Obedience (Ties That Bind Book 1) Audiobook by Liza Snow – Review by M Policicchio

I am ready to fall in line and obey Chandler’s commands!  Daaaaaaannnnnngggg!!  This book is on fire.  My ears are still warm and I finished hours ago.  I am so frazzled about where the book ended.  How could he do that?

There are so many unanswered questions.  So much I wanna know.  I don’t care if this series is 2 or 20 books, I am wrapped up just like Cassandra in the silks.  I need to know.  How involved is her uncle?  What is actually in the bag that the thief wanted?  Will Chandler believe Cassandra when she tells him the truth?  They were so close to having that conversation before things went crazy.  Will Jean get away from  and away with everything?  Will Chandler and Cassandra make a new life together and walk away from his family?

Beautifully and sensually written.  The way Cassandra describes the feeling of soaring, falling, and being in the silks is amazing.  Not sure if the experience would have been different if I read it versus listened, but the book is a feast for the senses.  The description of colors, smells, tastes and so much add to the delight of reading this amazing thriller!!

I can only hope that the next one is as delicious, fantastic, and pleasurable as this one.

Obedience (Ties That Bind Book 1) Audiobook by Liza Snow – Review by Sunday Barnaby

Obedience (Book 1 in the Ties that Bind series) by Lisa Snow

Narrated by Rapunzaroo, Daniel Zbel, Isabel Salazar, Lisa Graham and Pippa Ryder

This book is high energy, terrorizing plots, really intriguing cast of characters rolled into one amazing audiobook. Cassie and Chandler have all the chemistry, but each are hiding horrific secrets. This story is definitely in my top ten audiobooks of all time. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.  You really need to listen to this book!

The cast of narrators really made this book come to life. Awesome sound effects also! Definitely Five + STARS!!!!

Obedience (Ties That Bind Book 1) Audiobook by Liza Snow – Review by Lorralei Hoerner

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Intriguing story…enjoyable with romance, danger, drama, shibari, angst between Chandler and Cassie with an age gap (which I love)…I am already looking forward to book 2.

After Cassie suffers the unthinkable when losing her parents, she grows up knowing she wants to be a silk aerialist going to a prestigious school to learn from the best. Little did Cassie know she meets
Chandler Moreau and all she wants to do not only learn from him but also be with him.

Chandler is part of the Moreau Academy and highly affluential. With a nagging injury and also going through a divorce…. His focus is all about Cassie and taking her under his wing. This takes a turn when Chandler introduces Cassie to shibari… and the intense sizzle between them is undeniable.

With both Cassie and Chandler having these dark pasts that threaten them at every turn…can they overcome and build any relationship?

Great audiobook, great storyline and narrators to the story… cannot wait to see what happens next.

I’ll Love You Tomorrow (Trading Heartbeats Trilogy Book 3) by Julie Navickas – Review by Angelina Frazzini

I'll Love You Tomorrow (The Trading Heartbeats Trilogy, Book #3)I’ll Love You Tomorrow by Julie Navickas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book three of the series. These can be read as a standalone but honestly, they’re all so good you should just start at the beginning.

Lauren knew from the moment she met Mitch he was going to be the one for her. Was she a little young to know that? Maybe. But that doesn’t change the fact that they did in fact get married. As with most things, the shine wore off. The routine of marriage and working started getting in the way. Lauren doesn’t understand why Mitch seems so distant from her but she’s got her restaurant to pour all her energy into. Will this be the last straw for their marriage or will they be able to rebuild?

I really enjoyed this book. There was a lot of emotion and up and downs that I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what would happen with Lauren and Mitch. I finished this book so quick! I was sucked in! It’s so well written you immediately feel like you have a stake in what happens to these characters. I highly recommend!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the second book in the series and I would highly recommend reading them in order. This was a great follow up to the first book and it took no time to re-connect with Jace and Cyrus. They were just as strong characters in this book as the first and I loved watching their development progress even further as the story went on.
The story was a great follow on. It was more emotional than I expected it would be but I think that added to it. I really enjoyed reading this story and I am looking forward to seeing what else this author has in store.

I was thoroughly amazed at the writing in this book. It was so fascinating how the author was able to weave two worlds together in this amazing tale. A world where magic, fae, vampires, suspense, action, passion, love exists and the real world were amazing put together. The characters in this story it was hard not to fall in love and care for what they both have been thou. Connor a vampire that was turned against his will, with so much resentment and hatred, falls in love with a girl that was locked way to keep her safe. Connor does everything on his power to product her as she learns about the world she was locked away from. I was very intrigued with this book and absolutely loved it. This book kept me invested right from the beginning, it’s a page turner for sure, and I couldn’t stop till it was the end. I Recommend this book if you enjoy fantasy and intriguing read.

This is the second book in the Star- Crossed Celestials Duet series. I personally would highly recommend reading these books in order, so you get the true feel for the story and the character arcs within them. This particular story is a MM twist on Romeo and Juliet. It is filled with the forbidden romance we know well, the parts that hit me were the emotions and inner torment for the characters.

“All I wanted was to be near you, FOREVER,” Kyle

When I first saw him, I loved him. He became my everything, my true north. But both of us are broken. The trauma from our past is bigger than our love. He pushed me away when I needed him most. Our love was an affliction that I may never find the cure for.

“Every time I look at you, I remember what happened that night,” Lyle

I’m the reason why he almost died that night. If it wasn’t for…no, I’m too afraid to say it. The memory is too fresh. I’m not worthy of him. Perhaps I’m like my father, after all. Why do we hurt those we love the most? This affliction called love is painful and I’m the one who brings him the most pain, but I can’t stay away because he is my drug of choice.

The Innovator (WaterFyre Rising Book 3) by Nadia Han – Review by Beverly Finnie

The Innovator (WaterFyre Rising Book 3)The Innovator by Nadia Han
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love this series! Book 3 did not disappoint! The Innovator made me intrigued of what’s to come. There’s been drama, action, and romance in all the books so far, but it’s starting to peak in book 3. The author wrote a wonderful story about the romance of 2 people, but also the collective danger lurking in the wings for all the characters throughout these books.
Book 3 is Grayson and Natalie’s story. Which definitely didn’t start off on the best foot. They argued and got under each other’s skin, at the same time those arguments made them more interested in the other.
Natalie is in Providence trying to find out why her father died and why he left her a building. Under an alias she gets a job at the Department of Public Works and Parks to see if she can dig up any info she can on The Prism. Not that it led her to anything but Grayson.
Grayson is trying to get his Three Point Park Project off the ground. One problem he needs to get his hands on The Prism building. The other problem is a beautiful blonde(Natalie) who just gets under his skin but he loves to argue with.
It’s a constant game of cat and mouse between these two. Until a bet is placed between them. That bet goes hand and hand with their attraction to one another. But what happens when they end up at The Fortress together. A getaway retreat where they are the only two occupying the space.
Do they succumb to their desires?
What happens when Natalie is threatened by her ex? Does Grayson come to the rescue?
What about the never ending threats to Grayson and his friends?
They saw something when they were teenagers that could threaten their lives and of those they love even now. Can Natalie and Grayson weather that storm?
So much going on and so many questions that come to mind. I’ll reiterate that the author wrote a wonderful story. A story that could be read as a standalone novel because of the romance, however it’s not recommended due to the drama and action. These books are all connected. Each one may focus on a different set of characters but it also focuses on the group of guys as a whole. You will have so many more questions if you don’t start at the beginning. So it’s time. You need to either start this series, trust me you won’t regret it. Or it’s time to jump into book 3 because you read books 1 & 2. The decision is yours!

Obedience (Ties That Bind Book 1) by Liza Snow – Review by Shannen Kern

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Obedience gripped me from the first page and never let go! I absolutely loved every bit of this adventure, and I’m planning on listening to the audiobook for an immersive experience. Trust me, after you read it, you will want all the different variations you can get. There is plenty of tension, especially in the first half of the book, but there is plenty of suspense and steam as well. Cassandra grew up watching and wanting a master aerialist named Chandler. What she didn’t know was that she would get the chance to fly with him…among other things. Chandler was always looking for someone he could relate to and teach his passion of performing acrobatics in the circus. When he finds exactly that in Cassandra, it takes him by surprise when he falls so deeply for her. Will they bend with the pressure, or will they break from their dark history? I can’t believe I have to wait another 6 months for book two because I am fiending for it already! I highly recommend picking this up and reading (or listening!) because it is absolutely amazing!

I swear this amazingly talented author just gets better and better with every book written. I truly couldn’t put this down because I had to know what was going to happen but then of course at the end I was sad to say goodbye! I highly recommend reading the entire trilogy to fully understand and enjoy all the characters and every element of the storyline.

Obedience (Ties That Bind Book 1) by Liza Snow – Review by Tara Johnson Barnes

ObedienceObedience by Liza Snow
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cassandra has wanted to perform with Cirque de Lys ever since she was a child and first saw her idol Chandler performing his aerialist routine. From that moment she vowed that she would do whatever it took to be a silk aerialist and join the circus. When Cassandra’s dreams come true, and Chandler becomes her mentor she realizes that she cannot live without him. Chandler soon realizes that Cassandra means more to him than just being one of his students. On the surface it seems that fate has brought them together but what they do not realize is that something far more sinister is at play. Their lives have become intertwined, and they both have demons from their past that they are trying to escape from. Can they shake the shackles of their dark pasts to have a bright future?

This is an interesting story about romance between a student and her mentor. The borderline obsession that Cassandra had for her childhood idol Chandler turns from admiration to passion, then to romance, and ultimately to love. The age gap between Cassandra and Chandler was interesting and did not seem plausible until many years had passed. The book took an interesting plot twist when it was discovered that there were sinister elements at play, and they were brought together for a reason. Danger and suspense lurk under the surface as both Cassandra and Chandler try to escape demons from their past. It seems they both have secrets they have been hiding from the other that could put their lives in danger. The book ends on a cliff-hanger which sets you up for the second book in the series. I cannot wait to follow the further adventures of Cassandra and Chandler to see what deep dark secrets they are hiding.

What a Ride! This is an amazing story! I really enjoy paranormal/fantasy stories as the author create different worlds, lasting friendships and the creatures are marvelous. In her the author did a stand up job giving me all three. Connor and Niamh are the stars and we basically follow them on their journey to possibly greater things. The road traveled is a tough one filled with potholes but watching them figure out how to overcome is what is wonderful.

There are a slew of different characters we get to meet. There is fae, human, vampires and demon as well as different courts. They all have varying skillsets which we find out as the story goes along. One of my favorite is the spirit that lives within the house called Silpha. It doesn’t speak and you can’t see it but the way it lets you know it approves is so cool! Very creative!

Overall it is a great story! Filled with triumphs and tribulations. I hope there is more as a few loose ends were left dangling.

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. This is the second book in this series which I enjoyed just as much as the first book. I highly suggest reading the previous book as well to help your enhancement of this series and to see where characters have been. I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. A story that is full of sci-fantasy that has some romance mixed into it. I enjoyed how the author used details to pull you into the story from the beginning. The characters are connectable and ease you into their world and keep you there until the last page. There is great growth of the characters as well as the plot which I enjoyed watching. This is an easy, fast paced story that has great entertainment value. Find out what happens on a simple rescue mission on planet Earth which is being held prisoner. This is a series you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book.

This is the first book that I have read from this author. I love small town romance but this story exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book of the Morris Valley Gang series. I was so hooked on this storyline I could not stop reading. I devoured this book in a full day. I can’t wait to see which character she is going to write about next.

Brinley Moore made a pact to stay friends with her friends before she was forced to leave. She is now an adult and she is heading to the town that makes her feel safe. Brinley is home and she meets the very handsome cowboy Adrian Cook. She is intrigued by this guy but she is told that he is too busy for any relationship. Brinley can’t stop the connection she has so she goes for it. She is starting to feel like everything is working out until she finds out her stalker is more nearby than she thinks. Will Brinley and Adrian find what they have been looking for or will it all be too dangerous?

The Innovator (WaterFyre Rising, #3)The Innovator by Nadia Han
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I should not be surprised at the varied and depths of emotions this author can evoke from me. But I find myself surprised again. The story keeps you involved from beginning until the end. Each mystery is part of the larger story that continues to build. The devotion from these childhood friends is the backbone for each guy. The growing SSG is a fantastic compliment to the guy group.

Natalie is trying to find out the truth behind the secrets surrounding her father’s death. She walks away from her posh lifestyle in Paris to re-establish herself as a municipal employee in Providence, the city that contains the answers she is looking for. She meets Grayson through normal business and decides that he is a jerk.

Grayson has been in a dark place ever since his uncle’s secrets and deception came out. Grayson has been shaken to his very core. He has been grouchy and growly, not caring who he insulted. It was during this time that he met Natalie. When he started hanging out with her, for business of course, he discovered that there was more to this woman than her persistence for government documents and signatures. Her creative soul spoke to his wounded soul in a way no one else had ever before.

I love this series. These characters are real despite their millions. Facing down secret societies and masked villains are commonplace for this group of friends. A wonderful chosen family that defies the quests and coded operations. Looking forward to the next in the series. Forrest!!

Right in Front of You: Volume One: Brinley & Adrian (Morris Valley Gang Book 1)

I am already in love with this group of characters and can’t wait for each and everyone to find their happiness, especially one in particular.

Brinley and Adrian were a perfect match from the beginning. Both are easy going and take pleasure in the simple things in life.

Their friends are a crazy bunch, but if you can’t let loose with all of your childhood friends there isn’t anyone you can truly relax around.

There was a little bit of everything in this book. Of course romance, suspense and a crazy old lady who I want to be like when I get older.

I’m hoping it isn’t just the younger characters who find love, I could see Adrian’s dad finding his happily ever after at some point.

I’m really excited to keep up with this series. I hope the next book is released soon.

Right in Front of You is the first book I’ve read by this author as well as the first book in the Morris Valley Gang series. I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us next! I love the opening of Brinley and her friends making a blood pact to stay best friends forever because it sets the tone for their relationships moving forward. Even though she moved away, she finds her way back in Morris Valley where she can hopefully feel more comfortable…unless trouble follows her. When Adrian Cook enters the picture, he has made it his one and only goal to make sure Brinley is protected at all costs. Does he feel something deeper for her or is it more of a big brother instinct? If you enjoy westerns and romance, you will love this wonderful book!

Another wonderful book by this talented author. I really loved this story and the characters in it. This was Natalie and Grayson’s story! Natalie and Grayson had such chemistry, it was literally pouring off the pages. If there’s one thing this author does right is she gets the connection and passion between the characters she’s writing about spot on. Apart from the simmering connection between the two characters we’ve got the twists and turns that deal with both of their pasts and I think in particular Grayson’s past was really interesting to see him work through. This is the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading in order though personally.
I’m definitely looking forward to more from this author!

Wow! What a wonderful finish to the trilogy! I’ll Love You Tomorrow is Lauren and Mitch’s story. Lauren and Mitch have known each other since childhood, so marriage was a natural progression. The wedded bliss has faded; Lauren wrestles 24/7 keeping her restaurant afloat, and Mitch has become distant.
I’ll Love You Tomorrow was a page-turner. The characters and story are well-written. You cannot help but to root for this couple! This is a trilogy that I will read over again!
