The synopsis peaked my interest as an original take on a dystopian world and had me curious about what this book would be like, it definitely lives up to its title: Born to Fight.
Anne writes in a way that draws you into her unique world building, lovable characters and their plots. Anne gives us insight to the past and blends it well into the present. It is a fast-paced read and can be finished in one sitting.
I enjoyed reading this novel and look forward to reading the next one that is coming out soon!

enjoyed this romance story. This is the first book in this series which I enjoyed and look forward to seeing what is next in this series. This is a well written story about friendship and a willingness to fight for life. This is a fast paced story that kept me engaged to the end. The characters are connectable and bring out different emotions throughout the story. I enjoyed being pulled into the story from the beginning as well as how the characters brought the story to life. This is a story that is written with a lot of heart and will pull at your heartstrings. It is a journey from illness to a day when choices have to be made. I really enjoyed this story and the growth of the plot throughout. I highly recommend this book.

Teague is the perfect wounded prince. My heart broke for Teague during so much of this story. He is such an amazing guy that fought for his country but didn’t feel like he deserved happiness or that he could ever hold on to it. Christi Bart did an amazing job of showing his vulnerability and that scared little boy still locked deep inside of him. Amelia was his beacon of light for so many years that I was rooting for them the whole time. If there were ever two people absolutely meant for each other and soulmates without a doubt it’s Teague and Amelia. This story tugged at my heart and made me shed so many tears while also making me laugh and smile and swoon. This is a book definitely not to be missed!

The Nightshade Guild: Sea Mage by Louisa Bacio is a well written and interesting story. It easily drew me in and kept my attention for the whole way through. This is the first book that I have read by this author so I didn’t know to expect. What I found was ql developed and likea me characters set in the midst of a great story. I enjoyed the dynamic between the characters and how that effected the story. I liked the way the author constructed the story too. She knows how to get your attention and make sure she holds it for the whole book. This was a great story and I will definitely read more by this author in the future.

This book really tugged at my heartstrings. Sasha is such an amazing, spirited woman. It doesn’t take long for Arnaud to realize that he has finally met his match. I really enjoyed the mystery aspect of this book, where they had to work together to search for clues to lead them to the key. Watching Arnaud and Sasha grow closer and see the sparks fly between the two of them was magical. It was so heart rending to find out more about the health struggles that Sasha is facing and not being sure where the story will lead. The ending was absolutely worth the tears shed on the way there. I am so excited to read the next book in this series and learn more about Theo and his backstory.

Ok so when I first read the blurb for this book, I knew I wanted to dive straight in because ‘Me Before You’ is one of my favourite books especially when I need a good cry so I thought I would give Come Back Tomorrow as its sounded similar in theme and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. I think the first thing I’ll say is I was glad it wasn’t the same as the book mentioned and it stands on his own as an amazing and emotional read. Tori and Will’s story was beautifully heart-breaking to read. I was right there with all of the emotions that each other characters was feeling and the author did a wonderful job of binging these emotions through so well. It was sad but not sad, I loved the bod that Tori and Will built and how she was able to help him work through his feelings but also, I loved how he was able to help her also. The author gave her writing such a realistic feel that it did feel like I was watching a film at times as I was reading – I was able to visualise everything so well. The descriptions of Will’s artwork especially came through. I can’t wait for the next instalment – I am prepared for it to be very emotional but I need more of Tori and Will (also Jenny too!!)

Yet again another 5-star read from Ms Mari – absolutely love her books! Allie and Nick’s story was so captivating to read. I loved them both so much. Allie was a great female lead -strong, sassy and definitely independent! The chemistry between the two of these characters was scorching hot – I mean seriously hot! I think they are definitely my favourite couple from this series (and I have loved all the previous ones too)! There was so much going on in this story that I literally could not put it down and read it in one sitting! Ms Mari’s writing is so exciting to read, she brings her story to life on every single page and I adore her work. I cannot wait to read more from her in the future and I certainly recommend this 5-star book to other readers!

This was my first romance book that featured BDSM and boy did it take me by a surprise! This book left nothing to the imagination when it comes to describing exactly what’s going on. The only reason for the 3 stars is that this isn’t my jam when it comes to reading. The book has a strong plot, but the BDSM was a little much for me. The book did make me want to become a secret spy because of all the action that place.

The world as we know it is gone. Technology is obsolete and it seems as though the apocalypse has hit with a new leader taking over. During a time of war comes love. We have a female lead; Rain, she is strong and feisty If you are a fan of The Hunger Games and The Walking Dead then this is your type of vibe. This book may trigger some I advise an adult audience. This book has you on the edge just telling Rain to risk it all. This is just the book you need if you are in a slump. Five stars, for the romance, the wonder and the amazing story that has you wanting to read faster but slow down so it doesn’t end.

I was able to jump right into this book as well as the world to which the character resides. I found it to be a fun read and realistic, and an adventure for anyone truly. I loved the details of the surroundings and defiantly enjoyed the character growth! I feel it was a great read, and its something you will for sure enjoy!
Personally a world set with mermaids and mythical creatures how the heck could I not love this book and dive right into it? I found the story and full of development from all ends. Serena reminded me of what my teenage self was. Believing I could do anything really, and I was independent, which I was. I realized though as Serena did in certain occurrences it can be frightening or more unwelcoming and sometimes you may need help more than you realize. And to me that can be one of the hardest things to do for sure! I really admired Serena, she had a important task to protect in truth, but danger and not planned occurrences take place, she had to step forth and be strong willed. She was very realistic which I admired!
Peter was also an interesting character, the one Serena had to call upon. I enjoyed learning of his nature and how hos character certainly impacted and added the story and plot. I found this a fun read, a intriguing adventure of its own, and a good story line. In our hearts no matter what we face, if we are true and truly believe in who we are what we are meant to be, anything is possible! Wonderful felt read!
As I said, really enjoyed this amazing novel by a talented author! I think a lot of people would benefit from such a wonderful story, and the happy little feels you get in your heart as you read it, really add to the wonderful feeling and positive moments as you read though! It was very well written and I enjoyed it truly from the introduction of the characters and plot to the end! It is defiantly a recommended read!

What can I say, other than my partner will be forever grateful to Ivy Nelson for this series? I never thought that I would develop an interest in the BDSM lifestyle, nor find enjoyment out of reading this type of novel, but I can certainly say both are on my radar now. I do have the full series of Diamond Doms in my collection, however, did not have the ability to read all of them prior to this marvelous conclusion. Luckily, I found it quite easy to piece together most of what has transpired before Russell and Gemma’s story. I truly do look forward to reading the rest of this series as soon as time permits!
At the very start of this action, crazy love story, you’re pulled into Solitaire, pretty much the most frequented, and ultimate retreat for many of the characters, being that it provides them with the place to do what they all embrace in their BDSM lifestyles. Immediately, we are curious about Gemma, and Russell and how the two of them will get along. There is an immediate ZING in the air between them, and it’s nearly impossible to put the book down because the amount of curiosity built in this first chapter carries on throughout the entire novel. This love story is a bonus to the action plot that this group has to endure and resolve, which in itself, is mind-blowing. If you’re looking for an action-packed, edge of your seat read, with the most intriguing, descriptive sex scenes you could ever imagine, this book is for you! I have nothing but good things to say about the craftsmanship that went into creating this work of art, thank you, Ivy Nelson, for this new venture. Highly recommend!

This book was a great read to begin with but towards the end it seemed to end a bit abruptly. The character building of Hunter, Rain, Kayla and Sawyer was so good, but I wish there was more world building as well. Hunter and Rain really draw you in but would love to see the next books to show more of Kayla and Sawyer. Over all the book was a good apocalyptic Survival book. Can’t wait to read more by this author

Come Back Tomorrow is the first book in the Embrace Tomorrow Duet and debut novel by Amy Argent. This is a very angsty, heart-wrenching and emotional read, so I highly suggest having some tissues on hand while reading -as you are definitely going to need them. Be prepared to have your emotions toyed with while reading this story- Ms. Argent doesn’t hold back and gave my heart quite a workout. While this story is quite sad and emotionally taxing- it is also sweet, with an underlaying message of hope and about finding a reason to live- making for a memorable read. If highly angsty stories about facing death, mortality, medical issues, and terminal cancer cause you distress- then maybe this book isn’t for you. But, like I said, there is definitely more to this story, and Ms. Argent does a fantastic job of choreographing all the elements into a great read. This story is set to continue in the second book, and I can’t wait to find out how things turn out in the end!

Born to Fight (Can’t Resist You Book 1) by Brittany Anne – Review by Krista Vaughan
A dystopian novel about a man named Hunter and his involvement with the Resistance, fighting to take down the UNR. He is a trained soldier and he is a powerful fighter and leader. Rain has been hiding in an old bunker for two years surviving just fine until she finds Hunter after he is almost killed in battle. She takes him in and helps him heal. The chemistry between these two is hot and steamy! Rain has a secret, though. Will it room everything? Love this story!

Ivy Nelson officially has me hooked! This book had everything you need to get your fix on dominant, alpha type men! I could not put this book down once I began. Russell and Gemma definitely heated up the pages, but also gave us a few tender moments. While the book does have some very intense BDSM there is also a fair amount of danger and suspense. We also get to explore the loving side of Russel when it comes to Gemma. This was my second book by Ivy Nelson but I can say I will definitely be exploring the entire series.

Come Back Tomorrow (Embrace Tomorrow Duet Book 1) by Amy Argent is a romance book. It is like Looking for a book that will stay with you like Me Before You or The Fault in Our Stars, but with a happy ending? Then Come Back Tomorrow is your next must-read angsty romance.
William Everson, Jr. is a young man who is dying of cancer and is completely alone. She meets him as part of her quest to befriend terminal cancer patients who have no visitors, but it takes me a long time to get to know “Will” and discover anything about his family, friends, or why he has a DNR order.”Can I come back the next day?”That’s the question she usually asks at the end of their meetings. It alters both of them forever when it becomes his question—”Will you come back tomorrow?” Will has given up on life, but she is not going down without a fight. Is what they discuss, however, enough to make Will reconsider any of his decisions… before it’s too late?
Come Back Tomorrow chronicles a heartbreaking journey from disease to the brink of death, when a vital decision must be made: accept your fate or fight with everything you’ve got. I loved this story and the concept of it as well. I loved every page of it. Every chapter was exciting. This is the first book that I have read from this author, I cant wait to read more.

Born to fight is set in time where America has fallen and the UNR is in control of everything. Hunter Kane has been trained since birth to be the ultimate soldier. He leads the Resistance. Rain has run away from a traumatic past and has been in contact with another human for 2 years.
I really enjoyed Born to fight. I’ve always been a fan of love stories with characters from different worlds. Definitely action packed and kept my nose stuck in this book. Brittany did an amazing job. I could really picture the story in my mind as I read.

Born to Fight (Can’t Resist You Book 1) by Brittany Anne is the first of two books in this Can’t Resist You series. It is also the first book I’ve picked up by this author, and I have to say it was enjoyable. This is a dystopian romance that puts main character Rain with Resistance Leader Hunter Kane as they join together to survive the end of America. The premise of this novel is very intriguing, and my attention was grabbed and held until the very end. There is a ton of action to keep you at the edge of your seat, and I recommend giving this book a try. I give this one 4 stars.

Born to Fight (Can’t Resist You Book 1) by Brittany Anne 4 of 5 Stars This is an enjoyable and engaging dystopian romance set in a world which has gone dark and in which America has fallen. Technology no longer works and mobile phones are just a distant memory, the UNR controls everything and people are slaves. Within this world our main characters Hunter and Rain are thrown together when Rain saves Hunter’s life. Despite their instant chemistry and the romance that develops between them, they both have secrets. Hunter Kane is a leader for the Resistance who has been trained to be the ultimate soldier and take down the UNR. Meanwhile Rain had been hiding in a bunker and had not seen another person for two years when she found Hunter barely alive, but couldn’t leave him to die. Rain believes in the Resistance and has dreamed of them for years hoping they were real but she’s worried how Hunter will react when he discovers who she really is. The author has done a wonderful job of world building and her descriptive narrative really brings the dystopian world that Hunter and Rain find themselves in to life. I felt totally immersed in their story and could visualise their world which made me feel engaged with them. Hunter and Rain are great main characters, likeable and relatable and the chemistry between them was instant and led to some steamy scenes. This was a gripping page turner that had me hook from page one, and as it’s book one in a series I look forward to book two.

This book get you hooked straight away. An apolpolytic world with the duystion theme is really well through out and brought to reality in this book. Tenacious: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari is the sixth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. This is a fantastic series that just gets better with each book. This has easily become my favourite book in the series, although I’m sure that will only last for as long as it takes to read the next one. This book really is brilliant from start to finish. I could not put it down once I had started reading, I was far too engrossed in the characters and their story. This author knows exactly how to create a gripping book. Each one I read is exactly the same and I never hesitate to pick up a book by her. This is a series that i would highly recommend.

I feel I often start my reviews the same way, and that’s with talking about how the beginning sucked me in. I think that’s what makes me so excited to read a book!! And this book: Did. Not. Disappoint. I didn’t even make it through the first pages of chapter one before I smiled so big I thought it’d fall off my face. I really enjoy a beginning that hooks me and this one really did. The characters are *chefs kiss.* Hunter is OOMPH! Rain is everything I would want for Hunter! Born to Fight is the first in the Can’t Resist You series and it’s a book I couldn’t resist!! Brittany Anne is a hell of an author and I’m excited this was my first read from her! Onto the next!

This is the 9th book in the Diamond Doms series. This is a Dark Romance novel and is 322 pages in length. This story follows Russell and Gemma. Russell is tasked with keeping his friends wife, Holly, safe, along with her bff, Gemma. The problem with Gemma, is she is a giant pain in the rear. But one he kind of likes. So much so, she makes his dom side twitch. But he cannot lose focus on the task at hand. People could die. This was a great ending to a great series.

Wrong for Him by Christi Barth is book three of the Love Lottery series. This book can be read as a standalone but if you want to get the whole feel of the series and meet the other characters, start with book one. I didn’t but will definitely be going back to read the other two books. This book is Amelia and Teague’s story.
Amelia and Teague have history. He is Amelia’s brother’s best friend. Clearly that makes him off limits. Especially since Alex made him a partner in the inn they are restoring. Teague is really appreciative of Amelia’s friendship, especially while he was deployed. Which is another reason crossing the line with her seems like a bad idea. Can they have a secret relationship and not burn Al of their bridges?
I read enjoyed this book! I really like the characters. Teague fought so hard to fight his attraction to Amelia. He wanted to do what he felt was the right thing, even if that meant sacrificing his own happiness. There was so much emotion packed into this book!

Forever was first my novel by Ivy Nelson, and I found it rather interesting. This novel was not an introduction to a sadist and masochist sub-lifestyle but a deep plunge. There were certain scenes that I found uncomfortable, but Ivy’s creative writing style kept me engaged. I liked the chemistry between Russell and Gemma- the struggle between head and heart was very relatable. Forever is encompassed with hot off the charts chemistry, suspense, action and mystery.
