Read this one on a weekend and it was definitely the quick read that I was looking for! I loved the instant attraction they had and the loyalty that the main characters showed each other from the start. It had its witty moments as well as a few serious ones but all in all it was a very sweet story!

Caught by Him is a very cute, sweet, opposites attract romance. Being a short light hearted read, this book gave me that chick-flick feeling and was easy to get yourself immersed in. Brodie and Willa are extremely likable characters, well written and easy to connect with. There was quite a nice pace to this book, with some Jealousy and Ex Drama thrown in. Overall, I enjoyed this book and will definitely read more from Tammy Mannersly.

Caught by him is the first book that I have read by Ms. Mannersly and it won’t be the last. This was a short romance story with great characters that are well written with a great plot.
When they say opposites attract you could see this when you meet Brody Nash and Willabelle Stone. Willabelle is only helping her grandfather out but after losing the key to his house, she tries to climb the fence and this is when she meets the famous actor Brody Nash. As they start to get to know each other and get closer their ex’s show up and set out to destroy their new relationship.
Can their newfound relationship stay strong with the rough start and misunderstandings?

This book will have you hooked from start to finish! I loved the mystery and intrigue of Matt / Max’s identity, the badassness of the mafia princesses, and the loyalty/hate the characters had for one another.
At first it was a bit confusing keeping all the family trees separate, and I had to flip to the beginning of the book a couple of times to see the tree they provided, but I feel it was really well written and easy to understand after a short time of getting to know the characters.
I like that the book had more than one point of view so you got both main characters’ thoughts and feelings. I’m very interested to see where things go in the next book!

Forbidden Mate (Book 2 of The Shadow Chronicles) by C.R. Robertson is AMAZING!! I was hooked in book 1 and now I’m so upset there isn’t a book 3, but it was such a good series. Tasha and Levi continue trying to help both of their species to ally and help defeat the 3rd species. In doing so, they learn new things about each species in their past. During the battles, there are more drama stories and adventures which help lead them to what they need to know. I simply love the friendships, relationships, and comradeships that were made in this book. I wish some of them were my friends! Please make sure to read this series!! You will not be disappointed! 🙂

Caught by Him by Tammy Mannersly is a sweet romantic story about an unexpected meeting bringing love. The characters are so easy to connect with. This is quite a quick, easy read that takes no getting into. You just engage with the story straight away. I always enjoy the writing style of this author. I find it to be well paced with some great character development. As with all of her stories I thought this book was thoroughly enjoyable and an overall great book.

4.5 out of 5. A cute “why choose” romance that takes Greek Mythology and turns it on its head.
I typically find the second book in a series harder to get through than the first but this book had me reading through to see what happened next.
The God picks up where The Don leaves off, with Vanessa transported to the Underworld, Grey’s domain. She is concerned about her brother and mother, but knows what she did was the right choice. Now if only she can have the three guys circling her the way she wants, but Aroz can only partially appear, Grey has left her alone in his home, and Raef can’t travel to the Underworld. What’s a girl to do?
I enjoyed the further exploration of the relationships Vanessa has with each of the men. Grey takes front and center of this book, leaving me to assume one of the other men will do so for book 3.
Grey certainly lives up to the “asshole” category Vanessa has for men, basically ignoring her and running from her anytime she gets close to him. In the end though she literally turns everything Grey knows on its head and confronts his way of thinking. I enjoyed finally getting to see a softer side of him, as well as what goes on behind the scenes of Elysium.
I really enjoyed the addition of the new side characters. Gorgonita, Medusa’s daughter, whose essence has been housed in a handheld mirror, is integral to the storyline and acts as a bit of side-kick to Vanessa on her escapades throughout Elysium. I loved the addition of PK and her calls for food.
Can’t wait to read book 3 to see what’s in store for Vanessa and her men, uh I mean Gods.

Forbidden Mates takes us back into the world of Vampire Tasha and Lycan Levi. Having helped form a very rocky peace agreement between their two species, Tasha and Levi are still fighting to keep both their relationship and their species in tact. They are facing danger from not only outside sources like hellspawn, but friction within their groups as well.
These books are so great. Tasha and Levi are a formidable force together, and I enjoyed seeing their relationship grow and become stronger in this second novel. The enemies are becoming stronger and more clever, which I enjoyed. I am really looking forward to the third book in the series….except that is the end of their journey! I could read 100 more novels about this couple and never get tired of it! 5/5 Stars! Highly recommend!

It was a short, quick read. I thought Willa and Brody were sweet together. Overall, the plot was very light and things moved along. The conflict with Hayden and Carmody made sense to the story. I would have wished for just a little bit more depth overall. In the end though, it was a cute story.

No Way Out is the first book I have read by Amy McKinley. It is also the first time I’ve read this genre in a while! Overall, the story was really good! It was dramatic, tense, and action-packed. Amy McKinley did a great job at building the relationship between Lil and Max. Throughout the book, I could feel the chemistry and connection between the two characters. I will be on the lookout for more by this author!

Ever want to read a romcom that unfolds like one of your favorite binge worthy movies? Are you like me and miss the classic Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan banter or watching Sandra Bullock hilariously carry another comedy toward a happy ending? This book was just such a fun read for me. The characters were real and I loved the witty dialogue. It unfolded before like a beloved Saturday afternoon flick. I love this author’s ability to pull me right in and cannot wait to read this again.

The sequel following Forbidden Wolf, Forbidden Mate follows the story of Tasha and Levi right where we left off in the first book. Many series I’ve read in the past begin to lose their luster after the first book, but C.R. Robertson doesn’t disappoint! With the same epic world-building, C.R. Robertson delivers this sequel with a firm grip on our attention with action, fantastic twists, and an intense love story. In Forbidden Mate, Tasha and Levi uncover certain truths behind past events and continue fighting to take out their hellish enemies. We’re taken deeper into the world of the supernatural and once-again craving the next book.

Oh. I needed this story so much right now. It had me hooked from the beginning. I adore Dahlia! She is an unstoppable force! She refuses to let anything stand in her way. She set out to prove to herself she can do it and she did. That includes her used to be best friend Levi. They are pushed together for a project. Will their hearts get pushed back together again? I loved their chemistry and just connection. I pinky swear you won’t regret reading this series!! I could not recommend this more!!

Oh, my shadows! This is the second book in this series and it picks up right where the first left off. I enjoyed the forbidden angle of their love in the first book. With the accords approved their love is approved even though it is still a fight to prove themselves. As if that wasn’t enough as they also have the hellspawn growing in strength. Causing more strife for Lycans and vampires alike. I cant wait to see how this series plays out. The story is not like others I have read.

We once again join our leading characters Tasha and Levi. Although their union of vampire and lycan has been approved through the accords. It’s still not 100% accepted.
This book starts off right where the previous ended. And there is not a moment without action happening. The hellspawn are getting stronger and they are learning more each day. But sometimes the enemy is right under your lycan noses.
I cannot wait to grab the next in this series! Review by @michellerenee6590

Forbidden Mate (The Shadow Chronicles Book 2) by CR Robertson 4 Stars
The excitement continues in book two of this series. The love between Levi and Tasha continues to defy the odds. Law states that they are sworn enemies yet they are fated mates. The alliance between the Lycans and the Vampires have only made them stronger to defeat the new enemy. Just as they are evolving, so are the Hellspawn. They too are learning and evolving, becoming a formidable foe. The master hellspawn wants one thing only. The one thing Levi will burn the world to protect; Tasha. There are enemies within as well. Each day poses a new problem.
Action, danger, vampires and werewolves. What more could you want? The author keeps drawing you in by adding layers to the plot. There are unexpected surprises as well. This series gets better with each book. I can’t wait to read the next instalment. Review by @Anna Hirsch

This is filled and I mean filled with ACTION! It has other elements like drama, suspense and of course the relationships. While I loved all the action and drama my favorite is the relationship between Tasha and Levi! His protective possessiveness of her just made my heart pound. I loved seeing it every time from him pushing her behind and putting his arm across her in dangerous times to actually fighting anyone who is unfriendly to her. Tasha isn’t a pushover and can hold her own especially when her mate is threatened. Their connection is what makes this so much more.
The storyline was busy and fast paced. I like all the ups and downs that this story took. I enjoyed the character movement plus we get to see a lot of new characters. I am not sure where or which way the story is headed. I have been surprised more than once in here. Very Enjoyable

Drew: Book One of the Perfectly Independent Series by Amanda Shelley is a YA college romance story. It is a story of first love. Abby sees Drew as a jock with an attitude and Drew thinks she is a nerd, so they quickly chucked each other in the friend zone. I enjoyed the banter that was tossed between them as they go from friend zone to something more. They both have ambition and a plan in place for their futures so will achieving their passion come before love? I loved the humour between their friends and the slow burn build of their relationship. This romance story has some angst and moments of sadness but overall, it is a fun and sweet read.

Dylan O’Day has been an exemplary marine biologist for years, constantly devoted to the protection and preservation of the natural world. Yet lately, he has a new passion, one that’s distracting his once focused thoughts. Though a decade older than her and her trusted mentor, Dylan hasn’t been able to stop thinking about the new intern. He’s never met a person quite like Kyra before, someone so genuine and caring, and who understands his love of environmental conservation. It’s just too bad his age and situation put him in an ethical dilemma. Should he risk it all for a chance at happiness or insist on keeping their relationship platonic?
Kyra Shine began interning only a few months ago at the Merchant Marine Science Centre and she’s already crushing hard on the boss’ son. Jake Merchant might be the bad boy of the team, but he seems perfect. They share a love of nature, especially the ocean and spend their days watching over the endangered turtles nesting along the coast. While her mentor—the sweet, but overprotective Dylan—disagrees with her growing infatuation, Kyra’s sure his scathing assessment of Jake is misinformed. Surely, the two men are more alike than they realize.
After discovering the turtle nests raided in the night, the Science Centre team goes on high alert, until a dangerous interaction with illegal poachers shatters reputations. Can the team save their beloved turtles before another nest is ransacked? Will Dylan overcome his concerns to tell Kyra how he truly feels before her heart is completely lost to another?

When Brody Nash takes some time away from filming movies to get into character for an upcoming role, he is shocked to find someone breaking into the house next door. When he finds out the would-be criminal is the granddaughter of the house’s owner…he lets her go on her way. But there is something about her that Brody is drawn to. He’s not looking for a relationship, but he definitely wants to spend more time with Willa. But…his new assistant seems to have a thing for him and doesn’t seem to want him and Willa to be together.
Willa’s first encounter with her neighbor for the next few months is when she is climbing over the gate because she can’t seem to find the right key. She finds the new man to be good looking, intriguing, and somewhat familiar. Even if she knows she needs to spend her time working, she wants to spend more time getting to know Brody. Their relationship heats up quickly…but why is her ex showing up at her grandfather’s place. And why does Brody’s assistant seem to be working with her ex to split them up?
This is an insta-romance that is a very quick read and just enough drama to keep it interesting. Brody and Willa are both great characters that seem to balance each other out. You can tell from the get-go that the assistant and the ex are not gonna be good people. I enjoyed this quick-paced book.

Ride For Me was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning. This is Gage and Lil’s story.
Lil is part of a group of friends that call themselves “The Crew”, one night during a get together Mace’s cousin Gage joins them. There is something about him that pulls Lil in and when they touch there is a definite spark. I had a LOL moment when they first see each other. Gage can feel the connection with Lil but his tragic past is keeping him from fully giving into his attraction to her at first.
What will happen when he finally gives in? Will Lil’s past ruin things for them?
Overall this was a great read and I LOVED all of the characters and their personalities. My emotions were all over the place. And the ending, all I can say is OMG. The author does a great job with her writing and I can’t wait to read more from this series. 1-click and get started today.
