Wow! Sugar and Spice is right! That’s exactly what Phoebe Alexander delivers in this page turner with surprises on every page! The lead characters were a surprise to me when I began but they quickly grow on you as you learn more about their human side and their motives! Will be very interested to see where this series goes!

In historical romance there are things you expect and there are things that you expect to be glossed over or changed for the genre such as the treatment of women. However, it was very jarring to continuously have the Earl and every other man think about the main character Emily as a possession. As is always the case, I wish there was a longer time between the meeting and the proper relationship starting because it felt very rushed to me that they got married and then the next day Emily was already practically in love with him. Period romances are my favorites and I was very excited to read this book to add another to the ever growing pile but I ended up slightly disappointed because the characters were coarse and at the best of times fickle. The cute and romantic moments were very wonderful and it was super sweet. Overall, a quaint period romance for a quick change of pace for someone.

This was my first book by this author and I thought it was great! It is the first book in the Special Weapons & Tactics series. This was Mac and Sarenas’s story and they were awesome main characters that pulled me into this fun & steamy romance. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and listening to more by these awesome narrators. Happy Listening!

When artist and conservator Gianna Bellini lands a dream job in Venice to restore and complete a century-old fresco painting, she packs her bags and hops the first flight to Italy. But as she walks the cobbled streets with eerie familiarity, she comes to the revelation that she has been to the floating city before—just not in this lifetime.
Handsome Venetian native Sergio Vitale rescues Gianna from a chilling plunge after a misstep at a canal-side café. As their budding relationship deepens, so does her progress on the restoration job—except the fresco painting’s missing a panel. She turns to Sergio for help. The closer they get to discovering the unfinished design, the more Gianna is tormented by vivid dreams and haunting whispers where century-old Venetians have met their end.
In a city where the past and present walk hand in hand, Gianna struggles against destiny while Sergio fights for a future that includes her in it.

Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes is the first book in the Kiss me series by Danielle Jacks. This contemporary romance is entertaining, fun and steamy. I enjoyed watching the story unfold as something fake through to something that is nurturing and blossoming into something real. Revenge lies and a plan do not always go as one imagines. I will not share anything more as this little gem needs to be discovered all on its own. Good reading!

Of course there is a cliff hanger! When things get really good…it stops. Mountains Wanted is the first book in the Mountains series by Phoebe Alexander. First we meet Dr. Sarah Lynde who is a doctor in Sociology. Then we meet First Sergeant James McAllister who is serving in the Army. Neither one want anything permanent. But then again they never expected the immense chemistry that the two share. Are they setting themselves up for complete failure or will they risk it all? I’ll let you decide. But I will tell you that this book was written very well and the characters are super well developed. You can completely feel the chemistry exuding from those two. This story is very much one that explores different areas of sexuality and you may or may not learn a thing or two. It was a really easy book to read and it definitely kept me turning those pages. I was impressed with this book and its author. I cannot wait for the next book in the series to find out what happens next!

Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes by Danielle Jacks is the first book in the Kiss Me series. At 160 pages, a fairly quick read, the story is given between the two main characters, Damien and Zoe, giving each an ample amount of read time to explain and grasp each individual story and point of view while flowing delicately into a beautiful story. Zoe doesn’t want her family to know her life is falling apart. Damien wants revenge on his ex best friend. Two very separate lives they are living but they somehow reunite at the strip club Damien works at. Two people who knew each other growing up and now have completely separate motives somehow come together as a part of the same plan. Revenge. Misunderstanding. Whatever the reason was these two fell into a fake relationship in order to fulfill both of their motives. Can this relationship be more than just an act? All the chemistry and steam, can it all actually be real? This story makes you feel like you are a part of their plan. Their story. It keeps you entertained and continues to add little things that make the story just a little unexpected and leaves the reader just wanting to know what happens next. The romance and the chemistry and the steamy moments as well and all the heart strings and relatability in this story makes it such an enjoyable read. I cannot wait to read the next books in this series.

Five stars
I love this series. The men and their women. The fight and drive the put in when it’s right. I wanted to yell at Wes. Be greedy we only have this one life take what you want within reason lol. The story was so relatable. I know me and a few friends suffer with body image issues. No matter how much we try to encourage each other and ourselves. So everything Eleanor felt I completely understood. I have enjoyed every book in this series. The leads are always amazing in their own way. They go through so much to get where they’re needed. Definitely recommend hopping in this series.

Sexy Drug is a quickly paced, slow burn romance novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat from page 1 until the very last. I enjoyed getting to learn about 2 of the main characters backgrounds and how they got to where they are in life. It wasn’t just insta-love. Katie has been kept away from the ruthlessness, and sadistic tendencies of all the men around her including her father who treats her like she is just another piece of property. Her father has arranged for her to marry someone so much worse than even himself. Ramone has been through so much himself but there is still so much more to be seen about him. They portrayed cool indifference to cover what was growing between them but they were so different behind closed doors even while Katie’s life is in danger. I honestly cannot wait to read more in this series.

Fantastic Book!! Great Historical read. Totally worth the time!! My heart really ached for Emily, whom was caught in the middle between her step brothers financial debt, a bet in which he loses and the people whom try and tear her and the Earl of Lenbridge (Phillip Beckley Benton) apart. I know that the Earl of Lenbridge really loves Emily deep down and I am glad he won against Emily’s step brother. There is some mystery as well to this story. I very much enjoyed this book! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Part 2 Liliie is still with the Zayed and trying to decide if she should stay with them permanently. She loves these men and feels safe and at home with them what more could she want. There is still the thought of th2 sorcerer out to get her because of her relationship with the Zayed. Come to find out she has more power than she could have ever imagined and her true place is with the Zayed. Will they defeat the sorcerer and stop him from destroying the Zayed once and for all. Great ending to the series.

The continuation to Everly Taylor’s Blue Summer. This second piece once again captivated my attention, I couldn’t put it down! This book begins with Lillie once again being held captive by the sorcerer Erius. Lillie, as always is too feisty to be taken down, makes her move to get back to the Zayed and the new found family she is creating. This book is filled with action and some very steamy parts that will keep you entertained throughout.

The intensity of the love that Mila and Dane have for each other is so beautifully captured in this book. They way they overcome their fears to be together and decided to just do it despite everything that happen. I was swooning! Not to mention the glimpses we got of Seth and Braelynn and even Gia! There was so much character growth in this book, I ate it up! Getting to look into the lives of this Mafia Family, how they work, love and live is so fun. I am enjoying this series so much! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves a good romance and Alpha males who only kneel to their women! Brink of Denial By Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus

Kissing Scars wasn’t a book I would typically read. It took me a while to read it even though it was a short novella. I thought the writing was very good and the characters were very well liked. I’m not sure why I had a hard time getting into it but it was of no fault of the author. This was the first book I have read by him and wasn’t really sure if I was going to be into the book or not.
It was a sweet read about 2 romantics who end up falling for each other. They are very different. There’s a big age difference between the two and they are on different paths. Will they be able to make it work or is there just to much that they cannot see past? Again I thought it was very well written and I give the book 4 stars.

This is for those over 18 only due to adult content within.
Kaysee Belluomo is a vampire, but she isn’t just any vampire, she is the head of the Milite Coven along with her husband Dominic Belluomo and they are the elite of the elite of vampires, but one day in 2030 that changed when they were made aware of an individual who was creating a hybrid of a lycan and a vampire to create a new super race of supernaturals. Unfortunately, reports were that slowly but surely, they were taking over the USA and recruiting to their coven with the promise of power and a better life and most were taking the vampire in charge of it up on his offer because of his talent for persuasion. On this particular day they had invaded the Milite Coven headquarters and that is not something that Kaysee is impressed with in the slightest, however, her husband’s reluctance to do anything apart from strategise and make plans has Kaysee all riled up and after blood.
Forty years later and Kaysee’s predictions have come true and the Milite Coven have moved to Las Vegas in the hopes that they can find a food source and stay one step ahead of the hybrids following them, however, this plan hasn’t worked and the Coven’s members have diminished from over a hundred to six including Kaysee, her husband and her son. As they go hunting for hybrids in McCarran Airport Kaysee is still being undermined by the men in the Coven and she is getting sick of it, however, because she is a deadly fighting machine and completely head over heels with her husband, she goes along with the plan, albeit reluctantly, however, on one of these hunting trips things start to go wrong. After they have returned to the hotel and Kaysee finds out that her son has spoken to the leader of the enemy and has some opinions on him that don’t quite match up to his parents one, an argument ensues and loyalties are questioned and the next day while going to confront said leader, they split into teams and some split off on their own, however, when the time comes to leave, some of her Coven are captured and turned into more of the hybrid puppets. Due to this unexpected loss, the Belluomo’s decide to recruit some newborns from a group of humans who are still left in Las Vegas, so after they feed, they start taking the group back one by one to rebuild the Milite Coven back up.
When two of the missing coven members return to their home base, one is completely won over and the other is the opposite, enhanced, but still loyal to a fault, so when they are ambushed by hybrids and lycans alike on home turf, Kaysee does everything in her power to protect those who are left, however, her husband is kidnapped and flown out of the USA and overseas to Europe. Kaysee is devastated and retreats into herself for a few days before snapping back out of it and planning the rescue of the two men she loves most. Will Kaysee be able to successfully rescue her husband and son all while wiping out the rest of the Hybrid Coven, or will the past come back to haunt them and reduce their plans to cinders? This is a rip roaring romp of a paranormal romance with passion, violence and sex throughout which leaves you on no doubt of who is in charge and what happens when a female vampire is scorned.
I fell in love with this romantic comedy novella which is inspired by a true story. When Sanaya, a computer games designer left her home in India to move to Australia and expand her carer she also had dreams of one day falling in love and having a baby. However, when she meets and falls in love with a mobile games pioneer Leo who is divorced with three kids her clear plan suddenly isn’t so clear, especially when Leo announces he does not want anymore children. Meanwhile, Leo who is a born romantic has promised himself that when his youngest son turns eighteen that it will then be his time to follow his dreams, of writing magazine stories around the world. But then he meets and falls in love with Sanaya but she wants a baby and his romance rule is, no more children. In this heartwarming romance, “they discover love writes its own rules”. This wonderfully written novella took me on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading it and I was hooked from start to finish. The authors detailed and descriptive narrative bought both the setting and the likeable and relatable characters to life making me feel fully immersed in their love story.

I enjoyed this paranormal story. This is a newer author for me and I look forward to reading the next book in this series. This is a well written story where good and evil seem to collide. The characters are relatable and bring the story to life. The twists and turns not only heat up the pages but also left me questioning what would happen next. Vanessa has the ability to bring out the good in people. She has problems but they are about to get a little worse. Throughout the story she is faced with three men, all different. She is about to have three more problems. The story is full of action and hot, steamy men. I enjoyed the growth throughout the story as well as being pulled into the story. This is a great story and I highly recommend it.

Dirty Tactics by Peyton Banks is the first book in the Special Weapons and Tactics series. It is a relatively quick book to listen to and one that is easy to get lost in. The story started strong and drew my attention pretty quickly. I thought Sarena was an entertaining character and I liked her feistiness that came across strong. I also really liked Marcus. The two of them worked well together and seemed well suited.
My only issue is that the story didn’t continue quite as strong as it started. It felt like it was all a little rushed – the events all happening within the space of a couple of weeks – which meant some of the detail had been skipped. I think it would have been better served to draw the story out a bit more, flesh it out and have it last a bit longer. That being said I did enjoy the story and I wanted to know what was going to happen.
Peyton Banks is still a pretty new author to me but I have enjoyed everything I had read so far. I am looking forward to my next audio book by her.

Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes by Danielle Jacks

Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes is written by Danielle Jacks is the first book that I have read by this author. The characters are well written and strong. The descriptions of the strippers wanted me to reach out and touch.

Incredible. This book had me on edge the whole book. Who will die? Who will be arrested? Who is behind threats? The characters are so multidimensional you feel like they are real people. You feel the stress the whole family is going through throughout the book. The same characters in book one are in this story too which I quite enjoy. Dane and Milana are a troubled couple who make many mistakes along the way. The story takes you on a journey of self discovery in the brutal mafia world. You get so invested in these characters that you don’t want the book to end. I need book three of this mafia family.

This is the first book that I have read by this author and it was pretty good and different. The characters are well written and the way they play off each other with their little quirks.
Lillie has been kidnapped again by the evil and powerful sorcerer who is obsessed with gaining even more power and believes that Lillie is the key. Escaping from him this time turns out to be much harder but Lillie is desperate to get back to the Zayed before it’s too late.
Can the Zayed or Lillie defeat the evil sorcerer? Will the Zayed have a happily ever after? Will Lillie have a happily ever after with the Zayed?
You really need to read book one in order to understand the whole story. I really enjoyed and highly recommend this story

This is a fun lighthearted romance with an unlikely couple which had me hooked from page one. Zoe Merrill and her brother, Tyler’s ex best friend Damien have a mutual agreement to fake a relationship but the longer they live the lie the less fake their relationship feels. This feel good steamy romance has likeable and relatable characters who’s chemistry sizzles off the page. I found it to be a fairly short read but an action packed one which was enjoyable and engaging.

What a thrilling final book in the Antipodes series!! T.S. Simons astounds me with her creative ability to write such an outstanding series. I’m truly sad that this is the last book.

Blue Summer, Part Two continues where Part One finished so the books do need to be read in order to fully enjoy this entertaining and engaging paranormal, fantasy romance. In this story our heroine, Lillie has been kidnapped again by the evil and powerful sorcerer who is obsessed with gaining even more power and believes that Lillie is the key. Escaping from him this time turns out to be much harder but Lillie is desperate to get back to the Zayed before it’s too late. I liked seeing how Lillie’s character had grown and developed during this story and thought she was a great main character who bought the story together. I also liked how her relationship with Zayed’s, Chief, Clay, Heath and Brian continued and how their chemistry really came across in the narrative, which led to some steamy scenes. This fairly short but fast paced story is full of drama, suspense, magic and romance and the plot had me hooked from start to finish. The authors wonderful world building and descriptive narrative really bought the Zayed and their community to life and once again I was fully immersed in the story.

. Chased is part of The Men of Honour series of stand alones. It’s the story of Allegra and Chase. Chase Benedict takes pleasure in inflicting suffering on enemies and observers alike. Allegra is a law student with aspirations to help the under privileged, and Chase is one of the leaders of an organized crime association. If you are a fan of dark mafia romance, this is an author you most definitely want to read.

hat value do YOU place on friendship? Ouroboros is the third novel in this series. In this novel Cam explores the concept of friendship. Will he find the answers he’s looking for, or will he end up with more questions. I love this series because it touches on real life problems and explores them. This novel is great for young adults that are experiencing problems with friendships.

One fake relationship, two different goals, and a whole lot of heated chemistry. This is the perfect way to describe this novel. Dirty Kisses and Conflicting Wishes is a steamy romance intended for an adult audience. It’s the first book in the Kiss Me series, although it can be read as a standalone story. You will be hooked and wanting to read more.
