Amazing story 5 out of 5 stars for me. The JC Brown and L Lane had me on my toes when it came to Clara and Zee a.k.a Beelzebub. See Clara did not know who Zee was until the truth came out and lead her to seek refuge with God, but Zee got too deep with Clara and had to fight off so many demons and angels so she can be his. In the end, I thought for a fact that Lucifer was going to have Clara and have it his way since Zee was going to disobey him. Now there is one character that I was not so much fond of was Max, he kept on pushing Clara into a relationship but she was not ready. Like she said, ” I’m just not looking for a relationship.”

Angels, demons and temptations Filled with a unique storyline this book is a page turner. Beelzebub is a flirty, mischievous and sexy demon who is confident with what he wants and what he does. Until he meets Clara, a baker and empath. I enjoyed their banter and connection. Once the battle between angels and demons starts the story takes a life of its own. A sinfully delicious read.

Paranormal action romance adventure This book had it all. Loved the characters, the setting and the storyline. I was vested immediately in the characters, especially Sam. The writing is really good and this book is a very strong start to the series. Told in dual POV, Sam and Layla each hold their own. Their passion and connection is off the charts. There is a cliffhanger which makes me eager for book 2.

5 Stars Ruthless Heir (Mafia Elite Book 5) by Amy McKinley
Ruthless Heir is the fifth book in the Mafia Elite Series and my absolute favorite yet. I’ve been waiting for this book and man oh man it didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend reading this series in order if you haven’t already started each book helps in the understanding of what has been going on and you get to know the characters better plus it’s a really good series. From the moment I started reading I knew there was going to be no stopping until I finished. This is Summer and Luc’s story. He’s about to take over as the new Heir and shes fixing to be on the run. I really don’t want to give to much away. These characters have a chemistry between them and there is definitely attraction. Get ready to be taken on quite the ride and be prepared to be hanging onto the edge of your seat there’s definitely some twists and turns. I highly recommend reading not only this book but the whole series. I can’t wait for more from this Author.

This book was a bit dark, but the story overall was amazing. There was drama, angst, suspense, lust, love, and redemption. Emotionally you will be on a roller coaster because its a rocky road on their second time around. Olivia and Deacon had a lot of things to overcome, but on this 2nd chance they held on to each other harder than they ever have. The twists and turns throw in only draw you in more, and its a book you definitely read more than once.

I loved this book!! While it was a light novella that was meant to be romantic and fun it also held a deeper meaning that many will relate to. Shamrock and Clover came together at the right time in their lives. The bona fide playboy and the girl who cannot catch a break. This story is sweet, funny, and heartfelt. I will definitely pick up a book by this author again.

Luc and Summer are pure electricity! This was such a great Mafia romance and it was so great finally getting to meet Luc and seeing how he reacts to being the heir to the Brambilla arm of the Five Families. If you haven’t read the previous books in this series you definitely need to because not only are they all amazing but they give great background on the other men and their wives. Summer is so tough but also vulnerable and something about her speaks to Luc from the moment he lays eyes on her. Things quickly spin out of control after a hot night together when Summer won’t reveal who and what she’s running from. Everything starts to fall into place the more time they spend together but there are some really terrifying twists and turns the closer they get. The ending is so beautiful, this is one action packed Mafia romance that you won’t want to miss!

Until There Was You by G Colegrove 5 out of 5 Stars
While this was my first read from G Colegrove, it certainly will not be my last. This book captivates the audience from the first chapter and leaves you wanting more. I would give this book 100 stars if I could! Phenomenal story—one of the best that I have read lately. I could not put it down!
The characters emitted a noticeable chemistry from their very first encounter, which continued to sizzle with sexual energy and romance throughout. Regan is from the wrong side of the tracks, fresh out of school, working at her friend’s diner, contemplating what to do with her life. Growing up with an addicted mother and a criminal brother, she did not have the best family life. Coming from a very shattered home life, Regan was used to taking care of herself and was a pro at keeping people at a distance. Jeremy was a drop dead gorgeous, rich boy, from LA, who was used to having everything that he desired. While this has been the lifestyle he had been accustomed to his entire life, he hates all the fake people associated with it, especially woman who only want him for his good looks and bank account. He is tired of being under his father’s thumb and is anxious to make a name for himself.
From the time their paths crossed at the diner, neither could get the other out of their minds. Although intrigued with Jeremy’s good looks, the last thing that Regan wanted to do was get involved with a snobby, rich brat who had everything handed to him on a silver platter. Jeremy could not get the beautiful waitress from the diner out of his mind. Jeremy was no stranger to beautiful woman—they throw themselves at him regularly, however there was a realness to Regan that added to her physical beauty; a combination that Jeremy just could not get out of his mind. Jeremy, confident and use to going after what he wants, remains diligent in pursuing Regan, until she succumbs to his charm and wit, and the sexual tension that neither can deny.
A roller coaster of emotions, sexually explicit, and full of love and laughter, Until There Was You, I that makes a story that leaves your heart full and believing that happily ever after might just be possible after all.

22-year-old Greer is ripped from her small Paris life and thrust into the world of the casket girls of New Orleans. There she finds herself living in a convent, promised to a man who is a stranger to her. As Greer begins to experience dreams of a nightly visitor she calls the Dark Knight, she awakens to a frightening fact, the visions are real – Greer and her friends are being fed upon by whatever lurks in their casket-shaped cases.

To free Theron, and save her friends, Greer must offer a sacrifice to the lord of the Underworld, but will it be enough, especially when Hades is the least of their problems?
Blood & Ravens, a dark, paranormal romance, takes place in 1728 New Orleans. This is book one of The Casket Girls Series.

This was such a cute and fun short story! I loved Clover and Patrick’s relationship. She was so innocent and he went “From king of the single lads to royalty among married men…” and it was great. If you’re looking for a cute short romance this is the book for you! One of many greats by the author.
Layla is a human who hunts vampires as that is what she was raised around with her family. Her next target takes her for a spin since Sam is someone she can’t keep her eyes off of. She doesn’t want him (That’s her brain talking, not her heart), but she needs his help to save her sisters. This first book is already sexy, dangerous, drama filled, and so entertaining that’ll you’ll want to finish it. BUT the cliffhanger though! I am ready for the second book immediately, so get ready for that as well! 🙂

Shamrock & Clover: Fields Apart is a cute little romance. I enjoy some things by this author. I’m starting to learn as I read more books by the author, they are hit or miss. I liked this one but I didn’t love it. Being it was a shorter story it took till about midway through for the main characters to meet. It put me off a little bit but didn’t ruin the story. Shamrock “Patrick” is a forever bachelor. Who is starting to realize how alone he is, due to his partying ways. Clover is a hardworking girl. One who has her head in the clouds when it comes to love. Shamrock and Clover are perfect for each other right? Not as easy as one would think. If you are sweet on short little romances, this book is DEFINITELY for you!
Clover only has her grandma who was like her mother. She works at a bar to take care of the bills for her care as well as taking care of herself. Shamrock aka Patrick is a man almost every woman has been with single or not. All of his friends are finding their other half while he ends up the only bachelor left. Well, Luck may have it that these two meet in a very interesting way. They have to learn about their own clover leaf and the one they are missing: Luck. This is such a sweet and loving romance!
Beelzebub: The Gift of Gluttony (A Sinful Seven Novel) by J.C. Brown and Lena Lane is a paranormal romance, with fantasy, demons, and plenty of temptation. This is the first book that I have read from either of these two authors, so I was reallly excited to see what they could do- and WOW, what a story they wove. Keeping me well and truly hooked the whole way through. What happens when one of the princes of hell sets his sights on a human baker? One who seems able to resist his ‘charms’? Well, this story is definitely worth the read to find out. Looking forward to exploring more of these two talented authors work. Happy reading!

Romance is my guilty pleasure genre, so I absolutely love this book. It was everything I had imagined it was. Regan is such an amazing character in this story. I feel like I can relate to her because of the horrible home life before I moved out. The ups and downs in this story I feel like are based on a real relationship. Every relationship goes through ups and downs and get through them like Regan and Jeremy does. I highly recommend this story if you love romance.

This is such a fun story. I found this to be completely entertaining from start to finish. It is a short and sweet romance that swept me uo into the pages. I was hooked as soon as I started reading. I loved the characters too. They were so well suited and I really wanted them to find their way. This is an author that I love every single time I pick up one of their books. No matter what type of book the author knows exactly how to pull the readers in. This is yet another success that I would highly recommend.
This is a great romance story with some truly likeable characters. For me this book was all about the characters. They were engaging and really real. You could feel their connection and I felt like you could really imagine everything about them. I enjoyed their journey throughout the book and could see the character develop the author was going for. I thought the book was well written. I found it to be quite an easy read and one I read pretty quickly. It is an entertaining story that is certainly enjoyable.

Clover has been searching for her luck ever since her grandmother Sophie told her the story of a shamrock having the luck that holds faith, hope and love together. Sophie has recently passed and Cliver feels there is nothing left. That’s when she meets Patrick, or Shamrock as he is known to his friends and every woman he has ever had contact with. Shamrock is realizing that his life is no longer just about partying and having fun with women, it’s about finding the one that makes his heart skip a beat. It took him years to realize that love wasn’t as bad as he thought it was. There first meeting wasn’t exactly how you would think love would bloom but he found a way to show her there was way more to his reputation than what she heard. Hope to see more from Clover and Shamrock in the future.

There are moments in life that take us to a place in our minds that we never wish to revisit. Loss tends to take away our ability to see the sunshine, rainbows and silver linings of this life. This seems to very much be the problem that Deacon, our main man in this experience, suffers from and the hits just keep coming. Luckily for him, he has his Disciples, his chosen family to have his back through the good and the bad. They seem to really keep him in check and do whatever they can to help me regain his footing. The author does an immaculate job at portraying the hardships of life, the emotional roller coaster, and the personality of an overall incredibly loving and caring man and his family throughout. I couldn’t put the novel down, and let it eat up most of this past weekend, without complaint, of course!
Now, Olivia, or Liv as her nearest and dearest refer to her as, has many of the same hardships, losses and issues that Deacon has been experiencing, both having lost their fathers, and feeling like the weight of the world rest on their shoulders. Liv’s issues continue to develop as the story moves forward, and things start to get really unclear as to what she is to deem right, and wrong in her choices. Luckily for these two, they know that when times get extraordinarily tough, they will be there for each other, too, no matter what. This story was fantastic from start to finish what with the character development, world building, and suspense, and I cannot wait to continue this series, an find out more about Sinner’s back story. Highly recommend!

This book had me hooked from the very beginning! As someone with a similar background to Regan, I was very empathetic to her story and fell in love with her from the very beginning. Even during the times in the story that reminded me of my own childhood, I was drawn in and had a hard time putting the book down. Add in the chemistry between her and Jeremy and this was a fast read for me! Definitely not the last book that I will be reading by this author!

With South Africa heading towards winter, this is the perfect “cosy next to the fire” read. It’s short and sweet and was exactly the fun lighthearted read I needed after all the dark stuff I’ve read. The characters are superbly written and the really grow through out the book especially Patrick. His personal growth and emotional maturing really resonates with me. A great book yet again from this talented author
Shamrock & Clover: Field’s Apart by C.A. King 4 of 5 Stars An enjoyable and engaging contemporary romance with an opposites attract theme, which kept me happily turning the pages. Clover and Patrick (Shamrock) have different views on love, she’s a saint and he’s a sinner. However, when they meet in this romantic comedy the unlikely couple may just have found love with one other. I thoroughly enjoyed this short but sweet story and loved the main characters, Clover and Shamrock, and I was cheering them on hoping they would get their HEA. A heartwarming read with a storyline full of emotions, humour, and of course romance.

This was another great book by one of my favorite authors. If you have never read one of her books, I suggest you start now with this one. She’s a fantastic writer and has an amazing way of drawing the reader into the world they are reading about. She always makes me feel like I am living the story through her description and narration of the story. This was a shorter story than some of the books I am used to reading from her, but none the less was just as good. I don’t feel that the length of the book took away from any of the story. I will say that this one was a little slow at the beginning and took me a couple of chapters to really get into, but once I did I couldn’t put it down. It was very entertaining, and I loved the characters chemistry.
I truly and thoroughly enjoyed this book! I could not put it down!! It was a little bit of danger, mystery, and a whole lot of love! I gave this book 4 stars because I wanted more! The author did an awesome job of describing the characters, the places and emotions that the characters were feeling at the time. Vanessa and Arkon, the book’s main characters have an electrifying relationship from the very start. I won’t go into too much detail because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone! This book is definitely a must read! I look forward to reading the other books in the series.

This was my first book from this author and let me tell you, I’ll be picking up more! The characters were written so well which can be difficult with dual POV, but the author knocked it out of the park. I cannot remember the last book I finished this quickly and I definitely missed a good chunk of sleep because I couldn’t put it down.
The chemistry between Regan and Jeremy is potent and I enjoyed every minute of the up-and-down drama, humor, and romance between them. Regan comes from a not-so-great family, but it gives her the drive to make it on her own. Myrna is the mother figure that Regan needs and while she doesn’t have huge moments in this book, I feel that her presence is still felt throughout it.
Jeremy seems like he has it all until he meets Regan and everything changes. Regan knocks him out of his autopilot lifestyle and makes us all feel what he’s going through. The connection between these two is amazing but will it be enough in the long run?
