The Protector (The Freemasons #4)The Protector by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was so full of love and so good. Renee is rehabilitating and the patience and love that Declan shows her is everything. There is a plot twist. Renee is more confident and stronger than ever after she’s had to endure what life has thrown at her. Following this series, I have fallen in love with the characters and their lives. These men and the women that they have at their sides are worth falling in love with. I love them all but Declan has a special place in my heart with Renee due to her story and how she overcame it with his help.

This series has fast become one of my favorites to read! I could not get enough of these books and could not put it down once I got ahold of it! This book revolves around Renee, who was kidnapped by terrible people and was able to finally be found and Declan who is a part of the freemasons who has always had a crush on her. I really loved their interaction with one another and the way that their story was written. Renee has a lot of real emotions that people feel when in these situations. It was super refreshing to read this and know that the author has such class writing the story like she did. Now that Renee is back, will she let herself finally fall for Declan or will her emotions and feelings stand in the way of her finally having happiness? I could not get enough of this book!! I cannot wait to buy these books for my sister and our friends to read them!!!

This book piqued my interest as soon as I read the description. It seemed like a book that would b exactly what I look for and it definitely was. The characters had such a strong chemistry, right from the word go. You could feel it on every page and that is what pulled me in.
This is a new author to me and I thought the way they developed the characters was brilliant. The story was well thought out and easy to read. I enjoyed it as soon as I started reading. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Evelyn and Devlin have been coworkers for a few years now. Devlin has a reputation as a ladies man, but he has always had feelings for Evelyn. She was in a relationship, so Devlin never pursued anything with her beyond the occasional flirtatious comment. But when Evelyn announces she has broken things off with her boyfriend, he dares her to go out with him. This was a fantastic weekend read. It was a romantic story that I couldn’t put down.

Elemental Fire (The Hidden Realms Book 1) by EG Manetti – Review by Francis O’Sullivan

Elemental Fire (The Hidden Realms #1)Elemental Fire by E.G. Manetti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Elemental Fire is the first book in the Hidden Realms series. It’s an exciting fantasy romance with an urban setting and plenty of twists to keep you turning the pages.
A treaty between humans and the Hidden was supposed to keep everyone safe and happy. But of course that’s not always the case. There are humans who see the Hidden as a threat and discriminate against them. There are Hidden who use their glamours to do more than simply blend in with the crowd. This is where Sin comes in – she can see through glamours and spot different magical creatures whether or not they want to be seen. She offers her services to both sides, helping where she can (especially if the pay is good!).
There is some beautiful world building in this book, which encourages readers to see the magic in everything! And the story is fantastic, with the romance not overwhelming the action and mystery.
This book gets five stars from me! I’d recommend it to fans of urban fantasies looking for something full of romance and adventure.

The Protector (The Freemasons #4)The Protector by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have been loving this book series since book 1. As much as I am sad to see the finale of the books happen, I loved how the author created these books and brought them to life, and gave the perfect ending!

This one in particular in the series really got at my heart strings i must say! Declan was a character impossible not to love, he was a good man with a good heart. Renee I related to a lot as well. She went thru stuff and did not seem worthy in her opinion to the most special in her life. When her past comes back to haunt her, she finds comfort in Declan’s arms. Their moments were sweet, full of steam, and you really truly felt the feelings and emotions between them! I was very happy with how this book went. The book series was stellar from book 1 all the way through this one, the finale. Perfect series which I absolutely loved!

I could never get enough of this author or series. The series, this book installment, and author are a high recommendation from me! It was bitter sweet to reach the end of the series, but the journey was by far unforgettable. Definitely a must read for sure. I highly suggest reading all the books in this series!

The Protector (The Freemasons #4)The Protector by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jude’s sister, Renee was abducted and was held in a sex tracking ring for 3 years. She was pretty much the first person people saw when they walked in, much like a greeter. She definitely did have to participate in actions but not as much as others I do not think. Jude’s best friend Declan and Renee were close before she was abducted and both had feeling for one another but were afraid to act on them. Now that Renee has been rescued, Declan stays on sight in the place Renee is placed to help her cope. She has therapy there, and slowly starts to have lunch with Declan. Declan is the only person Renee feels absolutely comfortable with. She does have setbacks and the person she calls first is always Declan. They both care a great deal
About eachother but Renee has alot of triggers and issues when it comes to people near her or
Touching her. Everything seems to be going at a great pace as Declan and Renee get back to how close they were before she was abducted until Dominic’s wedding. At a moment during the wedding, Renee, Declan and Jude’s fears come barreling into reality when Renee goes missing again. Was she taken, is she in the bathroom, or did she just leave without telling anyone? I thought this series was so good and I loved the plot that all the books worked around. I hope to read more by this author soon. Each book was great to read but I recommend reading them in order to get the full effect.

Friends to lovers
Third book in and loving the Freemasons Series. This is Jude and Sienna’s story. There has always been an attraction but circumstances push them to face their truth and boy, does it create some steam. There is all the alpha maleness that we have come to love from this series and the strong FMC that keeps the man in line. There is an interwoven story that has continued since book one so it is recommended to start at the book one. A brilliant addition to the series.

What a conclusion to this fantastic series!! So creatively written with such wonderful characters that you just can’t help taking them into your heart. This book explores Renee and Declan whose bond is undeniable but they have so much to work through as Renee tries to build a life again after being rescued. The author created such truly amazing characters whose strength is just indescribable! Renee is just such an amazing woman whose inner strength, even if at first she can’t see it, is inspiring. I highly recommend you reading this as soon as you can!! Don’t stop at one book read the whole series!!

The Protector is the fourth and final book in The Freemasons series by Nicole Flockton. I have absolutely loved reading this series and meeting our sexy Freemasons. And this book certainly finishes the series off on a high note. It was a bit of a bitter-sweet read for me as I wasn’t ready to say goodbye, but at the same time I couldn’t help but devour the book to find out what happens. I didn’t need sleep, I needed answers lol…
As with the rest of the series, this is a fantastic contemporary romantic suspense, with plenty of emotion, chemistry, angst, steam, danger, intrigue, action, suspense, sweet and tender moments, heart-warming scenes, recovery, redemption, hope, and healing. It has a ‘brothers-best-friend/best-friends-sister element which was the perfect way to end the series.
After everything that Renee has been thorough, and the Freemasons in finding/rescuing her, she considers herself broken and ‘tainted goods’ unworthy of being loved. Declan’s protective nature comes to the fore, and he’s determined to do whatever it takes to protect her. What happens when the past comes back and threatens to destroy her life, again. Can Declan protect her and keep her safe? Will these two get their chance for their own HEA, or will the past prove too difficult to overcome? This is definitely worth the read to find out….
I highly recommend reading the previous three books before starting on this one, as even though each book focuses on its own particular couple, there are overlapping/common elements, recurring characters, as well as each book contributing to painting a bigger picture… So having all that previous information on board will definitely enhance your reading experience of this book and give you a greater appreciation of the series, as a whole.
Now I really can’t wait to see what Ms. Flockton brings us next.
Happy Reading!

Thank, you, Nicole Flockton!

This was a great 5 star read. This was a fun office romance read. Evelyn finds herself single and Devlin finally convinces her to go have a friendly drink with him. Let’s just say these two start something very steamy. As we move through the story we get to know each of them. There are secrets, forbidden romance, banter and so much more. Will they get caught? Is what they have worth it?

Another Freemason down for the count. This is the third book I’ve read in this series and so far The Warrior is my favorite! I will never ever stop gushing about how much I love this author! She writes wonderful series that just suck you in, and keep you wanting more!
I feel this book is the darkest one yet. The others were dark leading up to this but it’s starting to reach its climax.
Jude and Sienna shared a kiss that will change them for the rest of their lives. Tensions have run high between these two for some time. However they both would consistently deny it. Unfortunately now they can’t. Trying to keep it wrapped up tight between the two of them they keep slipping up.
Dominic finally had a solid lead on Jude’s sister Renee and the people who took her. With that knowledge Jude doesn’t want to get his hopes up but is floored when he finds out the plan. Sienna being tasked to go in and help with taking down as well as extraction. Jude’s against it he already lost his sister, what would happen if he lost his heart?
Unfortunately he’s overruled, so he tags along instead.
The danger these characters go through for the greater good is amazing. The way the author put it into perspective to make someone feel, is undeniable. There’s so much I want to say but I can’t spoil it. I need everyone who loves romance series that have edge and some adventure to check this series out now. If you’ve read the 1st two books, what are you waiting for? Me, I’m waiting for book 4!

5 Stars!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Warrior is the 3rd book in the series of The Freemasons and this book at me at the edge of my seat and having to take deep breaths as Jude finally receives the intel that he needs to rescue his sister that was abducted. Jude has harbored guilt over Renee’s abduction and cannot be happy in his life until he gets her back. When Sienna, former military, and friend volunteers to help with the rescue mission, Jude is hesitant…especially with brewing feelings for Sienna as he does not want to lose her too. The spark between Sienna and Jude is off the charts! Will Sienna, Jude and the team be successful in Renee’s rescue?

This series is fantastic and I highly recommend reading the books in order as the characters are in each of the books and you get to know their stories and how they intertwine. Wonderful, a few dark moments, friends to lovers, action and at the edge of your seat moments!!

The Warrior: A Friend’s to Lovers Romance (The Freemasons Book 3)

I think this is the book I was most excited to read, mostly because Jude is my grandson’s name and I don’t see it too often, especially in books.

If my Jude is half the man this one is I will be a happy Memaw. All Jude wants is to find his sister Renee and bring her home after so many years being gone and is willing to sacrifice his happiness until she finally comes home.

Sienna is the woman to help him get this accomplished though he isn’t excited about the plan and how involved she will need to be.

So much happens in this book that I had a hard time putting it down and may possibly have a small bruise on my forehead from where my kindle landed on me.

I’m excited for the next book but not ready quite yet to say bye to these great guys. This author still hasn’t disappointed me.

The Warrior is the third book in The Freemasons Series and is a Contemporary Romance that I absolutely loved reading. I’ve read the other books in this series and this one is my favorite yet. I recommend reading the previous books if you haven’t already started as they’re just as good as this one and you get to know the characters better plus get the back story of what the other Freemasons have been doing. This authors style of writing pulls you in from the beginning and man it keeps your attention till the end. This one is about Jude and Sienna . Jude will do anything to find his sister and he’s been as patient as one can be and finally there’s hope the end of this is in sight. . Here’s where Sienna comes into the equation she’s going to be the bait that will hopefully lure in the enemy. Then there’s Jude realizing he doesn’t want anything to happen to her and can hopefully save his sister and keep Sienna safe. I highly recommend reading this page turner to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series.

The Warrior is the third installment of The Freemasons series, and it does not disappoint! I was completely engrossed in this story from page one until the very end. I simply could not read fast enough for my satisfaction.

Jude Cadmon has done something seemingly stupid and doesn’t know how to proceed…he kissed Sienna Townsend. They are both ex-military and the chemistry between them is palpable, but Jude promised himself he wouldn’t accept happiness until he rescued his sister who has gone missing. Coming from the military means most people think you can handle yourself, but both Jude and Sienna need a reprieve of some kind. Will he be able to save his sister while keeping Sienna safe, or will he fail them both?

I devoured this book so quickly it played like a movie in my head. The flow of the story was great as well. I am about to pick up the fourth book in this series to get more from Nicole Flockton!

I loved this book, and not only the spice and the characters, but the way the author brought everything and everyone to life. It flowed nicely, and everything constantly matched perfectly! Could not put it down!

Needless to say this was a book that was impossible not to devour. I loved how it starts and you get a good feel for the characters, and then the story takes off from there. Forbidden love especially in the work place and guy who gets everything he wants. But what if something he wants, and he got a taste of it, but realized this is something he wants more than anything? The book had great spice, and not just a one time thing, was literally all the way through. Thank you to the author for that! The character development was spot on, and realistic. I was deep into this novel and its characters. Seriously Devlin and Eve were making my kindle melt, and they weren’t even ripping their clothes off, just talking being near, you could not deny their chemistry! Again, amazing writing by a talented author and I could not put this one down! Loved it!

The Protector (The Freemasons #4)The Protector by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In this the fourth instalment in The Freemasons series The Protector takes on this role to watch over Renee which we learnt all about in the third book. This has become one of my fav series. I love the characters that Nicole has brought to life flaws, rawness and all. I have fallen in love with each and every one of them. Given that we learned in the previous book I suggest reading the books in order as you get to see more of who they truly are and have more understanding of what happened in readiness for this book.

The Protector is a brother’s best friend romance that will leave you wanting more. Declan makes you want to swoon with his tenderness towards the broken Renee and his desire to keep her in his life in any way he can. BUT watch out when she is threatened.

This delicious romance tale is a slow burn with love and caring. There is also some danger, secrets, lies, fear, hope, angst, age old secrets.

I look forward to more from Nicole.

This was such a wonderful book. Jude’s sister has been missing. Jude has stopped his life and made it his mission to find her. In order to save her he is going to have to use the girl that he wants to be with. This means risking her for the life of his sister.
Sienna is former military. She is adept at being a chameleon in any situation. She has a strong desire to help Jude and save his sister.
During the mission, things go awry. Sienna’s life is in more danger than they first thought. Jude will use everything he knows to keep her alive.
This is the third book in the Freemasons series. I did not read the first two but I definitely will now. This book was able to stand alone and I was not confused as to what is going on. I loved the development of the characters and their relationships. As usual Nicole Flockton has written an amazing book that I definitely hope everyone enjoys!

The Warrior (The Freemasons #3)The Warrior by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Having read and enjoyed the previous books in this series, I was looking forward to Jude’s story, and I was not disappointed. Set within the Freemasons world, each book is about a different member, and so can be read as a standalone story, however, I would personally recommend reading them in order to get a better understanding of each characters backstory. Jude is a former SAS operative who has dedicated his time to finding his sister, Renee who went missing. That included putting his dating life on hold, even though the chemistry between him and Sienna is undeniable. When Jude and his friends finally get a lead on Renee, it means using Sienna as bait. Sienna Townsend perfected the art of changing both her appearance and personality whilst in the military.
She now needs to use all her skills to save Renee and help Jude, who she’s also falling for. When those who were fooled by Sienna attempt to get revenge and put her life in danger, it’s time for Jude to use his warrior instincts to keep her safe. I was hooked from page one and was kept happily turning the pages late into the night, as I couldn’t put the book down. I was yet again immersed in the Freemasons world though the descriptive narrative, which brought both the setting and characters to life. The chemistry between Jude and Sienna sizzled off the page and I was hoping they would get their HEA. An enjoyable and engaging read, and I look forward to book four.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I enjoyed the premise of this book as well as the characters. I thought the spice level was *chef’s kiss* and sprinkled generously throughout the book. However, the writing left much to be desired. I felt rushed and then there were extreme jumps in time and the characters were wishy-washy (more so than they needed to be). It’s really hard to explain and put into words how I felt about this book. Like I said, I really liked the premise and the plot line and the characters, I just don’t think it was fully flushed out. I will say that the twist at the end was a complete shocker and I thoroughly enjoyed it! There are actually 2 twists…I liked the main twist…the other twist felt forced and I didn’t think it actually needed to be there. That happened too throughout the book…things happened that really didn’t need to be included.
Now let’s get into the story. This is a very quick read, which I always appreciate. I (mostly) loved the characters of Devlin and Eve. I feel like Parker could have maybe flushed Devlin’s character out a little more. We get to see a lot of Eve’s “why” and in time we do get to see Devlin’s but I think his could have been flushed out more. I did really enjoy the interactions between Devlin and Eve; especially when Devlin would get Eve all flustered. Their spicy interactions were off the charts hot and well done!
I would recommend this book with the caveat that there’s just something about the writing that just doesn’t sit quite right with me.
