Secure Her by R.L. Dunn is the fourth book in the Chase Security Series. This book is an amazing addition to what is already a great series. I was hooked on this book immediately and it has definitely become my favourite one of the series so far. The main characters has such a strong chemistry between them, you could feel it on each and every page! You couldn’t help but be drawn in by their story. The book is full of twists and turns. I honestly didn’t know how this was going to play out and that made it so kick more exciting to read. This is a fantastic book and easily the best one so far. I would highly recommend this series.

Secure Her (The Chase Security Series Book 4) by R.L. Dunn. This is the 4th book in the Chase Security series and its a great series. Every book is better than the next one. I can’t wait for the 5th. Its the story of Zach Wentworth who is Head of the the Domestic Law Enforcement Unit for Chase Security. He is still dealing with the loss of a female operative during a mission due to their personal relationship. Zach has always been the dominant in the relationship so he knows no other way. When US Attorney Saorise Kennedy walks into his office to get his help in stopping a human trafficking ring he is smitten. Starting a working and professional relationship with Zach has been amazing in an dout of the bedroom but Zach is starting to worry because every female who has worked against the traffickers has died. I really enjoyed this edition of the mercenaries series by Nadine Travers! It definitely contained just the right level of suspense to keep you turning the pages wanting to know what is going to happen. The author did a really good job of giving some background information on the characters without going off on a tangent and then having to settle back into the main story for which I was really grateful. You really find yourself rooting for them and wanting Hacker and Marie to win. There were totally times where I found myself yelling at Marie in my head. The romance/sexual aspect is complete without being all-consuming to the story. It’s a great book for someone who likes romance AND mystery/suspense. Hacker was undoubtedly a guy I could see myself being into. I will admit by the end I also wanted Sensei and Mika to develop a relationship. Perhaps the next chapter?
Can Dreams Come True? is the first book in the Cecily Taylor series by Krysten Lindsay Hager. Before reading this I had not read any of this author’s work but I was attracted by the blurb and decided to give the book a go. I’m glad that I did as I enjoyed this book. Cecily is the typical girl nest door. She’s sweet, hardworking and loyal to her friends. She also adores her boyfriend Zach. She does however have a major crush on pop star Andrew Holiday. So when her friend gets an audition for Andrew’s next video, Cecily goes along to give her support. Only Cecily is exactly what the video makers are looking for. I really loved reading about Cecily and Andrew. Both are great characters that I could easily identify with. I really enjoyed their interactions with one another, seeing their friendship develop as they both just ‘get’ each other. I have to admit that I was not a fan of Cecily’s friend who she went to the audition with or Cecily’s boyfriend Zach. Andrew understood her better in the space of a few minutes than 2 of her best ‘friends’ ever would. I really enjoyed this book. The main characters are great and the story flows along well, keeping you entertained. I’m looking forward to reading more and Cecily and Andrew’s story.

This is a charming friends to lovers story. I found the book to be quite entertaining. The romance between Alex and Penny was believable with just the right amounts of attraction and nervousness. The comedy relief was enjoyable. Alex is a true city boy who’s never been in the woods. Being an author, he needs to do research for his next book. Luke and Penny decide to drag him camping in the wilderness for ten days. What ensues is quite hilarious. Aside from Alex and Penny falling in love, Luke had to come to terms with his feelings about the situation; seeing as he is best friends with both of them.
The book is informative pertaining to surviving in the wild. I appreciated that because I learned a lot. It is also written from Alex’s perspective which I enjoyed. It is not often that you will find a romance novel written from the male’s viewpoint. It showed how insecure men feel as well. I found it quite refreshing. This is a really good book that I think you will enjoy.

Forged by Secrets by Amy McKinley is the 3rd book in the Deadly Isles Special Ops series. I loved how each book focused on a different brother from the same family. This last book in the series focuses on Ty and Melina, the woman he’s felt a connection with for a long time. They’ve known each other since high school but Ty didn’t make any moves towards her because he knew he’d be enlisting. What a surprise it was to reconnect later when Ty is now a Navy Seal and Melina is one of the computer operators working with his team. This whole series is a wonderful read you can’t help but get sucked in. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I really enjoyed this story and immediately connected with Cecile and her interaction with Andrew. There felt to be a natural push and pull that I would expect with this type of story. Just an easy and fun read. I’m excited to see how their series progresses.

Holliday puts together a great quick romantic comedy that really was what I needed for the afternoon. I really enjoyed this fun story that had me laughing in all the right places. I look forward to reading more from this author.

No sexual encounters. Totally safe for those under 18. Many teens would enjoy this story. Totally Mean Girls meets Hannah Montana but the Male lead is the rock star. What happens you are looking at repeating a mistake you made in a previous relationship. Regan knows Zach is not the same as her ex-boyfriend but can she truly give all to him and disclose her horrendous past.
When Regan moves to her new job, she swears off any office romance, as past history has not been healthy for her but that’s before she met her boss, Zach Benson. Oh, this man is wonderful and shows early on that he has feelings for Regan but she is trying hard to keep the distance between them until she can’t stay away any more.
Zach knows as soon as he sees Regan that he has fallen hard for this woman, he wants the marriage, Kids and the forever but as they start to get to know each other he feels that there is just something she is holding back from him. He is aware of her past relationship in bits but not the true story, but he knows that his family love her and are staying loyal to her but when she has to choose between the business and the love of his life, will he make the right Executive decision.
This is the first book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed the flow of the story; it is a typical boss and employee book but the characters were well developed and you felt like you were walking through the relationship with them. The secondary characters also in the book were brilliant and I would love to read more of the series and get to see inside the lives of some of them we had a brief insight into within this book.
Zach’s character was the alpha male protector and I loved his character and thought it complimented the character of Regan but at times I was a little frustrated with Regan’s internally arguments at times, although with this said I thought her character was portrayed brilliantly and some of the difficult topics were handled with the delicacy and respect they needed to be. I can’t wait to read the next story in this series as there is a great taster at the end of this book that I can’t wait to read Madeline and Carlos’s story next.

This story was sadly not my jam. I thought it was very cute and sweet. It was such a wonderful concept, but I think that if a few things were changed, it could be much better. This book is PERFECT for a 12-15 age group, it is a very clean and easy read. Although this story was not for me, I do believe that someone in a younger age group would absolutely love it. With that being said, I thoroughly enjoyed the read.

10 Days by KJ Holliday was a great romantic read. I dug right in and immediately wanted more of Alex and Penny. Alex’s sarcasm and sense of humor reminded me of close friends and I felt at home inside his head. I enjoyed the flow and pacing of the story. I loved that there was steam, always makes for a good read.

Jordan’s Shadow by T.R. Cupak is a dark and twisted and disturbing read that is so good. It is heart wrenching and heartfelt all at the same time with so many emotions taking place. You will need the tissues when you read this and enter a world where love and loss, revenge and betrayal, lies and secrets, pain and fear will envelope you like a dark cloud on a winters day. There are also lighthearted moments that will make you laugh but trust me when I say this story is not for the feint of heart and does have things that may cause triggers, so BEWARE! This story is heart shattering and yet beautiful. You can’t help but fall in love with all the characters. T.R is one heck of a great writer.
She wants revenge and he is only too happy to help.
TR never fails to deliver. Dark, twisted and crazy town. There is no HEA only an ending. It is a story that will stay with you long after you have finished it.
She just has a way of drawing you into the book from page 1. I enjoy how I was been pulled into the story. Malina and Tyler, both in the Navy SEALS. He happens to be her high school crush, but he is not the type to settle down.The story has some drama, suspense. Leaves you wanting to read the next one! It did not disappoint.

It is such a strong addition to the series. I loved the characters in this book. They had such a strong chemistry together and their connection felt relatable. I found myself wanting to read more about them. The story itself has been really well written. I was hooked right from the start and I just had to know how it was all going to then out. This book really does has a bit of everything you could want to make it fantastic. This is a brilliant series and one that I cannot recommend highly enough.

This is the first book that I have read by this author and I really enjoyed her book. The characters are amazing and well written with a few quirks thrown in. This is a suspenseful romantic suspense.

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. Travers is an amazing author who keeps readers coming back. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone.

Office Romances are one of my favorite go-to genre. So when I saw this book it was a no brainer. I am so glad because this book is amazing. It has thrills and chills, fun and sun with delightful characters who come into their own.
I love how determined Zach is to get her to date him. Their first meet was inspiring and that first date was adorable! Zach is an ideal guy..hard in the office and a big softie out. Regan didn’t want to fall into the same trap she had once before. She is involved but always holding Zach at arms length. I loved her business savvy. Their story is one of my favorites…a definite reread.
The Keller’s are quite a different family. I loved their uniqueness and how they stand together! Zach’s mom is fun and delightful. Always pushing but she never seems over the top. I look forward to the next in this series but I’m thinking this office romance will be my fav.

Its the story of Cecily Taylor who is in first real relationship and she thinks Zach may be the one. Krysten Lindsay Hager is a new author to me. Her writing style gripped me from the first page to the last page. This is a fast paced YA book. It kept me going because I needed to know what was coming up next. The characters were tuned into the story. They were complex and really enhanced the story. I could vision them in my mind’s eye because they were so realistic. Cecily is the lead female character and Andrew is the lead male character. Cecily was doing her friend a favor and accompanied her to a video audition. Cecily did not even want to be in the video but the director did. This put some ill feelings from her friend and with all the attention made her boyfriend become jealous. Andrew being the lead singer of the group has a crush on Cecily. How does Cecily feel about the video? Does Cecily and her boyfriend fall apart? Does Andrew come to help Cecily get through these trying times? Does the small town girl and the big time guy? I highly recommend this book to find out the answers to these questions and more.

I’m not sure how I would feel if I got the chance to meet a celebrity that I had been a diehard fan of, I don’t really have a celebrity icon that I like that much I don’t think. But Cecily does, and that amaze-balls icon for her is the singer Andrew Holiday. At first, I was a little annoyed, I know other people who have read this didn’t like Zach and his jealousy, and I will admit that he was a tad arsy, but I think I would be a little annoyed if the person I loved was spending a lot of time with a sexy celebrity who was clearly into them. I mean Andrew makes it known that he wants her, if not explicitly but implicitly, and I just thought that Zach got a bad deal. Doesn’t condone what he does, but still, I felt proper sorry for him at first. Cecily was okay, I’m not sure how I felt about her as a protagonist if I’m honest, think this was geared more towards young adults, and as such, the character just didn’t really resonate with me. Still, it had the whole, normal girl being thrust into the sparkly world of stardom and receiving the attention of a hot celebrity who thinks that she is the best thing since sliced bread, vibe. I would have my phases when I was younger, of eating books like this up, and this is one of the better-written ones. Hager has a nice turn of phrase that made me want to keep reading, even if I wasn’t wholly invested in the story. Young adults will love this and anyone else looking for a nice romance that has plenty of feels, and the rosiness of unbelievable dreams coming true.

Dunn does an amazing job tackling a serious subject in the midst of a contemporary romance. This series has been good but this installment is the most riveting to date for me. Sensitive to the subject matter, realistic, emotional – a real connection point with the main characters to the reader. You cared about the relationship and the backstory and the possible hea as well as the suspense that was at the heart of the plot. Really well written.

Shift Happens….. just the title gives you an indication of how witty and hilarious Carrie Pulkinen’s writing is. She’s a master with comedy and character development. This second book in the series is just as good as the first. Hollie Jackson did an amazing job with the narration and really brought an extra layer to the characters and story

This is a refreshing read. It is set from the perspective of the lead male which is a nice change for a story about romance. The setting of a camping expedition is also something different. The characters are well written with the lead character being very witty and funny.
Alex Jones is an author. When he needs inspiration for his new book his friends Luke and Penny offer to help him out. They take him on a camping expedition to show how what it’s like to get back to nature.
However Alex is a city boy. Being in the middle of nowhere, pitching tents and building fires is not his idea of fun. The only thing making it bearable is Penny.
As the 10 days progress Alex’s feelings for Penny grows but not knowing how she feels should he take the risk or keep his feelings to himself. Also how will Luke react when his feelings are shown.

This is my 2nd book of this series and also by this author. I enjoyed the first one, but do believe this one is my pick so far. Still just a bit predictable for me, but definitely held my interest till the last page. The writing style has an easy flow making it an easy read to get lost in. I did find myself confused a few times but was able to get back on track pretty quick. I never connected strongly with Marie, I’m not sure why but something did bother me about her. I did like the humor that was spaced out throughout, and I did LOL a few times.
I did enjoy reading this and it absolutely can be read as a stand alone. I will be looking forward to the next one.
Secure Her is book four in the Chase Security series by R. L. Dunn. This author dabbles with a few delightful and attention grabbing events. It contains some BDSM, some drama, some mystery, some intrigue, some frustration, and lots and lots of chemistry and strong and vibrant personalities. An eclectic collection of characters with varied and colourful idiosyncrasies. I engaged immediately with the main characters, and was left gasping a lot of the time. The other times I felt intense contentment with the direction the story took, and the often suspenseful and dangerous road they travelled. Immensely riveting and cleverly written. Thoroughly fulfilled my raunchy cravings. 4 stars.

I really enjoyed this book, I was pulled right in from the beginning. Cecily has her first boyfriend and she is asked to go with her friend to possibly meet her favorite singer during an audition. While there Andrew seems to take a liking to Cecily and she also gets a part in the video. She is super excited and shares the news with her boyfriend, who doesn’t seem very excited for her. While doing the video she ends up having a nice conversation with Andrew and gets to see a different side to him.
Overall I really enjoyed this book. We continue to watch Cecily have issues with her boyfriend and his jealousy. And she starts a friendship with Andrew. Things take a twist and things get even more interesting. All of the characters were great although a couple of Cecily’s friends were so so for me and the boyfriend frustrated me on so many levels. If you’re looking for a good read 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from this author and series.
