal place. It was a good story…just wasn’t what I was expecting based on the title. And hey, I am used to reading bully romance. This was a clean, contemporary romance book.

Liam’s protector instincts take over even though he typically is weary of the rich, after Teresa starts having serious accidents. I did read the first book in the series and would recommend doing the same. While the story focuses mostly on Liam and Teresa, knowing the backstory is very helpful.

The first thing that caught my attention was the cover of this book! It’s so cute and I absolutely ADORE it. Which I can say the same for the actual story. I enjoy YA books! They’re some of my favorite reads. There’s a bit of drama and angst and that’s something that’s just intriguing to me. A lot of the teen drama that’s going on, is something that I can relate too. So maybe that’s why I enjoyed this book so much as well. It was a rollercoaster of emotions but if you can make me actually FEEL while I read, that’s phenomenal. I want to cry, get angry and be hurt. I want to feel what these characters feel and it did that for me. I really enjoyed this!

This is a wonderful sweet second chance small town romance that I loved every minute listening to.

I enjoyed this contemporary romance. I liked how there was a mystery to is as well which kept me turning the pages to see what happens next. I loved the fact that Mia and Mitch had been friends for years but neither admitted their feelings until it was to late. Mia is now widowed and Mitch is set to marry Lacey. However the spark and chemistry between Mia and Mitch is so strong neither of them can deny it. But there is Lacey to think about and she is not prepared to let her man to without a fight and she doesn’t care who gets hurt in the process. What follows is a story of lies, secrets, manipulation, jealously and a love that has been denied for years. Will Mia and Mitch finally get their happy ever after? What does Lacey have planned to put a stop to it even starting? Jealousy is a horrible emotion and we see just how far a Lacey will go to keep the man she wants. I did enjoy this story. Mia always puts across how Lacey is so much better than her which I get as a self conscious person myself however when Lacey starts to fight dirty i wish Mia would have fought back a bit harder and shown some strength.
This book took me a bit to get into but once I was into it, I was hooked. It does start a little slow but it picked up and I didn’t look back. It did start flowing easily and it became a very easy quick read. It is written from the leading females point of view. There is no switching, which worked in this book; but I do like to have both points of view. The chapters have titles so you get to ponder what they mean for that chapter. The betrayal and scheming in this story is really what got me hooked. I love a good smack down as you will. I love seeing nasty characters fall. lol. The things that Mia goes through is a lot for any one person and it does draw you in to see what else she is going to have go deal with and how she is going to handle it. There is humor in this book as well which is needed when everything keeps happening. Like I said earlier, it does start out slow but picks up and you won’t want to put it down. I have to be honest and admit I wasn’t as connected to this story or its characters as much as I had hoped I would be when I first started reading it BUT that does not mean that you won’t be and I still recommend you reading it for yourself. Mitch and Mia navigate through a lot of lies and secrets to get to their happy ending and the twists and turns created by those lies will keep you intrigued I am sure.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the second book in the Olympic Peninsula series says WATCH THIS! Liam and Teresa are both a handful on their own but when you throw them together watch out. It is very rare that the second book rivals the first but I must admit I think I like Teresa and Liam’s story better than Joe and Ali from book one. You should read these in order as they do carry on from book one and Joe and Ali are very prominent in this second book. I am eagerly awaiting the 3rd book…. I have read the blurb and let’s just say I can’t hardly wait!

Love and Stilettos was a sweet story. Well written by the author as well as. For me it started off slow which made getting into it a little difficult. However it was worth sticking it out. So don’t let that assessment deter you, you may feel differently. Mia and Mitch spent June together every year while growing up. That is till Mia stopped coming to Kentucky. The best of friends during that time, one never disclosed to the other the idea of stepping out of the friendzone. It’s been over a decade and Mia is now a widow and a permanent resident of Kentucky. Just one problem Mitch, though she’s now shy around, is engaged. So she uses that knowledge to stay away. Essentially the same thing he did for her when she was married. These two are stubborn. Not going after what they want. Feeling that as long as the other is happy, they will be happy. Reality they are losing themselves in the process. What will it take to remove the blinds? Will they ever put their own wants and needs first? That and so many more questions come to mind as you navigate this story. The author gives you a reason to root for them. Despite the turmoil lurking. Nothing is ever smooth sailing which Mia & Mitch find out first hand now they are back in each other’s lives. We’ve all had that one friend that we can’t imagine our life without. But for how many of you was that friend the love of your life as well? Digest that question and jump in, because I’m sure if you made it this far into this post you can relate to this book and the last few things I’ve said.
Through the roller coaster of emotions, the reader is taken on a ride in high school. There is being the target of bullies, intimidation, and cruelty that many have found themselves in at school. Kids are cruel sometimes. The authors did a good job of bringing the reader into the emotions of the characters.

He helps cover up the issues she is facing while searching for The Priest and offers so much support and strength as she spirals from her PTSD. The two of them together deal with thrills, romance, danger, suspense, chemistry…
While it’s pretty clear from early on who the killer is, and there are a lot of things unexplained, I enjoyed the world building, relationships and chemistry, and how much I learned about PTSD and how misunderstood it really is. Looking forward to watching these worlds and relationships grow and expand.

I’m a sucker for a great young adult story, and this one definitely didn’t disappoint. The story starts off as you would expect, an awkward, young teenage girl falls in love with the weird boy – both unpopular and lean on each other for love and acceptance. Then Mina, the young girl, learns a hard lesson many of us have endures; separation, loneliness, and heartbreak. She moves through these tribulations like a champ and her mother changes their whole world when she marries into money and moves, ultimately giving Mina a new chance at a new school with a new crowd, the popular kind. As fate would have it though, Wes comes back into her life many years later… but he was on the other side of this coin. He continued to grow up poor, in the foster system, and definitely not popular. When he shows up, Mina is faced with her past and who she used to be. Ultimately, as expected in a YA, this story ends positively and leaves you wanting more from these authors!

I adored this book. First in the series and started with a bang. It was gripping, twisty, and I was completely enthralled. Such a well balanced read with characters you can’t help but love I consumed this one. Such a great promise for what’s to come in the series that’s for certain! I really enjoy this type or style of novel and always feel it lacks in chemistry but atonement delivered and kept on giving!

Isla Vaughn is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine! She delivers, yet again, with Book 5 in the Hidden Valley Elite Series, Cruel Hate. This book follows Aspen and Phoenix’s story as they navigate their physical need for each other while finding it difficult to find common ground on anything else. Throw a pregnancy into the mix and this story has it all; angst, sports, fake relationship, and plenty of drama! The world building is wonderful and more solidly connected than some of the earlier books in the series. I feel like this one flows a little better and was less rushed. Isla Vaughn creates such perfectly imperfect characters that the reader can’t help but feel invested in. You can’t help but hope for a happy ending. Speaking of endings, Cruel Hate definitely ends in a cliffhanger!

I loved this YA Romance story that gives me all the feels that I love about reading….. romance, drama, angst, changes, grace…this story of Mina and Wes was fantastic.
Can you know when you are young if you truly know who your soulmate could be? The feelings between Mina and Wes share this…..growing up Mina was bullied at school for thrift store clothing and rumors about her mom and growing up poor….Wes enters the same school where Mina attends and 5th grade year turned better when Mina met Wes. Being inseparable for 2 years, Mina and Wes had each other…but then Wes leaves the school with no warning, leaving Mina broken hearted. Five years pass, Mina at a new school, new last name and new outlook……everyone looking to her as the Queen Bee…until Wes comes back into her life. At first, Mina is determined that no one knows where she came from, thinking Wes may spill her past…but Mina has her eyes wide open when Wes truly sees who she is….Wes struggles with his past as well and easily pushes and pulls Mina…but will Wes and Mina fine their HEA after being apart for so long and secrets that they keep?

I love a good second chance romance. Was a quick and easy read and I loved the characters and story. There’s some twists and turns and I loved every bit of it. Kept my attention the entire time where I simply couldn’t put it down. Finished it in one sitting! Story simply pulled me in and I was so focused and turning the pages because I just had to know what happens next.
This is a fantastic rock and roll story. It is angsty at its best and filled with flawed well written characters. I really felt that Julie Archer thought of everything when it came to developing Jordan and Alexis. This is a second chance romance and Julie Archer did a fantastic job of portraying the baggage that comes with a second connection. The characters and their issues felt so real. I really just wanted to become a part of the story. I absolutely loved Jordan and Alexis and I definitely was sad when this story came to an end! I definitely recommend picking this one up!
