I love quirky novels about demons and love. This book was exactly what I was looking for. Following Beelzebub and Clara’s story as they discovered each other and love was fun. This author really created a fun world and I loved every word. I will definitely read more from this author.

Vampires are one of my favorite supernatural creatures. I have loved vampires ever since I first heard of Dracula when I was in junior high. I am always looking forward to new novels about vampires and this book did not disappoint me at all. Sam and Layla’s story was a bit different but that just made it all the more interesting to read. This author created a really good book and I look forward to seeing more from this author.

Wow! This is an amazing start to the series! I mean the cover alone drew me in. First Layla is the strong sexy fighter we all admire. Then there’s Sam, the hot and bold vampire. Fate or life throws them in each others path, it doesn’t really matter. Now this is where the story gets real good. Some of these scenes will make your mouth water. Prepare yourself for the slow delightful burning romance between these enemies to lovers. I have already pre-ordered the next two books because yes it was that good! Fore warning it ends on a cliff hanger but is oh so worth the read.

This book is centered around Zee and Clara. Zee comes across Clara and immediately wants to possess her and tries everything to, but Zee has met his match with Clara. She doesn’t give in very easy and gives Zee a run for his money. This Good vs Evil was a great take on the whole Angel vs Demon and the forces around us. The writing was phenomenal and I couldn’t put it down. The author does a good job at bringing you into the story instead of bringing the story to you. This was a first for me from this author and I greatly enjoyed it. I cant wait to read the other books in this series!

Wowza can I just say I’m not usually a fan of army style books but I love all things supernatural. So I gave this one a try and boy I’m super happy I did. The story was actions packed from the beginning which im a big fan of. Also omg the spiciness between Sam and Layla is the best. (Layla is my spirit animal the way she stands up to people.)I cannot wait til the second one is released in a couple weeks I will be getting it the day of because ughhhhhh the cliffhanger in this should be illegal 😭😭. I’m also on my way to go read jo and webbs stories I was curious about them and was excited to see they have their own story.

Beelzebub, Zee, a prince of Hell, the demon of gluttony, loves his job of tempting humans to overindulge. Clara, is a human Zee just can’t seem to tempt. This intrigues him and he continues to try going so far as to change some of his own habits. Heaven and Hell already on the brink of war take notice of this. Will Clara be safe? Will Zee? Will they end up in the fight? Will Zee and Clara be able to find their HEA?
I absolutely loved the writing style of this book. The characters were well defined, I could imagine them in our world. The scenery of the book was excellent as well. I recommend the book. Cant wait to see what comes next.

This is the first book I have read by this author, but they are going on my favorites list. Regan is the first in her family to graduate high school and isn’t really surprised that no one in her family is there to support her. Jeremy works for the family business and is ready to take it over. Poor girl meets rich boy and it is love at first sight. Sounds easy enough, then real life hits. Can these two see past their issues and social standings to make it work? I loved the chemistry between these two and was rooting for them from the first look. Thank you author for letting me live in a different world even for a short time.

Wow! So this book came highly recommended and I’m so glad I picked it up. It is the first book I’ve read by this author and I was very impressed. I will be reading a lot more in the near future! I felt connected to the characters very early in the story and felt I was right there with them through the story. The author did a great job of keeping you wanting more. This book has the perfect mix of everything!

I’ve read quite a few stories by this author and they never disappoint! Marvel and Virginia are our main characters and I liked them alot. They buttheads and definitely have some stuff to work through that keeps popping up from their past. I love that they’re and older couple because that’s not written about often. I am looking for to more by this author in the future! Happy Reading!

This book sucked me in! Was so well written and definitely had the air of nothing is as it always seems! The characters were amazing, the story itself drew me in and held me hostage and it had the perfect amount of twists and turns! Sooo good! I honestly felt a loss when I read the last page and the book was done! Will definitely be looking for more from this awesome author!

Sam Mason is terrifying, sexy, and powerful. As a Navy SEAL he’s trained to do some serious damage, but as a VAMPIRE Navy SEAL, he’s downright lethal.
Everything about Sam Mason puts Layla on edge. Before they met she was determined to capture him and turn him over to her employer, now she’s doing everything she can to keep her distance and keep him out of her head and her bed.
When the job goes sideways and Layla’s sisters are in danger, she has to turn to Sam and the SEALs for help. She’s trying so hard to trust the enemy and save her family, but can she save herself?
The Hunted is a spin-off series with some HEAT! Layla and Sam have some serious chemistry and the fact that there’s so much tension really helps bring in the burn.
There are some areas that could use some detail work and some spots I felt a little lost, but I imagine if I had read the original series I’d be a lot more in the loop. It’s definitely not needed to learn about Sam and Layla, but it could be useful for some other characters.
It’s a fun, light-hearted romantic suspense for the enemies to lovers and paranormal trope fans. I’d recommend it for anyone who loves a quick read and a slow burn. I’m excited to check out the previous series and also to see what is next.

This novel had it all… sex, secrets, broken hearts, tears, laughter and a great big HEA! I will say it was a bit on the trashy side as every other page some was grabbing someone’s … (this is why I gave it four stars, because while I like a little heat to my novels there is such a thing as too much) … well anyway the overall story was great and I enjoyed that it was a quick and easy read. I loved the side characters as well as the stars of this story Regan “Southie” Doyle and Jeremy Stone. This story felt like a story more about forgiving yourself and opening up to love. Trigger warning: There is some Moderate drug/alcohol use as well as a family member death because of it.

Beelzebub: The Gift of Gluttony A Sinful Seven Novel By J.C. Brown Review By: Susan Ratchford 5 Stars Beelzebub is one of the Seven Princes of Hell and the demon of gluttony. He is charged with tempting humans with this sin, to mark their souls forever. He revels in his job, savoring every moment of the sweet experience, a job he finds quite easy to do. Until he meets Clara, an Empath with unique gifts of her own, who thwarts his every advance. Still he persists, needing her to give into him, and wondering why this beguiling woman affects him so. With a Civil War brewing in Hell both Beelzebub and Clara are pulled into a fight for something even bigger than they could ever imagine. I am addicted! This book took me on such a wild ride!!! Twisted, Sexy, and Unique!!! It delivers everything it promises with twists and turns that had my jaw on the floor! Perfectly paced for the maximum amount of sensual tension between the characters! The civil war and hierarchy of Hell was really engaging and I can’t wait to find out what happens next! I am definitely going to be reading the other book in this series! A must read for paranormal romance lovers!!

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this book was, the character development alone was amazing. However this is not your normal fantasy romance, to say that this one takes steamy to a whole new level is an understatement. The author really weaves a beautiful web of characters, scenery, and plot. The characters are so well developed and depicted that you’ll feel like there standing right in front of you. So if your looking for a great new steamy romance or even a fantasy romance, then make sure you pick this one up today.

The sound of sweet love music in the park. Melodie is street musician and Isaac comes to listen to her every day in the park during his lunch. Over a spoiled proposal, Melodie offers to help him win his girlfriend back. Cue up the wild adventures. Isaac sees that Melodie opens his life up. There is no going back to the way his life was. Melodie is the woman for him. They have adventures galore. This story is full of humor, a little sadness, lots of happiness, family that causes some hiccups and some other miscellaneous issues that pop up. There are so many little favorite parts for me in this set. I loved the whole story. Victoria, the hussy dog, cracked me up. No surpise what happened there. LOL. With a mom like Cynthia, they all rebel. But in the end, love and forgiveness redeems, that’s what makes this authors books so wonderful. She also writes very engaging stories. Once I started this one, I just couldn’t put this one down. I had to finish it, because I wanted to know what was going to happen. I would definitely give this more than a 5 if I could. I highly recommend one-click this one.

This was a great book! This was extremely well written, and because of that I was enthralled and sucked in from the first chapter. It was honestly pretty amazing. This book is immersive, descriptive, sexy, funny and full of action. This book packs a major punch when you read it. I like just about everything vampire, so this book was right up my alley. I don’t recall reading anything from this author in the past, and I will definitely be looking forward to reading more from this author in the future!

I love a good vampire story, and this one did not disappoint. I was intrigued from the start at the things that set Sam apart. The trio of human women were also unexpected. With every page, the author took you deeper and deeper into the mysteries surrounding the characters, and there was a fair bit of tension along the way! Layla was snarky and I loved her take no crap attitude. The close relationship and love between her and her sisters was also great to see. A slow burn forbidden romance, war at your doorstep, and vampires. This book really had it all. I’m intrigued and excited to see where the author takes it from here.

I love a good Angel and Demon story! The eternal struggle of good vs evil with romance and resistance attached intrigues me even more. Clara and Zee were great characters and each proved great strength as well as growth the more the story progressed. Beezlebub definitely gave me gluttonous vibes because I wanted more of him and his tempting ways.. The more you get to know Zee the more you see that he is not just an average demon. Both he and Clara have undeniable chemistry despite the differences and a heated connection neither can deny. Together they tell a story of saving souls, a war of good vs evils, and that anything is possible when you put together one of the Seven Princes of Hell and an empathetic Baker.

This book was amazing. I could not put it down. Sam and Layla are not two people that should ever be together. Sam is a Vampire. Layla is a vampire hunter from a long line of vampire hunters. Yet even knowing that the attraction is there. They are drawn to each other. It is an attraction they can’t seem to escape. The characters are so great. I can’t wait to read more. I mean I really can’t wait! When the book ended I was so sad that there was no more to read!

This book really blew me away. I went into this expecting your typical second chance romance story and honestly I was taken aback at how kuchen I connected with these characters. They journey was so turbulent but completely realistic. The author had such a good grasp on their development throughout the book. It felt quite fast paced for a romance as well which I think added to the overall effect. I read this book so fast because I simply couldn’t put it down. This is a great story and one I would highly recommend.

This is a quick romance book. The author does a brilliant job of getting the information needed across in a manner which befits the book. Its your typical fairytail trope rich guy and poor girl. Regan you root for all the way through such a likeable character the way they interact with each other feels so natural and flows well. Things font seem so good when Jeremy parents find out about their realtionships. A fight to prove true love.

This is a fantastic contemporary romance by an author that I had never read before but if this is any example of their work, I’ll definitely be reading again. I really. Really enjoyed this book. I loved Regan and Jeremy’s story. Both are great characters that I was really able to associate with and enjoyed reading about. I really could have read about this couple for hours and hours. They are both very relatable and interesting characters. The author has done a great job in writing these characters. I was really drawn into their story straight away and the author does a great job of keeping the story flowing and keeping the reader fully engrossed in the story. Along the way, you are taken on an emotional journey that pulls at the heartstrings at times. This is very much an opposites attract story. Jeremy is from a very wealthy family, whereas Regan has had a very difficult and poor upbringing. I do like reading an opposites attract story and this is great example of one. I loved this book and it definitely deserves the 5 stars I’m giving it.

Ruthless Heir (Mafia Elite Book 5) by Amy McKinley. I absolutely love this series. This is the 5th book and I have loved each and every one! This one is the story of Luc Savino who has taken on a new business. He and Summer meet in an unconventional way but once they meet sparks fly! Summer is starting a new job and recognizes her boss as a one night stand from last summer. She wonders if this will make her life miserable. Luc now thinks she’s a spy for the other Mafia family. Little does he know but she is on the run from that other family. They have already killed her best friend. When Luc is taking a business trip he takes Summer with him thinking she is the reason money is missing from his bank account. Little does he know she is in danger and its the other family messing with his business. Will Luc and Summer make it out of this alive. I highly recommend reading the first 4 books in order to understand the characters better. Love this series!
The Hunted was an absolutely fantastic read. I loved the chemistry and connection between Sam and Layla. I need the second book asap after that ending lol. I got sucked in (pun intended) and couldn’t put this book down. It was my first book by this author but won’t be the last! Highly recommend if you like paranormal romance and enemies to lovers.

This was a very interesting twist on the demon angel dynamic and I loved it!! Beelzebub (aka Zee) is one of the Seven Princes of Hell. His job is to go around the world and tempt humans with any type of gluttony that he can. He jumps from different hosts, taking possession with permission, and gets the host to experience their hearts desires. He lives through them and experiences it all. It can never be enough to fill his glutenous soul. Once finished he leaves the body broken, weak, and marked for hell. When he comes across a woman who seems to be able to ignore his influence he is intrigued and must try harder to get into her. Clara is an empath and can sense other people’s emotions. She uses her gift of baking to make people feel better. But taking care of others can be draining. She gets weaker with each person that she helps. When Zee appears to her and tells her he is there to help her, she feels a bit off. Thinking he is an angel she starts to trust him only to banish him once she finds out that he is in fact a demon and not the angel she thought. Demons don’t scare away that easy though and unfortunately this demon is attracting other monsters into her life by being around her so much. Fighting to save a soul is not something that he does. He wants to erase them all from the earth! But she is different and he can’t help but be drawn to her. Will his meddling cause more problems then it’s worth? Will this demon protect her soul? Or will he mark it for hell. Will Clara forgive Zee for messing with her life? Or will she die because of it!?! You won’t be disappointed in this book once you pick it up. So hard to put down even!! Enjoy!

This was my first book by this author. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. The way the characters are written allows the reader to easily visualize them and the hot vampire is exactly that, HOT!! They character development in this story is really good but it was the twists and turns (suspense and action) that really made me sink my teeth into it. This book has everything from romance, steam, to suspense. I highly recommend this book because it left me wanting more. I couldn’t stop reading it. The pages blurred together and when the ending happened, I wasn’t prepared or ready for it to be over. Can she stop hunting him and love him? That question is what had me through the whole book.

A god fighting his fate. A prince burdened with secrets. And a romance that could end in flames.
Apollo is a deity… almost. Half mortal and refusing to take his position as god of the sun, he spends his nights drowning out haunting memories and his days avoiding responsibilities.
Until his father forces him into an ultimatum:
Ascend immediately.
Or spend the year mentoring under the obnoxious Prince Hyacinth.
Forced together, Apollo and Hyacinth grapple with their mutual disdain for each other.
But what starts as a kindling of irritation begins to burn into something new. A spark that, if it turns to flame, could incinerate everything they’ve always protected.
A reimagining of the Greek myth of Apollo and Prince Hyacinth, this NA, enemies-to-lovers fantasy series is a whirlwind journey full of romance, intrigue, and enthralling characters.
A Portuguese woman desperate to save her vineyards…
Julia Costa is the best winemaker in the Douro. When a greedy Englishman threatens the land her family has held for generations, Julia prepares to defend her legacy and independence by any means necessary.
The Englishman sent to uncover her secrets…
The last thing Griffin Maxwell wants is to waste time mired in a Portuguese backwater. Still, to guarantee a partnership with Oporto’s largest trading firm, he agrees to travel up the Douro river and chase some reluctant debtor.
A meeting of two cultures…
Nothing prepared Griffin for the headstrong winemaker. Alluring, she tempts him into enjoying Portugal’s vibrant tastes and is a threat to his carefully constructed plans. The arrogant Englishman arrived at Julia’s lands, believing himself entitled to everything, including her heart. But how can she resist an attraction headier than a vintage?
An enemy too powerful to fight alone…
When a mysterious plague decimates Europe’s vineyards, Griffin and Julia put differences aside to find a cure, blind-tasting their way into an intoxicating passion. But reality is less than patient, and they must choose between their ambitions or the love of a lifetime.

I have to say, I enjoyed Beelzebub The Gift of Gluttony far more than I anticipated I would. Once I started this book, I was all in and could not put it down. I loved the characters and the instant heat between Clara and Zee. I thought for sure I knew how the book would end, but then came unexpected twists that proved my predictions all wrong. I look forward to reading more from this author!

Olivia turns Deacon’s head and turns his life upside down again.
Are they destined for happily ever after or fated to break each other apart?
Well that was a rollercoaster of a book! Full of action, cliff hangers and a few tear jerker moments. This was a fantastic first book in the series and I will be continuing in the series.
