This former lovers to enemies finding their way back to love again story was very good. The HEA comes back into town after being gone for 10 years for a funeral and runs into his former girlfriend. Both he and she are mad at past situations and don’t want to forgive each other, but a will stipulations won’t let them walk away. There’s great character development and the story line is good. Will be on the lookout for the next in this series.

This was a great read. I was pulled in right away and kept on reading until I got to the end. This is the first book I have read by this author and I look forward to reading more. I enjoyed the writing style and I felt connected to the characters. I became completely invested in Jeremy and Regan’s relationship. Both of them don’t want or need any distractions because they are working toward their future but their chemistry is hard to deny. This book has romance, struggles, family, and emotion. I highly recommend this book, you don’t want to miss out.

This story definitely drew me in and I had a hard time putting it down when life demanded. Jeremy and Regan both have goals they are after and no time for that pesky thing like attraction. Sometimes it sneaks up on you and it was a great time watching these two well developed characters navigate it all. It’s story had me hooked from start to finish and I really enjoyed my time in Regan and Jeremy’s world. This is a new to me author and I’m definitely looking forward to more. Four big stars and highly recommended!

This special edition boxset contains two novels, featuring Melodie and ‘office guy’, (Isaac), and I was pleased to be able to ‘binge read’ them as the sequel picks up from the end of book one, so I didn’t have to wait to find out if the couple got their HEA. This opposites attract romance is an enjoyable and engaging read, with some really touching moments and then some laugh out loud ones. Set in London, the author has made the setting come alive through the descriptive narrative, making me feel immersed in the story. The quirky characters and intriguing storyline had me gripped from start to finish. Melodie, is a pink haired artsy-hippie, who plays guitar and sings under The London Eye, she always notices a guy that she’s named ‘office guy’, who she catches staring at her whilst she’s playing. One day he actually walks up to her and they meet, Issac is her exact opposite, he’s a good, clean cut guy who works in an office, and definitely does not have pink hair. However, the pair becomes friends and then they fall in love, in book one, and then in book two the couple, who really are perfect for one another, are getting married. Unfortunately when their parents meet things do not exactly go to plan, as it seems not everyone is as happy about the couple marrying as they are. I loved Melodie and Issac, their chemistry sizzles off the page and I loved how their relationship developed throughout the two novels, and I really enjoyed their interactions with each other. A real page turner and a great read for some escapism!

First things first, if you aren’t into risque reads this book will not be for you. The story is so good though and not my normal read but I could not put it down once I started. I love how the author writes each chapter from either Regan or Jeremy. It kept the story flowing and you get both sides of their journey and history without getting lost in the details. I found myself wanting more once it was over. There are parts of this book that are relatable to many people, the relationship and family struggles. There is so much emotion in the writing that I found myself crying right along with Regan and being angry right along with her and Jeremy.
When Regan needed Jeremy the most he was there, even tho she didn’t know she needed him or wanted him there at that time. Their story captures your heart even with all the sex its a great story. One that pulls on your heartstrings because Regan is essentially a local going nowhere based on her last name and where she lives. No one expects more out of her. She even says at one point that fairytales don’t exist and love like theirs isn’t real.
This story really shows that true love can overcome the hardest of obstacles and family drama. I was so glad when Phillip told Jeremy about the real reason Regan left. He’s such a great friend to Regan and even Jeremy at the end. To risk his lifelong friendship to tell Jeremy the truth.

This story follows Jeremy and Regan and is 402 pages in length. All Regan wants to do is get out of her town. Jeremy needs to show his dad that he can run the family business. What happens is they end up being a distraction to each other. Regan wants leave and Jeremy wants to run the business. Did Cupid just throw a wrench in their plans? I loved the different POV’s from the characters as it gives more insight into them.

This is book 5 of the Grimm Wolves MC series. A culmination of the first 4 books but the main story is about Chains, Jackson and Winnie. Wow! It is intense, powerful,.steamy and twisted; but also, heartfelt and romantic. Chains is the enforcer for the gang. He is taken and secrets that he has kept hidden (or thought he kept hidden) for years are coming to light. He goes through some serious challenges. Can he get over his trust issues and let down the walls to let Jackson and Winnie all the way in? Can he let the brothers in? Again, the author pulls you into the story. She writes in such a way that you are totally engaged in the story. The POV, tone and plot are all just perfectly intertwined. I hated to put down my reader to take care of life. The book is so action packed. I didn’t see the twist at the end. She has me holding on at the cliffhanger until part 2 comes out in June 2022. That cliffhanger was POW!!! I loved it, didn’t see it coming. I recommend this book for those over 18 that like action, romance and MC clubs.

This is the 5th book in this series and I love it. I always get hooked on a good MC series. This book was so raw and dark I could not put it down I needed to know what came next, it will have you hanging on the edge. Can’t wait for the next book.

This is a new author for me, but I had some friends to recommend it, so I decided to give it a go. I was highly surprised by how steamy and descriptive this book was with the sexual scenes. Not that it was bad, but it’s just not my normal cup of tea. I thought the writer did an amazing job writing from the characters points of view in each chapter. That was a new idea to me, but I loved how it worked out. I thought it made for a unique telling of the storyline. I loved these characters. I feel like they could be friends of my own. Once I read a few chapters it was a quick paced story. If you like steamy, sizzling adult romance books then this is perfect for you.

Vanessa is recovering from an abusive relationship and finds herself wildly attracted to Arkon. She is learning to trust herself and maybe just maybe she’s open for love. If not, at least the lovemaking is hot! Meanwhile the planet she is inhabiting is being overtaken by alien worms creating a nasty storm and trying to destroy those already living there. Thankfully our heroine has sisters and a wise and insightful grandmother to the magic and the ways of the cosmos. I thoroughly enjoy this world Calla Zae has created. It reminded me of Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Wars with its own spice and yet entirely its own. I’ll be reading more of Soldiers of Saedo!

This isn’t the first book of the series, but it’s the first one I have read. That being said I didn’t feel like I was starting in the middle of the story. Now that I have read this one and loved the story I will have to go back and read the first four. McKinley did a great job writing this story to where it could stand on its own. I want more of the Luc and Summer’s story so I am hoping that she will write more about them. I really liked how she worked all the characters into the story with a purpose. Evolving the women just as well as the men really added to the story. Can’t wait to read more by Amy McKinley.
This is my first-time reading CJ Warrant, and it is a great way to start off a series. I don’t usually read books without a supernatural something in it, but this one was good. I was hooked to the well written characters in this book. It was hard for me to put down. This book is full of twists that I couldn’t wait to see where it was going to go. I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next with Deacon and Olivia. This book does have triggers, but this author has a well written storyline. I will definitely be on the look out for the next installment to this series.

I absolutely loved this book! Until There Was You is a faced paced and sizzling romance. I loved the characters of Regan and Jeremy. I especially loved their chemistry. I completely related to Regan and her feeling that her life was cursed. The plot flows nicely and doesn’t get bogged down in the details. An easy and compelling read. I look for to reading more books by G. Colgrove!

A great story of the underdogs finding their way survive and come up on top! I loved that aspect of this book. It was refreshing! What starts off as a whoopsie, ends up being one of the best decisions Summer & Luc make! It starts their angsty and steamy roller coaster of a ride. In the beginning there’s tons of mistrust and secrets, but with time they see the truth and gain trust. Many curveballs and surprising moments. In the end everything happens to a reason and everything plays out as it should. Summer is welcomed with the wives & family and clicks with them instantly like she meant for that life all along!

This is not my first audible by this author but it is one of my favorites. I loved listening to this book. This is a story where the narrator and the author’s writing skills bring the story to life with each word. I enjoyed being kept engaged by how the narrator read the story. This story is full of action and steamy bikers. A story that pulls you in and is hard to stop listening to. Dart meets Alex who is completely the opposite of what he likes but she needs his help. They are such great characters that made the story entertaining. You don’t want to miss this audio or the others in this series. I highly recommend this audible.

Captivating and delightful A very entertaining and tantalising read. This is a contemporary romance with a real story line and well written characters. Jeremy has his charm and Regan has a backbone. These two together are so easy to fall in love with. It is a fast paced book and I was very quickly swept away within the pages. A worthy read.

Until There Was You by G. Colgrove. This is my first book by this author but it most certainly won’t be my last. This is a fast paced, steamy, love story about Regan who is a South Boston resident who wants nothing more than to get out of there. The only person that is really there for her is her boss at the diner. Jeremy ends up coming in for lunch one day and she is not really attracted to him because the group he is with leaves a lousy tip. Jeremy is smitten with Regan and after some repeated attempts to ask her out she finally gives in. From their first date they are together constantly. Jeremy doesn’t really need the distraction but Regan is like a drug to him. Will Jeremy stay with Regan when he finds out about her family? Read Until there was you to find out!

Finding Melodie and The Wedding Special Boxset by Laura Rossi. This was such a fun Boxset. Its got 2 books included, The Wedding and Finding Melodie. Both were equally great, short reads that won’t let you put them down. In Finding Melodie we meet Melodie a pink haired musician who plays on street corners for money in London. She lives with her 2 gay best friends and they have the best time. One day she meets one of her regulars she calls “Office Guy” who she has a slight crush on and he asks her for help. He wants to propose to his girlfriend and he needs her help. She is a little broken hearted but decides to help him. They end up on a wild adventure together and The Wedding is a continuation of that friendship. In this book they are more than friends and the troubles and pleasures of that relationship are in play. This is a romantic fun boxset that you will love.

This author and series is new to me and I have not read the previous books in this series. Jumping in at book 4 didn’t keep me from enjoying the book. Vanessa’s past experience being married was not healthy and she is determined to find peace in the new planet with her sisters were relocated to. The planet is different from Earth in ways and Vanessa is enjoying adding plants that are new to her to dishes she creates. When she meets Arkon, Vanessa finds that she’s attracted to him and has feelings for him in ways she didn’t expect after her marriage.
The author did a wonderful job describing the planet which helped set the scene well. The story has romance, some suspense, and overall kept my attention throughout the book. I’m looking forward to reading the earlier books in this series soon.

As always, I read this book in one sitting, this author has a way with storytelling that makes me what to read cover to cover. I love her mafia series and this story is no different. The characters, Summer and Luc can handle anything thrown their way. Which is exactly what brings them together. First by chance and then by another chance. This is a stranger to friends to lovers kind of story. And it is pretty perfect.
“We were at a precipice. The lives we lived were over, and our next adventure had only begun.” ~Summer
This is exactly how life moves. From one adventure to the next. Childhood to adulthood. Marriage to children to empty nest. What will be our next adventure be? What adventure will this author bring to Summer and Luc?
“It was awe, love, and pride, and somehow seeing it on his features and allowing myself to feel it, too, released those emotions from the padlocked box inside of me. It was time to stop hiding from him and from myself.” ~Summer
Looking forward to the next in this series and wondering where the author will take us next!
Deacon might just be one of my favorite male main characters so far this year. Right from page one I was completely hooked and knew I was in for a great read. Olivia is also an amazing character. Each one has been through so much and I loved their second Chance story. This book is filled with steam, tough but well written situations, mystery and drama. The friendships in this book are strong and will definitely grab your heart. It’s got everything you need in a second Chance type story! It’s definitely one that I’m going to remember. I’m excited to read what’s next from this author. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Deacon suffered in his life, more than most all he needs to do is escape the town he grew up in. Years later he is brought back to his hometown to bury his best friend but hopefully he does not dig up old memories.
Olivia was broken when Deacon left one night forever wondering if their friendship ever was as solid as she thought, but time has passed, and she moved away and made a life for herself but coming back home will hurt especially if she sees him.
Once they meet up old feelings and insecurities come flooding back but with the pressures, they are both under can they rekindle what they had lost years before.
This is the first book I have read by this author and OMG what a book to start with. The story was well written and fully of emotion in each chapter written. I loved these two main characters and the emotional struggle they have been through with each other and apart and that they are a little jade around the edges but still truly believe they can be there for each other.
The story around the struggles with his mother’s Alzheimer’s is thought provoking and written with dignity and empathy and you are drawn into the decisions he must make. This story is about survival and strength and with the story meandering through with twists and turns, cliff hangers I can not wait to read the next book in this series.

This boxset had a lot of sweet moments that pulled on my heartstrings. This boxset was just so wholesome and endearing. I loved reading every single bit of it. The writing was phenomenal. For reading the author’s books for the first time, there’s no words that express all the feelings that I felt while I read this box series. Everything was real world relatable and that’s what I loved most about it! Well done author well done!

This was an emotional 5 star read. Deacon returns home to attend his best friend’s funeral and to take care of his mother. He also needs to work on getting things straight but when someone from his past shows up things get interesting. Olivia returns home to attend a funeral, when she sees Deacon the past comes crashing back on her along with the heartbreak. They both have hurt feelings and the more time they spend together the more old feelings start to come back. Can they finally work out their history? Will they get a HEA?
Overall this was a great read with lots of twists and turns. There is so much packed into this read my head was spinning. I really enjoyed their story, their chemistry came off the pages. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. If you’re looking for a great 2nd chance romance 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Yesssssss. This was the best book so far omg I cried and screamed and stopped for a break. When Iron starts prospecting with the Grimm Wolves MÇ, he feels like he has found a safe haven with his club brothers and their families. As they open their hearts to not only him but to his daughter, Everly, and his baby momma, Joy, he feels a sense of security for the first time since all the lies began. This is a beautiful, adventurous, action packed quick read that touch’s the soul. This author is a master of creativity. I fell in love with this story,it gave me Dear John vibes. This is a must read perfect for book club. As the fourth book in the series I am convinced they you can read them separately and still understand the vibe. I truly appreciate a good book, and this is five stars easy.

What happens when your past pounds on your door and you lose the little control you have over your own life? This was a little rough for me to read. This story was very quick and jam packed. Surprise after surprise. We continue the intensity of this motorcycle club. This author has a way of making readers connect with each and every character. I love that each book gives you new characters and keeps the love of others. Each story goes in depth of the family that this club created. Who is your favorite character? I do not have an answer. This is a cute spin on the holidays. Oh boy, this gets better with every page. I wish they were longer, I want more of each story.

Ohh my, this book was fantastic. This story follows Regan, a southside local in Boston who meets Jeremy, the rich developer from LA. At first glance, Regan thinks she knows the kind of guy Jeremy is, the typical rich snob but once she gets to know him and they run into each other by chance she sees a different side to him. Can two people from completely different worlds fall in love and get their happily ever after is the question of this book. This love story was spicy and I didn’t expect it but loved it all the same. I appreciated the realness and heavy topics and the drama was just enough but not too far that it was overkill. I’m a sucker for dual POV and the epilogues always get me. This was a winner and it’s only the start of the month but this is a contender for best book of the month for me. 4.5/5

This book was extremely well written. I enjoyed a lot the portrayal of Beelezebub, as well as the different take on everything. The twist on the angel and demon dynamic was fantastic, as were the characters themselves. I won’t go into details about the plot so as not to spoil it, but you will not be disappointed in this novel. It’s a refreshing take, with characters that are intriguing and all-consuming (pun intended). I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have.

She doesn’t like anything about him. Well, maybe a few things…
English aristocrat Bella Orstwell thought helping get her abusive Russian mafia boyfriend arrested would be the end her troubles. It isn’t. Because even though she’s been whisked off to parts unknown to hide out until the trial, she now has to pretend to be the housekeeper to the Delaney Brothers and nanny to their kid sister. And then there’s Levi, one gorgeous bully of a cowboy tasked with protecting her. He might be in charge of her safety, but if he thinks she’s going to follow his every order without question, he’s in for a rude awakening…
Levi Delaney does not need a babysitting gig. Helping raise his orphaned kid sister and running the ranch with his brothers keeps him plenty busy. But an ex-Navy SEAL never turns down a call from an old friend—which is how he found himself in charge of keeping the annoyingly lovely Bella safe. Now, if only he could find a way to keep her quiet that didn’t involve kissing her—or falling for her…
Bella is shaping up to be a real pain in Levi’s behind, not the least the way his brothers keep falling over themselves when she’s around. But he gave his word that he’d keep her safe and that’s exactly what he plans to do. One small problem, the more she fights him, the more he finds her getting under his skin.
After the trauma of Dmitri, Bella just wants to survive, but is that enough? There’s something about her wounded hero that makes her want to heal him. Not that he wants to let anyone in close enough to do that. But he hasn’t dealt with her before.
Can these polar opposites overcome the demons of their pasts and find common ground on the road to happily ever after? Only if he can keep her alive that long…

Nothing prepared Griffin for the headstrong winemaker. Alluring, she tempts him into enjoying Portugal’s vibrant tastes and is a threat to his carefully constructed plans. The arrogant Englishman arrived at Julia’s lands, believing himself entitled to everything, including her heart. But how can she resist an attraction headier than a vintage?
