This was a really romantic love story. I really loved the characters and how through everything that was thrown at them love grew.
Kelly moved back to her small hometown after suffering heartbreak. Since then she has opened her own business and has closed herself off to love. When she meets Tate she knows of his reputation but cant deny her attraction to him.
Tate is the play boy of the town with a different woman every week if you believe the rumours. But how many rumours are true? Is there more to Tate than meets the eye? Can Kelly allow herself to open her hear too the chance of love again?

Who doesn’t love romance??? This was the perfect book for that. Drawn to Him was a book that I could not put down until I read the very last word. This was a quick read for me. Two people not looking or wanting to find love until it is pretty much right in their faces. This story will keep you wondering. I loved Erica and Matt’s story and I can not wait for more from Ms. Mannersly.

Breaking Traditions: The Shifter And The Mage by Madilynn Dale is a sweet paranormal teen love story. Whilst the story is well written, and the plot is good, but it didn’t grab me as well as it could have. It needs more drama or action to give it that something more. The premise is a shifter and has her parents pushing her towards marriage. Alex is a Mage and works his way into her heart but is it enough for the staunch shifter community and where does it all fit with Natalie’s want of a different life?

One Hot Texas Summer (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge #1) by Nicole Flockton was a great 5 star read.
This is Kelly and Tate’s story,I was pulled right in by the authors writing and loved these two. Tate has taken over the responsibility of his family’s peach farm and it is the site for this year’s Founder’s Day festival. He isn’t looking forward to working with Kelly who is the florist handling the flowers for the festival.
She isn’t thrilled about working with Tate either because of his playboy ways. But as they work together she starts to see a different side to him. They both have been hurt in the past so they each had some things to work through. You can feel the chemistry from these two coming off the pages.
Overall I really enjoyed this book. I really like how independent and strong both Kelly and Tate were. They were perfect for each other, I had some LOL moments when they would banter with each other. Of course we get some ups and downs and small town drama. If you’re looking for a great read I highly suggest this book. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I loved reading the book Drawn to Him by Tammy Mannersly. It is a story that hooked me in from the beginning and I just couldn’t put it down. It is a wonderful romance book that will warm and touch your heart. I loved the characters of Erica Townsend and Dr. Matthew Garrick. Erica is an intelligent, independent woman who has learned from the past that resisting love is the way to not get her heartbroken. Matthew is a new doctor in town who has not found the right woman for him. Then he meets Erica. There is an instant attraction when they meet. There are sparks and chemistry that can’t be denied. Will Erica give Matthew a chance to show her how much he has fallen for her? What will happen when a secret admirer gets thrown into the mix? Will there be a HEA? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. I grew to care about Erica and Matthew and wanted them to find happiness. There are very romantic moments as well as times when I was smiling and laughing out loud at the interactions between the characters. I enjoyed reading about Erica and Matthew’s best friends and the support that they provided. Don’t miss out on an exciting, at times mysterious, and entertaining story. In The Arms Of Morpheus: A Speculative Romance is the second book in the Antiheroes series by Gaia B. Amman. Ms. Amman is one of my go to authors and when this book popped up I couldn’t wait to read it. This book had me hooked from the very first page. I couldn’t put it down and finished it in one sitting. This book is sci-fi and romance rolled into one.
Tasha and Josh are the main characters. They have great chemistry and are highly entertaining to read about. I felt myself wanting to read more to find out what would happen next and to slow down and savor it. You know which one won out.
If you like Sci-Fi and Romance this is the perfect book for you! This book can be reed as a standalone, but I recommend you read the first book in the series first. Review by @sunbarn

I love a good romance that has classic push and pull between the two leads from page one. Flockton does a beautiful job establishing the conflict early as we follow our heroine and the possible lady’s man that is the peach farm owner’s son. I loved the setting that this story took place in and it’s charm extended from its festival to each resident in the town. I fell quickly into this story and found this book to be an extremely pleasing and easy read. If you love a good romance, you’ll truly love this work.

I loved the intricate plot, I felt like I was really on my toes while reading it. I loved Tasha from the get go, so is so grounded in her way of life that you can’t wait to see her develop. Josh got off on my bad side but overtime grew on me. I enjoyed the pacing and the story telling was just fantastic. I felt all the emotions at the right time.

I found Breaking Traditions a great story. Madilynn Dale has a great mind for detail. Her description paints a beautiful picture that I could see in my mind’s eye. Her characters are fully developed. I found that this story has some twists and turns which enhanced the story. I found myself asking if I could break my family tradition or do what I want to do to be happy. Those is the questions for Natalie. She wants to own her own bakery one day, but her parents want her to be a stay at home mom. She falls in love with Alex, but as a shifter, she needs to follow her traditions. What will Natalie do? Will she follow her heart or her family traditions? I highly recommend this book to find out the answers to these questions and more.

One thing I like about Nicole Flockton’s books is that they are short love stories. She tells the story with enough information to fall in love with her characters and the town around it. Her characters are simple people that makes you want to find out more about them. Her description paints a picture for you to see the romance starting as a bud blossoming into the rose. This story is about Kelly and Tate. Kelly is the town’s florist who has been asked to run the town’s festival. She is excited to take on this challenge. The only problem is that she has to work with Tate. He is known to be the town’s “player”. Kelly has been hurt by a serial cheater. She starts having feelings for Tate but will she give in to her feelings or stand her ground. Tate is taking care of his father who is recovering from a stroke. His brother puts his family farm in the place of holding the town’s festival. Will Kelly be able to keep focus and not let her feelings out about Tate? Will Tate be able to take care of his Dad and help host the festival? Will Tate fall for Kelly and prove that his “player” days are over? I highly recommend this book to find out the answers to these questions.

One Hot Texas Summer (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 1) by Nicole Flockton. I loved this book. It was a short read but kept me turning the pages as fast as I could. Its the story of Kelly Turner who has ended up back in Sweet Ridge, Texas after a messy breakup and a horribly boring accounting job in Houston. She is so glad to be back close to her Mom and friends. She has opened a flower shop called “This Bud is for you” and its doing terrific. When one of her best friends Macy asks her to manage a Satellite site for the Town’s annual Founder’s Day Festival she can’t say no. Then she finds out its located at Prentice Peach Farms where the infamous Tate Prentice is running the Farm. She has thought a lot about Tate and even had some dreams about him but he’s known for his playboy ways so she knows he’s the last thing she needs. When they start working together Tate is infatuated with Kelly and wants to prove to her he’s not what everyone says he is. Kelly is having trouble keeping her distance from Tate and she really wants to believe he’s not the player the town says he is. Will Kelly and Tate be able to get past all the junk and make it work? Breaking Traditions: The Shifter and The Mage is an amazing paranormal, romance novel by Madilynn Dale. Natalie wants nothing more than to have her own bakery business but unfortunately, her parents don’t share in her dream. In a perfect world, they would want Natalie to be a perfect stay at home mom. The main issue with that is her parents want her to be with her ex Theo. Natalie struggles to be true to her shifter heritage but also wants to be happy with her life. Then enter Alex, the mage. Natalie’s wolf side feels drawn to Alex, but this of course is against the shifter tradition. Alex begins falling in love with Natalie but feels that she isn’t being truthful with him. I almost felt bad for Natalie as she struggled through her life. She wants to please her family, she wants to live as a shifter, but she also has dreams of her own. Then I felt bad for Alex too because all he wants is to be with Natalie but he feels like there is something getting in the way of them. Throughout the whole novel, I just wanted the two of them to be happy. The author did a wonderful job with both the paranormal aspects of this novel as well as the romantic ones. I definitely recommend reading this book!

One Hot Texas Summer by Nicole Flockton is the first book in the Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge series. It is one of those books that I found easy to get into and a great way to lose yourself for a few hours in some great characters. I enjoyed the way this book was written. I found that it was paced pretty well and the story definitely moved along in the right direction. There were times when I struggled a bit with the characters – the connection between them was there it just sometimes felt like it needed a bit of work. However for the most part I found myself engaging with them and interested in their story. As the start of a new series I though this book did well. It wasn’t too series while also having depth about it and it has caught my interested in the other characters that I assume will form the basis of the rest of the series. This is a good start and a book I enjoyed.

I enjoyed this historical-romance story about the wall and before what it is today. I found this story to be interesting and also heartwarming. There is much going on in this book but it is easy to read and follow. This is a well written story that the author used details that make you feel as if you are right there with the characters. I had no problems connecting with the characters as they took me on an emotional journey of two people who live on opposite sides of the wall. This is about a couple; an American and a Mexican. They are complete opposites but as the story grows they find that they have things in common as well as learn about the differences in each other. Their relationship grows into something heartfelt but is love strong enough to break down the wall? Will destiny play a part in what happens to these two? I highly recommend this book. This is my first book by this author, I am glad I picked it up and you will be too.

This is a shorter romance story that I enjoyed. This is a romance story about taking risks with love. This author continues to impress me with her writing skills and her attention to details. I enjoy being pulled into the story from the beginning and this story is no different. The characters brought the story to life and made it easy to read. This is a fast paced story that is engaging and kept me turning pages. Erika is a teacher that is determined to not fall in love. That is until she gets hurt and meets the new doctor in town. Dr. Matt is not necessarily looking for love but when he meets Erika he changes his mind. Now he is determined to convince her to take a risk on him. What will fate have in store for them? Will a secret admirer change things? This is a really great story that I highly recommend.

This is a lovely supernatural romance bout 2 people from different species falling in love and the obscales they face.
Natalie is a shifter and according to shifter traditions she has to marry a strong shifter with a good job to take care of her. However Natalie has other ideas and when she meets Alex all those traditions don’t exist.
Alex is a Mage. He is a very hard working young man who falls head over heels for Natalie but will that be enough?
Can Natalie and Alex break traditions to be together or will Natalie be forced to stick to dating her own kind? Who says that love knows the different that are between species and should that difference matters when you cant choose who you fall in love with.

I struggle with this review. The story was ok but there is a lot of filler in the book and the writing seemed a bit boxy. That in turn led me to be bored and just easily could flip pages and not miss anything. The characters were ok as well. I had a few inconsistencies that I didn’t understand. The MC and her bff were retired but later but also working on career as rodeo queen/singer/ranch hand and then she seemed younger. It was a bit weird and too many mixed signals.
I liked Chance and the relationship he had with Rebecca. I could tell he liked her and was shy about it in the beginning. He was “All in” from the beginning. His secret identity was off in left field but it was used nicely in the story.
There is some mystery in the story as well. I didn’t read book 1 in the series and it made me wonder if this was carryover from that book. It was nicely done and was later in the book.
Overall this is an ok story. I was excited to read this based on others reviews. But I just couldn’t get into the characters or the story. Sorry.

Center of Gravity: A Standalone Friends-to-Lovers Sports Romance (An Ice Tigers Hockey Romance Book 2) by Isabella Cassazza
I’m not a hockey fan, but I seem to love hockey romance stories and this one did not disappoint me. There was something about Emilia and Matt’s story that drew me in and kept me engaged until the end.
Emilia was not fulfilled, she wasn’t happy in her job and felt like she could do nothing right. Matt had been burned before and was leary of women and relationships, especially relationships. Who knew one fateful night would change everything for both of them.
I really loved both of these characters for very different reasons. Emilia needed a push to discover her inner strength but once she found it she wasn’t going to relinquish it for anyone or anything. Matt had a vulnerable side that dug it’s claws into my heart. He had a lot more inner strength then he realized and once he found it and opened himself up there was no stopping him.
This book was my introduction to Ms.Cassazza, and I look forward to going back to read the first book in the series and keeping up with the Ice Tigers.

I really enjoyed reading Center of Gravity: An Ice Tigers Hockey Romance by Isabella Cassazza. Living in an area where hockey is a big deal, I was pleasantly surprised by the idea of a hockey romance. This story about Emilia Ravelli, a heiress to a clothing company, really resonated with me. Emilia has tried so hard to show her grandfather that she can be the CEO of the family company but sh seems to have trouble every time to show him she can do it. In the midst of this crisis at work, she finds out she has a problem she needs to keep to herself for a while.
Out of the blue, her grandfather gives her an ultimatum, to move from Rome to Boston, to run a Hockey Team he just bought. The team is the company’s way to get their foot in the door begin selling their luxury clothing line in the United States. Emilia is told this is her last test to show she can make something of herself or she will be disowned.
The story has wonderful characters who have personality, friendships, and the team spirit and guts to work hard to show everyone they have what they need to be successful. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends. Can’t wait to pick up another book by Ms. Cassazza.

This book had me hooked from the beginning. This book is different from any book I have read and I enjoyed every minute of it. This story has so many great things such as romance, mystery, suspense, drama, and deals with some hard and sensitive subjects. There is some great chemistry between Josh and Tasha but neither one of them are looking for anything serious. I have read other books by this author and I have enjoyed every book so I knew this one would be just as great. The author writes with such detail that you feel like you’re in the story. I highly recommend this book.

I have to say In The Arms of Morpheus: A Speculative Romance (Antiheroes Series Book 2) by Gaia B Amman was not quite what I expected. That is not a bad thing I’m just saying it wasn’t exactly what I expected. It read like a mystery book all the way through it and I was trying desperately to figure it out before I got to the end. Needless to say, it didn’t end the way that I planned. However, the characters are very interesting, and their interactions are all solid. I think the thing that I like best about this book was the interactions between the characters. So much misreading of intention, so much fear of being clear about how you feel. The fear of rejection, the fear of commitment. But isn’t that what we are all made of. Watching Tasha and Josh come to grips with their feelings was quite the roller-coaster. I especially liked the historical notes at the end.

One Hot Texas Summer is the first book in Nicole Flockton’s new Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge series. I had read her Man’s Best Friend series so after reading the synopsis I decided that for sure, I will dig into the new series as I thought that I knew what to expect and yes, she did absolutely not disappoint! One Hot Texas Summer is a great summer romance that goes much deeper than it seems on the surface! Nicole gives us the youngest of the Prentice brothers, Tate and Kelly Turner who has been thinking about Tate way too much lately (even though he is a ‘younger man’, well, just by few years!!!). These are two young people who work really hard for what they have – Tate has taken over the running of the family orchard when his father had a stroke, and Kelly took over the local florist shop and turned it into a success. Both of them have their own baggage – Kelly from her previous relationships and Tate from his family dynamics after his mother died when he was just fifteen. Neither of them is ready or wants a relationship but there are sparks, oh my, are there sparks so they have to get on with the program! AND for your information! There are characters in the story that we know from the other series apparently so now I need to go and pick up the Sweet Texas Secret series but I am not complaining as I live Nicole’s style of writing and reading something heart-warming and relatable during the times we are living, it is no hardship!

This is one true love story in an unlikely pairing. The couple, the male and female, are drawn to one another but choose to deny their initial attraction. The male wants to run from his feelings of fear of being shut down and the woman is ill-trusting after a difficult breakup. The more they spend time with one another, the more their mutual attraction brings them closer together. This is a beautiful story, perfect scenery and perfect characters to bring it altogether. I absolutely love how everything ties together, especially bringing the best characters together, beautiful descriptions of the world around the characters, steamy and seductive scenes with beautiful characters. I loved this!

As the two fight their intuition on what they think of love, will they go the opposite way and wind up where they always wanted to be after all? This is a beautifully written story filled with steamy innuendo. You love how electrifying their intensity draws not only the reader in but their love for one another. Great, intense, steamy and romantic book!

Kelly owns her own florist shop in the small town of Sweet Ridge. After her last relationship went awry, she isn’t sure if that forever kind of love is for her. After a lunch with friends, she finds herself in charge of organizing and decorating a secondary location for the town’s upcoming Founder’s Day Festival. If that wasn’t enough stress, she will be working side-by-side with the man she has proclaimed to be the town playboy, Tate Prentice. Tate is now in charge of Prentice Farms after his mother passed away and his father became ill. As the youngest of three boys, it has fallen on his shoulders to keep the farm running since the other two are living their own lives. He loves the farm, and takes his role seriously, which is why he is not looking forward to planning the Founder’s Day Festival with Kelly. Once these two get together to start working, sparks fly…and not necessarily all good ones. While there is attraction, there is also some pent up anger issues that each are holding from other areas of their lives that bleed into their working relationship. This story is the ups and downs of building a new relationship in a small town with two individuals who are independent and hard-working. I enjoyed this book and story was sweet. There was enough drama to be believable without being over-the-top. I enjoyed their banter and when they would call each other on their b.s.. I sat down and started this story and didn’t get up until I was done…it was that good.

Man I was just hooked from the first chapter. I have read other books by this author and again I was not let down. I really like how the characters just really come together and that there is just the right amount of drama to fill out with the romance and that they compliment one another.
I really like how the chemistry between Josh and Tasha unfolds. I really like the complexity of things within the story as this just adds to everything. I really like the use of Native American culture lore. I really like how the author is able to bring a creative use of it that both is respectful and adds to the story. I really look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
