The SEAL’s Temptation is the 7th book in the Wounded Hearts series by Jacquie Biggar. Each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone. Although I have read some of Jacquie Biggar’s books, I had not read any of this series. I did at times feel as though I’d be better informed if I’d read previous books as I felt that I was missing some information that may have helped me better understand what a character had gone through. In saying that, I did enjoy this book. I particularly liked the characters of Frank and Maggie. I’d like to have known more about Maggie’s background but I knew enough to know that she’d gone through a horrific time previous to this book. I loved how Frank was with her; Patient, supportive and very loyal. Frank is also a great character. He’s well respected by all those around him, all of whom look up to him as if he’s some sort of God. The story is well written and it was pulled into the story from the very beginning and continued to enjoy it throughout the whole book. I feel as if I now need to go and read some of the previous books, not just to fill in some information but as I think I’d enjoy them a great deal too.

Jinxed by Maggie Adams is the second book in the Hell on Heel series. This is a quick read that is highly entertaining from start to finish. This is a fantastic opposites attract story that is fast paced and such a good read. I loved Mitchell and Sadie together but Sadie is easily my favourite character. I thought she was so relatable and engaging. I haven’t read much by this author b it everything I have read I have thoroughly enjoyed. I am already looking forward to the next book of hers that I read.

The SEAL’S Temptation …Wounded Hearts book #7 was filled with emotion, drama, action, loyalty and heart. While i think my experience with the book was hampered a little by the fact I started the series on book #7…how silly am i?…i really think you would love the series if you start from the very beginning and have all the background on the characters. I have learnt my lesson and that’s what i will be doing now! Ms Biggar gave us great characters and i loved their bond and connection. You doesn’t love some gorgeous navy seals with a strong depth of character, huge hearts and loyalty no one can break.

The Seal’s Temptation is book seven in the Wounded Hearts series by Jacquie Biggar.
Although this book can be read as a standalone story (which is what I did), I would suggest reading the previous books in the series. There is a lot of overlapping of characters and storylines between the books, although I found I could keep up pretty well. I would have enjoyed it even more if I had read the others beforehand and knew more of the backstories.
This story takes you on a complete rollercoaster ride of emotions, keeping you on your toes throughout. I loved the romantic story between Maggie and Frank, although I kind of wish there had been more time spent with this couple during the story. They obviously have a connection, but they do seem to skirt around things a lot. There are lots of things going on with other characters too, which can make it a little difficult to keep track at times. It was the emotions and storytelling that I enjoyed most and kept me quickly turning the pages until the end.

Twisted Throttle is the third book in the Satan’s Devil’s MC Second Generation Series by Manda Mellett. Holy Cow what a wild ride that once you start reading you won’t want to stop till you’ve finished. This author is my favorite MC Romance author her attention to detail and her ability to grab ahold of you from the beginning. If you haven’t started this series or even read any of them go start now, you won’t be disappointed . This is Throttle’s and Gwen’s story and whew what ride. He’s the Enforcer of the Tucson chapter and Peg’s son. He’s a one and done kinda man. He learns he has a stalker,it started out with little random things but it then started to get very serious. Gwen is his little sisters friend and Throttle definitely notices how much she’s grown up. You guys these two are off the charts. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait for more and more hopefully . I don’t want this to ever end!

Jinxed is the second book in Maggie Adams’ Hell on Heels series and while I really enjoyed book one, I loved Jinxed. I was incredibly excited when I first read the synopsis because honestly, this short read has everything I love. Empaths, occult and soul connections but I was fearful that I was setting my expectations too high! Maggie Adams exceeded my expectations with a fast paced, engaging story with characters I loved. This short story is less than 100 pages in length so really, what harm is there to take a chance on this (in my opinion) 5 star read? I look forward to more from Maggie Adams in the future!

I was excited to finally get to read the next book in this series. Once I started I didn’t want to put it down. Throttle is the club enforcer who doesn’t commit to any woman. When he sets his eyes on a new waitress at a club restaurant he realizes it’s a friend of his sisters.
Gwen crushed on Throttle growing up but he never looked at her in the way she wanted. Now as they get to know each other again sparks start to fly between them. I really liked Gwen, she is a very strong woman who had to take care of herself at a very young age.
There is a scary twist and a stalker comes into the story. Will Throttle be able to keep Gwen safe? And who is sending Throttle gifts?
Overall this was a read that pulled me right in and I couldn’t wait to see what was coming next. All of the characters added a great element to the story. We get mystery, hot steamy moments and so much more. If you’re looking for a great MC series to read I highly recommend this one. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Twisted Throttle: Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #3 by Manda Mellett
I have no idea how many of the Satan’s Devils books I have read, but I love the original series and the spinoffs. The second generation books may be my favorite since we have “known” these kids since they were born and now they are all grown up and following down their own paths.
Of the second generation this may be my favorite. I really had a hard time putting this one down. I was caught up in the story and wanted to see what was going to happen next and I was not disappointed.
Throttle is blindsided more than once and I was happy to see him meet his match. Oh and the stalker! Wow, did not see that interesting bombshell until it exploded.
I cannot recommend this book enough. I floved it and can’t wait for her next book to drop.

To be completely honest and fair, each book is great and each one (that I’ve read so far anyway) just keeps getting better! This book was full of steam, thrills, and excitement. Scorching Hot Mess by Brooke May. This book had me completely hooked from start to finish. I love a story that makes me forget about the outside world for a bit and this definitely delivered on that. The characters are complex and draw readers into their world so completely. It was an easy fun read and just what I needed and was looking for in a read. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking. This author is definitely climbing my favorites list quickly. Can’t wait for more! Four big stars and highly recommended!

Kissing the Kavalier by Annette Nauraine. I’m starting to find my love for historical romances and this one definitely helped me love them even more. The characters drew me in right from the get go and I had so much fun being lost with them. To me a book that makes me forget the world around me is amazing and this story did just that. From page one I knew I was in for a great time and I loved every minute of it. This author knows how to keep readers engaged and loving the story that unfolds. The characters are complex and relatable. The storyline is well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking. Can’t wait to see where the author takes readers next. After coming back from a brush with death a couple of years ago, Scott can now see dead people. This is not something he is too fond of because once the dead know he can see them, they flock to him. However, at his uncle’s funeral, he sees the ghost of a dead bride in a blood-covered wedding dress. He finds her intriguing and offers to help her find out who she is and how she ended up dead.
Zelda wakes up with no recollection of who she is or how she got where she is. She can see that she is in a wedding dress (which is covered in blood) but can’t remember anything. She quickly finds out that no one can see her, so she must be dead. When she comes across a funeral, she is surprised to find one person who may actually see her. When her and Scott begin to uncover the truth about her past…it comes as quite a shock (to both Zelda and the reader).
Can they uncover the mystery behind her death before she has to move on to whatever afterlife awaits her? And even though they are both in different realms, what is this connection that can be felt between Scott and Zelda?
This is a new-to-me author…but it definitely won’t be the only book I read from them. I found myself pulled into the story from the first chapter. I couldn’t (or wouldn’t) put it down until I got to the end to find out what really happened. There were twists and turns…tears and relief…suspense and mystery…this story has it all. I enjoyed it and will definitely be checking out the rest of the series.
Oh my goodness, this book, y’all. Such an emotional rollercoaster. I needed approximately an hour to process everything. I love it, 10/10, would recommend. If you are 18+ and want a twisty turney novel, this is for you!

Willow is such a loveable and relatable lady! She dumps a loser of a boyfriend after spending a drunken night out with her friends. Her night gave her 4 numbers and she allows herself to be convinced to call the numbers to see if she had met her true love…at a bar.. while drunk. What a bunch of winners she finds! There IS Gun, though. Their chemistry is intense and all-encompassing… And she has to avoid him to not be the “other woman”. Such a great read! Highly recommended!

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by May, but it is the first one by her that is a standalone. May is talented and it shows in the way she writes.
Willow hasn’t had much luck in the dating department. Going out with her brother and sister-in-law ends with her waking at their house the next morning. From there things go downhill and fast. The quote I chose for Willow is: “I’ll keep a hold of them until I’ve had more time to think about it.”
Gun didn’t want to think about Willow, but doing a fundraiser with her doesn’t help. Sophie leaves and all Willow does is remind him of her. The quote I chose for Gun is: “I’ll see myself out. Good-bye, Willow.”

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in the Hell on Heels series from Maggie Adams, so book two was a no brainer one-click for me. This book is probably safe to read as a standalone if that is more your thing though. I really love how relatable Maggie Adams manages to make her characters. They are realistic and encounter realistic things that make it that much more believable.
In this quick but packed read, Jinxed, we get the story of Mitchell and Sadie. These two are the epitome of opposites attract and reading the journey is both a funny and loveable read. I really was pulling for these two to get that happily ever after. I cannot wait to see what the next book may bring us.

Annette Nauraine is a new author for me. I enjoyed this historical romance. The plotline is fresh and unique. Her characters are complex and full of energy. I felt myself living through Countess Zdenka. Her struggle is real. She has been deceiving everyone. She did not think that she would find love, but she was wrong. Now, what will she do? Is she going to lose the opportunity for love? I recommend reading this story for a historical romance mystery.

This was an engaging and gripping romance with plenty of drama and suspense which kept me happily turning the pages. DEA Agent Maggie Holt has spent eighteen months undercover in a Mexican cartel and she now feels like the amazing agent that she was is now gone and she feels broken. Maggie is suffering with guilt and nightmares and when she is forced to take paid leave she accepts the offer of a vacation on a ranch. The range belongs to the man who rescued her from an almost certain death, Frank Stein who is a retired Chief Petty Officer SEAL. Having suffered from PTSD himself he recognises the symptoms in Maggie when she arrives and hopes she will find the peace on his ranch that he did. Frank is interested in seeing if a relationship could develop between himself and Maggie but Maggie’s DEA partner Adam O’Connor is also in the mix. Adam is angry that she went against orders to go undercover putting herself at risk however, he loved her once and could again, if she’d let him. A right-wing militia group infiltrates the area and Maggie, Adam, and Frank have to work together before someone dies. Maggie has to choose between the handsome cowboy, Frank or her charismatic DEA partner, Adam. This book had me hooked from start to finish and the suspenseful plot ensured I could not put the book down. I liked the three main characters and how their different relationships developed and the interactions between them. The narrative flowed well and I felt immersed in the storyline.

Peaceful Slumber will have you flipping pages faster than you can blink. Nikki Lynn Barrett has really outdone herself with this “ghost story”. After reading the synopsis of this story i was hooked right away, and Nikki definitely did not disappoint. Peaceful Slumber is an emotional roller coaster ride so make sure you have a box of tissues handy for all the tear jerking moments, but youll have quite a few heart-warming moments and be smiling by the end. But if you want a ghost story full of twists and turns, love, deceit, wonderfully developed characters and a plot that keeps you guessing until the very end then I highly recommend Peaceful Slumber.
Scott is a teenager and a bit of a recluse, he is jaded and sarcastic and pushes people away and keeps his own council, he doesn’t get along with his parents, or at least he doesn’t now, not since he died and was brought back, but the only problem with that is that now he can see the dead when nobody else can and that is why he is how he is. She is a ghost, she is wearing a wedding dress covered in blood and has no memories of who she is or what has happened, apart from that she is dead and nobody can see her, that is until she locks eyes with someone at a funeral and that all changes.
I have woken up in a dark place with fog swirling around my feet, I can’t feel anything and I can’t see anybody else around me, but I’m shivering and can feel a cold wind swirling around me, but as I start to panic, I can hear voices, someone sobbing and others trying to comfort them, but when I try to make contact, they can’t hear me. Scott is at the funeral of his Uncle, they are gathered around the grave while the ceremony is conducted, he is there for his Aunt and nobody else, but the dead are all around him and trying to get his attention, so far he has managed to ignore them all, if not, then they will swarm him and ask for his help, that is until one female ghost catches his attention, she is wearing a bloody wedding dress and for some reason he can’t look away and she notices and looks relieved. After he has finished avoiding his parents, he goes over to talk to her, and albeit he is short with her, she doesn’t back off and he is surprised to find that he invites her back to his house so he can help her.
Why did I have to find the one sarcastic guy in the world who can see me, even worse, I’m slightly attracted to him, as I ask him question and he does in return, how little memories I have are worrying and I don’t know what to do, but as Scott seems to be my only ally and we seem to get on well, I’ll take a chance. I get annoyed with Scott when he keeps calling me Ghost Bride, so I ask him to give me a different name and one he likes, he comes up with Zelda, apparently a character from a video game, but I like it, so that is one thing, as he suggests getting the laptop out to start on the research, I realise that I am happy that he will help me when nobody else can. Scott meanwhile is realising that this ghost is attractive, funny and can give the sarcasm as much as he can, so he decides that helping her could be fun, until she leaves, but still he cannot stop himself from noticing how attractive she is and how even though he knows she is dead, he still can’t ignore the fact that she makes him feel alive again.
Will Scott and Zelda be able to figure out who she is and how she died and how will this affect them both of the mystery can be solved? This is a romance with a very paranormal twist, with a mystery you will want to solve as well.
This book was great 👍 love a good rom com, had me in stitches at times. I love Willow’s character she is whimsical, independent and deep down knows what she truly wants. After one disaster after the next can she find her dream man.?! You will have to read to find out.

After being brought back to life after a close call with death, Scott can now see ghosts. It is not something he relishes in and he tries to avoid the spirits that seek him at all costs. That is until one particular ghost in a wedding dress appears to him at his late uncle’s funeral. Not having any memories of who she is, Scott works with her to figure out who she is and how he can help her. I really enjoyed this book. Both the main characters are likeable, and you really find yourself rooting for the. The plot is beautifully written and well thought out, there is lots of twists and turns to keep you interested but the main focus of the story is still there. I was intrigued to find out about Scott’s part and why he had such a connection to this ghost in particular. Seeing both characters develop over the book was particularly exciting. A great read.
Scorching Hot Mess is a great romantic comedy from Brooke May. I have read, and enjoyed, a few of her other books so was looking forward to reading this one. So glad that I read this book as I really enjoyed it. It’s funny and quirky and will entertain you from start to end. Poor Willow has no luck when it comes to love so when a drunken night leads her to have four napkins with phone numbers on them, her best friend pushes her to meet these men and have some fun. We all need a friend like Willow. She’s funny and quirky and a very loyal friend. My one moan about this book is Willow’s friend. I found her to controlling and pushy. I wouldn’t be able to cope with a friend like that. Luckily Willow knows how to deal with her. I also adored Gun. He’s such a strong, dependable and caring man. I was captivated by him straight away and was hoping that Willow was going to have some fun with him. If you’re up for an enjoyable, fun romance then Scorching Hot Mess is definitely the book for you. Give it a try!!

This is the fifth book in this series. Another couple gets their happy ever after but that’s not all. The bad guys are continuing to enlist evil to help them win the war. We see a lot of the characters from past books in her as they band together to fight to save everyone. This is action, suspense and drama of the supernatural kind.
Overall I enjoyed watching Mason and Delilah find each other. This is a nice read that catches me up in everyone’s lives plus the danger to the main character and others.

The SEALs Temptation by Jacquie Biggar is the seventh book in three Wounded Hearts series. This is a fantastic series and each book can be read as a stand-alone. This is a book that is full of action from start to finish. I was really drawn to Maggie’s character. I thought the author did a great job in portraying her mental state and trying to find a way past it. I loved the relationship she had worn by Frank and her partner. It was interesting to what her interact with them both. The author knows how to keep you on your toes. The book was full of twists and turns and it was exciting to read to the end. This is a great book and one worth reading today.
This story is the continuation of the first book Anguish which I had not read but although I did get the gist of the first book to then find this book as the Vengeance and revenge that Quinn wants to inflicted as mush torture on her tormentors but will she be able unleash the violence or will she fall at the last hurdle.
Stone and his gang is fully behind Quinn and will do anything for her, with the instant attraction he has too her can he fulfil what she wants to happened or will it break them apart. Quinn tries to hide the attraction to Stone as she at times blames in him in part for that fateful day.
I loved this story and although I followed the book I think it would be better to listen to the first book to get a greater understand of the actions behind Quinn and Stone. I loved the feel of getting wrapped into the story and feel with eat word spoken you are in the story living the action and evoke real emotion with each word listened to.
I will definitely download the first book and get the next book in this instalment and see how these two broken people end up and will they have their happy ever after.

This book was a very dark read. It handles some subjects that maybe triggers for some people. The author does a good job of writing so that you actually feel like you are experiencing everything with the character. Tillie is a strong character and I love how she grows in strength throughout the book.
Tillie is a young woman who grew up surrounded by bikers. One fateful night her world is turned upside down when everyone she knows turns out to be evil as the devil including her own father.
Finally leaving the abusive situation she winds up with just and name and and a address which leads her to 4 other males. All of them are intrigued by her but also dispise her. And like wise she has a different connection to each of them.
Is Tillie really any safer with these men? Or is she destined to suffer a different cycle of torture?

This is book 5 of The Protectors series. I have read these books before so they can be read as a standalone book however the characters are mixed in all the books. These books are an amazing mix of shifters, Paranormal, Romance and danger which keeps a reader gripped from beginning to end.
Delilah has been running all her life from one thing or another. She even ran away from her fated mate which has now put her life in danger.
With the Trackers trying to get a hold of her will she make it back to her mate Mason in time or will she get captured.
Added to this the war that is brewing between the supernatural beings and the people trying to hunt them down and capture them. After a vision the women have does this mean the end of the Protectors community or will they be able to win this war against the ones trying to harm them. How many more lives will be lost?

Twisted Throttle: Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #3 by Manda Mellett
This book is freaking amazing. Manda Mellett knows what she is doing by writing these fantastic books. Twisted Throttle is amazing.
Gwen moves back to town after college Pursuing a career in law she is working hard to pay off her debts. Then Throttle comes back into her life. The quote I chose for Gwen is: “You don’t need to do that. I can get a cab. Or…. Can you give me a lift back to my car?”
Noah, aka Throttle, is another kid who was born and raised in the MC. His dad being the ex-SAA of the club, but he’s now a patched in member. When Gwen comes back into his life he starts seeing her differently. The quote I chose for Throttle is: “F no. She was Lisa’s best buddy for a while back in high school, but she never came to the compound so you wouldn’t remember her. I used to pull her pigtails. We caught up when I came in a week back. I hadn’t seen her for years before then.”
This book has a lot going on and so much to digest. I really enjoyed exploring the different relationships in the book and all of the emotions involved. An action packed book that I couldn’t put down. I really enjoyed it.
