One Hot Texas Summer (Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge Book 1) by Nicole Flockton. I loved this book. It was a short read but kept me turning the pages as fast as I could. Its the story of Kelly Turner who has ended up back in Sweet Ridge, Texas after a messy breakup and a horribly boring accounting job in Houston. She is so glad to be back close to her Mom and friends. She has opened a flower shop called “This Bud is for you” and its doing terrific. When one of her best friends Macy asks her to manage a Satellite site for the Town’s annual Founder’s Day Festival she can’t say no. Then she finds out its located at Prentice Peach Farms where the infamous Tate Prentice is running the Farm. She has thought a lot about Tate and even had some dreams about him but he’s known for his playboy ways so she knows he’s the last thing she needs. When they start working together Tate is infatuated with Kelly and wants to prove to her he’s not what everyone says he is. Kelly is having trouble keeping her distance from Tate and she really wants to believe he’s not the player the town says he is. Will Kelly and Tate be able to get past all the junk and make it work?
